I am a residence of Indiranagar, my telephone number is 25272066. I had requested for a change of instrument on the 27th of october till date none of the people in the department has ever responded back to me till date. I had personally visted the BSNL indiranagar Telephone exchange 3 times, every time I go there the only answer I get isthat the problem might get fixed next week, this has been happening ever since the day I submitted the request. I had also complained to 1500 regarding the same issue but the lady speaks very rudely and hangs the phone.

Sub: fault repairing of broad band


Dear Sir,

We are a leading Calcutta based Hardware & Networking training Institute since 10 years. We have various global courses for which broadband are essential part of our training. But from 28th May, 2008 we can not use the broad band against our phone no. 24246116 because the ADSL Modem Link is not coming. We did several dockets D No. Q8004 on 28/05/08, D No. Q9734 on 30/05/08, D No. T9858 on 07/06/08, D No. 17704 CRS on 07/06/08, D No. F3419 on 20/06/08 but still now the problem remains same. After requesting almost hundred times to several person related with this service nobody helps us properly to get back our service. Not only that after asking to repair this fault somebody says we do only external job this is internal fault, please go to internal division. After contacting internal division they says this is external fault, talk with external division. And the behavior of your officials is so bad, so rude we can’t believe that in this service oriented industries how can you behave like this with your customer. It is ridiculous that SDO of zone 11 Mr. Ghosh (Ranikuthi)said straight away that “I can not do any thing”. We had 5 BSNL phone connections and already we withdraw few connections for this kind your bad service. We are now suffering with financial losses for your bad service. The classes already stopped from 28th May. Students are becoming arrogant because we can not continue their classes. Now we can understand we have no way to go consumer court. Please advise us what we should do

Actually it is not a Broadband connection, it is a broadba(n)d connection or Fraudband connection, because we met somany problems and disturbances in our broadband connection. From 30th September our broadband connection network failure. On 3rd October I register my complaint in BSNL, Salem in computerised automatic complaint centre, BSNL. Due to Ramzan, Gandhi jayanthi holidays I made the complaint only after 3 three days. but still there is no response from BSNL. I found the problem also ( i.e. the connection failure due to ADSL not linked properly) and I informed this problem to BSNL also. I made my complaints on 5th october, 6th october, 7th october and 9th october and Today (13th october), but there is no response from them. The private telephone, network companies (Airtel, Reliance) are doing best services to their customers, but the Govt organisation particularly BSNL broadband service is very worst. I met this problems so many times. I had Airtel internet connection for my office last year. There service and their response to their customers was very excellent. Plese suggest me what can I do for that?

I have no connections from Friday 23 Jan 2009 in my broadband connection. Today 26 January 2009. When I complain to customer care they said bsnl have different holidays going on. Don’t you think Tele-service is Emergency service? Even no actions in Saturday. which was a working day.

For me internet is very required. But I have to lose money just because I have bsnl connection, where a privet internet provider works any day. I know this mail have no works for you, but I am starting submit my problems to different blogs. May be after see my problem some people will aware before take your connection and customer care service.

I have launched a complaint about broadband at Koothanallur BSNL office for which they sent the technician after 3 weeks in spite of repeated calls. After Technicians and Engineers took 2 weeks time to rectify the fault but the job has not been completed. Still I am getting only one line either telephone or internet.But I am paying money for both service.
The Engineers and Technicians are not giving correct information and spending long time with the reply that we are testing in our office. By saying this they spend a month. Still the fault is not rectified.
BSNL authorities should take action to return the rental charges for the last month since I am getting only one service.

I haw BSNL broadband connection .internet speed is very very slow i cant work any thing .
But your staff (ayyampet, thanjavur (d.t) every time vist tha tha phone line cheking .after his telling working now. thats tha time only working .next day not work .again his come and do tha work .it comeing normel tha connection .you know every time BSN line man asking Rs:100/-. what it goning on BSNL managment.pls take acction .thankyou.
Sir/Madam,

I am residing in Shivananda Nagar (Vimananapura Area) under BSNL Indira nagar exchange in Bangalore. My telephone line[protected] is dead (and thus is broadband connection) for more than 2 months!! This issue with more than 20 connections in this area. I have the additional issue that my wife's work is entirely dependent on the broadband connection as she is working from home.

Apart from online complaint booked thru the fault booking system, I have been visiting the Indira Nagar exchange and met many officials there including Mr. Revanna Siddhiah, Mr. Narasimha who are the people responsible for this area. Everytime Mr Revanaa says, it will be fixed in 2-3 days but nothing happened till now. Finally I met the GM for network operations Mr. Babimaran who in a supposedly professional way told me he will look into the matter within 30th June 2012. Till now nothing has happened.

