After a payment failure twice from bookmyshow's end, website blocked my paid coupon code.

Since i had to complete the booking, completed with another gateway and bookmyshow charged me thrice for one booking. Customer care representative told me i will be getting a new voucher for the same in 24 hours. Received a mailed after 24 hours citing they were unable to generate voucher code

This is a big fraud from there end. Please help

Dear sir,
I have booked 5 tickets for a movie on 01/02/2019, amount has been debited from my account but the tickets are not booked.
I can't avail offer of my debit card .That is to get one ticket free.
My card has eligibility for the offer I don't know why it's showing that offer is not valid
I have paid my ticket booking amount through google pay on 10.03.19 . the amount has been deposited to the bank but the tickets weren"t booked. may the possible way to refund the amount

    My wife had called bookmyshow yesterday it was not received and after few minutes an executive from bookmyshow called back. When i wife mentioned what she is looking for, he said he will guide her though and took her through steps to register and something. While doing that immediately he charged close to 80k on the card, we got worried and he started saying he did that by mistake, but when we checked he bank the money has gone to multiple different places such as amazon pay etc. And when we called back he started saying sorry that he will reverse the money and started asking other bank account no. We realized he is fooling us and said we will go to police he started saying he will loose his job at bookmyshow and he will reverse the amount, but that did not seem genuine and we disconnected the call. Looks like while guiding my wife to register he stole credit card info from the mobile app. We have lost more than 80k, can you imagine???
    Bookmyshow seems like a place for fraud people. Please help us here.

        I booked kgf movie in bookmyshow.com but money got debited and transaction did not go though.. It got debited but transaction got failed please check and refund my money.

        I bought the tickets using google pay, the amount was debited but I didnt receive any ticket booking confirmation.I tried once again, this time using my card and it worked.I want to enquire as to when I will get my amount credited as I am in dire need of it.

          Hi,

          I am Umesh gonelwar(cell no [protected]). I booked 5 tickets for Thakhrey using BookMyShow.com for Radhakrishna carnival, Chandrapur, for 12:45PM show for date 26 january 2019 using UPI
          After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.
          But an amount of Rs 787.00 was debited from my account.
          I waited for around 20-25 minutes, but i didn't receive any sms or e-mail from book my show for confirmation of tickets but i did receive sms from citibank for deduction of money.

          Now, After 20 minutes . i again tried to book some other 5 tickets and i received sms and mail from book my show this time.

          So, basically money for my 1st transaction should be refunded bookmyshow as it didn't handle the transaction properly and deducted amount without booking the seats.

          I contacted the on-line customer care executives also but they also just say that we will contact you as soon as possible but then there is no reply/respose.

          I request a refund of Rs.787.60 from bookmyshow.

            I am Ramesh. I booked 3 tickets on 25th December 2018 12:27 PM ' using BookMyShow.com for Sarada Movies Edappal, Kerala 6:30PM show 26th December 2019 using my SBI Debit card
            After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'Hi there! Sorry your BookMy show transaction failed. Payment Rs. 349.59 recd. The money will be refunded back to payment source within a maximum of 10 working days.
            Now I am waiting almost one month to get the money back, so far I havn't received the refund money or any email or message from you.

            So I request you to refund the money as soon as possible.

            Today I booked ticket manikarnika at ashokanil miraj cinema ulhasnagr. I also booked food service online but i did not get my food. Even i reminde about my food booking but i did nt get. I get very disappointed due to very poor service

                      After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.

                      Me and my family has rated for film Short Circuit but I can't see anyones comment there.

                          I have booked 4 movie tickets amounted rs 522.80/- using phonepe upi transaction. Ticket not booked but money deducted from my bank account and a cashback of 30/- has been got to the phonepe wallet. But not showing the transaction failed in the purchase history and any other information regarding this booking in the bookmyshow app and no messeges came to my mobile number saying about the refunds... I want my money back...!!!

