I paid INR27, 944 on 25thAug, rescheduled the same tckt on 22ndSep and paid INR25, 591. Cancelled it on 2nd OCT. GOT REFUNDED ONLY INR15, 469. While rescheduling CustomerCare agent said that " IN CASE OF ANY CANCELLATION I WILL BE REFUNDED WITH INR[protected]K+5%GST)".

I have not got my INR25, 000 yet!

I have made over hundreds of customer care calls, multiple tweets, raised multiple cases with them, every agent gives me a new case number, latest CASE NO. 14426766.
For every call to customer care I have wait for min 45mins. Wasted hours and hours of my valuable time in waiting line, still my issue is pending. Every time I call they say my issue will be solved on "PRIORITY". I just wonder if Priority case takes this long. how long a normal case would take? OR are they even taking my case on priority?

    Hi,
    My name is Anisha. k. I had a booking with Air India on July 16 2021 from San Francisco to Bangalore. There was a schedule change due to which I was unable to travel I had initiated for my ticket refund. I had already submitted a consumer complaint on this. [ID: 3067700]. This has not been resolved yet. pls do the needful ASAP.

      We took a trip with Air India from New Delhi to Male on flight AI 267 with PNR - JKSBL on 1st December, 2021. We had 2 check-in bags and and one of the bag with all our clothing including undergarments, medicines, footwear, skincare and other essentials etc. never reached Male. Me and my husband were first time traveling internationally.

      Upon querying with the airport staff at Male we raised a Property Irregularity report with File reference number MLEAI1030. Please find attached our boarding passes along with Property Irregularity report copy. They also told us to purchase a few things from the airport and air India would compensate for it. They reached out to the Air India team and mentioned that the bag will reach to us by the next flight. But that never happened.

      Upon further querying multiple times with the Air India at Male and back in India we never got any satisfactory answers as to what exactly is the situation with the bag. As we didn't had any luggage with us, we had to spend a lot of money to buy some basic needs(clothing). In fact we did not even find clothes as there was only one souvenir shop. We had no underwear, medicines, clothes etc for 4 days. We could only buy a tshirts and a few basic things but no women dress were available at the souvenir shop.

      After losing all hope and support from Air India. We were extremely traumatized and mentally stressed. We then contacted our family in India and after asking a few relatives and acquaintances, they found someone who worked at Delhi airport. That person checked at the airport and located our bag. We received our luggage 4 days later on 4th December, 2021 and we were supposed to fly back to India on 5th December 2021. We had to survive our complete honeymoon without our luggage. We were told earlier that the luggage was kept because of security reasons but that was complete lie because we eventually got our bag after 4 days.

      We have also filled formal complaints with Air India but there is no status update or any effective communication from them.

      I am attaching the relevant documents and emails to Air India.

      Please help us as this is our last hope. We have lost so much money and had a terrible honeymoon because of Air India. We had saved for this trip and wanted this to be an amazing experience but due to the lack of professionalism and customer service at Air India all that is not runied.

        would like to inform you that I booked my ticket from Aurangabad to Mumbai (Dated[protected] flight number AI 441, but due to some reasons, the airline cancelled the flight and changed my ticket to[protected]. I called customer care service and cancelled my ticket on[protected] but I haven't received my money back.

          On 22/02/2022 have a flight from Aurangabad to Mumbai, but Air India cancelled this flight, since more than 90 days I haven't received my money back.

            Dear Sir,
            I booked flight with Air India LKO-JDH on 27.04.2022 connecting flight (Lko- Del-Jdh) with PNR No.(H9BM7 & Z20WN) Now suddenly I received a message from Air India that my LKO-DEL.Flight has been rescheduled from 8:55 to 14:05 where in Del to Jdh flight is 12:55 which i can't board and no option is being provided by Air India and customer care is just not helping us just disconnecting calls in between. Please help in this regard as I have various meetings scheduled and I have to be in JDH on 27.04.2022. Need compensation for inconvenience caused

              I was schedule to travel to Delhi FROM Melbourne on 29th March 2022.

              ticket cost : 2000 $ approx or 1.3 lacs

              But called in on 27th to get my ticket turned into an open ticket as I had acute COVID symptoms, formal PCR test awaited then (home RAT Test was positive) . My result was positive given Below inline.
              E ticket also Attached .
              when fit to travel and called to rebook my open ticket, I was asked to send BOTH positive report and negative one attached with this mail - lab PCR tests done in Melbourne. (I am an Australian Citizen)

              I sent the reports duly from the lab - I was told they are NOT acceptable as Air India only accepts ICMR reports with QR code !!
              I have checked with the labs here, its accredited by DHS ( Depth of health drive thru clinic) and they DO NOT have QR codes, I do not know what ICMR is - Australian test reports have a Unique test Id, that is all.

