I got a bookmyshow voucher wortnh rs. 600. I tried to book 3 movie tickets using this, the total cost was rs.594 (Inclusive of all taxes and fees) but it showed that the amount payable was rs.94 still. So i went back to previous page and when i try to apply the offer again it doesnt work. Even after waiting and trying again it doesnt work. Totally fed up. Please solve this problem

    The redemption code of bookmyshow is not working its showing error. Eventhough i booked two days in advance for the movie jhonny english ur voucher dosent work. They are scamming people with the fake vouchers. More over the voucher says in 600 rupees we can buy the ticket but when booking only it showed 141 rupees discount and then error occurred after that i was unable to book my ticket. As per the rules of the voucher i booked two days in advance and in weekdays, but still i did not get any free tickets. I got this vocher after shopping at max. Vocher name is denim it up. They are scamming people. The reference id - 7031377, was given by them for my complaint after that my email wasnt responded by them. I need the refund of my two tickets because of the waste of my time energy and money.

    I booked a movie ticket they debited money from my tez UPI but ticket get cancelled and they said that the money will be refunded within 24 hours but still I haven't received any mail. But in the mail they have mentioned it as 10 days it took so long process so I suffered lot.
    I had received a message from HDFC bank that
    Congratulations! You have won a BookMyShow voucher XXXXX worth Rs. 100 for your HDFCBank Debit Card transactions in Jul 2018. Voucher valid till 20Jan19. I tried using the code given but it shows Sorry, this winpin/moviemoney code does not exist or is already used (#2101).
    This is how they cheat people..book my show is fooling people. I urge all the people to stop using this app for booking the movie tickets.

      I have booked two ticket for the movie chekka chivandha vaanam on september 27 today.. Through amazon pay wallet.. I didn't receive the tickets but the amount of rs. 177 has been deducted from my account.. It is showing that transaction is still in process but i didn't get any confirmation message still now. Please do the favour and refund my money...

        max movie voucher unable to use error code (#-4011)

        While using the movie voucher which is given by max shopping mall... The msg showing like "sorry the offer is locked to mobile number while generating the code. The mobile which i was used another one of mine instead of was given to max store and bookmyshow also.. After i sent msg to registered number but system saying already used please use fresh code......

        I was booking two tickets for flat no 609 at cinepolis, acropolis mall, kolkata. Paid through amazon pay where it shows that the amount has already been deducted from my balance with two separate transaction ids... But my tickets did not arrive. Received a "transaction is still in process" message from bookmyshow telling me to wait a few minutes... It's been 1h 20mins now, the show is in an hour and i haven't received my tickets yet. I've really waited enough, please intiate refund immediately.

        I am simranjeet singh, i booked 3 tickets for parahuna movie. My tickets are not confirmed. I did’nt receive confirmation of tickets and the sum of 896.28 is deducted from my account..please solve this issue nd refunded my money.

          From the day i saw the trailer of the movie named "manto" starring nawazuddin siddiqui, i was so excited to watch this movie and decided to myself that i will grab a first day show. But when i opened the bookmyshow app to see the show timings, i noticed that the movie was not released in my location that's nashik, maharashtra, india. I'm so disappointed to see that the movies like this are not being pushed into the crowd. Instead, i saw a large number of shows of "batti gul meter chalu" and some other movies running in the multiplex. I just wanna know why is it so? And why "manto" is not screening here in nashik. Please give me a genuine feedback.

            Max shopping centre is providing movie vouchers worth rupees 600.
            When i am booking tickets online and trying to redeem the offer of rupees 600 they are saying that it is not valid for specific days whereas the voucher is valid till 15 days of promo code generation that is october 5, 2018.
            How can i redeem the offer and book tickets?
            Why book my show is not allowing it?
            Please resolve as soon as possible.

