I had booked a flight with Air India for travel in March 2020, Dammam to Delhi Return ticket. Because of the pandemic, ticket got cancelled, but I have not received the refund. Its been more than 2 years. I kept on writing and receiving reply of refund assurance but refund had not been made yet.

It's extremely frustrating to communicate over and over again. It had been more than two years waiting proper response on this matter. Every time there is a new request of information or feedback. Is this the Maharaj way treatment of Air India. I am expecting the very basic thing that is getting my own money refunded, I never thought I have to struggle to get my own money back.

    I am plan to travel from chennai to Mucat on 13th April by Air india flight i am facing problem with airport staffs which they not allow to fly without any reason.
    The staffs behaver are very worst to approach the customer.
    i want refund the full air ticket amount and staffs (Sure- Supervisor) should be remove from Air india.
    We required immediate action to avoid further complaints and action.

        Hello I was billed twice for a ticket booked in AI 971 for the 23rd of April 2022 for Blr to Doha.
        For the first transaction no tkt was issued.
        The 2nd transaction was successful.
        Kindly refund the amount for the failed transaction without further delay.
        My name is Sujoy Mukherjee and my pnr number is H2LND.

        The failed transaction PNR number as provided by the AirIndia call center is H2LFY.

          We booked an Air India flight through make my trip for 11th April from Kochi to Bangalore departure at 3.30 pm from Kochi. While trying to web check in the day before, we were informed by Air India that web check was not working and we should directly get boarding pass from the Air India counter at the Airport.
          At the time of booking, we were not informed that my flight would be an ATR operated by Alliance Air. The ATR seating is congested and as a Senior Citizen and 6 ft tall, I found the trip uncomfortable especially as seats were non reclining. If I knew I would not have booked on such a flight.
          At 12.30 pm the flight status display indicated that check in had started. When we approached the counter the official informed that check in would start only at 1.30 pm. At 12.45 pm the display showed security check. Again we went to the counter for check in and they informed that check in staff have not come in. Unable to understand how the flight status display can show such an erroneous message.
          Finally after much discussion with your officials, they started check in at 1.15 pm. The problems did not stop there. The officials could not find our names in the passenger list. I took them over 15 minutes to finally get our check in done . This was a 2 1/2 hr flight with
          No refreshments available ...so strange.
          I feel this is sheer negligence and callousness on the part of Air India.
          We chose Air India to get a feel of the new Air India ...we regret our decision.

          My parents & 10 year old daughter was travelling from Allahabad to Kolkata (our home town), they had a train reservation for 18th June 2022 however due to the protests going on accross the country against Agneepath Scheme, their train got cancelled & i had to book a airline ticket from Allahabad to Kolkata for 19th June 2022. It is a connecting flight from Allahabad to New Delhi & then to Kolkata... The Allahabad to New Delhi flight is with Alliance Airlines and the flight from New Delhi to Kolkata is with Indigo Airlines.
          Once my parents reached Allahabad Airport, Alliance Airways informed them that the flight has been delayed for 2 hours. The layover time in New Delhi is 2hr. 10mins. and hence this delay would mean that my parents are going to miss the connecting Indigo flight from New Delhi...
          I contacted the Alliance Airways, Indigo Airways & also MakeMyTrip to see if anyone can help us on this buy no one was willing to or able to and they asked us to cancel the connecting flight, which would mean we need to pay extra. I explained the entire situation to everyone, and that we have already paid approx. 42, 000 for this... I don't blame Indigo or MakeMyTrip for this because the entire chaos was created by Alliance Airlines and they are doing nothing to help us!!!
          This is such a inhuman behaviour at their end... Why should a passenger get harassed or had to pay extra because of their fault????
          I have booked two tickets of alliance air from guwahati to kolkata with pnr 29QNAA of 02.06.2023 through easemy trip portal. On 25. 05 2023 I had received a message from the airline that as per your request the flight tickets are cancelled. Immediately I had called the airline any they say to contact easemy trip my travel agent and when I called ease my trip they are saying that I have cancelled through the website of alliance air but to my surprise I have not cancelled the said tickets. Sevveral times i have contacted custoner care of alliance air but theyrefuse to share any details from where thetickets are cancelled. Therefore request you to please intervene and help me with a solution so that I can travel on 2nd of June to kolkata.
          I have no idea of cancellation of tickets and I had booked the tickets through ease my trip portal therefore if any cancellation is required I wil contact y travel agent rather than visiting the website and cancelling the tickets.
          I think the staffs are looting the customers by booking tickets at low prices and then cancelling themselves and saying that customers are cancelling the same with applicable airline charges.
          Request you kind intervention in the matter at the earliest and take action against the cheaters