Those guys in the Indiranagar Exchange are telling me that a Tie cable is broken in this area following a BBMP work!!!. I agree that BBMP should have been more responsible and sensible before doing such work. They should have ideally discussed with BSNL and any other organization which might have infrastructure built underneath so as to minimize damage. But whatever damage done is done; why not BSNL fix this issue rather saying lame excuses!!! Why should a customer worry about Tie cable or whatever cable is there.!!

Kindly take steps to address this issue at the earliest, and avoid loosing a number of customers!!!

Note: If you try calling this number[protected], it will seem like ringing (there is no problem in the exchange), but the signals does not reach the desired place (my home), due to broken cable.

      my pco phone no +[protected] is dead from 31st day of octber 2007. i registered my complain to the authority through the computerised complain service on 1st day of november 2007 and they provide me a coplain registered no is 15224.
      but still now my phone is dead. so plz suggest me wht can i do now, it hampered me in my business.

        The culprit has been using his domestic broadband connection for his cyber cafe named COMPUTECH at 66/R F.D.road Mallickpara,Serampore,Dist-Hooghly,State-West Bengal.He's paying his bills accroding to the domestic bills.The authority has been informed but to no avail.He doesnt have a nessesary permission.He's making huge profits by cheating BSNL where as other BSNL customers are paying huge billd every month and suffering huge loses.

        Shall the authority take an action or shall we talk to mass media?

        hello every one i have taken connection from bsnl hyderabad charminar i heard bsnl is a good service provider well may be bsnl is good but surely people are rude, dont offer help for sure, lots of courroption i have to pay them money cause they gave connection of 100 mts i dont know why this people are so greedy . its one week know but there is no broad band connection when i called them they are saying it will take 2 days more every time i cantact them they say the same thing if this continues i dont think that bsnl can keep its name it will be a big isp but without satisfied clients/customers so bsnl people pls improve.

          i am lijan mathew. i live in USA .whenever i tried to call to my house land line.its always dead.300 days in a year its dead.my dad always complaint regarding this issue to the local office .no action taken so far.even we complainted to GM of telephone bhavan ,thiruvalla, kerala--no use.

            I am using sancharnet.in. I am renewal my account (PSTN-50H-REGULAR) on 10 Jan 2007 after 1-2 month i cannot login my account, because my ID and Password does not match. But i can succefull login in administrative panel and change all password, after this step i cannot login in my web account (E-mail Login Page) there is same message again (ID and Password does not match). I am submit complaint many time from web feedback form and also sent e-mail at [protected]@sancharnet.in, [protected]@bsnl.co.in, [protected]@sancharnet.in but there is no response.

              My name is v.suresh kumar and iam sending this complaint regarding the not working of the BSNL broad band services at my home for last 4 weeks and the telephone is on my fathers name and even after complaining there is no response from the BSNL and they are so careless and not at all bothered to attend the complaint and every month the same thing happens and even inspite of complaining about this many time nothing is been still done and without any services provided iam unnecessarily palying the bills everymonth so if this is going to complaint i would have to go to the consumer court regarding this problem so kindly do something about this befor the matter gets deteriorated.

              You can try their Support No. (Toll free[protected] which's quite useful in such matter. When you lodge a complaint, you'll get a complaint no. If the issue is not resolved within couple of days you can take that complaint no. & go to the Exchange for authoritative enquiry.

              My name is Prashant Hegde and iam complaining regarding improper working of the BSNL broad band and my telephone at my home since last one month. I have complained regarding this, when I complain one person from BSNL called me up and asks me very arrogantly and without giving any respect "how many parallel lines you have?" !! But I have only one telephone instrument. Broad band ADSL is ON for 30 seconds and another 30 seconds it is OFF. Same way the telephone, Dial tone will not be there in the afternoon daily. Some times broadband will be working even when the dial tone is not there in the telephone. Most of the days it happens in the afternoon, morning it will be allright. I am very much fed up due to this BSNL connection.I don't know when it will be working and when it will be OFF. I am sure that there is no fault from my end. Can any concerned authority look in to it?

              The telephone is dead for the last 3 months and complaint was already booked. But no action taken so far. I could not use Broadband connection because of it. Even the Lineman and JE not responding inspite of repeated requests..i have called for more than 100 times, , what the use of having customer care when there is no proper respond ., , , try to fix the problem as soon as possible, , because we are paying every month...i[censored] cant fix the problem kindly pay back the money we paid, , , , or send the line man as soon as possible...that is within a day..


              i have requested many times...for fixing the problem, , , , , , do it now atleast, , , , .BSNL people customer care also have to improve, because they cut the phone so soon...even when they cant hear what a customer is trying to say about the problem.

              broad band connection not working from almost 4 months...modem is not proper, , and u BSNL expect the montly rental to be paid so soon..or u will cut the connection.why dont u do the same when any of customer has problem with connection cant u come and check the problem and fix the connection problem