              Being a well known e-commerce platform/company it is the matter o[censored]tmost shame for your company to say that customers are misguided & cheated by your pathetic offers. In my case, I shop for Rs 2500/-and got voucher worth Rs 600/-for movies.When I started booking the show and applied the coupon code, it didnt work and displayed a message that booking has to be done before 2days and now the validity is 15days from now once you have applied the code.After 12days when I tried to book show again on weekend then it showed the message as per attached screenshot.

              Now the point of embarrassment is that why do you give such useless/worthless vouchers coupled with such terms and conditions & unnecessary limitations/restrictions that a person has to mull at least 100times before redeeming it..For a working person only day when he/she can redeem such vouchers is weekends and your company has put specific limitations especially on those days.There is no flexibility with respect to redemption of vouchers.Also these limitations are not disclosed before hand.This is completely a trap for genuine buyers. Ashamed of this act of 'Bookmyshow'.Would never suggest anyone to book from your site.
              You people are literally harassing customers with these pathetic kind of acts.

                  I am from pondicherry. I have noticed that the internet handling charges for booking an online movie ticket is varying by huge margin for different regions.in pondicherry, the charges for the same is more than 28% excluding the gst for it.

                  I know that the convenience fee is your source of income and your business strategy to charge every single ticket instead of every payment is giving you more profits for the time being.

                  After all this, the heavy differential charges you levy on two tier towns like pondicherry is very unfair and i request you to address the issue soon.
                  On 15th Aug Movie tickets booked Money deducted from Bank Account and transaction failed. Refund will be in 10days but it is almost 20 days but refuned is not received yet
                  I didn't received booking confirmation for 3 tickets after doing transaction using bhim app trans no.[protected] ..I lost the money rs 372.18.. I have attached the screenshot of transaction..

                    Extremely disappointed to find that the movie screening is cancelled after reaching at the theatre.
                    I wasted my time and travelled 20km in bangalore traffic to reach the theatre.
                    No communication from bookmyshow.
                    Is this what you do? This experience has made me to never book any tickets at bookmyshow.

                    1. Why did i suffer because of improper communication between bookmyshow and theatre?
                    2. Why my phone to bookmyshow was not picked up after multiple attempts?
                    3. Why is the theatre claiming that they communicated well in advance?
                    4. How did you perform booking of stree movie at 9:45 pm in single screen theatre when you have sold the tickets of yamla pagla diwana to me at the same time?

                      Myself dheeraj kumar singh, i booked a tiket from bookmyshow.com for the movie satyamev jayate, before the payment it was showing the correct movie name but after payment booking changed to the movie name happy phir bhag jayegi that i do not want to watch. When i contacted to customer care they denied to change movie and also denied to refund my amount. This is totally cheating and activity of black money collection indirectly. Such cheating website should be closed.

                        I have booked two tickets online with booking id: skdt00ubrgqpzf, first class diamond circle: b11, b12 seats on 14th aug, for the movie geeta govindam 15th aug, 2018, 11.15am show. At sri kanaka durga theatre, narsapur. But the seats were sold to the other as blacktickets and not allowed to enter me. I entered into the theatre premises at 10.00am, but not the bookings were opened. The ticket counters were opened at 10.30 am and said that all tickets were sold out. I have shown my mobile ticket message, but they denied. I have no option to put a complaint against theatre authorities to the district collector, w. G. Dt, for this type o[censored]nfair practices and blocking the tickets, selling at higher prices.

                          Hlww me from kerala.. Today morning booked 3 tickets for vishwaroopam 2 through bookmyshow app in jb cinemas theatre nallila (Kollam district).. Showtime was 2.45 pm. When we reach there theatre owner and employees told that there is no current and need a minimum of 10 people.. Totally disappointed by the people's behavior.. As a common man travelled more than 10 kms was really fedup with the incident.. Kindly take proper action for this. Thank u

                            We book the tickets of a movie for 7:45 pm srs patiala but technically the confirmed tickets are given to us for another movie at 5:00 pm show .. consumer care totally harrAshed us we pay all charges without any of our faults . So much harrashed by bookmyshow . All money and time wasted . No option to book the show which we want to watch total fraud

