Dear Official, As on August-13 i bought a camera at Reliance Digital showroom here in chennai via Bajaj Finserv Limited, At the time of filling the form, i asked the executive to make the EMI date to be 8th of every month he said ok and asked me to sign on a couple of pages. After i bought the product i came to know the EMI date is 2nd and not 8th. In this regards i emailed/spoke with bajaj finserv several times telling them that i was not told that the EMI date is 2nd of everymonth, The representative with bajaj finserv were rude and were not co operative at all. I insisted them several times that i was bajaj finserv's executive's fault due to i am being cheated, There are kept on saying they cannot do anything. The first EMI was on September, As on 22nd august i sent the below email [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][pr... Dear Bajaj finance, When i purchased the camer with the loan#4030CD00271773 i was told that the emi due date would be 8th of every month, However when i chekced online it shows my due date as 2nd of every month. Please note my salary gets credited only as on 5th of every month, Hence please change my due date to 8th of every month immediately. Only then my bank account will have sufficient balance for your EMI. If you fail to do this then i am not responsible for payment delay. Hope you would clear this before september-13. Please email me back and let me know the status ASAP. Thanks [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][pr... As on 5th September the first EMI was deducted, hence i thought for october also the EMI is gonig to be deducted only as on 5th, However as on 3rd of this month they have debited my account and due to no balance the cheque has bounced, i called bajaj finserv and complained that it was due to their fault that my checque has bounced as well as my cibil score is affected, they simply disconnected the call and went off, even with email they are saying they cannot change the date. Hence i am here to get some help from you. Kindly take necessary action. Thank you in Advance Mohideen

              Address: Bangalore, Karnataka

Recently I purchased a LG LED television from Tata croma, JP Nagar, Bangalore. The TV was worth 28,000 for which I made a downpayment of Rs.8,000 and the balance of Rs.20,000 was taken as a loan from BFL. However, when I received my login id and pw from BFL to access customer portal (experia), to my surprise the loan amount was shown as Rs.28,000 and EMI as Rs.2,334 instead of Rs.20,000 and EMI Rs.1,667 respectively. BFL did charge my account directly with the wrong EMI. In the interim, I have sent many communications to BFL via customer portal regarding this mistake but no response. The only was left for me was to hold the second instalment so that BFL would reach me for collection and that's when I could get the issue resolved. As planned BFL executives started reaching me on mobile and at my residence for collection. None of them were having any clue on the transactions and they were only concerned about collecting the instalment. In turn, I was advised by them that I should contact their branch here in Bangalore if I want to get the issue resolved though they have goofed-up. I pity the organization. Recently I walked into the CROMA shownroom where the purchase and loan transaction was made and met Mr.Gopi who was very adamant to say that BFL numbers was accurate. I was forced to explain Gopi as if I was explaining a primary school kid on numbers. Gopi's debate was that the initial downpayment of Rs.8,000 was adjusted towards advance EMI. It was sounding so illogical since 8,000 was not summing upto any number of EMIs. Finally after a prolonged debate, Gopi did raise a request on their official portal for a change in loan amount and EMI details. Its been 3 days and I haven't heard yet from BFL. I have logged onto the customer portal at 11:45 AM today to take a snapshot of the contents which is attached. BFL may make a change on the portal since they own and manage it. SOA (statement of account) shows that BFL has charged Rs.350 towards bouncing charges. From my point of view, holding the payment was the only way left since they weren't responding to calls or communications. Charging an EMI more than the due amount is illegal and BFL has already done it in my first instalment. My concern now is that - 1. BFL has to refund the excess EMI charged in first instalment. 2. BFL has to reverse the Rs.350 debited towards bounce charges. 3. BFL has to ensure that this falsified transaction will not happen in future with any of their customers. 4. Most important is that the bouncing has caused me reputational/credential damage to me and I demand BFL to compensate accordingly at the earliest. 5. BFL has to take responsibility, mention their mistake with CIBIL and ensure it is not impacting my credibility. 6. I demand BFL an apology letter detailing the erroneous transaction since that would be a base document for me to suffice the bounce transaction in my bank statement. I'm reachable on [protected] if you need any further information or details. Regards, Raghunath

I'm still waiting for an explanation and an apology from BFL for the blunder they have done and the pain they have given to me by calling me and visiting my residence for undue reasons. I strongly demand BFL to compensate me for all the pains they have given and the agony they have caused to me and my family members. Hope the forum agrees to this.
Wanted to keep the forum posted on some pathetic and painful experiences I have had with the Bajaj Fin Serv guys from last one week. Even after a detailed and repeated explanation to these employoees of BFL (BFL Bangalore) Gopi and Prashanth[protected] who agrees that its a mistake from BFL side, I still keep receiving calls from Venkatesh, Punith ([protected]) and infact Punith and Rudresh did visit my residence multiple times demanding for the returned instalment to be paid immediately. The correction request raised by Gopi in their BFL systems is yet to be reflected in the consumer portal (experia). Horrible part is that neither of them do carry a valid identity card or a authorisation letter from BFL. This approach and visits of the collection team on a sunday evening at my residence has become a nightmare to me and has been causing immense panic to my family members. Rudresh represents somy collection agency S R Associates and when identifiation is demanded, he displays the ID card issued by ICICI Bank Ltd and says that he is also authorised by BFL. Its so sad that one person represents multiple reputed organisations and doesn't even understand the importance of identification. Though the issue is being discussed many times with Gopi and Prasanth, they are unable to and failing to convey the messge to their collections departments. Due to the internal disconnectivity between BFL departments they are expecting the customer to take the pain answering them every often. Today eveining I have spoken to Mr. Syed (Collection in-charge of BFL as said by himself) and have explained the whole story of blunder BFL has done and the pain they have caused me.