            Hello,
            No response or refund to my original ticket[protected]Delhi - Toronto). Flight was cancelled due to Covid. Travel Agent already submitted the RA number [protected] . And made many calls to Air India. No response. Never expected such a pathetic service that even after 8 months, no refund is made. Would appreciate if someone can help and escalate to concerned department to resolve and refund the amount.

              On 26 Oct 2021 i had purchased Ticket for LKO to DEL 8 Dec 2021 via AI 812 Dep 20:15 and Arr at Delhi 21:35 pm. I had to take a Flight to USA on 8 Dec 2021, Via Flight UA 802 scheduled Dep at 11:45 pm.
              I was advised by certain well wishers that AI 812 flight will be too close and if slight delay, i will miss the US Flight. I was also informed that due to Covid - 19 Procedures checking, there are huge rush Since This flight Booking Reference Z7BHY, had return flight also on 4 April AI 811, so i could not cancel the LKO - DEL sector. I purchased another Ticket Y36R7 from Air India and reached Delhi and took Flight to USA.
              While returning on 4 April 2022, i was not issued the Boarding Pass and sent to Customer Care Center at T3 Terminal and after checking all details, they advised the Booking counter to issue Boarding passes and informed, I should apply online for Refund. of LKO-DEL Unused sector on 8th Dec ref Z7BHY
              You are kindly Requested to reimburse / Return the Unused Ticket.

                This is regarding travel from Delhi to Bhopal on 8th April 8:40 AM. PNR - ZCQ6F and ticket no. 098-[protected].
                I am extremely unhappy with the airport staff for their behaviour which is a shame for the Tata company as I am also a Tata employee. I reached before time and was in the queue for check-in. The queue was long but I reached the counter at 7:50. I had already done web check-in, printed boarding pass as well as bag tag. When I reached the counter, the lady took a lot of time talking on a personal phone with someone and later said this tag will not be helpful and she will issue a new one. So she tore the tag and later after sometime told me that she is unable to issue the tag and I should check at another counter.
                The lady at another counter also took some time and then at 8:12 she canceled my boarding without informing me. Later she called her manager ‘Rahul’ who was extremely rude in behaviour and I told him it's fine not to have a check-in bag as it's only 7kg so I can take it in a cabin bag but he didn’t let me board the flight at all. I have my marriage tomorrow and marriage functions are starting today and he could have considered it. From 8:12 there was still 28 minutes left for the flight. It was not a tough job to manage and reach the flight but he didn’t agree and was very rude.
                Since Air India didn’t have any other flights to Bhopal today, I had to book a flight from another airline now.
                Kindly take strict action on the employee and I need a complete refund of my second flight ticket of INR 4875/- and compensation for harassing me at the airport.
                I did not expect such service and behaviour from air india staff.

