I purchased one FUJIFILM Camera – S2950 From M/s RAIPUR ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. of 257, Chittaranjan Avenue, Kolkata 700 006, Invoice GP/1233/12-13 (Sales Person: SOMA) on 5th June 2012 for Rs.9,999.00 inclusive of 13.50% Vat and made a Cash Payment of Rs.3,500.00 leaving a balance due of Rs.6,229.00 finance made by M/S BAJAJ FINANCE LTD, KOLKATA. EMI per month already scheduled on Rs 834 *8 months (Bajaj Finserve loan account No: 4100CD00299191 and 410BAL[protected] through United Bank of India ECS facility A/C No[protected] savings account holder name Chandrima Chatterjee.
But It was surprised me that Bajaj Finserve lending deducted Rs 1000/- through ECS from my savings bank account. When I wanted to know from the Bajaj Finserv Lending executive about the said rate of payment of Rs.1000/- instead of EMI of Rs.834/- they informed me that an Insurance Policy has been issued in my name which has caused shock and surprise to me. I have neither been given any such Insurance Policy nor any document nor Agreement relating to such insurance. Thereafter, on enquiry over the telephone, Kolkata Branch office of Bajaj Finserv Lending told that they are sending their money collector to collect the EMI @ R.834/- instead of Rs.1000/-. The person who sanctioned the loan towards the purchase of the Camera, asked to me to pay two EMI at the rate of Rs.1000/- and thereafter the said Insurance will be stopped and the balance amount out of the said two premiums of Rs.1000/ each, would be adjusted against the last EMI payment or the balance after adjustment will be sent to my bank account. Since then, EMI installments @ of Rs.834/- were being collected from my home instead of Bank Account.
Though my installment payments have been cleared of[censored]pto the month of February 2013 it is very much surprising that a penalty amounting approximately Rs.4000/- has been imposed on me which fact I came to know from one or your Kolkata office personnel.
Subsequently, on July 29, 2013 I was informed by one Mr. A. K. Sharma, Advocate of Delhi (M- [protected]) informing that a court case has been, or is going to be, instituted at Delhi Court against me for realization of the penalty and also whether I will proceed with the case or settle the matter by paying the penalty amount out of court and Since July 29, 2013 I am receiving telephone one after another and till today repeatedly at 12.28 P.M, 12.31 P.M. and 12.37 P.M. from one Kanika Rawat of Delhi Court Information Centre (M [protected]) with threat that if a sum of Rs.4,000/- (approx) is not paid within one hour by today (31/07/2013), then legal proceeding will be instituted against me and in that event a fine of Rs.15,000/- will be imposed on me and the said sum of Rs.3,900/- should be deposited in the Bank Account of Shri Subhendu Kumr Mahapatra, Account No. being [protected] SBI IRC Villge, Name Subhendu Kumar Mahapatra, IFSC- SBIN0007045
