      I took 6minth ACT Fibernet subscription on 17th January 2021and expiry was on 18th July.
      By 17th July itself I have mailed them to deactivate my plan for which I got the reply on 21st july 2021 that they are proceeding with my request and apologies for delaying.

      And later they said they are charging buffer amount of 296 rupees for 4days - which I didn't used.
      Amd I have returned 4k set of box - from my 1000 rupees deposit- they detected without informing and remaining amout to have transferred to my ACT Fibernet account. They said they cannot transfer to my bank account and customer service not helping me to get my amount back.

      Really disappointed to pay unnecessarily and not able to get my amount back.

        Hi All,

        I have been using Beam broadband (ACT Fibernet) since more than 8years.

        I have been frequently facing internet connectivity issues and frequency is almost a new ticket every 10-15days. And I need to call customer care number multiple times (this is worst that calls never connect in a single attempt). I have asked for an escalation call from their team but every time a new agent check-ins and makes false promises/commitments.

        One agent says escalation call request has been taken and I'll be receiving a callback. But i never received callback.

        When I followup for the same again a new agent check-ins saying, no request has been raised for escalation call. I was surprised to hear that. The guy who spoke in morning said he raised request and the guy who spoke in evening said no ticket was raised and on my demand it was created over the same call.

        I have sent multiple emails for nodalofficer.[protected]@actcorp.in and appellate.[protected]@actcorp.in but never received a convincing email/call. But everytime received similar response as apologize for inconvenience caused we will look into the issue.

        Yes issue is resolved now after 2days of raising a ticket with ACT. But I have been facing issue with internet connectivity issues very frequently, almost 10-15days every time.

        Service is very worst. Frequent fibrecut/port down/Switch issue etc etc.

          I've been a customer of Act for more than 5 years for home and office... I've requested for temporary disconnection in May due to lock down but they have reactivated after a month without my consent. I've not used a single byte in last 3 months but they kept it activated and I have lost 3 months in that due to which they have suspended my account for bill due. Now I'm requesting for waiver but I'm unable to speak to anyone.

            Regarding Internet Connection issues

            Hello Sir/Madam,
            I have recently Registered For Act Fibernet broadband Connection on[protected] Within two days the Installation and account activation was Done that is on[protected] From then on I'm facing connection issues, every time I try Accessing the Internet it says the Network has been Connected But No internet Access.

            I have tried Contacting your support team from last 5 days But I Don't see any use in that...

            I had chosen ACT Fibernet services when I moved into Electronic City, Bangalore in Jan 2021. But due to the second lockdown, I moved back to my hometown in April. Hence, I requested for suspension and disconnection of the wifi services. My first plan was of 6 months time period, which was prepaid. So in August once the plan expired, I notified them to disconnect my account, I also ended up not using 2 months worth data as I moved out of the city. But instead of disconnecting my account, they are updating my account with late payment charges and are mentioning in the mails that you have not renewed your plan as the reason. This is outright exploitation. I have very clearly asked them for disconnection, they cannot force me into it like this.
            I request for necessary actions to be taken against this service company.

              Internet is not working at all for more than 24 hrs, nobody responds to it.

              Customer care people don't have clue on what is happening and who will be fixing it. We had a backend team number, when we called them they are saying, we do not have escalation team numbers and all.

              Worst service, I strongly recommend not to use this service.

                I have registered and disconnected my services from August 1st. Registered number [protected] from Hyderabad. But I have not yet received my refund. I have opened the complaint but they close it without any resolution. I was last told that they will process the refund in 7 days that was 2 weeks back. This has been the worst experience of customer service ever. I need my refund to be processed as soon as possible.

                    Been using ACT broadband for the past 2 odd years.
                    The first 7 months were fine, with no issues, however since then we regularly had poor wifi and similar problems. And we noticed raising a complaint for the same almost every month for more than a year.

                    We finally requested a technical person be sent home to check if there is any issue with the wiring, because no matter how many times we complained, the issue never fully got resolved.

                    They did send a technician home and it was stated that we were provided a router (which we receiebed from ACT when we had onboarded their services two years back) that does not support the speed of the internet package we had taken. This was a really huge miss from their side. Our current plan for more than a year has been 200 mbps, however the router only supports 100 mbps. But without knowing this, we have been paying extra money AND receiving poor internet.

                    So, naturally we raised a polite mail to them - helpdesk.[protected]@actcorp.in - the first mail was sent on 30th July.

                    I receive a call from their team for this issue on 12th AUGUST! this also after repeated calls to the support team and multiple follow up mails.

                    They suggested that they will give us a free router as compensation, but we did not accept this, since If we changed service providers we would automatically get a free router. It was NOT the right resolution for a mistake as big as this. So we asked them to get back with a more sincere compensation. This is when the harassment started.

                    I'm not sure if they can mark numbers and ignore it, because that's what happened. In the event that someone does connect, they will cut my call as I'm speaking, REPEATEDLY, or not answer my call all together.

