I have paid money 4753 as advance for new internet connection installation.
But due to non availability of installation executive.
It was cancelled.
It's almost 19 days of refund request, till date refund not processed.
I am not getting any response from act customer care. They are telling 24hrs but it's almost 19 days no one called.

    I am using act broad band connection past 2 years. Recently i have identified that act showing wrong data usage, usually i will use 6 gb maximum and 200 gb more than enough for my office and personal use. But now within 3 days it is showing 100 gb utilized. To check, yesterday i have switched off my router and i connected my laptop through mobile hotspot. But act app is showing that i have used 5 gb today, even customer support engineer also confirmed the same. Looks like act is cheating the customer and forcing the customer to buy extra data.

    Even today also i have switched off my wifi router but 4 GB data used today (Yesterday 15 GB used, but i am using mobile data)and multiple time i called customer care but no use.

      Applied for act fibernet connection and made 6 months payment online on 31st march. Due to lockdown, details were shared through phone and whatsapp to the sales person mr charan. Called him again after a week to check status of connection, again he said it will be done in 3-4 days. On 8 april, team came for a new connection and went back saying there are no ports in junction box and new one needs to be set up. Thereafter called customer care several times but no use. Called mr charan but he declined calls and not responding on whatsapp. Sent email to helpdesk. [protected]@actcorp.in. On 14 april, applied for refund by calling bangalore customer care. Till now not received any refund, everytime i call customer care, they say it will be done.

        Hi,
        I took 6 months plan for act and asked for installation. Technician came and told that no ports available and will be back in one hour. He didn't come even after 2 days. When i spoke to customer care, they said it will take 2 weeks time. Then i asked for refund and they said will get full refund if i cancel it as connection was not yet created. I opted for refund and they raised a ticket and said refund team will contact me in a week. It didn't happen. And suddenly ticket got closed without refunding the money. Again i called to customer cared and they reopned the ticket. Now, after a week again they closed the ticket.

        Refund request process started on 14th april 2020. Two times it was opened and again closed with out any refund or information. Didn't get any refund even today may 5th 2020.

        Please help me to get my refund back.

          Plz refund the amt which i had paid for new connection of internet..i didn't get proper information nd communications from ur exicutive by name AJAY..so I'm not interested in ur service..It has been a real bad approach form your end to your new customer, well you where able to communicated at the time when you booked the order for new connection and even while doing the payment . But unfortunately you are unable to communicate with us or even receive our calls .

            Hi,

            My act username=[protected]
            I had mentioned earlier and called them n number of times to disconnect my account permanently. But still i receive message stating for the monthly charge which is illegal and not legitimate since i have a prepaid connection and once the prepaid amount is exhausted then you can't provide any kind of service until i recharge it again.

            Please help me to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

              Hi
              I wanted to discontinue from broadband services provided by act.in their app there is no option available for that nor in the ivr. I spent countless hours trying to reach them for discontinuing their service but in vain. Suddenly one representative of theirs called me for clearing dues and i informed him to take up my request for discontinuing. He then directed me to write an email to helpdesk team and in case i don't pay the dues then it will be automatically discontinued. Infact the response i received in the email was the same. Now i am getting another bill from them. Are they kidding me. I haven't used their services and they are not ready to withdraw their services and sending me bills. I am totally out of options.

                I booked and payed all money on April 16 now may 2 first the act person told me to give connection with in one week now toys more than two weeks is over ..so idont want act service any more ..I need my money back..in between nobody contact me ..I tried alot customer care ..I feel act is not a trustable company too much frustrated..

                  I have asked for refund of the amount which i have paid for new connection, ref no. Sr[protected] and the ticket number sr[protected].

                  It is been 10 days from the day i have raised the request for the refund, i am not getting any response from act and getting worst experience when ever i give a call to customer care. They are saying it will take months together to get the amount refund

                  Can i get the money quicker as this is not a small amount rs 4753/-

                  I had given 10 calls after the payment for checking when will i get new connection done at my house as i am doing my work from home. No one turned out, so i went to another vendor and asked for refund.

                  Now i had given 10 more calls for the follow up of refund amount no response for the same.

                  I have written the problem to branch officer, division officer and customer care but i am not getting any response from them

                    Troubling people in crises. Been more than 10days since i paid and since then have been calling almost everyday and i been told to wait because they hav to install some kind of box in my building.
                    Every time i call they tell they have raised a complaint /ticket, i dont understand the point of raising tickets when nobody is willing to attend them. B4 connection i was told they r the only provider working during lockdown with licence/
                    Permission and now they use lockdown as the reason of delay.