              I have called some 30 times and tried to explain we do NOT have QR codes on our reports and I do NOT know what ICMR is..NO ONE here does..
              but the agents like parrots refuse to call a manager, cancel, refund or rebook- they want to see something - which I cannot possibly give as a document.I have already given them the most formal test report I can get in Australia.

              So frustrated. tried calling Melbourne helpline - hit a voice mail - message bank FULL. so much for customer service.

              PLEASE arrange for me to get a refund or rebook - I really need to go and meet my old parents. All my docs are attached herewith,

                We had booked tickets from chennai to Delhi on 15th feb 2020- for travel dates onward 21st may and return on 26th May 2020. E ticket number for the same is 098-[protected]/65/81/33/46/56
                we have still not received refund, please check. its been many months I am following, why is it taking so long for refund?
                When we contacted the customer case, they informed us that the refund was processed on 8th July and the status shows refunded. But we have not received any refund till now. If you have sent the refund, please give us the reference number so that we can check with our bank?

                  I had booked two tickets from Bengaluru to Chicago & back for travel on 20 Jul 21.
                  PNR HP61B, Ticket Nos[protected],[protected]
                  Due to travel ban by USA those days, I had to cancel our tickets. I was told by call Centre executive that "since USA has banned incoming travelers no cancellation charges will be deducted".
                  I had paid Rs 1, 49, 078 for the tickets. Air India levied cancellation charges, which is unjustified at the prevailing circumstances.
                  I was refunded Rs 1, 20, 878 after deducting Rs 28, 200
                  Kindly refund Rs 28200.

                    I had booked ticket of Air India Ticket from Bilaspur to Allahabad on 5th and return on 9th DEC 2022. It was cancelled due to bad weather and Air India has given receipt as full refund on the same day. This is regards cancelation of Flight and ticket cancelation by Air India Airlines for both to and return ticket. I have these 2 PNR HH31B and HH2ZE, which have been cancelled by Airlines at Airport after Flight from Bilaspur to Allahabad has been cancelled. I spoke with Air India Customer Care for both of this PNR HH31B and HH2ZE. Air India Customer Care has confirmed as both of this Ticket has been canceled by Airlines and there would be FULL REFUND by Airline. Yatra (3PL) has to raise request with Airlines for processing. But i did not receive the refund yet and its still shows as awaiting refund from Air India on Yatra portal.

                    Request Air India to process cancellation refund for both PNR asap as it is more than 4 months now.

                      I have booked an air India ticket from Heathrow to Bengaluru for 12th January 2022. Unfortunately, I couldn't perform the travel as I was tested COVID positive. There was an offer from air India on a waiver of rescheduling fees if tested positive. I contacted the customer team, who has informed me that I could avail of the waiver from the air India office, not through the website. Does it make any sense for a covid patient to go to an air India office which was 350km away from my current place? I paid the rescheduling fees of 140GBP and changed my booking to 23 January 2022. I recovered in five days and the antigen was negative. To my bad, RTPCR was tested positive, which is common in recently recovered covid patients. Again, I contacted Air India. After my request, they put my ticket on hold with the assurance that I can confirm the date after receiving a negative report. Finally, I was tested RTPCR negative. Immediately I contacted the customer team to get a confirmation on the travel date, and as result should be within 72hours to travel. I tried the whole day and night to get connected. Meanwhile, I booked the remaining tickets for traveling and all the arrangements have been made. They picked up the call and informed me that they cannot book the ticket as I haven't sent the covid positive report. If I'm sending it at that time, they will take 24 hours for ticket confirmation. I was not having any option. I won't have a place to stay if i wouldn't have performed the travel. I booked another ticket by lending money and reached India on 31st January 2022. On March 31st, 2022, I received a refund for my previous ticket(255 GBP) from a total of 544 GBP. The reply from the customer team was rescheduling fee is not refundable apart from the cancellation fee of 150 GBP. I am student who lost so much money during this travel. Iam requesting to pay me back atleast the rescheduling fees. Why should a customer be at loss or bear all the charges, if the mistake is from Air India.

                        I booked a ticker for travelling from Delhi to Singapore for 18th Dec. The flight was postponed to 19th Dec and i was informed by an email. as my travelling to Singapore on 18th Dec was must, i booked another ticker for 18th Dec. Ticket with Air India was cancelled by Air India on a phone call (on 04th or 05th Dec) and i was told that i will get my money back with in 2 weeks.
                        i have been following up with Air India for last 4.5 months but nothing is happening. email replies are standard reply that we wil get back to you.
                        even on phone call, there is no firm reply. They just say its in process. i have sent many emails and have made multiple phone calls. i have also filled up feed back form multiple times.
                        Kindly assist me in getting back my refund.