What surprises me is that the correction which is pending from BFL is not the priority for them but the wrong instalment they are charging me has become more important to be collected. Not sure how to and whom to approach to get this issue resolved. I request the representatives of this forum to please guide me at the earliest.

Mr. Anirudh from Tata Croma has been kind enough to keep the communication between us going and has been availble at all times to listen to me and it also appears that he has taken necessary steps from his end to resolve this issue. Today he has promised that he will be escalating this issue to next levels above Prashanth with in BFL.
I have sent a mail to Mr.Syed (In-charge of Recoveries) in this regard and awaiting a response from him before EOD today.

              Hello Syed,

Hope you have received my previous mail and you are looking into it. In the interim, can you advise your relevant departments not to send the debit advice due on 2nd October 2013? Since the issue yet to be resolved from your end, Im sure that BFL is aware of not sending the debit instruction to my bankers till necesary changes are made at your end. Sending debit instructions for collection of instalment from my account will result in bouncing and again I don't want to receive unnecessary calls or executies visiting my place for its collection and bothering me and my family members.

I'm expecting a response from you by EOD today that you have received and read my mails and looking into it.

              Regards,
One more update. Bajaj Finance has again proved that they are not doing genuine business. They have drawn excess amount from my account even without my consent. It appears they are into this cheating their business and prospering. Maybe this is the reason they ask for a cancelled cheque which don't have any amount specified and draw amounts from their customers accounts as much as they want and any time they want. Don't we customers have a voice to speak about this? Can I expect some pressure form this consumer forum on Bajaj Finance?
You problem is so much similar to me. Hope it solves soon
              One more update.

Now my cusomer portal (experia) shows 2 loan accounts and both are active. God save BFL. Not sure being such a reputed organization why they are so negligent of their customers. I only have one loan with BFL. I don't know how many other customers like me are there in this country who are suffering because of the mistakes done by BFL. Having one loan account has caused such a immense problem for me and now I see two loan accounts. Not sure how many recovery agents I have to face now. Pathetic. Screenshot attached for reference.
The response after me posting my complaint on this site was marvellous. However, I still keep receiving calls from their executives asking for repayment of wrong EMI which I don't owe them. Also, as said earlier, now I find 2 loan accounts on my experia portal of BFL. Is this how BFL cheats their customers? first they say its a 0% loan and later they do these cheap tricks to make money from their customers. I feel pity on this company.

On a different note can I request this forum to put pressure on BFL to resolve my issue please?

Tata Croma, J P Nagar Branch, Bangalore were courteous earlier but now it appears that evey they have slowed down and seems that they are not trying to fix the issue. Maybe they are ok to loose customers cause I have started spreading this experience of mine on all the social networks with evidence and bringing an awareness with the people who live around J P Nagar and Jayanagar about my incident. Many of my friends and family have come forward and are canvassing on this issue which involves both BFL and Tata Croma. With this it appears the other competitors like Reliance digital, adishwars and others are better place in resolving customer issues than Tata Croma. Not sure why they have stopped probing this issue any further. Is it that they are benefited with these kind of issues? Im sure Tata Croma is very ethical still.
Is Croma and BFL looking into this complaint I have raised? Will not Croma take any moral responsibility to fix their customers issues caused because of their tie-up with BFL? If this is the attitute of Croma towards their customers, I'm sure customers will stop visiting you some day. I'm sure Croma understands that just sale is not the only important criteria but providing post sales services is more important. Some times I feel its a trap set to customers by giving offers and then introducing customers to BFL for loans who make illegal money and part it with their partners...Request CROMA to prove this perception wrong...

Dear All I'd like to let you know that I have a consumer durable loan a/c no. 4040CD00443844 with bajaj finance ltd., which i have closed with an outstanding amount of Rs 13328. The irony is I am asking for the NOC from their end regarding the closure of loan, no response / no communication has so far been made from their end. While calling them, a voice message says that," there is no customer care representative assigned to my Mobile no." I am not sure what exactly would be the mode of communication needs to be made with them. Please advise. Mrityunjoy [protected]

I have not applied for any loan from Bajaj Finserv lending, nor have i received any documents of the loan nor any amount. However, I keep on getting SMSs stating user ID and password and EMI details. When i try that user id to find what it is, it never worked. I thought it as some technical glitch, but today I received a collection call. This is pure harrasment. I tried calling on the customer care number provided in Sms,on website and the number provided by the collection agent. None of the numbers provide me any information, customer service representative does not come over the call. Loan account number told to me is 5800cd00057752. Close this account and send me an NOC ASAP
got a call today and email explanation too. this is sorted. thanks