                BSNL Internet Connection — Very poor reponse in BSNL Internet connection

                It is a shame that I have not received the broadband connection @ my house. Its more than a month of our registration in BSNL. Went to the Telephone office again and again. No proper response. I have called the thousand times. They have asked me to go for someother network connect. I dont understand what they do. I still didnt receive phone connection at home. i am put up in Vepery.
                our bsnl internet speed is very poor. i use bsnl HUAWEI hub and surf instrument for internet but not that speedy compair to other internet service provider.
                I request a complaint by changing of limited package to unlimited package. it is chaged or not

                wat is the status
                The the services of BSNL are much hyped in the media. Who listens to us? I get only 30 kbps speed in 750 ul though BSNL promises at least 212 kbps. DOES BSNL LISTEN! Reduce cost on celebrities. Increase cost on customers. THEY PAY.
                I got a BSNL connection on the month of february 26. But the net connection is very slow due to unproper LAN connection in my area( keeahakasakudy karaikal)..its really regreaing to call the servce provider again and again...kindly provide the proper line connection..

                  Our phone no. is 2391262 and it's dead from 31/03/2010, we have made a complain (Complaint No.SPR06336) on that day and got an sms on 01/04/2010 from BSNL Portal saying that "Complaint No.SPR06336 against phone no. 2391262 is cleared on 1st Apr.'10" as we got connection for 20-30 mn. then the phone is again dead!
                  Now despite of making complaint again by phone and sms too we are not getting any response from them, even I have been calling so many times at Subhanpura office but no one is picking up the phoene. This is ridiculous!

The lady sitting near the complain no. 2393333 is so careless and she has no sense how to talk to the customer and is givng me rubbissh answers. Today also I talked with her on 15.15 pm I have even told her that somebody is hospitilized at my house so I please request you to do the needful on urgent basis but I think she is such a careless lady and does not have any sense how to talk to the customers. According to her my phone line was started within 10 mins of the complain registration and when I told her that there is some mistake she told me that somebody had picked the receiver from my house and said that the line is OK . I told that nobody was present at my house when the compain was given. She rubbishly told me in gujarati that " me hawa ma vat kari" such were her wording and when I asked her name and superiors number she put off the phone.

I would like to have the net connection at my home so i have applied in Gummidipoonid BSNL exchange before 3 months still now i didn't get any response from them. I don't know they are working or not i have asked so many time to AE and so many people of there.

                    hi a bsnsl linemans and other is very worst is working in only beta from colecting peoples i thing linemans dont got a salary from goverment. its very shame of a country
                    in a month it works for only 10 days all the time its under repair but billing system is working exactly. they are not bothered wether system is working landline always dead or else to noisy even after repeated complaints. similarly with broad band connection I they are bothered of their salary not their work.
                    for top up update the amount but the activation not possible . this is the BSNL services. no response to the customer's complaints. if we approach why to use BSNL go for other connections this is response of their own employees.

I have asked so many times but there is no response from them.                           My Telephone no[protected] has been almost completely dead since 1st MAY 2009. It works only once in fortnight and that too is hardly only 5 to 10 minutes. I have not getting any response from local BSNL officials. On making an independent inquiry it has come to my knowledge that other private company has utilize connection and in spite of our written complaints we have not got any response. However we get Telephone BIll regularly and there is no delay for it.

                            I had a phone connection after that I had taken internet connection. for two months everthing was ok but once the internet and phone stopped working I raised the complianit and on request they repaired the land line and told that some other person will come and repair the internet.Since that day I havent met the other person's and internet never worked after that although the bill kept comming(no problem there ?)inetresting.keep it up BSNL . After four months I cleared all the amount and cancelled the internet connection.Phone service is Best but when it comes to internet and customer service BSNL does not stand anywhere .Probably no body looses his job for not doing the his duty.BSNL is trying to bring the latest of cutting edge technology and server etc but does not do the back operation properly.                             I have got a Bsnl land line connection in the year 2008 and whenever my broad band in problem/trouble after giving frequent complanints also they are not attending. Simply from their Indira nagar office they are calling to my home and asking whether phone is working or not? i dont know whether they've understand the problem clearly ie, broad band problem or not. Now i'm planning to give complaint to the superiors and planning to disconnect my number 2529 3202 and to shift to other service providers.
                            If the BSNL personnels still sleep like this then they can not survive in this field.
                            Dear Sir,

                            My telephone no. is[protected] with broadbank connection was working at Hno.24, Vishwa Karma Krupa, Veeranagouda Colony, Bellary. On 13/10/2009, I applied for shifting of telephone to Plot No. 189, Deva Reddy House, Opp Garden, Sanjaya Gandhi Nagar, Bellary.

                            Till this date shifting has not taken place. On enquiry BSNL officials informing there is cable problem. Already three months over still the cable problem not solved. I have paid upto October 2009 telephone bill.

