Again my net stopped working from Wednesday.Technician is asking power details for common ACT box switch. Your ACT Fibernet Ticket no: SR10366746979344 has been registered.This is the horrible experience totally no net for more than 11 days in these two months.
During 3 months, internet didnt work for more than 17 days.Service representative calculating in hours .Now recently there is no power in junction box and asking permission to keep power junction box in that area.When i refused they are saying they will disconnect the service and immediately dropped off the call and disconnected request ticket has come to my inbox.What a rude behaviour..

    ACT broadband did not refund my advance amount after the disconnection even after raising a complaint with them. Every week there would be internet outage of atleast 24hrs. Within 1 month I had lost over 10 days of internet, so disconnected. Didn't receive my 1 month advance remaining with them, also received no compensation for so much internet outage.

    The behaviour is same every where.. I live in madurai...i placed my account in safe custody, when requested for reconnection, they immediately started billing, but service not provided. I raised many complaints, still no use. Finally Raised disconnection request. They closed all complaints - no refund provided, incorrect billing complaints closed.

    I feel better to complain to TRAI.

      I dint get internet for past 16 days..I am calling customer care but not even a single good response from them...I got frustrated..as we are doing work from home, this really frustrating...and 5 days back, they called me and said you have to put gx box, have to pay 2000inr and I accepted, because they said they will refund the box while you disconnect from act internet..I also paid the amount and they said they will give in a day itself..but no one called or messaged about connection for 4 days..its gone..it is like cheating..worst customer service from act.

      I want my 2000inr for gx box and compensation back and also I am frustrated because of this.
      After you transfer I will disconnect this account for sure..customer service is very bad..I called 2 days back for disconnection..till now no proper response.
      But internet is good.

        I have my ACT account[protected] deactivated on 30-Nov-2022. I have raised a ticket on same day for removal of junction box at my premises. It’s going to be a month now still it’s not resolved. Every time when I called to check on the ticket they are raising a new one and to the surprise they are closing the earlier ticket without any concern from me..
        IS THERE ANY RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY IN ACT ?????????? also arrange to refund the EB unit consumed so far at commercial rate as per government rule..

          Incorrect address on invoice

          Hi Team

          I have submitted the required documents, however the address mentioned in the invoice is incorrect. It is two building away from my house.

          I called customer care numerous times, only to hear that they can't change and if I want to change i have to opt a new connection....

          Hi, I have taken ACT fibernet connection on 20.10.2022. Without my consent they have activate OTT called Yupp Scope. I haven’t given any consent for activation. It was activated from the day of connection on trial basis for one month and chargeable from second month. They have billed an amount of ₹206 for one month. I didn’t even download the app and logged in that app as I am not even aware of that. When I called the customer care they said that I have activated it. Unethical business practices. Disgusting.

            Last November 16th paid six month package rs.3894 he is finish instalation 18 th November
            November last date another bill 2200 individual gx box but act sales man and instalation tl say that time it's free act customer service person's telling no free it's paid that amount also me paid but no internet November 4day not working December month 10th and 11th no working same 19th to now 23rd not working customer care ask today come tomorrow come very worst service

                    They automatically extended an unused connection for 7 months which was taken as prepaid 6+1 month after being customer since 2020 to September 2022. Harassment to pay October bill when I asked for waiver o[censored]nused data due to unprecedented relocation during personal crisis which started during death of relative and I couldn’t come back home. Since they have no option to disconnect and renew . But every ticket n call has been mishandled and emails also. All tickets closed. Same thing happened in Bangalore after being customer for 2.4 years with valid disconnection request. They have zero value for loyalty. All proof of disconnection and no data use is accessible to them. If they are hiding away and closing such a simple issue it’s a spineless company growing with no plan not tracking o[censored]ser consumption. I had 5G n normal 300/150 mbps plan but network won’t go beyond one room. I used broadband from Bsnl all my life prior to that and upto first floor in the house had undisrupted network speed. I doubt if technically they are using the technology they claim to as the system is flawed, billing is fraudulent as we see many customers who took time to post here see for justice sake. We know our money is lost but we are fighting for justice for a lower middle class man who should not fall into their trap. One customer 1000 rupees after disconnecting. 100 such frauds a day sums upto??? No refund for prepaid plans worth 7000+ consider just 100 a month and the looting they do??? Let justice be done. They need to be looked into. All books for closure summary to know the extent of money they make n quote impossible offers which Bsnl and Airtel can offer as they are legitimate companies.

                    I have sent several followup emails to your team but you have not refunded. I discontinued services on call with your team in Dec'2018. But you still sent me a bill in Jan 2019 - i thought it was some outstanding - i paid but then found out it was next month bill. Although its a mistake from my side to have blindly paid it. I immediately caught it. I had vacated the house in dec 2018. And nobody rented it upto April 2019. Yet your team is iresponsibly claiming ur not allowed to refund advanced payments. This is inexcusable. I have seen this scenario in Chennai also. So its worrisome - if you bill us excessively and never refund because ur billing system is at fault. Kindly refund ASAP. and close the account as it should be.

