I am having extremely bad experience with big basket. Order number mentioned above needs to be delivered by 7:30 pm today, which not yet delivered and no one contact even. When i have contacted customer service representative, he simply put me on hold for long time and not come back then. His customer service is chargeable though. I thing bb has paid more amount to endorse them by srk and not their customer, who need good service only. This my last order from bid basket if they deliver or else i would cancel since it's no use of it.

    From past experience i am writing this review for bigbasket please do not buy products from this site especially the perishable goods i have ordered multiple times but it never ever came in good condition every time i had to complain about the products but still the same continues on every order.

    Very bad experience do not buy

      Big basket has fake items in their application and looted and blocked account when the order was placed.
      Ticket no:[protected] was opened by big basket but no one seems to bother to look on it. They have blocked my account and forfieted the amount that was charged for the order.
      The entire big basket team is a bunch of frauds. They said that my phone was switched off when they tried to contact me whereas my phone is never switched...

      My 3 years experience with big-basket has come to an end due crap and useless service.. When i completed one of my recent order.. The amount was 2k and at the time to delivery the guy come up with an invoice of 5k.. I was shocked.. Bloody so cheap.. I have no idea, these guys are taking all the money with interest for all the discount they have offered in last 3 years to me..

        Dear hari,

        Just wanted to share my last experience with big basket. The reason for saying this is simple your team does not deserve customer like me. I know it would hardly make a difference to you or your organisation even if you loose one customer like me, but still thought sharing my experience might save hundreds of jobs.

        The order was not delivered till 9 pm today, so i thought of checking the status and chated customer service team, i was informed it's delayed and it would be delivered by 9.25 pm. Then i saw a message at 9.15 pm that order is rescheduled for 7.30-9.30 slot the next day. I immediately called up the customer support @ 9.15 pm and was surprised to hear that delivery person reached my place @ 9.14 pm and was not able to find me (Which is a lie, as i was waiting for him). I was speaking to santosh or sanjay (Not sure what is the real name because he said to me he is santosh and when his supervisor called me he said his name was sanjay) he said the order will be delivered next day as in 2-3 minutes of talking the delivery guy went far away and would not be able to come back for delivery. To my surprise when i check next day delivery order some items were missing.

        Then mr prasad (Sr floor manager) called me and confirmed that these items were anyways missing even if the order was to be delivered today i. E. As per schedule. Finally i requested him to either ensure full delivery or cancel full order and refund the amount to source i. E. My card. He said he would ensure this and this finally ends my last experience.

        My request to you is to ensure my money is refunded to source as i am not interested in placing any further orders with bigbasket. Hope this request and promise will be delivered, else i would be forced to take legal course.

        I have no problem / complaints with bigbasket as for me it's a dead entity. Just try and save as many jobs as you can by trying to retain and serve other customers.

        Hoping you will not disappoint me in my only request.

          I am new to bigbasket and my very first order was for 26 items along with duck meat which was on special offer. I paid upfront, but when they delivered duck meat was missing. After two days again i ordered items along with duck meat, they took the money upfront but did not deliver duck meat for the second time but as usual the duck meat amount was transfered to my bigbasket wallet account. Third time i placed some 32 items along with duck meat but this time i did not pay upfront since i found that bigbasket is trying to attract customers by offers but taking that money and instead of refunding the money they transfer it to our bigbasket wallet account.

            I am a frequent user of bb app.
            Everytime i place any order - they split it in two/three slots to charge delivery fee and evade from free bees offered by them.
            At one time i had to cancel the order for one bread (Costing 30/-) with delivery fee of 50/- totaling rs. 80/- with a different time slot.
            On subsequent order i placed for 1500/- to qualify for free set of three prealpet bottle. They splitted the order and didn't supplied. Upon enquiry their customer care sounds helpless.

            As a customer i feel cheated everytime and have to critically review my order after every purchase

            Recently I bought so - called Alphonso mangoes. Mostly sour and inferior quality of ordinary mangoes were delivered. Very unbecoming of a reputed house like you.

              This was my complaint which I made on 15th April at 2:21 p.m on the Big Basket's Customer Complaint e-mail given by their Customer Service Executive. Am yet to receive a feedback till now 16th April 7:30 p.m. Two reminders sent.

              "I would like to complain about the extremely poor customer service/delivery service that Big Basket has exhibited today. I placed 2 Orders today at 9:56 a.m. and 10:01 a.m. My Orders were taken and I was assured that the same will be delivered 11:27 a.m. and 11:32 a.m. respectively. I am attaching the order confirmation. The items were for our lunch today. We waited for the orders to be delivered but there was no sign of the Big Basket delivery person. We called your Customer Service at 12:31 p.m. and one Arvind attended our call. He said he was unable to contact the delivery guy right then and will check and revert in 10 minutes. That 10 minutes never happened. We made the next call at 1:16 and one Mamta took my call. She said the same thing. Both were unable to reach the delivery guy and both were supposed to call us back - which they did not. Disgusted with the shoddy service, I cancelled the orders. Finally at 1:36 p.m. one Suvo Das called me asking me if I cancelled the order and why ? I would like to put on record the customer dissatisfaction that I have experienced today. More so since the items were ordered for lunch and it was a special lunch, occasion being Bengali New Year. From your records, you can see that I am regular customer of Big Basket. And today I am very very disappointed and disgusted. Can you explain why the delay and why was I not informed earlier that you are unable to execute my orders rather than me having to follow up with you guys ?