                  I have booked 2 tickets for traveling Delhi to Kochi through Air India website and paid Rs 14852/- through google pay UP Id Google pay payment was completed and money deducted but in Air India website it shown an error occurred and ticket didn't booked. My account has been deducted by the amount said above. i would like to receive the deducted amount asap

                    I had booked a flight with Air India for travel in Mar 2nd 2022, Paris to Chennai Return ticket for myself (PNR Z2V4M) and Paris to Chennai (PNR JYMN1) One-way for my family. But the ticket was never issued. After following up 2-3 days the customer service said the refund will be issued. 10 days later when I called again they said the refund is not raised. So they raise new request (Request#[protected]. From then on, I keep calling them every 2 days to hear that the refund will be processed in 2 days. Its been almost one and half month now. I'm travelling with 2 enfants (4 months old and 2 years old) and still in Paris because I dont have that money to rebook my tickets. I have been patiently waiting for the refund and had a faith that Air India will refund that. It is 102000+ INR which is quite a big amount for me. I have not expected this kind of issue while booking with Air India. I am expecting the very basic thing that is getting my own money refunded, I never thought I have to struggle to get my own money back.

                      P_0006 - Payment has been collected. Sorry, we were not able to ticket your booking due to some technical reasons. We shall mail the tickets to you shortly.

                      I purchased a ticket from Toronto to Lucknow and my credit card was charged without receiving the ticket. Have been on hold for 2+hrs without any resolution. Need the ticket for the flights ASAP, please.

                        I am a senior citizen and been running from pillar to post to get my refund for the flight cancelled by Air India.

                        I booked 5 tickets for myself & my family for a vacation. The booking was done through airindia website on[protected].

                        The date of travel was[protected] from Delhi to Udaipur &[protected] from Udaipur to Delhi, vide Tickets Numbers[protected] to[protected]total of 5 passengers).

                        I received a mail dt.[protected] informing me about cancellation of Flight No.471 dt.[protected] from Delhi to Udaipur.

                        I contacted Air India to check for alternative flight, but was informed that they have only one flight operating on that day. When I requested for the refund I was informed that the complete PNR will be cancelled and the refund amount will be credited to my account with in next 48 hours.

                        Than again I went to the IGIA on[protected] to reconfirm and enquire about my refund, but they said for online bookings they will not be able to help over the counter.

                        After coming back from the Airport, I again contacted your customer care number & again they created the refund task and assured me that the refund will be credited to my account with in next 7 days.

                        I again contacted customer care on[protected], they repeated the same story and again the task for the refund was created and was informed the same thing that it will be credited in next 7 days.

                        I again contacted customer care on[protected], they again repeated the same story and refund task was created one more time and they shared the case ID No. 14557171.

                        I again contacted on[protected], a complaint ID was shared case ID No. 14738989 & was once again assured that I will get the refund in 2 to 3 days.

                        I again contacted on[protected] and was asked to share the feedback form reference Number.which I filled on[protected]. Feedback form reference number is WB-DDEL[protected] dt.[protected]. They once again assred that the refund will positively be credited to my account with in 48 hours.

                        I would request my refund to be released immediatley.

                          Hi, my name is Nalin. On March 2nd 2022 my in-laws were traveling to India from EWR on AI 144 to Ahmedabad. when they went to check in counter Employee name Rita Shah helped them check in when they were handed a boarding pass I notice that she miss spell my mother In law’s name in the boarding pass. she wrote Madhumati instead of Madhuben when I told her she made a mistake she said it’s ok don’t worry they will let you board. but I wasn’t convinced so I told her again that even if they will let her board from here but she will have problems in Mumbai so please change with the correct name and give me a new boarding passes but she didn’t care or listen and kept telling me it’s ok just go. When she tried to board the plane security(TSA) didn’t let her board bcuz she miss spelled her name and insisted that name must be change on the boarding pass. so I went to confront her at the counter to tell her they are not letting her board the plane. At that time not only she didn’t even look at me but she completely ignored me and pretended she was talking to her co worker and grab her belongings and proceed to leave even after calling her couple of times she kept walking leaving my mother in law Vulnerable. So I asked to see a manager or supervisor later I came to know she was the manager. Other employees tried to help but they had limited knowledge on how to correct the name in the boarding pass in the system.it took them over an hour and half to print only boarding pass from EWR to Mumbai & not to Ahmedabad during this time they had to hold the flight causing the flight to be delayed and had to escort her to board the flight. I request you to take Strict disciplinary action against her because of her negligence it cause us great deal of Frustration & Aggravation. This kind of behavior is not acceptable from a manager. It is very shameful that Rita Shah holding the manager position in air India would not understand the risk of traveling with a different name can cause a great deal of problems to a passenger. I am very hopeful that you will take all necessary action against her to Educate the job she performs and making her understand what she did was not acceptable and she need to provide a better customer service. Thank you very much for your kind attention in this matter.

