Their warehouse employees, delivery boys are theifs. I always have issues with some or other missing product which they billed. Why cant they do a inspection? On top their customer service is horrible. They will miss delivery of items and expect me to chase their support team for refund of rs 300, write them mail, call them and chat with support team as per their availability and mood to respond. I use to order on big basket for saving time but now when i measure the time, it took me more time to order, receive, validate, chat, talk, email and followup for items. I am writing this to spread awareness among people that who are busy and do not have time to chase support every time for these small issues. Its frustrating! Why cant they improve their technology to make it easy to raise complaints without writing or talking to them for small amount. This time it is even worse, even after chasing for 3 days they have not taken any action against it. The management and leadership team are just looking to increase user base, customer more and more data, so one day when they reach the peak of valuation, find a buyer and exit. Instead of solving customers problem they are increasing it. Pathetic service!!

        I've around 10, 000 rupees balance in my big basket wallet but for a month or above bigbasket is unable to deliver in my area. So, I want my money back to my bank account as soon as possible.
        I've put a mail to bigbasket customer service portal but didn't receive any response.

          My product was on cod and once the delivery person came and called i payed the order through google pay. The delivery guy marked products delivered. I went to bring the order but entire items are missing. I called the delivery guy but he has blocked my number. I searched everywhere its not there. The delivery has stolen my items.

          Please take strict action against him for fraudulent case and harrassment and stealing my money and goods.

            I placed my order on big basket on 29th april using their app, but immediately after some time, i cancelled my order due to some of the items not present, in this case, my wallet amount rs. 827/- got deducted but to date, it hasn't been credited to my account. I put up an email on the mail id [protected]@bigbasket.com on the same day (29th april) but haven't got any replies from them. I called them twice to get my refund but every time they gave some of the other reasons. The pathetic thing about bigbasket is they don't have a toll free no., also no resolution being provided after calling them so many times.

              Hi,

              This is regarding order number dxmpo[protected].in the item list i had ordered chicken also, but i received a stale product. I had to immediate throw it into the dustbin as the smell was really bad.
              If big basket cannot deliver the fresh chicken product, why cant they stop its sale. I am highly disappointed. Also i did send an email to them but they did not have even courtesy to reply to that mail.
              In future i wont be ordering any product from bigbasket.com because the customer service is really pathetic.

                  I had placed an order bjpo[protected] which was delivered on 10/5/2020. Delivery agent simply threw all the grocery items on the ground in the parking lot of my apartment inspite of me clearly telling him too leave it outside my apartment.
                  Due to which i cancelled the order returned the items and requested for a refund.
                  But to my surprise, i got a message on 11/5/2020 that my order is reprocessed without my consent ejpro[protected], this was done without my consent and authorisation.
                  Again i called the customer care and cancelled the order and second time asked for refund, upon which i was assured by the call centre agent that it will be processed in 7-9 days but refused to provide me any reference no.

                  I found this behaviour suspicious so i sent a mail regarding the same to bigbasket on 11/5/2020 itself.
                  Bigbasket gave a reply to the mail on 17/5/20 saying that they have raised a new request for transferring the money and to wait for 7-9 days.

                  Then when i called the bigbasket customer care to enquire about it they told me there was no request for refund placed on 10/5 or 11/5, also though the time for replying the mail is the same day they were sorry that i recieved a reply after 5 days.
                  Now again they are asking me to wait for a refund.

                  Is this how you treat customers :
                  - delivering grocery on the road, even not waiting for the customer to collect it.
                  - reprocessing the customers orders without his consent
                  - not taking money transfer requests even after repeatedly asked by the customer.
                  - inspite of seeing of these issues of mishandling the custome by your call center agents ; the are asking me to wait more 10 days for recieving his own money and he simply has be at the mercy of your executives.

                  This is how you treat your customers?? You take pride on compensating customers for delays, how are you compesating for this??

                    Recently bought a egg tray of 12 eggs for the first time from big basket. Initially when i made boiled eggs i realized there was some problem with the yolk inside but let go thinking normally. The last 5 eggs which i used two days before while frying found that the egg yolk was just so liquid and just dripped on the tawa and had also rotten from inside with black lining. Happened with all 5 eggs which i used. I thought it unlikely until all the 5 eggs where the same. There is a scam of fake eggs with this online company.

Bigbasket send message that payment is failed but my money Rs 634 is debited from my airtel money wallet to IBIBO WEB so please do not show cash on delivery or refund my money in my airtel money wallet .

                        My name is kanaiya prajapati i got a call from jamalalluddin who handles the thane market of shadowfax/ big basket.
                        He ask me to submit documents emmidiate basis i did same what he asked and in same day he activated my id for bike ryder job. And he has given me one number of mr azim who handles goregaon zone for t shirt and all joining meeting and all but this fellow is very pathetic and disgusting. He has not answered my calls and watsapp msg since last 7 days. After that i decided to visit directly so i am but there also he has make me wait 3 hour but did not met me.. And suddenly second day he msg me vacancy full.. How it can be done if my job id is activated he intentionally trouble me.
                        I request you to plz tell some strict action agains him because this should not be repeated with some one else.

