I have booked ticket wm4r2zh on 15 dec 2019, informed by bookmyshow 1 hr 40 mins before that show is cancelled, when asked for alternatives they cant provide. They can just refund and get away. I believe there should be a policy to inform 24 hrs atleast in advance and written in their policy. If 2 hrs than they should double the amount. Giving just refund is not appropriate but an option of providing another alternative ticket also should be there. Book my show team is also arrogant, their phone recordings need to be stored for 2 days.

Movie ticket prices are increased for "Sarileru neeku evaru", "Ala vykuntapuram
lo" from 100 to 200 in my home town cheepurupalli during sankranthi season.
Government should take necessary action to bring normal prices.

    On 13th of december, i had booked 3 tickets of sagardwipey jawker dhan at nandan cinema hall in kolkata for a 3:30pm show on 14th of december. The monetary transaction of rs. 248.40 was successful from my sbi account but no ticket confirmation was sent to me. Thereafter when i visited the site to check the status of my booking, it shows the same three seats that i had selected to be available for further booking.
    This is ridiculous on their part to act this way and harass their customers by not giving them any service on the money i had paid them.
    I strictly want my refund (Rs.248.40) back, for ruining the trust i had. They should not enjoy payments without providing any service to the customer.

    Ideally, the amount charged with the unsuccessful transaction will be refunded in 4-5 working days for privatized bank and 10 working days for the nationalized bank.

    In case of ​the​ amount ​paid ​using a UPI app, it should reflect within the next 3-4 working days. The amount paid through the wallet will be refunded within the next 24 hours.

      On 13th of december, 2019, i had booked 3 tickets of the film sagardwipey jawker dhan at nandan cinema hall for a 3:30pm show on 14th of december, 2019. An amount of rs. 248.40 has been debited from my sbi account, while no confirmation of tickets have been sent to me. When i am checking the site again to locate the status of my booking, it shows my selected seats to be available for further booking.
      This is an undesired and extremely disgusting on the part of this company to have allowed all monetary transaction without giving any service to the customer.
      I do demand a refund (Rs. 248.40) from this organization, for breaking the trust of a consumer.

        I booked three tickets from bookmyshow but for some reason in the year i could not go and cancel my ticket and not give me money back if we did customer care, they would not tell me that your ticket could be canceled and you would not get the money back i told the people that if you don't give my money back, i will do your compliant in consumer court even if they return my money not giving up bookmy show contact us [protected]

          Hi

          I booked a ticket on the 08th of nov for rambo circus for the next day. I provided my contact details. However, i did not receive the ticket confirmation on my phone number.

          When i called bookmyshow on the date of the show it took 50 minutes to get connected to the customer care department. By that time the show has already started. When i asked them why i did not receive the confirmation on my phone they told me this is because i have put a zero before the phone number. First of all a phone number with zero and without zero is the same as per standards. Second if bookmyshow system does not accept zero before number, then the booking system should have thrown an error.

          Lastly the pathetic customer service only resulted in wastage of time. Had the customer service been timely i would have been able to recover my ticket.

          I have asked for a refund but i was denied the same.

            Dear team,

            Ticket details attached here for your reference, sms not get the confirmation from book my show [protected].
            My person took screen shot and went move movie theater and management not accepted screen shot and not asking about confirmation tickets email & sms
            Movie theater management asking about the mail confirmation and sms we can able to provide in front of them. This not happen and my person went booking office purchase new ticket.

            Traction details there, booking id there, seat number there. Hence who will sit my seat in movie.
            I am very disappointed with customer service executive with he is given answer.

            I did not understand one thing here, some is stolen my phone and took screen shot and then go the movie, is the right way answer to giving like this.
            Provide me proper response and close this issue or else we will go for consumer court.

              I have tried to book tickets from bookmyshow website and i have successfully paid the amount (Rs 903 approx) from gpay for 16th november 6:15 pm show of ford vs ferrari. The amount has been deducted by gpay. However, i did not see or receive any tickets being booked and also didn’t receive any message on confirmation. Can you please help? It will be really appreciative if the refund could be initiated immediately.

                Bookmyshow always shows you have loads of offers available and you can redeem them using the reward points, utsav rewards, payback points etc. But the truth is that not even a single time their system of redeeming works and it always ends up in failure. The transaction will end up in failure if you are using any offers. They are making people fool by showing many offers but in actual terms none of the offers work and their system is set up in such a way that all payments with offers are rejected. Once rejected they ask for upto 10 days for your amount to be returned of the points redeemed to be returned. As a customer why should i wait for problems created by them. Why should i give them my money/points to keep. If they cant give the offer, immediate refund of money or points should be done. Even today i booked tickets and the problem shows today was " something is not right they redeemed my points worht rs 803 rs and no tickets nor no refund or not even a message regarding tickets. My points are gone? How can this be a problem? Something is not right? Why would i care about something not right? The problem is not from my side. Bookmyshow does this every single time if you are using any offers. I need to file /lodge a complaing against bookmyshow for their fraudulent activities and cheating customers in terms of offers.

                  A thing which is regularly happening while booking tickets through bookmyshow by my union bank debit card is that the payment is deducted from my bank account but they always show failed transaction. Lately this has happened quite a few times. Then i have to book tickets from my icici bank card then it goes through. Can u please tell me as to what problem you have with union bank. And i[censored] have some problem then why don't you mention on your app/website that you are. Not accepting payments from union bank cards. So that we may find some alternative solutions. Waiting for your reply. Thanks.