                            I paid using amazon pay as i have cash back offer but at the end of the transaction i'm getting #-2105 error, this happened to me continuously for 3 times, 2 today and 1 before a month. Just wanted to know if book my show is trying to loot money from customers as all three times money has been detucted from my bank account. High time bookmyshow need attention on this issue.

                              I raised an incident id - [#7691182] ] but no response from book my show! Details below. I tried to follow up nd they gave this ticket number and after that nothing, no response.
                              On 24.12.2018 i wrote to them:hello bookmyshow team,
                              The below tickets were booked and i haven't received any cancellation or reimbursement but when my parents went to the theatre with the message and ticket they said the seat is already given away and the booking is cancelled.
                              My parents had to travel such a long distance to watch the movie and end up in such unnecessarily discussions and no seats for them, when they have no idea what the theatre people is making such adjustments with the seat.
                              The booking and the extra charges are paid to book my show by the intention that it is hustle free and planned.
                              They informed the parents that this ticket is cancelled but i don't have any mail or message confirmation regarding this.
                              Please get back to me what has happened.

                              Hello bookmyshow team

                              Did you have a check on what has happened that day for the booked movie ticket?
                              Don't you think, when we book we also pay the money to block the seats and the service payment for bookmyshow, rather than going and booking the tickets front of the counter.
                              So for the extra money paid its expected that the service and insurance of the ticket is takencare.in this case my parents were initially taken to the seta and later told the ticket is taken by someone from counter. How is that possible in first place? I booked the ticket so that my parents have a good comfortable watch of the movie and not to scare our old people by acting smart, as though they are technologically illiterate. Finally my surprise for them ended up in a pain. It's not at ethical to entertain such instances and that is why i am writing to you. At least it shouldn't repeat for people in similar situations that the theatre informs in prior whether they are cancelling or selling it off to someone. This is a very bad experience for anyone for that sake.
                              Hope you can understand the concern and find the reason.

                                I booked a movie ticket on december 14nth 2018 for rs. 170.89 and the ticket was not generated and amount is debited from my account.
                                So i have contacted their helpdesk and conveyed thus issue to them. They said that the refund transaction is initiated from their side on december 14nth itself. So i have waited for 10 days as per their policy.
                                After that period also the amount is not credited to my account. And i again enquired about it on 27 december. So they said that the previous transaction was failed and the refund is being initiated manually and said me to wait till january 9th 2019.
                                So i again waited till january 9th as they said. But now also the amount the not credited to my account.
                                So that i am giving this complaint and please take care of this issue and do needful

                                After giving this complaint they have send me an email proving me the RRN. So I contacted my home branch and within 2 days the refund has been credited.

                                  Digitalization is the biggest movement in india at present and everyone is looking forward this progressive move.
                                  However some organizations like bookmyshow are taking disadvantage of the this amazing movement.
                                  Bookmyshow is charging internet conveyance fee for every ticket booked online. If consumer books 5 tickets in single transaction then consumer has to pay internet conveyance charges for 5 tickets even when all the tickets are booked in single transaction.
                                  This is most very leeching attempt of the customer's rights and values. Instead of charging for every ticket they should charge respectable amount per transaction.
                                  My amount was deducted but I didn't got tickets and SMS or email

                                    I send the money to book my show movie ticket app through google pay for movie on (05.12.2018).. But the confirmation is not received by bookmyshow.. The transaction is failed.. They saying they refunded the amount but still am not received... The amount is 1366.75... The refund is still not received please kindly help me...1 month more but still i didn't received my amount

                                        I am Priya, I booked four tickets for Tamil film 2.0 3D on 03.01.2019 for the show timing 3.15 p.m. At the time of booking, a charge of Rs.30 for each ticket was collected additional towards 3D. But on return the specs was collected back by the theatre employees stating that it is returnable. I believe, if such policies are in existence then the theatre should have not collected the extra charge or in the bill it should have been mentioned as rental charges.

                                        I think theatres are violating the rules and regulations. It is bit frustrating that consumer is pushed to the corner on spending money for such business strategies.

                                        Is our Government is only going to keep watching this or going to take steps to save the consumers.