              The order values were 393/- + 89/- = 482/- which should be credited in my wallet. Also as per the Cancellation Policy, 10% of the Order Value should be credited to my wallet. So the total amount to be credited = 393/-+89/-+ 48.20 = 530.20. On checking I find that the amount in my wallet is only Rs. 464.65. Can you please explain the difference in the value ?

              I expect a clarification on both the concerns raised by me.

                I am really disappointed that spoilt duck meat was delivered by big basket! It was three packets of 500gms each that was delivered.
                As soon as the duck started cooking i realised that the duck was spoilt. I dint realize while i was cleaning the duck because may be only one of the packets was spoilt.
                I raise a complaint and they agree to refund just half the amount. When asked for the reason, they said the meat had to be returned to them uncooked.
                I don't understand this. Had i known that the duck was spoilt while cleaning why on earth will i cook the duck and then raise a complaint?
                This has been a very bad experience.
                I hope these people are adhering to the rules set.

                  On 6th of April 10, 2018 I placed an order consisting of 13 items (vegetables and fruits both). The mobile app was absolutely smooth in operation and the order was placed within no time. It was exciting to know that they also gave good discount on everyday veggies and good fruits. On 7th of April 10, 2018 I received my order. Since I was expecting a few guests in coming days I had ordered a variety of fruits and regular vegetables.
                  On 8th April 10, 2018, I cut open a pomegranate (part of my order) and discovered that it was black from inside. I gave it a benefit of doubt, as it sometimes happens that the fruit looks good from inside but turns out bad from inside. The Washington apples that I had ordered generally come in big size, as seen in the market, but the apples I received through Big Basket were comparatively smaller. One of the sweet limes that I had ordered was stone hard. Today, for my guests, when I cut open the muskmelon (again part of my order), it turned out raw…….forget about being sweet.
                  That was it. I immediately called your customer care number of Mumbai and explained my disappointing experience. But the reply (and this is why I am writing to you) was very very disappointing. They said that nothing can be done in this issue and that I should have reported this problem within 24 hours of the order received. This was unacceptable……I asked the customer care to transfer my call to somebody senior so I can get some productive solution. This senior lady said that I should have reported the problem 48 hours from the day I received the order. And that she can neither replace not refund as this is what is mentioned in the POLICY….another disappointment. The only promise she could make was that the complaint would be raised to a senior level.
                  My point of contention is that how can I consume a green grocery order of Rs. 592 in 48 hours?? We are a family of 4 adults and 2 kids under 8. My very objective of getting market fresh and carefully chosen veggies and fruits was of course not achieved but I have also lost those rupees with which I bought from Big Basket. Is this really THE POLICY that they have for such issues???

                    The Gourd (Lauki) was very dry and rotten. We cannot imagine this type of vegetables from Big Basket. We won't be able to accept this kind of vegetables next time. We ordered many items from Big Basket.. but, we were provided with this type of rotten and dry vegetable(Gourd I. e. Lauki). Anyway, some other vegetables were also sent. The overall quality of the vegetables were poor. Other items .. fruits.. biscuits etc. were of good quality. Thank you.

                      I am sorry to give you pathetic feedback on your delivery service. No one bothered to call me to inform on delayed delivery. I had to call myself to your store to check on the same. It was asked to wait 10 more minutes till 10.10 pm, i waited till 10.20 pm. No one called. When called to recheck, your lines are open till 10pm.. Woow.. What to say?

                      You didnt inform proactively nor support reactively, do you want me to wait for delivery boy whole night? Just pathetic experience.

                      On top of that, your chat support agents are really height. It asks to wait for agent to assign... But didn't assign agent for 30 mins... Hats off to chat bot, 10 stars to it.

                      If you can't deliver, then why do you keep 7.30 to 10 slots and keep customers awake?

                      I need to discuss this matter and expect a call back from you.

                        I had ordered things from big basket and gave them a delivery slot of 9.30am-12pm.
                        I called the customer service 4-5 times but no one was helping me and keeping my phone on hold. Later they said we cannot connect the call to delivery person so you have to wait.
                        Such a bad service and worst experience. I was waiting for 3 hours for the things to be delivered.

                        Quality of mangos was to bad.
                        Out of 12 mango's three was totally bad as attached picture.
                        Also remaining 9 mangoes still not ripe.

                        Also out of two Kharbooj(Musk Melon) on was not good.

                        I am right now having horrible experience. I paid for order through airtel money and tbat did not reflect on bigbasket. Initially bigbaset claimed that they did not receive the payment. After few days they claimed that they received the payment. Still they did not refund the money even after multiple emails.
                        Its been 10 days. there is no way to escalate this except customer care email or tollfree.

