Pathetic service first of all!! For a working professional like me who has to plan for buying groceries and planning the delivery, i selected the slot 7-9:30am, it was not delivered. Called up cust serv four times, was put on hold for more than 10mins on one call, then one rep assured me it will be delivered on the same day in the evening. Not delivered. Then i changed my slot to morning for the next day. Not delivered. Then cust rep again told me it will be delivered in the eve 5-7pm slot. I order and put these slots for my convenience not for your convenience!!! Pathetic!!! I will never ofer from this app again. I have lost a whole week or ordering and planning for the delivery. My delivery slot was changed 4 times!!! I would understand if it happened 2times but 4times??? Even if you blame it on technical issue it only shows but bad your team is.

    We have been purchasing from big basket for a quite some time now.
    The delivery service has been good.
    But the products that have been packed is not monitored, we have got very raw chickoos and custard apples which did not ripe, rather gotten rotten and had to be thrown away. Peeled pomogranates was fermented and family felt very bad in front of our relatives.
    Yesterday (Order no.[protected] we had spoiled rotten capsicum in the delivery given.
    This is a discouragement and provokes us to stop buying from big basket and as well tell friends not to avail services.
    Need an assurance that vegetables and fruits will be looked into before packing and sending

      I had ordered american cream cheese and bagels.
      The cream cheese box was broken and they also delivered chicken when i didn’t ordered it and we are vegetarians..
      The box was broken and the cream cheese was coming out and probably contaminated with the plastic material of the box.
      Very bad customer service and the product which was delivered was broken and not in tact in its container. I would not recommend bigbasket.com to anyone.

        I have been using big basket for a while now and what i observe is their customer and delivery executives are rude and have no sense of talking to a customer. By chance if you are late by 10-15 mins (Considering bangalore traffic) they will ensure they call you thousand times even if you have requested for an additional time. They will literally threaten you on cancelling or rescheduling the order. Also food quality is bad. Fruits are never fresh

          Horrible. I had ordered more then 3kg's of sweets on october 8th 2017 and had to be delivered by 16th october 2017. After numerous calls too, i get the same rubbish answers: sorry for the delay it will be delivered in a hour and our backward team will get back to you. My whole family and apartment orders from big basket. I will ensure that this is your last order. Now i will have to go and buy diwali sweets from else were and am not sure if i will get one. If you guys can't deliver, please do not take the orders. Who needs your cash back that your offering when you can't have a basic courtesy of calling up and informing the customer.

            I ordered 2 kilos of basa fish frozen but i've received only one kilo! Ordered from big baskets neighbourhood store _ "my chicken and more" bangalore.

            Pls refund the amount for the undelivered quantity.

            While the big basket delivery, quality is good. The customer service, complaint resolution is very poor!

              There was 3 transaction happended from my visa debit card on sep 28. Which is according to them 2 failed tranasction and one successful.
              But when checked in bank it was clearly shown that money has been deducted thrice.
              After that we made a lot calls and requests they are not ready to refund our money. Even we have shared the nank statement screen shot also. But they are telling that not to expect anything.

              Delivery team stole my I-Phone at morning 9:30 AM when they came for delivery.. even after complaining at local BB office and corporate office also, no response so far on this..
              Worst company with worst service..

                Dear cs team,

                My order was first placed on 4th october 8.30-11.30 pm. The delivery did not happen.

                The delivery was rescheduled for 6th oct 9.30- 12.30 pm by big basket without checking my availability.

                Due to this i had to stay back at home and miss 1st half of my office.
                To my utter dismay the order on 6th oct again did not happen by 12.30 pm. I made multiple calls to customer support team without any meaningful solution. I unnecessarily had to waste half day leave.

                For order on 4th oct as the delivery did not happen on time, as per big basket set process 10% order value is credited (As communicated by big basket) as penalty to my account. I have not checked big basket account.

                Also the rescheduled order on 6th oct (As confirmed by big basket) again did not happen on time. But for this i want my half days salary as compensation for this loss.

                I have spoken to suyog ship or kar city head cs mumbai, with out any satisfactory resolution. Also he is not replying to my mails after 1st interaction.

