There was issue in bookmy show to update 102 not out movie data. Was showing and hiding movie name of q02 not out.in between i booked ticket and co firmed ticket of 4th may instead of 6th may. Amount deducted and now bookmy show is unable to exchange or cancel ticket even though technical issue at bookmy show app level. It's a cheater and fraud app

    ticket not booked but amount deducted

    I was trying to book movie ticket from bms and paying from freecharge.
    Below is the transaction id from freecharge.

    Order id : v75njhkmxldfp1_moband[protected]_1 ₹631

    Amount is deducted and transaction is success from freecharge. But bms shown me transaction time out and ticket was not booked.
    Please help me to resolve this issue and help to get back my money in freecharge wallet....

    Mistakenly i booked 3 ticket on 27th april rather on 28th april
    however i have also booked a 3 ticket for the same movie on 28th april
    i would like to request you to please refund the amount of 3 tickets on 27 th april as soon as possible
    This is very bad when i am trying it says sorry try after sometime,

    Not acceptable!

      I have been trying to book tickets using the complimentary bookmyshow voucher / winpin vouchers provided by hp. On applying the vouchers i am getting a discount of rs 1500 instantly but am unable to complete the transaction by making the rest of the payment by credit/debit card, internet banking or wallet.

      It is giving me an error no.: 25005 every time i am trying. I have raised complaints in bookmyshow but they are not fixing this. Customer book tickets based on needs, if we have not getting any resolution what is the purpose of customer care. Really disgusted and frustrated like anything. Worst website.

      And so many users are facing the same issue but have n't got any resolution for this. Y this false commitment from bookmyshow.

      Guys aware of bookmyshow. Please book tickets in ticketnew, or theatre owned websites.

        This has reference to booking - gxck[protected] made today morning. 8 tickets were booked for 3.10 show at gmax kollam by paying rs 1346. I along with 7 others which included my parents, wife, daughter, brother & his family reached the cinema hall before 3 pm & informed the booking clerk about my booking. The booking clerk seemed totally confused & instead of directly giving me a response, went & spoke to the manager mr govind. The manager called me inside & without even a trace of regret told me very bluntly in an impolite manner that the show had been cancelled as there were less than 15 people for the movie & as if doing me a favour told that my money would credited back to my account by bookmyshow in 10 working days.
        Neither bookmyshow nor the office bearers of gmax kollam should be under the impression that those who come to watch movies are all fools & would digest any rubbish dished out without blinking an eyelid. When i booked ticket in the morning, more than 4 rows were already booked / occupied which meant that there were atleast 32 people for the show at the time of my booking in the morning itself. So for mr govind to state at 3 pm that there were less than 15 people for the 3.10 show obviously seemed to suggest some other motive for cancelling the show. And though mr govind was not willing to acknowledge, the reason was quite simple. Mr govind very conveniently rescheduled the malayalam movie for which i had booked ticket with the english movie - avengers as there were more viewers for that movie. It is really difficult to fathom as to how your system works. Does it work according to the whims and fancies of people like mr govind who can cancel /reschedule a show for which payment has been made without even assigning any reason or informing the customers before hand. And as far as bookmyshow's professionalism or rather lack of professionalism is concerned, the less said the better. Cancelation information for 3.10 show is given at 4.58 pm.
        And as i have mentioned above, i don't require your oft repeated standard reply stating that my money will be recredited in 10 days. I don't require a favour from you for getting my money back. It's my right to get back the full amount of rs 1346 debited from my account for booking the tickets. Please note that i expect a full refund of 1346 including online booking charges, gst etc.in case of any deductions, i will not hesitate even for a second to initiate appropriate action which i deem fit. Please note that this is not a veiled threat but an open warning.

            Hey my friend actually booked 2 tickets for avengers infinity war film, on 25th april 2018. The show we are about to watch is today ie.28th april 2018 morning 10:15 am at tivoli theatres hyderabad. Neither he nor me received a mail or sms confirming the movie tickets. I am annoyed with this late response from the team of book my show. Please look into it and help me solve this problem as it is kind o[censored]rgent.