                        They are becoming another fraud. Be careful while ordering with them

                          Its my very pathetic intraction with you that i didnt received my order yet, it suppose to be deliver between 7.30pm to 10pm, but now its 10.15pm but i didny received my order yet.

                          I also cal your customer service @ 9.28pm and a person told me that in 10min he will arrange a call from delivery team but i didnt get any cal.

                          Now i suffer because i didnt make any purchase from market and now i am nothing for eat and it will also a very bad impression on me that big basket is not a reliable portal for grocery market.

                          And now i decided that i will share my this problem with social media and also going to rate very poor and also tell people that they never use bigbasket for there need.in market there are many more online protals are available which is very reliable in terms of there delivery slots but now i felt very bad because now i dont have any options to complete my need.

                          Tomorrow i am also going to make a legal action against the big basket about my delivery and most important a huge compensation i also demand because i have also word with the big basketier team and he assure me that they arrange a cal in 10min but they didint connect me.

                          And this was a very pathetic experiance with big basket and i request to all that didnt make any purchse from big basker.

                            It's showing complete but order is not yet delivered. No one is helping me, this is pathetic from big basket.. They took money from me but nothing is delivered, there r fake promises and i have been fooled by them. They are fooling lot of people around and not providing the promised order, this is getting pathetic with every passing day. Please help...and when ever we call customer care ...they says that your order will be cancelled by delivery boy ..bcuz phone not reachable ...they all are fake that it...

                              I received gift voucher worth rs 250 but when i tried to redeem it on order message shows invalid voucher, i contacted customer care thrice in an hour and each call was put on hold for more than 10 min but after that it was disconnected. I also sent an email regarding the issue.

                              Due to I was on very urgent call could not pick up call, Delivery person didn't approach for second call and after talking to customer care immediately they postponed order for 24 hours . That's so disappointing . There is no proper management and communication between delivery person and customer care of big basket.Its really very very bad.

                                Every single day i am ordering in big basket since 10th mar 2018. They are delivering the order everyday. Today i was waiting for my order since 17:00 ist. Few minutes back i got a call from big basket i was washing clothes. Before i was able to pick up the call. The call got cut. I called them back in exactly 1 min. They are saying i didn't pickup the call hence order is cancelled, order is rescheduled for tomorrow. And they saying reason as security is not letting the delivery person inside. There is no security in my building. Since i am ordering everyday since 10th mar 2018, all the big basket delivery person knows my address and they won't call me everyday and come to my door directly. Just because the new delivery person today doesn't know my address they are cancelling and rescheduling my order. All the vegetables are for my pets. If i don't get the order today should i starve my pets or should i kill them or should i go buy vegetables in vegetable shop. What good it is for me to get today's vegetables tomorrow. All this because of incompetent delivery person who doesn't know how to find my address

                                Now it's been 28 days and I haven't got my CASHBACK.

                                  BigBasket.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Order no #MHO[protected]..i placed dis order on yesterday (20/3/18) night..they have given me today (21/3/18) delivery time on 7.30 to 10.00. But without my knowledge they have changed to tomorrow (22/3/18) on same time..they promised one thing doing another thing.
                                  Please, take immediate on this issue.

                                    Dear team,

                                    Its my very pathetic intraction with you that i didnt received my order yet, it suppose to be deliver between 7.30pm to 10pm, but now its 10.48pm but i didny received my order yet.

                                    I also cal your customer service @ 9.28pm and a person told me that in 10min he will arrange a call from delivery team but i didnt get any cal.

                                    Now i suffer because i didnt make any purchase from market and now i am nothing for eat and it will also a very bad impression on me that big basket is not a reliable portal for grocery market.

                                    And now i decided that i will share my this problem with social media and also going to rate very poor and also tell people that they never use bigbasket for there need.in market there are many more online protals are available which is very reliable in terms of there delivery slots but now i felt very bad because now i dont have any options to complete my need.

                                    Tomorrow i am also going to make a legal action against the big basket about my delivery and most important a huge compensation i also demand because i have also word with the big basketier team and he assure me that they arrange a cal in 10min but they didint connect me.

                                    And this was a very pathetic experiance with big basket and i request to all that didnt make any purchse from big basket.

                                      Again called cc for complaint
                                      Cc quoted the reasons as "traffic jam" & "operational issues, therefore updated as delivered".
                                      He promised to call back with updates # no call received
                                      Mailed to cc for such issues
                                      Received call & mail # promised delivery by 16th, as operational team is looking into it.
                                      Received a call again stating that slot booked for 17th mar.
                                      Received a message that due to "operational constraint", order will be delivered by 18th mar.

                                      BigBasket.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      After providing all required details i emailed Mr Prashant Waydande several times but it has initiated no response.We have also shared our customer grievance on social media but it seems big basket takes customers grievance in a very light manner.Kindly resolve my issue at the earliest
