Hi Team,

I have cancelled my air ticket more than a month before and till date i have not received any refund. I called Air India customer care multiple times and email them multiple times, filled feedback form but nothing worked.

I am eligible for full refund for my tickets since they changed my Delhi to Bhopal ticket. Please look into the matter and do needful.

    Money got deducted but Ticket not generated

    Hello, I booked a flight for myself on 05/03/22 through the official website of Air India for 07/03/22 from DEL-COK flight Number AI465.
    I filled all the required details and went for the payment, after the payment was done it took me to the home page without generating the PNR/flight reference and got a message from the bank stating that the amount INR 9316.00 has been deducted. Please look into this and refund or whatever alternative...

    Hi,
    I have cancelled the ticket for passengers below, kindly issue the refund asap. It has been more than 10 months now. They keep saying that they issued refund but give no information about when and how much amount was refunded. Please provide full information.

      I have been waiting for the refund for the last 2 years for cancelled tickets booked for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids). I have emailed e-commerce email address multiple times over the last 2 years and called the refund office and call centers in order to request for a refund but I haven't received the refund till date. Its $4, 108.94 which is big amount for us.
      I have also filed a complaint for my refund using U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Air India again started putting me into multiple calls and emails without any refund.
      They just created a CASE#10580890 and I never got my refund. Can you please help expedite the return process?

        I bought 2 tickets Delhi-Leh-Delhi more than 2 years ago. I have tried more than 14 months to get refund and I'm still waiting. I sent at least 15 emails to air India and every time they told me that they will send me a refund in 2-3 weeks. They even lied that they already gave me refund, but i went to the bank, get official bank statement and sent it to Air India. After that they admitted that they didn't send me any refund. Every time I get the same mail from Air India - we will send you refund in 2-3 weeks. And it's now more than 14 months and I still haven't receive my money back.

                1. I had called Air India today to update my frequent flyer account. After 30 mins of wait, I spoke to a customer service agent who took all my information and told me that the frequent flyer dept will call me back in 15-30 mins. Its been 5 hours and I have not received any call.

                2. In Feb, I travelled to India and my PNR number is Y8R6J. I wanted to update my tickets and encountered the above problem multiple times. I was told on 3rd Feb to contact Air India after my trip from US to India is complete for return ticket changes and was told that the cost will be minimal. I reached India on 6th and went to Air India office to find out the cost is $700. This caused a lot of trauma and inconvenience to me and my family.

                3. My PNR number "Y8R6J" would not allow me to find my reservation online. Even the Ticket agent would not find my reservation using PNR without asking for more information.

                4. on 4th Feb, Web Check In did not work and when I called air india to do my web check in, they told me their system is not working and I should use web check in.

                5. I am booking new tickets to india and was told that the agent is unable to access my frequent flyer details
                6. Maharaja only answers 6 questions and even for those, tells us to contact customer service for check in or ticket update. I have wasted a lot of time on Maharaja or Watsapp chat only to find out that they are auto bots and can not help with anything.

                The overall experience has been very frustrating and inconvenient and I request for better web options to check in, update tickets or even update the frequent flyer with ticket information.

                  My mother was supposed to travel Delhi to Chicago from Air India but because of covid flights got suspended and she couldn't travel. I request numerous times to Air India to cancel her ticket and refund the amount but they always said that they can't cancel the ticket but I can reschedule the ticket. i requested them that we are not sure about her travel plans because of covid and would like to get her ticket canceled so we can book whenever the situation is better. Now when we want her to travel neither i can reschedule her initial ticket nor I got my refund. I have raised my concern with Air india by sending numerous emails and contacting customer care but no response at all only i get a new case id every time. No one is sure when the refund will be initiated. Please help me in getting the refund.

                    Payment done ticket not received

                    Iam Sneha. Booked ticket on 02 March from Air India website from Dubai to Hyderabad for 05 March with passenger name as Sneha Rukmapuram.

                    I booked tickets for two persons (one is me and 1 infant) from Dubai to Hyderabad on 02 March. I paid AED 325 for two person tickets. The payment is complete and I received the message also but not any tickets or itinerary or PNR number. I used [protected]@ma.iitr.ac.in email address to book...

                    Hi, This is regarding Y2WQ0 PNR - total 8 tickets 4/4 up&dn Bangalore to Kolkata. Flight rescheduled from morning 11 AM to early morning 1 AM around so need to cancel all ticket. AirIndia call centre agent cancelled only over the phone and mentioned entire amount will be refunded. But after several followup, only 7K+ refunded out of 29K+
                    Pls refund rest of the amount.