                              Subject: forced to leave theatre with mental agony

                              Timeline
                              1717 hrs
                              Booked 2 tickets for 2240 hrs show in cinemas
                              2145 hrs
                              Reached premises awaiting for print out at counter
                              2205 hrs
                              Got print out of ticket and was inside the premises
                              2230 hrs
                              Checked with refreshment counters at level 1 since no one was in the fort screen at level 2 where the show is to be screened

                              2240 hrs
                              Staff comes and instructs us to leave since there were low occupancy. I wanted to talk to duty manager. He said only 2 of the seats are sold and if wants us to play the movie he will oblige. Or he will refund. We said having travelled so much 25kms away we want the show to start. He said he is going to play d movie.
                              We also insisted to play d movie.
                              We were let in and the movie was played for 2 mins.

                              2245 hrs
                              Suddenly it’s stopped and 4 staffs punge inside the screen they claimed that d play is stopped from distributor side.
                              I talked to bms support
                              Bms cs person talked with staff and asked to check if any other shows can be arranged.
                              But actually it was the last show of the biz hours and other movies have past 15+mins of screening

                              We are at manager cabin
                              Manage falsely alleges that kdm distributor have cancelled the show and there were 5 more ticket which were cancelled.
                              He rudely said that bms collects the service fares and talk with them. I said that cinema is the service provider and we will talk with u only. He then said in harsh unpolite manner that we can do whatever and he is not responsible for it. We were literally turned down of all rights. He is telling us to read the terms and conditions for details at the odd hours.

                              It was no use to be inside the premises and we left the cinemas with a heavy heart...

                              Conclusion

                              It was the worst of all experience i have had. There were lot of mental agony due to the way they treated.
                              If the cinemas had no intention to play the show then y allow booking??
                              I don’t want the refund alone. I want all my expenses to and fro. The dinner expense we had that very night.

                              Coupon on credit for next 3d show.

                              I want the details of the 5 other seat cancellation done by the manager as he claimed. Initially he said only 2 i[censored]s are ther for the show later says there are 5 more. Total 7 pax. How can he contradict his statement??

                              An apology for the duty managr for being rude and unprofessional.

                              If not all my claims are approved and duly fulfilled. I’m going to raise this up to consumer forum for legal proceedings.

                              I will close my account and my friend who accompanied me also plans to close the bms account and he is also going to take it up legally by filing separate claim.

                                I filed a complaint against book my show for refund my wrongly deducted amount, they said with in 10 days the refund will be done. I filed a complaint on 14th july now date is 26th july.. Still no response about my complaint status. This is very bad experience and also the reputation of the organization further reduced with these type of experiences to the customers..
                                So i requested you to kindly solve my complaint and refund the amount as soon as possible sir thank you..

                                  I tried booking ticket on 30 june for sanju movie in inox brookfield. Ticket didn't get book and rs 312 got deducted. I called the concern person at inox, they confirmed ticket has not booked. Your amount will be refunded. So far in next 24 days it has not come in my account.

                                  I called them again today and they are telling we can't do anything. Please help.

                                    I had booked two tickets through book my show booking ID:PRBT00M1WHY2P6 on 15.07-2018 in Mumbai(Borivali) of one play show for my mother and her friend who is age is above 50 years on 23/07/2018 but than language was know to be in marathi she can not understand language .Just to inform you further location was also very far from our place . The complain was registered on the same day. But no action have have been taken They are saying as to travel from kalyan
                                    to Borivali in heavy rains attend that show as it can not be refunded or cancelled .

                                    Kindly do the needful at earliest.

                                      I booked movie tickets on 14/07/2018 at 11:55 on book my show through payzapp from my a/c number[protected] it showing that amount we're deducted but tickets not booked and any information about that transaction not came. The customer care is not providing any information I was very shocked and booked for spent another amount I lost my valuable time and money. The relevant screenshots are attached with this complaint please check thank you.
                                      It's already 10 days for my complaint.. still no response very bad it is..
