        BSNL — Unwanted Backup Service

        Unwanted Phone Backup

        I have never wanted or opted for BSNL back up service. It seems that by means of any undesirable call BSNL has activated the service without my knowledge.

        I am being charged Rs 30.00 every month. Deactivation mode is not suggested anywhere on the BSNL site. It proves the BSNL has chated me by unwanted activation.

        I want to registed my complaint on Consumer Forum.

          Sir, I have BSNL landline 044 - 27934971. The broadband connection is not working . I complained on 26.9.2011 and the docket no. given was 59131754. It was not attended to. BSNL official enquired the problem over phone and we said that the modum on off button is not working. They said that we have to go to the Telephone Exchange at Minjur and get it changed. It is 4 KMs for us and we both are not able to go, as we are aged. So, we requested them to send a line man and change it. There was no action. Again I complained on 30.9.2011 and the docket no. was 59132021. No action was taken. Again I have complained on 9.11.2011 and the docket no. is 59134417. There was enquiry about the defect. This was informed. At least this time I request BSNL to be responsive and send a person to change the modum. I am paying the broadband charges every month. Urgent pl. How the previous two dockets were closed without setting right the grievance is not known to me. What is the purpose of giving docket nos. if they are to be closed without attending to the problem and getting reply from customer about satisfactory working. I need enlightenment.

            Regular disruption in internet connectivity. Eeven after complaing twice no one from bsnl took action. Blunt answers will be given, If we call any number mentioned in bill. After 5:30 and in weekends no one answers
            call. It is not worth paying 820 Rs every month for such worst service.

              Above telephone & Broad band connection is not working since 23.01.2013. Even after repeated requested this has not been attended. The cable connection was broke by the sewerage work contractor while laying the pipe line. In last 12 days technicians came twice, see it went back no progress has made so far. Therefore requested to kindly arrange to attend on priority.

                My landline phone :[protected] is dead since from[protected] and the complaint has been logged with the firm on[protected] under the docket No:0771. The complaint is not attended till today. The frequent follow ups with concerned Divisional Enginner do not fruitful and most ofthe times no one is available to attend when i tried to contact Area manager and General Manager. Totally I feel it is negligience & attitude problem towards customer satisfaction, beacause to attend the complaint it should not take more than a week in worst condition.
                I hope atleast now the authorised people will awake from their deep sleep and satisfy the customers like me who are facing one or the onother problem with regard to servive in this telecommunication line.

                BSNL Bangalore — Telephone Dead since 25 Oct 2007

                Sir,

                The telephone :[protected] allotted to my father, B L Manohar is dead since 25 Oct 2007. Docket number for the complaint lodged at Kengeri Satellite Town, Bangalore on 25 Oct 2007 is 1007/417.

                Every blame on the telephone not working is credited to BWSSB, who knocked out the underground telephone cables while laying Cauvery Pipleline.

                So, the problem is outdoor and needs to be rectified urgently.

                Our telephone number[protected]allotted to my father) is dead since 25 Oct 2007 and complaint was lodged on the same day at 1600 hrs. So far nothing has been done by BSNL - Kengeri Satellite Town telecom office.

                The underground telephone cables were knocked out by BWSSB to lay Cauvery pipelines.
                The docket number for the above complaint lodged on 25 Oct 2007 is : 1007/417
                How to remove secret code we forgot the no? Now we can't make std calls plz advise.

                  One or two times they replace the reciever but this same issue exist.

                    Past two months after evening our link goes down, everyday we need to contact customer care and book a complient, after this the BSNL peopel calling us and taking the same status and once we give the status simply they kept the phone, in a next day again we need to contact customer care, after this we tried to talk with Rajajinagar exchange incharge Lakshmi regarding the same issue, but from her also no result, we fed of the service from BSNL, bcz after evening we can't do anything, i hope you got our problem and please try to resolve this problem ASAP,

                        May times I have did complains, even I went to BSNL office personally and meet with senior managers still its not working.