It looks like Bajaj finance (bajaj finserve) are looking at customers these days as if it is the 70s era. I had purchased 3-4 A/C's 4 years back from Vijay Sales, Mumbai. On their persistence, we purchased them on finance through Bajaj Finserve on a 1 year loan. But after 15 days of it, the call centre of Bajaj finance started calling me continuously for making payments even though the payment was done for that month. After getting frustrated by this service, i decided to make the full payment to them within the third month. Now for the last one month, after 4 years, the call centres of Baja have started calling me asking me to pay a penalty of Rs 9000 approx (The loan amount was around 40-45k). On asking to send the statement for the same, they refuse to send it on mail saying that: 1) Even if they send the mail, i would not be making the payment so they would not mail us since it puts more pressure on them from their respective managers. 2) They did not transfer the call to their manager at my continous insistence. 3) They say for knowing the details i have to go to their branch to know the details. 4) Until we dont make the payment they will continue calling to harass us. This is a slap to anyone who says that customer is the king today. P.S. if anyone knows how to make a consumer complaint online, kindly help me with the link of the same.

                            Dear All,
I have taken a LED costing Rs.27,790 on 18 months tenure, for which i paid a down payment of Rs 9,264 (i.e 6 months EMI in advance). While filling application form the executive told me only to sign on the form and they will fill rest of the form.

Now after paying 10 More EMI's I logged in into Bajaj finserv lending website to check my account details and i gone through the document i signed and saw a Promissory Note on the Loan Term Sheet which is attached below that I have accepted to pay Rs.30000 to Bajaj Finserv Lending which I have never undersigned. I was never told about this thing.

Why should I pay Rs.2010 extra to BFL??????????????
I m not told about any insurance policy, any interest rate, nor any hidden charges while receiving the product.

I would like to ask the BFL team to clear the issue or else the whole team will come into problem under Indian Penal Code section 420, 463,464,470 etc

I am an old customer and hold an emi card as well.It was always a good experience until this last product i bought through bajaj finserve. my online account, product form etc eveything shows correct bank account number through which emi was suppose to get deducted. However, since first month of the emi bajaj has been sending to incorrect bank account and troubles me again and again by calling to make emi payments which i have been doing since then. have requested many times to update correct bank account details but they want me to run around to their office branches. every month they are charging me additional charges and i am sure my cibil rating is also going down b'cos of their fault. i did check with the showroom too about bank details and they also have correct bank account details but due to bajaj mistake its been going to wrong bank account. every month i try and log in to bajaj portal to make payment before the due date but it doesn't allow me until they send me a link. now just two emi's are left and its still not be rectified. they just have a standard answer to visit branch and do fresh formalities..pathetic team and harassment. i want all my monthly additional charges back to me with my clear cibil rating else i will take this higher up

                                    Dear Sir / Madam,

I have taken cross sell loan from bajaj finance and I pay EMI monthwise regularly. I made an agreement with bajaj finance that I will pay the amount through ECS every 5th of the month on the basis of my salary. But all of a sudden, my salary date has been changed and it is paid irregularly means the date is not fixed due to which i cant pay through ECS. I had a call from Bajaj finance last 9 months back and i told them my problem and requested them to stop ECS and I will pay in cash every month. I also asked them if i have to do anything to stop ECS. They told me that they will look into this matter and will stop my ECS payment. Alternatively they will send their executives to collect payment through cash at my home. From that day onwards they are sending their persons to my place to collect the paymant. Unfortunately yesterday i.e. 7.8.13 I thought to look after my statement. I saw that consequitive 9 months bounce charges of rs. 350/- has been charged in my account. I am paying my instalment regularly through cash in the name of Bajaj Finance Ltd. I also asked them how much I have to pay to close my account. They told me that I have to pay 38,986 including bounce charges. Although i have paid more than 28000/-, i am not be able to understand how could they charge such an amount. Is this my fault????My loan account no. is 4100PL00268940 and my amount sanctioned was 46000/- from which 42000/- have been disbursed. I have no option because i cant pay so much. When i am paying regularly without any defaulter why should i pay so much? I would request you to help me in this matter and i should have proper clarification as why they have done such a blundered to me.

Would appreciate to have your quick response in this regard.

I had a very bad experience from Bajaj Fin Serv Lending. Unfortunately, I have taken a loan for consumer durable from them. They have very happily linked another loan, which was never taken by me, to my account and started calling me to pay the dues. I sent communication with this regard to grievance cell and they never respond. I did not find such an irresponsive grievance cell in my life. I still got calls and SMSes with regards to this and harassment. Finally in June 2013, they responded with apologies stating that this was a technical inadvertent error from their side and I won’t get any calls. Interestingly, I still got calls. In July, they went into an extent that someone calls from Delhi Police and say I am filing an FIR because I did not respond to couple of Delhi court notices, which I never received (I am sure they were never sent). Upon follow up again, finally, they send me NOC for a loan which I have never taken.

Please be aware of these cheap tricks this company plays and be very careful while taking a loan.