                      In dec 2018 I terminated my service from Bangalore as I relocated and I get a closing bill as final statement. In a moment of rush I paid it thinking I made a miss. After a week or so I went back and asked about the additional bill and they told that was January 2019 bill. I told them their systemic error to shoot an extra bill and requested refund several times on calls n emails but till date they are saying as per policy they can’t refund. Now in 2022 I took the bite and due to WFH took an act plan out of familiarity. I paid in advance several terms since 2020. The last term in 2022 I was on 6 month advance payment of which between March 2022 to all of October 2022 I was out of home and nobody used it for 7 months. Since my earlier disconnection made zero sense to company by experience and I had no option to notify on app, I let it be as money was gone. I get a call in October with new bill saying for next cycle they have billed. I tell them I Am not using internet for 7 months although paid in full and she says u could have disconnected and reused. I told her no option was there nor by experience I have only overpaid so I did not know there was a possibility for a prepaid 6+1 month plan. I told her I am not returning due to personal situations and she sends out a notification to pay bill for that month and disconnected it. I never renewed my plan beyond my prepaid months. She can very well see for 7 months 0 data was used. Such a fraudulent team I saw the same pattern I experienced in Bangalore but Chennai was a little curteous but I think powerless. Every ticket or email sent was closed immediately. No nodal email shared. I have been digitally robbed by a company in broad daylight when every byte can be monitored remotely. Returning back to Airtel where customer service used to be real and helpful. Speed can be compromised but not cheaters to infest a society in digital age. On all counts Bangalore customer care misquoted and billed me with no refund. Users please beware. Two times hit by this same rock. I worry about users for whom their little earnings are spent here due to job needs only to be baited by sharks like these. Stay away. Airtel I hope will be a comfort zone as it was for mobile for decades in a row.. likely for internet as well.

                        I took new broadband connection from ACT on[protected]. n 16/12/22 my internet connection went down and I raised a ticket (complaint No. SR[protected]. But, no one came to check the connection. I even spoke to the customer service executive, but he also cannot confirm when they will rectify the issue. It has been already more than 48 h, still no response from ACT. Very disappointing and frustrating. I was unable to work from home...

                          Hello all,

                          My customer I'd is[protected].

                          My Internet is not working for more than 3 days .. And till now nobody has contacted me to update the status on what's happening.

                          Everyday they are extending the timeline that it will be completed by 9pm.. 3 days 9pms gone.. Nothing happened.

                          I tried calling multiple times to customer care and then I came to know that there is some cable fault.. And they are saying that there are only limited resources and they are busy in closing the other customer complaints and its time consuming it seems.. WTH.. Then who I am .. ?

                          I have been a customer since 2019 .. I didn't expect this type of customer service .. I am into 6+1 months plan .. So already paid till February.. Otherwise I would have disconnected the connection..

                          Why you guys don't have the basic courtesy to inform a customer on what's happening with the issue ..

                          .. When you have planned to complete this issue.. My job was only depend on internet bcoz I am a freelancer.. Already losing my timeline and its affecting my job efficiency.. Hope u understand ..

                          If at all u complete this issue I dont want to be billed for the days I disconnected the service..

                            My internet connection in Chennai has been down for the last 5 days since December 11th, 2022 and still not resolved Complaint was raised five days ago and the ETA status keeps getting pushed out to the next day on a daily basis. You always start out at number 20 in the Queue when dialing the complaint line and by the time you get your turn, they disconnect your phone. I have tried this multiple times and given up. NO OTHER BROAD BAND PROVIDER IN CHENNAI HAS BEEN DOWN FOR THIS LONG. These guys should be stripped of their licenses and put out of business.

                              My internet connection has not been working for 4 consecutive days. The customer staff is very insensitive.

                              This particular connection is for my cafe. Used for billing, and for customers internet access.

                              I'm forced to ask my employees to use their hotspot to make keep our cafe online on aggregator websites.

                              I have also observed, that every other internet provider can keep services interrupted post the storms.

                              But ACT has the most lethargic attitude towards consumers grievances.

                              I'm shocked and astonished by their attitude towards customer service.

                              Their App deliberately avoids letting the customer find a number to call.

                              And the hotline toll free numbers keeps getting disconnected on queue. And if somehow we get connected with an agent, you will be given answers like 'It will take time, what can we do?', 'Its because of the storm sir, we are facing issues'.

                              I mean, for how many days? If the company is so keen on raising invoices, billed for all 30 days of the month, shouldn't they rush to keep services uninterrupted?

                              On an averages, I have faced such outages atleast 4 days in a month since the day I got the connection.

                              The company should be stripped of their license.

                                Request number SR[protected]. None seems to be working on the issue, post cyclone lines been cut and its in same status for a week now. Ticket still open with dates of resolution gets changes every night. Escalation or call to helpdesk doesn't work. ACT has worst customer service, advise everyone to stay away from ACT.

                                      I requested a change of connection to a new place, and they never changed my connection so I wasn’t using their service at all, 0KB, and then I was waiting for many days, the guy is so lazy he doesn’t want to come at all. Finally I had enough of their drama and I raised a disconnection request, but they charged the whole month pay and not refunding my money. When I called them said to refund because I didn’t use, the woman says they cannot refund because they don’t charge based on usage but based on plan. I didn’t even use any plan and they’re charging me super scam company don’t ever use their services.