                        I am really facing problem because of this, My business is totally depend over phone and its highly impacted by this .Request you to please take necessary action and give wavier of landline bills too and compensation against the harassment

                                I m using BSNL gprs plan 89 for one and half years. I was satisfied with its decent downloading speed of around 10 KB/s and page loading speed when connected to my pc. I had connected to Internet for 8 hours continuously without any disconnection problem. But things gone worse for the past 4 months and the current downloading speed is only around 2 KB/s. Also it is very hard to load a page in my pc and connection lost in almost every minute. Things are same while browsing though my mobile. My friends also have the same problem. I think paying Rs.89 to BSNL every month is useless and planning to change to another network in 2012 January if the problem persists....hope the problem will be solved and BSNL will provide a quality service to its loyal customers......

                                I'am using BSNL Agri plan postpaid connection,as per plan 1gb browsing free per month. But this service till not activated on my number i fill up form before 20 days but till not available this service on my mobile. So do needful for my complaint.

                                  i cannot send more than 100 sms per day as the new rule limits sms only to 200.
                                  Yes, I also cannot send more than 100 sms a day, not even to customer services.
                                  BSNL sms plans are also too costly. Everyone else are providing 6000 sms a month for as low as Rs 40 and here we have to pay Rs 53 for 3000 sms. Tata docomo has a plan for Rs 28 at the same time. And BSNL cry foul when people migrate to other operators. You guys need to come up with better offers to retain your customer base.

                                    Hi,

                                    I have a BSNL Prepaid Connection with No. [protected]

                                    I was having a Special Apple Ipad 3G monthly plan of Rs.999 with Unlimited Downloads

                                    This month when it expired in as usual went to their online recharge website portal.bsnl.com

                                    But this time i did not saw the Ipad plan there, so i called BSNL helpdesk and they told me that

                                    My unlimited plan is stopped by bsnl and hence i have to choose from either of the available from list.

                                    I selected STV-500 Plan of Rs.500. Recharge went successful(date[protected],

                                    But my internet connected wasn't restored.

                                    when i called helpdesk again, they said that.

                                    i did wrong recharge and hence amount is lapsed. and refused to

                                    transfer that amount to my bsnl account or refund.

                                    This is a trap by bsnl ! they were not clear with the plan details and their impacts.

                                    Still threw me into this situation and now refusing to give me service.

                                    I did the next recharge of 1260 with correctly and still the same story.

                                    but today by at least i see the refund initiated status of that amount.(1260)

                                    But my Rs. 500 story is still same.

                                    Please Help.

                                      Our BSNL telephone, with number[protected], a land line on my fathers name Mr K GANGADHARAN, A.KILIYANUR, KOLLOUMANGUDI EXCHANGE, IN THIRUVARUR DISTRICT, has not been working for more than one year. repeated complaints did not solve the problem. We requested for disconnection and refund of deposit. bsnl is not even answering and we also face abusive staff in the exchange. my father who is very old is living alone after my mother passing away and we are very much worried, because he has problem in using cell phones. can somebody help us.

                                        I was using a BSNL landline[protected]for more than 15 years, now i have shifted to my new home near by, I have made a request for shifting in BSNL(saibaba colony)office before 2 months but still nothing was done & when enquired them the responsiple person Mr.Duraisamy P (JE or SDE), the particular person was very casual & doesnt even has courtesy to say to sit & treated us so badly, he has asked us to cancel the line.He doesnt know what the solution is & asked to take a new connection.Because of these kind o[censored]seless persons BSNL is getting bad name in the society.

                                        Sir,

                                        Recently we shifted from Ejipura to Ejipura Main Road. On July16th We applied the Phone (No.[protected]shifting but upto date there is no response from the BSNL dept. When we reach NGF office they told AE will contact when we called AE he is not responding. One month is already over.
                                        Now spending extra hours in office only because of Broadband is not available in Home.