                          Hi,

                          A completely refundable ticket was cancelled on 8th Jan. The refund hasnt been refunded after 9 emails and 7 calls to Air India.

                          After 3 months the customer care replies the amount has been refunded with no details and i have received any amount. Air India asked me raise an other ticket for which there is no response again.

                          There is no escalation path or any action inspire multiple follow up.

                            I have booked air india flight ticket for the route Kolkata-Mumbai, travel date 28-Apr-2021. Unfortunately I could not able to travel on 28-Apr-2021 (high covid times) because my entire family (my husband, 2 sons got covid infected & in home isolation during that 28-Apr-2021) . At this situation, I can't travel to Mumbai because my elder son was also covid infected badly & currently was undergoing treatment. I informed Air India vide email dated 24 April 2021 (attached) but they completely denied my request of refund the ticket price & to consider such serious covid situation in India & globally. Highly arrogant behaviour of Air India staffs. requesting the forum to refund my ticket price ₹4584 (claim amount)+250 online transaction charges. I am a senior citizen & claiming my hard earned money.

                              Dear sir,
                              I booked air ticket from Delhi to Dharamshala for 26 May 2022 for onward journey and return from Dharamshala to Delhi on 29 May 22 at Airindia.in web site for myself and my wife. Passenger name is Dr Ashok Kumar Praharaj and Mrs Sangeeta Praharaj (E ticket no.[protected] &[protected]. Date of booking is 13 April22. PNR no. JD1NY for on ward journey. Both way journey showed confirmed and total amount for onward and return journey was paid for two passengers amounting to Rs 21, 136/- by credit card. Authorization code for payment is 244384. The amount was spent at Air India Ltd.
                              But in spite of paying for both ways journey I received only confirmed onward journey ticket with PNR no. JD1NY which shows the total amount of Rs 21, 136/- paid and received. Return journey ticket I didn't receive. On contacting Air India customer care and Alliance air customer care nothing happened as they were unable to help and as per Alliance air customer care advice I am contacting you. Please confirm the return ticket and send it to me or refund the return journey fare to me urgently so that ticket can be booked in other airline or cancel all tickets with full refund of Rs 21, 136/-.. Request an urgent action.

                                In my lifetime First time experience after flying for 35 years: Extreme harassment in today’s flight from Delhi to Bhubaneswar . There was no coordination with alliance air as baggages had to be unloaded coming by alliance air from Jaipur and rechecked in Delhi with hardly one hour interval. However while booking we were told inspite of short interval of one hour there won’t be inconvenience as luggage reaches destination directly. Besides a family of we three were shocked to see another 3 passengers sitting in our seats. SHOCKING! So how come this happened?
                                More passengers issued passes with same seat numbers. I had to fight out with ground staff to adjust 3 o[censored]s.
                                Shockingly more passengers also faced same situation.
                                You must investigate this issue seriously.
                                Mere excuse is derogatory RATHER take an examplary action to suspend some staff.

                                  I have a confirmed international ticket for travel from US to chennai.
                                  I have been unable to access my reservations online for the past 3 days, even though i have the email from airindia with the confirmed ticket.

                                  When i called the customer service, they are able to find my PNR but cannot advise why i cannot access it. But before they could provide any information for selecting seats, they just disconnected the calls! This happened 4 times.
                                  And on the 5th try, the representative finally told me that one of the connecting flight was cancelled!! And even this call was disconnected when i asked for options to reschedule my flight.
                                  The disconnection was deliberate as each time the representatives say they will put me on hold and come back. Then i hear the disconnecting click!!

                                  This is one of the worst customer service. I thought being a silver edge member or any loyalty to the airlines would garner some courtesy. But not with Air India.

                                  I still do not have any information on what is happening with my confirmed ticket for next week travel. I have emailed several times and no answer.
                                  Please respect your clients lest you lose them forever

                                    I had booked a flight with Air India for travel in March 2020, Dammam to Delhi Return ticket. Because of the pandemic, ticket got cancelled, but I have not received the refund. Its been more than 2 years. I kept on writing and receiving reply of refund assurance but refund had not been made yet.

                                    It's extremely frustrating to communicate over and over again. It had been more than two years waiting proper response on this matter. Every time there is a new request of information or feedback. Is this the Maharaj way treatment of Air India. I am expecting the very basic thing that is getting my own money refunded, I never thought I have to struggle to get my own money back.

                                      The staffs behaver are very worst to approach the customer.