                            Kindly look into the matter and help me in getting telephone No.[protected] with broadband connection shifted to my new address at the earliest.

                              My broadband connection is down for the last 10 days. Despite several complaint on customer care jalahalli branch, no one has turned up for restoring connectivity. I am assured daily but no one has come so far. I am fed up. In my area some people told me that if I give bribe to the linemen then my telephone and broadband will be working.

                              My Broadband connection (DataOne) is never been activated from year 2006 but is charged every month, after continuous follow up & mails to authorities the rental paid is been reimbursed from the regular bill from may, 2008 and still the connection is not provided. The LAN line is down from last 2 months, in between up for half -an-hour or less than that. no response from the authorities even after complaining. Does BSNL have any SLA set for customer service? why shld customer pay the monthly rental when the lines are down from the BSNL itself or due to any infrastructural change at BSNL exchange? Please reply

                                I am residing at Rammurthy Nagar Bangalore.
                                For past 3 weeks the broad band connection is not working.
                                Already we tried giving complaint to BSNL Rammurthy nagar branch but all in vain.
                                Yesterday we got the telephone bill and the complete broad band charge is levied.

                                Why should we pay when the service is not provided?
                                At least there should be some discounts when the service is not provided.

                                BSNL in pethatic to say the least, my broadband connection is down since 15 days, no action have been taken, their technical staff is so poor that they dont understand whats the prob. is, and how to solve it. customer care is also as bad.
                                why r they providing service when they cant back it my with gud support...
                                MY Advice will b NOT to go with BSNL, cause once its down...u have no one to support n solve the matter...

                                Hi,

                                I am totally shocked and fade up with BSNL Broadband Service as for last 6 months or more I couldn’t consume a single bit of data through BSNL Broadband. I visited personally to Area Manager of BSNL at Satyabala, Howrah, West Bengal but only a few days service was provided to me after that visit. One more thing, that, no technically skilled person is engaged in our local exchange for resolving the connection problem except providing an assurance to the customers for an indefinite period. This is my good luck that I am equipped with another Reliance Broadband Connection and it works exceptionally trouble free and till now I am managing all of my jobs only through it. I don’t know whether in near future BSNL will be able to achieve the up to the mark benchmark like Reliance or other ISPs or simply continue the habit of fetching money from subscribers without providing desired service.

                                    10 days before the BSNL authority came with Modem for installation. DUe to system problem, they are not able to attend the same. But for the past two days, we are trying to contact them through phone. They simply said, just connect it and get the line. But we are not able to get it activate. Who will take this responsibility in Govt. sector organization. Pl. help us for speedy service.

                                    Is it possible to take the modem back, since we are not using a minute or not yet activate. Regret for the poor service by BSNL, Madurai.

                                    When i am loging through bsnl website to My Service Portal and try to update my sim then i read some error as under.

                                      1. I have used the basic telephone No[protected] on my name at my residence from Dehu Road Exchange from 30 Dec 2002 :-
                                      (a) Customer Account No - [protected] dated 10 Dec 2002.
                                      (b) Residential Address - T-50/2 Garden City , Dehu Road, Pune.
                                      2. I have paid a total of Rs 3000/- as security deposit/advance rental for the telephone. Rs 800/- as Registration amount ( Bahirwade Chambers Receipt No 216451 dated 10 Dec 2002) and Rs 2200/- as Additional advance rental deposits (Tele bill No [protected] dated 18 Feb 2003, Dehu Road Cant Post Office Receipt No 8440 dated 05 Mar 2003.)
                                      3. Last Tele Bill No [protected] dated 18 Apr 2005 for Rs. 1513/-, up to meter reading 10514 as on 31 Mar 05 was paid vide Dehu Road Cant Post Office Receipt No 9813 dated 29 Apr 2005.
                                      4. As I was transferred from Pune to Kota (Rajasthan), I applied for surrender of my telephone connection. I gave my new address in my application. As I was using my own telephone instrument, I obtained a certificate from Mr RR Kattimani, SDE Phones, Dehu Road Sub Division and got the meter reading endorsed as 11963 as on 19 May 2005.
                                      5. I approached the office of the AO TRA, BSNL, Chandra Bhavan, Kharalwadi, Pune -18 for refund of security deposit/advance rental. I was told that the refund will be sent to me by post on my new address. Since than, I have written a number of times but no refund has been received.
                                      6. The final Bill for the period from 01 Apr 05 to 19 May 05, which as per my calculation is likely to be Rs 1948/- be deducted from my out standing security deposit/advance rental of Rs 3000/- and the balance amount of Rs 1488/- (Rs 1152/- + Rs 336/- as interest calculated annually at the rate of 12% p a) be paid to me at the earliestat the following address:-