                          Hello team,

                          Appreciate what all you are doing in this tough times but please fix the problem permanently.

                          I am having issues from last 10days where i am not able to use your network.
                          The moment i connect to my office vpn the system becomes damm slow that no application works and your technician said there is problem with the vpn connections but no resolution. He said a alternative plan to get a statis ip which might solve.. So i logged a complaint again after 24 hours some one from technical department called and i explained the problem he said i dount it will fix the issue he said he will call me back and never bothered to call me back... And worst thing is i keep getting messages that some one kept contacting me and i did not answer... I got that message 5 times but not one called me..

                          I have 2 issues right now and i am dependent on act

                          1. As per your technician i have a bad router so i need to new gig bit router which i am ready to pay..

                          2. Major issue i am not able to do my office work because the moment i connect to the vpn its getting slow.. I can show if some one wants to come one remote to see the issue

                              Hello sir,

                              This is narayana rao ponnamanda,

                              We approached act fibernet, guntur on march 20, 2020 for a new broadband connection. On the same day at 7 pm, an executive came from act, guntur and explained about plans. Also, he assured us to provide new connection in one day.

                              We paid a sum of rs. 1, 944 on march 21st via google pay to the act fibernet account for the new connection.

                              After that we have waited for 2 days and started calling to the executive about the new connection. But he keep on telling that your connection will be arranged in a few days.

                              Finally after 10 days (On march 31st, 2020) we got a message of cancellation of work order and the message is that, they are unable to provide new connection to my home.

                              After getting the above message, we called the executive about the connection. He said that they are unable to provide connection and will refund the money and asked us to send bank account details. After that we send the bank account details. But my money is not refunded in the next 5 days. He keep on saying that your money will be credited in a day or two. Almost 28 days gone but till now no money credited to my account.

                              In the mean time, we called three times for refunding of money to the customer care. They always saying that your money will be refunded in 48 hours. But after the completion of 48 hours, we are getting a message saying that your complaint has been resolved. But my money is not refunded.

                              Right now, we don't know what to do. Because of lock down, their office is also closed to meet them personally.

                              We suffered a lot mentally with this issue and with the act fibernet company.

                              The person who reached us to provide new connection is also talking irresponsibly when we asked for refund.

                              So, please look after the issue and help us in refunding of money and get compensation for my suffering. And please took necessary action against the act fibernet company.

                                I applied for act broadband connection on mar 25th. The demand of electrition they make delay on installation and there is no response from them because of that i applied refund after 3 weeks. Now i waiting for refund from 2 weeks no response from act provider. Today i called for customer care and they said wait for 10 days for refund. Now my financial situation is too bad so i need the amount as soon as possible. I need my refund tracker. Beacuse i waited for 5 weeks more and i am not ready for wait for anything so please refund my amount between thursday.

                                  Payment procedure is doing divya her mobile no [protected], she tell me 100% broadband connection will get up to 25th april2020 but untill 27th april 2020 i do not get. My urgency is up to 3rd may2020 work for home due to non connection my salary will cut. All are inform her. Also i inform if act unable to give connection then refund my rs 4399. Because only 3days remain for my urgency.

                                    Have booked my connection on april 7 th, have paid for 6 months and the no one have even called or reached to me for even the connection, and call the customer care they only thing each person says is give us 24 hours...
                                    It’s been a week i am following up since the connection days exceeded 10 days as promised by the sales executive who assured me of the connection...
                                    I have been calling the customer care since more than a week and all i get to hear from them is please wait 24 hours the complain is a high priority one so you will get it resolved within 24 hours.

                                    And when asked what do i do if not the staff do not have answers so every other day i am either reaching them from different numbers since they don’t receive calls from mine.

                                    And at times it’s to a level where they hear my query, without collection of information tell they will check the status and mind me this is with no information about me or my account, they put you on a hold for sometime, and soon your disconnected.

                                    Understand this is a lockdown situation but atleast answer to the queries, don’t just escape from them, seriously this sort of response from such an renowned internet provider is annoying.

                                        On 23rd march i made a payment of rs 7498/- to act fibernet for a new connection. Till 9th of april i didn't get the connection so i have requested for refund (Ref sr[protected]) but till now i haven't got the refund. When i am asking to customer care they are keep saying it's in process. Initially they have told me that it will take 7 days. From 13th april almost everyday i am calling customer care but not getting any resolution.

                                        I can understand the present scenario. But do you know in digital India if you will make a NEFT transfer how much it would take? I think it will not take more than 3 working days. If I am not wrong total 18 days(13 working days) are over. How much time you are expecting me to wait? Sorry to say it looks like you are taking the advantage of this scenario & delaying the payment.