                      Hello,

                      1. This email is regarding multiple bookings that happened while booking a ticket through air india website 24 Dec 21 for Mrs Sashi . Where in, while booking a ticket from Mumbai to Hyderbad on 26 th Dec 21, the booking process abruptly stopped after the payment had been done and thus money was deducted from my account INR 5104/. However no booking confirmation was received either on the website which showed a failure page without any option to reset not by email or msg on the phone no given for booking. PNR was not know or received. I took it that, money although has been deducted will be refunded within 24-48 hrs.

                      2. Thus I initiated another booking immediately after 15-20 mins and received a PNR - J0TQF on successful completion of the booking.

                      3. However on travel day i got a call from air india after my wife had boarded her flight asking her location and we were informed that there exist another booking in her name. PNR was J0TYS. Now i request immediate refund of that amount since Air India is responsible for this interruption in the booking process, not sending PNR or booking confirmation either by email or msg.

                      4. I would also like to state that i tried reaching out to customer care without avail since it takes no less than 30-40 mins to reach out to an executive only to be turned down. Your booking process is itself a nightmare considering the no of times it asks a customer to acknowledge the He/she is not a robot. Considering the brand of Nation carrier and new management please do some justice to your travelers.

                        I purchased a round-trip flight ticket on Air India for travel from San Franciso to Delhi for $2930. I requested for a return date change [free due to covid] to March 30 from the original date April 9. The agent changed it to 03/18/21 [almost the same date of me calling]. I received the ticket so late for me to realize they changed it to 03/18 instead of 03/30. I called them several times but no response because it is not possible to fly immediately. Just a few hours before the flight time, air india changed it back to the requested date of 03/30. However, they charged me 2 change fees $300.75 and $100.75 for change within 24 hours and no-show fees. Though I contacted them multiple times, no response. I disputed with the bank [bank of america], they are not able to help either as they entered wrong claim code in the system and won't be able to correct it. As a result, I'm unnecessarily charged $402 for Air India's error. Refund my $402.

                        I have completed the feedback. Also, made several complaints to Government agencies.

                        It has been 8 months and still you have not provided refund. The complaint has been fwd to the department of transportation and other government agencies. If you process the refund of $401 immediately, I will resolve the issue. Otherwise, I will claim damages and additional charge.

                          This is to inform you that Air India is not refunding my money after several requests through email & phone call.
                          I cancelled Air India ticket from Kolkata to Abu Dhabi via Bengaluru on 12th of December 2021 due to unavoidable reasons and also filled the feedback form as required for refund by Air India on the same date. Details given below:

                            I had registered a request for RESET PASSWD on 23rd Feb 2022 at flyingreturn.[protected]@airindia.in. Thereafter spoke to Customer care Many times. I have also been forwarding mails to and; [protected]@airindiaexpress.in on A DAILY BASIS. Twice I hv forwarded my self attested copy of passport.
                            Apart from getting reassurance from Deepak Kumar, AI Member Service Centre, my issue of RESET PASSWD has NOT been resolved. I got My Case no. 14340213 on 26/2 at 11.33 am after much persuasion, otherwise Customer care were not willing to give. kindly get the issue resolved ASAP

                              It's been 3 months I am waiting for my refund from Air India but neither they have replied nor they have taken any actions. I booked a round trip from Chicago to Delhi on the day we had a flight we couldn’t show up to Chicago because of the delay of our connecting flights to Chicago. We immediately called the Air India customer care to cancel our flight and the representative suggested not to cancel the tickets and assured us that we can take the returning flight of Air India from Delhi to Chicago. While taking the flight from Delhi Air India said that we cannot fly because we didn’t show up on the first trip. We told them that customer care of Air India said not to cancel the whole ticket and without cancellation, we will be allowed to take the returning flight from Delhi to Chicago but they didn’t agree. And we had to book another flight. This matter needs to be escalated. Customer care representatives have recordings of each and every conversation. I need my refund because we had been looted by Air India. This is not Ethical to misguide a customer. The customer care service says something and the ground people working for Air India says something.

                                    I was one of the travellers in AI188 Toronto to Delhi which reached Delhi on 7th February, 2022. The airplane AI188 never picked our baggage from Toronto and because of this issue once we reached Delhi all of the travellers had to wait for about 2-3 hour to receive their receipts or complaint document which had our bag tag and all of the other info where we were assured we would receive our baggage without any complications soon. It has been almost 20 days and I have not received any reply from Air India about my emails or my calls. I had to go to my nearest airport daily for the last few weeks to check if my bags had come. I have only received one of my bags and one of them is still missing and there is no clue where it is and now I am planning to go back to Canada in about 1-2 weeks and there is nothing I can do to get my last bag. Please resolve this issue.