                Unless i get what sounds a right compensation i will not let this matter close.

                  I ordered paneer today morning along with other products but the product (Paneer) i recieved is of september (11/9) which is quite old. Hence the paneer was not fresh.

                  As soon as i opened the packet i looked at the product it was not fresh and hence was not eatable. Whenever we order dairy product we expect that product delivered should be fresh. I understand we can use the product till 180 days but the product which was delivered to me was not fresh and hence i couldn't use that.

                  I placed the order on 3rd october. Big basket delivered the eggs which were packed on 17th Aug 2017. The pack says that the product is best for use before 4 weeks of date of packing.

                  I tried cooking 3 eggs and all were rotten.

                    I would like to bring to your notice that on sept-28th 2017, i had ordered some groceries on big basket website for which i have received two order numbers-

                    2) (A-ebro[protected]

                    Firstly they delayed the order by one day saying that they will send fresh items and the next day a representative comes to our home and delivers the parcel in which the following items were missing and the amount was paid in advance, even after repeated complaints these people are least bothered to even reply back. So hoping for a strict action against this fraud company.
                    Please see all the below mentioned items which were missing in the order even though the bill has included these items, it has not been delivered;

                    The list of missing items;

                    1) apples
                    2) buns
                    3) pomogranate
                    4) bombay mixture
                    5) parle rusk
                    6) nandini milk

                      And the order was completed as delivery boy delivered products;

                      After a week i saw big basket debited 706 from my wallet which si showing as -706 now.

                      And so i do not shop from big basket after that blunder;

                      I asked big basket to reverse the duplicate charges but they have not done so,.

                      My bill copy is attached;

                      I warn customers who keep money in bigbasket wallet to be aware as either big basket customer care is confused or they are not ethical and charge wrongly.

                        The order was delivered on 30th of august and when i started using the products i noticed that bigbasket has shipped low quality food items, i raised a concern in their customer support i have not received response till today, they told they will be escalating the issue and so on.,
                        As this is related to food, my serious concern is that if something happens by consuming such low quality food stuffs who is responsible for it?? Bigbasket.com is selling some cheap food grains and flour., and the products which are about to expire is been shipped to me, they have kept such products in warehouse for 10 months and wants us to use it in next 2 months.

                          Complete order value of rs.2642 has been paid in advance.

                          Order status shows as 'completed' but order has not been received.

                          Have contacted customer care multiple times, also spoken to multiple supervisors and requested to escalate case but no one has bothered to get back to me. I have complete email trail that shows the number of follow ups done and can forward if required.

                          It is now 14 days since committed delivery date.

                          As per the bigbasket delivery guarantee of 10% cashback for every delay, i am currently entitled to 140% cashback.

                          Also since have been harassed multiple times by bigbasket for similar delivery issues, in order to teach them a lesson, i wish to make a claim of rs.10000 towards all my followup and tracking efforts.

                          I am willing to take this to consumer court, if required.

                            I've order 12-13 vegetables item from big basket. For the 1st time i've trusted a e-commerce brands for buying vegetables...
                            But they have failed to provide the quality vegetables as compared to there costing...
                            Worst quality ever faced.
                            When tried to get customer care executive, i've been told that keep the vegetables at home for next day till there pick up guy come & take back there vegetables. Then they will raise a refund for the vegetables...
                            Every time different executive giving different excuses for the bad quality...
                            Big basket is making big celebrities for branding & marketing... But they have worst worst quality of product...
                            They assured to deliver directly from farms to our doorstep... I think they have not checked the quality of the items which they are going to deliver at our door step...
                            Please take up this matter with appropriate authority. Or please advice me the procedure...
                            Please help me in the matter... I want to lodge complaint against big basket.

                              Big basket have all old products near to expiry date and wen reported the issue they apologized n promise to change the product with valid fresh before expiry but to my surprise again they have send old product r they trying to fool customers also mrp price is different than there online price. I took snapshot and report them but they find excuse.

                              It's better to buy from near by grocery shop or super market but not this big basted fooling people.