                              Hey

                              I recently travelled from SFO to DEL on AirIndia AI174. This flight was the absolute worst with no cleaning at all, what so ever.

                              Starting from the entrance the plane had a weird smell to it, possibly from the unclean carpet. The seat had no cushion on it and was broken. It kept slipping from under me. It felt like I was sitting on a a slab of wood for 16 hrs.

                              All the handles, chairs and windows had marks and stains like no oke ever cleaned. And don’t even open your table, as soon as you open it there are two holes behind don’t look in them. They were filled with dirt to the top, this was the worst. It’s the place peoples eat food and it’s unacceptable to keep it so dirty.

                              Next comes the utensils for the food, i was so skeptical in eating from those. All tue red cups we get for tea/coffee has water stains or something on it. I got them changed 3 times and all were same and unsanitary.

                              How does the airline even survive? Just on the basis that its a direct flight with 0 care towards sanitization and cleanliness. The irony was the flight attendants were in PPE kit while everything else was as dirty as it can be.

                                I'm ex defense Army officer 81 years of age. My name is Janak Raj Saini I traveled from Melbourne to Delhi on March 17 on AI 308 on business class seat 3D. I had requested for wheelchair for myself. After a long wait, when the wheelchair person named Sharni finally came, she was extremely rude and looking at my hand bag, she said I can't carry that as I'm only allowed seven kilos. She assumed that I was traveling economy and she also assumed that the bag was more than seven kilos. She clearly said she will not be able to carry it. I even offered to keep it on my lap and I was astonished to her what she said next. She said, that will make the wheelchair too heavy to push! There was total disregard that I'm 81 years old. She did not have the basic etiquette and courtesy. Luckily my daughter was traveling with me who carried her bag and my bag with her. I really want you to look into this matter and get the message across to Sharni.

                                  I flew from Delhi to New York( JFK) on March 31st with AI101. The flight was very dirty; three bathrooms were very very dirty. Can’t even use it! The fly attendants were very rude and didn’t resolve the problem at all. When I inform them about the bathroom; one with poop and didn’t flushed, another toilets paper are everywhere no where to step and the third one with floating sink. No way to wash our hands as it completely clogged.
                                  The small screen/tv is not working either. Forget about watching a movie or just looking at the destination, you can’t even turn off the power either. It distributed me a lot to sleep as the screen was on with very bright light with “system error”. When I asked the flight attendant to fix it they said sorry can’t do anything! I had to tape paper and my clothes to cover so then atleast I can sleep. Worst experience. Never ever fly on Air India

                                    I booked my airline tickets online from the Make My Trip agency. The booking id is H8425

                                    They booked my Air India flight tickets. The details filled by me are correct. I filled in my title, first name, and then the last name.

                                    When Air India issued my e-ticket it shows my surname/first name, middle name, and title. I called the customer call service and requested them to remove the title from my name for my tickets are for international travel.
                                    They refused to do so.

                                    I am utterly disappointed with the service provided by Air India.

                                    I would appreciate it if Air India can look into this matter and provide me with some assistance.

                                        First of all, why the need to fill out forms etc. when the flight was canceled by air India. The refund should be done automatically. Secondly, no follow-up/ reverting was done by Air India.
                                        Just promise of getting done in 7 days with no concrete action till now.
                                        A very sad situation.
                                        Please help!