                    There were days when I used to get cut atleast 5 times a day as I'm speaking.

                    This is when we sent a stinker email to the team. A stinker stating that it's going to be a month and no resolution was arrived at.

                    I was now met with harassment from the retention team itself. I spoke to one Saravanan/ Saravana on 24th August, from the Chennai team, who assured me that a new router and 10 days worth free service will be provided. This call was not a pleasant one. I was FORCED to accept this useless compensation. In the call, this person also suggested I was bargaining for more. Absolute nasty support. Still, I agreed to it, because I had already paid upfront money - My package does not end till November!

                    And today, on 25fh August, one day after confirming the issue to be resolved, I receive an automated msg that my service has been terminated. At 6.45 pm, when no support was going to be possible.

                    NOT ONLY HAVE I BEEN HARRASED, IM NOW ROBBED OF THE THOUSANDS I HAVE PAID UPFRONT.

                    Please do not lie on a public platform such as this. Nobody got in touch with me, and the issue has not been resolved!

                    In fact today, my internet connection has been disabled, stating I owe money for the free modem even though my next billing date is in November 2021.

                    just how much more is your team going to harass me???

                    A month is now over since I raised this complaint and the harassment has still not stopped. and there has been no one who has reached out to me.
                    Update as of October 11- No one has reached out to me regarding this issue, however, ACT has put down false comments that this issue is resolved. The complaint was raised on - Sep 21.

                            I have changed my wifi to Act a month ago, I am having issue with the backup net when there is power cut. I have raised complaint many times but local act technician hasn't fixed it yet. I have online classes and facing much problem. Hope the issue is fixed asap.

                              Your company is not having any ethical values.

                              You must consume metered electricity from BESCOM or relevant company.

                              Instead your company is consuming electricity illegally, by hidden wirings.

                              Let's consider this case:

                              Recently I moved to a rented house.

                              I found there exists an electric connection leading to ACT company box.

                              I contacted your company for more than 100times.

                              Your customer care is not responding properly.

                              If you possess some ethical values kindly remove that electric connection from my home immediately.

                                I have disconnected my ACT connection on 27th May, its 90 days and still no refunds processed.

                                Escalation to nodal officer or appellate is equally waste, there is only 1 standard response "Give us some more time" but no one cares to refund the money.

                                I have been having the same problem with them. It is extremely disappointing to know that such a big organization is cheating people for money in broad daylight.
                                There are 100s of such complaints and struggling to get their refunds, I am seriously not going to recommend ACT to anyone ever again.

                                Here also a standard response by ACT. You will arrange a call back, the person will call and say our refund team will get back to you, and NO ONE EVER calls back, same story continues.

                                Same here .. I got a call from the social media team...what's the point if they only call to tell me that they will arrange a call??? And later no one calls...it is pathetic...and there is some awesome new and weird rules or disclaimers that every other person tellls me... Some business head is suppose to make a decision ... How difficult is it to understand the situation and make a decision and return the customers money??? What they don't understand is that in the process they are not helping the company but ruining the reputation completely and going to loose customers...this is called Pennywise and pound foolish thinking...
                                And this is also very specific to Hyderabad office I am not sure why are they making different rules for Hyderabad people only...I see people from Mumbai getting their refunds..

                                I received a response after 95 days that ACT policy is NOT to refund the money, please transfer the balance to your friend or relative. Simply Pathetic.

                                For last 3 months, they have been responding that they are working on refunds and it will be processed shortly and now they respond that we don't provide refunds.

                                  Hi Team,

                                  We got ACT Fibernet new connection on 15th April 2021 for 6M+1M and paid Rs. 3887/ in advance. We were out of station for the last 4 month, our connection got disconnected by your team without our knowledge.

                                  We raised a ticket on Oct 19 2021 for the reconnection, but we did not get any proper response from the ACT team till yesterday(22/08). Today morning a field engineer came and asked us to pay Extra Rs. 2500/- for the connection to resume. your team has given missed call mid-night at 1.00 P.M this is not correct behavior.

                                  Today, The Technician said, It will take 2 days to resolve this issue. We have not been using the Internet for the last 3 months and disconnected my internet connection. So, please provide a waiver amount for last 3 months and proceed as soon as possible and let me know of any concern.

                                  We are not able to do our office work without internet connection. Kindly investigate this issue and provide a proper solution for the same.

                                      I have disconnected ACT internet connection w.e.f. 30/07/2021 as per technician advice as no internet was possible in my area. My ACT account No. was[protected]. However, my connection is active till 06/09/201. I sent refund request for refund. But complaint has been closed two times without any reply. I called your customer care executive many times. They kept me waiting and did not return to talk. I provided my bank details also to them. But I have not received any refund. Very bad customer service. Never buy ACT fibrenet. I want my refund urgently.