                          This is with regard to the most recent order placed. Issue with delivery agents cancelling orders. 1) order reached at 15:06 for 12-2 pm slot, i did not complain. The agent called when i was in the washroom, there were 4 calls from 15:06 to 15:10 and i even picked up the last call but he disconnected. The last call rang for 8 secs. I immediately ran out to the gate and saw that he has already cancelled the order in 4 mins.. Seriously? While he has other orders and he was still standing there. That's really frustrating service. First of all it is prepaid, contactless, he could have just left it at the security desk. Shouldnt there be a min time that your agents have to wait before cancelling orders? Especially when they are still in the location? I have saved the call history in case you want to see what i am talking about. We cannot be waiting the entire time for a call from your agents. Till 2 pm i sat near the phone and waited for the call but nothing came for which we don't complain.. Sorry to say, you will lose more customers with this kind of services. This was my last order with big basket.. Really disappointed.

                              I am a regular customer of big basket, recently i realized the eggs aren't getting cooked fully and tasting differently. I did a little research and found out that i have been consuming plastic eggs.
                              I have verified after performing few tests on the eggs to confirm they are plastic/fake ones. My order was received on may03, 2020 and order n0 is mguo[protected] and the eggs are bigbasket's brand fresho eggs.

                              I have consumed 6 out of 30 eggs and i am worried about the implications on my health.
                              I request strict action should be taken against this as this is not the first complaint regarding plastics eggs against bigbasket. There is a history of previous complaints which shows as resolved but they continue to sell plastic eggs. I should be compensated for my time, emotional and mental stress and health.

                                On the 28th of april i had placed an order to be delivered by big basket. Not only did they not deliver the complete order, the delivery person kept throwing the biscuits and bread as if he was disposing garbage. On pointing it out to him, he immediately lashed out and the customer service from bigbasket cut my call when i broached the subject stating pandemic crisis so adjusment is necessary from the customer.

                                How is that we are the only ones adjusting? Are these companies not making business during this time? Are they selling their product at discounted pricing? Is employing thugs to delivery to customer homes not a crime?

                                They haven't even followed basic security protocols of having a face mask + hand gloves. They just don't care. What's the use of having a big star endorse this company when their ethics lacks even basic principles?

                                Please reach out to other customers of these culprits. I am sure they have all faced such harrowing experiences. These guys act like angels at a time of crisis and put out a noble face in public to demonstrate how their safety measures are in place and are carefully put.

                                Another aspect is their vegetables and meat are always raw/rotten. Their source of these commodities is highly questionable. Someone needs to conduct a full checkup of their warehouses and i am sure there's more to their antics than they demonstrate to the public.

                                Request the authorities to immediately take this up as a serious matter, these people are bound to infect and harass customers in the name of business.

                                  I must say that i am disgusted with your stupid service and we have the same problems every time we place an order to you.
                                  Imagine, that if the delivery person cannot get the call through, does it mean the order is cancelled?

                                  Please note and it should be educated to all of you sitting out there, that if the customer places an order and if the payment is already done, it is the job of the delivery person to find the address on his own. If he cannot get the call through or due to networking issues, it is his sole responsibility to find out the address from local people.

                                  Please be aware that your services are fallen short and miserable, and it needs to be revamped to its fullest efficiency and potential.

                                    I have made several time responded on chat of bb daily regarding delivery of less number of milk pouches than the subscription made. We are not free to make complaint every now and then.
                                    Despite my repeated complaints there is no action and less number of pouches are delivered and we have to write and wait for refund.
                                    If you wouldn't improve your service then big basket will get bad name soon.
                                    Therefore, act now.

                                      Being the regular user of bigbasket i would like to bring your attention that i have been trying to reach your executive for many reason, but no one is available in in "ask me" chat option. Luck by chance if somebody connects they drop a message disappear quickly.

                                      1. I wanted to return few products, which fall under 2 day return policy, but slot was never available since i received the product.

                                      Why i wanted to return?
                                      A. It came in bad condition,
                                      B. It was rotten, smelly

                                      Product - tomatoes, muskmelon, green chillies

                                      2. I wanted to raise a ticket about missing product, i again tried reaching, but no response

                                      From my last order one product is missing - grapes

                                      3. Expiry/wrong quality product, i was shocked to see fungus in my food, the time i am cooking it.

                                      Chidhva /poha - i saw 2-3 pods of black fungus with insects roaming in my poha..

                                      4. Last i wanted to return one product which i added twice in my list
                                      Product which i wanted to return - macroni

                                      5. I have placed new order as well, after seeing chidhva in this fungus condition, i want you to cancel chidhva from my present order right away.

                                      I want you to take action right away, i have tried reaching you guys many times, i understand you have deliveries, but you can't deliver wrong/smelly/rotten/fungus food to your customer.

                                        Big basket makes deliveries to my neighbour, but I have not got a time slot the whole month. When I open the app it say time slots available, but when I check out, it says no time slots available.
                                        I called the helpline on 11th April at 11.08 am. I was assured that my deposit would be refunded in 7 to 10 working days. That has not happened.
                                        I do not want to waste time and make myself frustrated with bad service. So kindly refund my Rs.5000 immediately. You are keeping my money and giving me only irritation in return.
