Friday morning, 6th october 2017, my daughter calls me up to ask if i was free in the evening & that usha uthup is live in concert at dublin square (Phoenix market city, kurla) since i am a huge fan o[censored]sha uthup, she booked 2 tickets from book my show @500/- each + taxes (Total 1, 280/-for 2 tickets) 8.30pm was the timing given on the e ticket
I am 59 yrs & my husband is 71 yrs old, we somehow reached the venue at 8 pm so as to get front place since it was first come first served basis. We did the registration, got our tickets in hand & were told to come back at 9 pm since there was another private programe going on inside the venue & that we would be allowed inside only after that got over.
We waited& waited & the previous program went on & on. I went back to the registration table around 9.30 to inquire & ask to refund my money since it was getting too late. I was told that even if the previous programe ended late we would get to watch 90 minutes o[censored]sha uthup.
Being a big fan o[censored]sha uthup, i decided to wait some more time.
The venue was empty, more than half the crowd walked away & the rest went off to have their drinks & dinner & we were left there waiting patiently & hungry for usha uthup to start
At last at 11pm usha uthup comes on stage & says she has to wind up in 30 mins since the mall closes at 11pm.
She being an excellent entertainer, rocked the small crowd that stayed back.
The most dissapointing evening of our lives,
We felt so cheated by the way things were organised.
I want a reply, why were tickets sold by book my show when this was a (Ctc) private event???
Do you need to stoop down to such levels to make money??
Not done, waisting 2 1/2 hrs of senior citizens,
You have to be penalized for this