                  The online movie booking site ‘book my show’ is still charging the internet handling fees even though RBI has said it shouldn’t be charged. The fees they are charging is exorbitant and it is bad. Can someone do something against this?
                  Have not received e tickets after bank account debited amount 485.72

                      I booked my bigil movie 3 tickets for the showtime 06.45pm ist, 29-10-19, in gk cinemas porur, chennai, tamilnadu on 27-10-19 for the value of 421.50/- inr. On 28-10-19 received a message stating 80/- per ticket has been revised and please pay at the counter from bmshow. The govt has given permission only for 110/- plus online booking charges. But these cinema theater owners and book my show fellows creating demand and are misusing, collecting extra money.
                      Will these be stopped by concerned officials.

During payment some error occured, my transaction was cancelled, but my amount was deducted from my account.please help me to get my refund ASAP. I called bookmyshow customer care, they are speaking lethargically and they told me to wait for 4 working days. But nobody bother about this problem.                           My friend was booking ticket from book my show app for joker movie through payzapp wallet on which we were getting 25% cashback but after entering all the details and clicking on pay button, it showed that payment failed, we thought that it might be due to some mobile issue so i also tried to book ticket through book my show app via payzapp wallet but same thing happened to me, payment failed and amount also deducted from payzapp wallet, book my show app automatically took me to the page of lazypay which only asked to verify your number, i thought it might be the general process due to which my payment failed, instead, my ticket got booked in an instant, i thought amount has been deducted from payzapp so mobile verification was the only issue after which my ticket got booked but instead i started receiving texts that lazy pay has book tickets on my behalf and i have to pay them back full amount without the perk of cashback which i could have received if book my show accepted the payment through payzapp because they are also involve in this fraud. Before booking also they didn't ask that lazy pay will book my ticket, instead it asked like some fraudster for the verification of my mobile no. And now the ticket costed me much more amount and there customer service says that we are sorry you won't be getting any cashback you have to pay to lazypay full amount. Why is it so when i never wanted lazy pay to pay for my tickets. I have attached the screenshot of payment from payzapp also and lazypay also which show that payment from payzapp was successfull but book my show never approved the payment because they are into fraud business with lazypay.

                            Tried booking ticket in bookmyshow website... Amount has been deducted but ticket is not booked it says transaction timeout for the booking. Transaction made in google pay.
                            I didn't receive any confirmation email for the booking... It throwed time out message

                              Bookmyshow.com's mismanagement resulted us in missing out 50% of match. They did not have adequate staff and equipment to print tickets that were bought online in advance. Thousands of people were required to show their QR code and get tickets printed at ticket counter. Since there was no management people became unruly ensuing chaos. After waiting with family in heat for hours the Police took charge and declared those with QR code to proceed into stadium. It was 1pm by the time we got entry into the stadium. When our PM is promoting digital why did bookmyshow.com insist on prints of tickets? On top of it their scanning machine was not working.

                                I was trying to book 3 tickets for joker on 13th october for the next day and i selected the google pay option to pay for the tickets. It showed me a timer during which the window got closed but i received a message from bookmyshow to pay the amount from google pay. Thereby i made the payment and it was successful but i saw no tickets were booked.

                                There has been no refund of the money since i have not got any tickets booked but paid for the same.

                                  We had booked two tickets for the movie “Joker” at Cinepolis: Acropolis Mall for 7th October, 2019; Monday.

                                  We arrived at the hall, got our codes scanned and got to our seats, and to our surprise some other people had the same seats as us.

                                  Upon escalation of the issue to the personnel at the ticket counter, we found out that the date on our ticket was wrong and of 8th October, 2019; Tuesday.

                                  To confirm the fact that it wasn’t fault on our part, we were notified by the app that it was time for us to switch to “Movie Mode” as it was our movie time. (Screenshot attached)

                                  The following facts prove that the booking done by us was right and not our fault:
                                  1. The QR code was accepted by the counter on 7th October, 2019 and it wouldn’t have been if it was our mistake with the date
                                  2. The app notification that it was movie time as per our reservation on Monday (which is the day we booked the tickets for, but not given)

                                  To compensate for our wasted time and efforts, we request our tickets to be compensated for by a refund.

                                  We have tried to reach their customer support but they didn’t even read the mails properly to understand the situation.

                                    Its been one month that i have raised a issue regarding bank of baroda debit mastercard offer but till now my complaint is not being resolved and the offer i have to use it within 1 month of the first booking im trying to avail this offer from last 3 weeks daily but cant use it. Calling bookmyshow nowadays is a very hard process it takes 20 min to connect my call and afterwards the customer can't resolve my issue and disconnect my call in between and gave me another incident id 9730985
                                    I booked three tickets for tomorrow's show for WAR at inox jangpura extn delhi at 12:30, after the booking, we realized the seats were changed to the last row even though the whole hall is empty. I kindly request you to change my seats as it was a fault from the booking app side.
                                    I am trying to contact customer care but not succeed because long waiting even i mail to book my show help desk but helpless..i failed to get my exact booking seat because book my show careless services and behavior.
                                    please refund my money soon as possible. an as penalty give me free movie ticket that i fail to book

                                      Below is the transaction id from googlepay.

                                      Amount is deducted and transaction is success from googlepy. But bookmyshow shown me payment failed and ticket was not booked.

                                        I am booking for adhayaretri malayalam movie at around oct 5 8.20pm for 11 am show at on 6 oct 2019. I paid through the google pay by using this number [protected] and email loged in [protected]@gmail.com. Google pay upi transaction id is[protected] and google pay transaction id is cicagkd425becathe amount of 873 s paid but after i paid this amount i cannot get tickets through any means like email and showed transaction timed out. Please solve this problem as soon as possible.

                                        I had made my first credit card transaction from bookmyshow app and couple of hours after that two fraud transaction happened on my card.
                                        Bookmyshow is not keeping card details safely and their employees are misusing your card details to make a international transaction which does not require a OTP.