                                Hi team,

                                I have always liked big basket, but the other day i saw something which concerned me. I saw an employee of big basket carrying such a heavy load on his back that we was bending to carry the basket. I understand this may not be as important as the other complaints, but i was shocked. The basket looked bigger than the man.
                                Can i please make a suggestion if deliverers use small trolleys to carry the basket. It is better for this health and reputation of the company. Since seeing that poor man, i have come to see the impact of purchasing online and getting it delivered. Please give them portable trolleys.

                                  I am not satisfied with the quality of vegetables and fruits such as cauliflower, onion and apple. We r spending so much money in that and at last getting the bad product. This is not the 1st time that i got bad products from ur side. I think this is high time. Please check the products quality before delivery. Few days back i orderd lots of veggies and fruits. It accepted my all orders but at the time of delivery the boy gave some of the products and said that the other products that u have ordered were not available. My question is that if the products are out of stock then it should be given there but it was not mentioned. So why these kinds of mistake are done by big basket? It's a big brand. I think by all these silly mistakes they might loose some of their customers.

                                    With reference to my above order, please note that the experience with your service has been beyond terrible.

                                    My complaints:
                                    1) you have billed me for products not suppled
                                    2) in the same order you have billed me for full quantities but supplied only part
                                    3) in the same order you have supplied spoilt & rotted vegetables

                                    After deducting amount for the returned, non-supplied & partial supplied items my bill value comes to rs.2, 693.15 (As against rs.3, 032/=).

                                    This is the only amount i will pay.

                                    I thought i would shop at big basket for the convenience but it has turned out to be a nightmare. I spent over 45 minutes on 9th sept trying to sort out the bill with your delivery person & speaking to your area incharge.

                                    When i spoke to your area incharge on 9th sept. He assured me that i would receive a revised invoice for the value of rs.2, 693.15 on monday 11th sept by 8.30 am.

                                    Thereafter i have had repeated calls from (Even as late as 9pm at night) asking for the payment. And despite your area incharge's assurance this morning your delivery person shows up & asks me to pay the full amount & they will refund the extra to my account.

                                    I have made it clear to everyone who has called me that i will pay only for the value of the products i have received & payment will be done by credit card only. During my pre-oder call as well as my call with your area incharge on 9th sept i have made it clear that i will only pay through credit card.

                                    I do not want a credit in my account as i will never ever shop again with bigbasket (Your executives are trying to tell me to pay the full bill value & they will give credit) nor will i pay cash or through wallet.

                                    Kindly arrange to have your executive collect the payment of rs.2, 693.15 from me immediately as i do not believe in keeping payments pending. He is required to bring a card machine to collect payment.

                                    Kindly do the needful & close the matter without any further delay.

                                      Never buy from #bigbasket. I was shown one product and delivered another. Probably they hoped that i wouldn't notice. Then, when i contacted them, they took back the wrong product and later sent a replacement. They had sent the wrong product again. This was repeated at least 20 times. Every time giving standard scripted excuses.

                                      I guess they were trying to palm off their excess stock available, hoping that i will give up trying to follow up for the right product. Eventually, they cancelled my order.

                                      I had to chase after them to get my advance payment returned to my credit card. Very conveniently, they give credit in the "bigbasket wallet" till one forces them to return the money. One needs to be very careful with them.

                                        I did not request a change in the slot and it is a problem from big basket end. This was not intimated to me on time. I have no way to reach big basket after 10pm and big basket did not take an effort to call me or message me to update on the delay before 10pm.

                                        I received a message at 8pm that the delivery will be done today and then no updates.

                                        Big basket is becoming bad in delivery these days. Every time there is cost modification but the quality is steadily going down.

                                        I'm really disappointed and annoyed with this response from big basket. No one in the customer care nor the delivery representative had even one minute before 10pm to call and update me about the delay. Is big basket taking customers for granted? Looks like that!!!

                                        I will send back the order tomorrow even if it comes to me by 7:30 am. I could have easily gone to the market to get what i needed rather than depending on such an undependable poor delivery.

                                        I will be very conscious from now to not to order anything in big basket.

                                        Overall, this is not good customer care.