              I mistakely placed my ticket on Saturday instead of Sunday, and when i realised it and i am going to the BMS website i see there is no option of cancellation even you cannot change date. Even by using paytm i saw a cancellation process which is only a payment gateway and this site is intentionally make for booking tickets of movies and so many things and not take a look towards customer problems. It is very shamful thing for a marketing factor where you don't look through the customer problems. I never use BMS in that case and also say to my friends to not use it, until they do not add a cancellation process. We are happily give some charges in case of cancellation instead of convenience fee which. I m requesting to take a look towards my problem. I m attaching a pic where booking id is showed of my tickets, and expected a rapid action from BMS and if they are not acted it automatically showed how they are cheap and their selfishness.

                I just booked the movie ticket through bookmyshow app and bymistake i selected the combo option as well and when i made the payment i recognised that i had ordered the combo as well and it cost me hell lot of money due to which my account has gone to minimum balance.. Then straightaway i called bookmyshow support centre but nobody picked up the phone and i was in queue from last half an hour.. I again called bookmyshow and i was again made...

                  Offer was 1 ticket free with icici debit card but after booking when i did not received refund, i read conditions and then came to know it was for specific type of debit card. this is bad you should have said specific type of card in offer.
                  i am cheated.

                    Hello i am unable to book avengers infinity war 3d tickets for monday show time in allahabad city, uttarpradesh. While booking only friday saturday and sunday options are showing which is almost full. I want to book monday show in english.                       I booked a movie ticket to watch rampage on 20/04/18 at carnival theatres in greenfield, trivandrum
                      This is my booking id-wr3ph43
                      Upon reaching the venue, i was told that they did not receive the content yet, although booking was available on bookmyshow app.
                      I had to leave work early and had to travel a long distance to get to the venue. They told me they will provide a seat for the next show which was at 10:45 pm which was not possible for me.

                      I demand compensation and refund for this issue asap

                          With due respect i would like to inform that the booking i d sych[protected] seat no c1, c2 balcony on april 16 2018 at surya cinemas nedumangadu trivandrum, was for newly released film mohanlal, through book my show app. Above film was booked on april 16 morning itself. But was informed that the show was canceled when we reached the theater. Without the timely information about the show cancellation our time and fund was explained purposely...

                            I booked 3 tickets for 7th april saturday for grubfest and got confirmation for 8th april. When i called back to get the same cancelled bookmyshow team instead of helping me out or resolving it for me straight away refused it

                            Trust me this is my worst experience ever and will never consider using bookmyshow again.

                            Just gives me a clear idea about the company, they just want money in their pockets.

                            Or inshort loot money from people

                            I hope they anyhow pay for such behaviour. Am really frustrated

                            We are sorry to inform that the status of a confirmed booking cannot be altered in form of cancellation or exchange or refund of tickets. Once the tickets are confirmed we are unable to cancel, exchange, refund or manually modify as the tickets are booked with the cinema directly and since they have a zero cancellation policy we have to abide by the rules set by cinema. You can certainly gift these tickets to family/ friends and bring a smile on their face.

                                Last thursday (March 29, 2018) i had booked two tickets for a preview show at wave noida for the film ready player one. The show timing was 6 pm, and the seat numbers i booked were k4 and k5.. We reached the multiplex about 10 minutes before the the show, and were told the show has been cancelled. I asked for a refund of the ticket booking amount, which was rs 421. The guy at the hall paid me around rs 60 less, saying something about the remaining amount being deducted as internet booking cost or something like that.
                                That sounds like outright fraud. On one hand book my show is meant to be all about online booking, and claims to provide the luxury of booking tickets sitting at home, and avoiding the queue at halls. On the other hand, if i book through book my show, i stand the risk of being cheated of cash and lose money.
                                In fact, this is the second time in succession that i have had a bad experience with book my show, within a matter of weeks.
                                I am seriously thinking of not using this service again. Better to book directly on the website of the halls.

                                  I had booked two tickets for baaghi-2 movie at lakshmi theatre tavarekere. I had paid through paytm a sum of rs 361. The booked seat no are a10 and a11 in diamond class for evening show. The amount had deducted but i did not get any confirmation sms or mail for booked tickets.
