We have booked 5 movie tickets of cost around inr 1200 (Booking id wn7xn99) but unfortunately 1 of the person felt sick and we were no more in a position to enjoy the show. We thought to cancel /postpone the date. Surprisingly, there is no option in the app and book my show was not supporting this in their customer facing business model. If it not addressed with proper reason, we have to reach to consumer forum/any governing body.

We certainly do understand the expectations of our valued and esteemed customers and we really strive hard to live up to their expectations.

Being ticketing aggregates have to abide by the rules laid by the cinemas/Organizer and hence cannot exchange, refund, cancel or make any manual modifications on a confirmed booking as cinemas do not have a cancellation policy

Dear team, I tried to book 3 Ticket from book my show without login (book my show).
From using [protected], unfortunately when I was my visa debit card payment failed and I quit the website but after some time., 15 Mint, I got message from my bank rs. 218.4 deducted using card swipe.
How I get my payment refund/back.

I didn't get seat confirmation. I have got only this message, your transaction is is still in process. We are yet to receive a response from the bank/cinema.

    I had booked tickets for a movie and bookmyshow refuses to cancel and refund my tickets. The cancellation is done even at the cinema theatre then why not on this middle man website. Their description and way of booking is also confusing and inadequate.

      I booked tickets for unnadi okkate zindagi movie through book my show. The tickets were issued for[protected] but the actual date of release of the movie was[protected]. I have raised a ticket request for this. I have been charged and there is no response from their end nor the refund for my amount. The show time waxs at 7:20 and there is no update though the ticket was raised.

        I booked tickets online on book my show for 8 pm show of golmaal again movie on 26th oct at roxy theatre, opera house. On the book my show website, i also chose to pre-book food & beverage (F&b) for a pop-corn & soft beverage combo worth inr 170.
        To my surprise and disappointment, when i redeemed the f&b coupons at the counters, i was handed small size popcorn worth rs 50 and pepsi worth rs 75 against the pre-booked f&b coupons.
        My complaint is against this cheating by book my show where they promise f&b worth rs. 170 which actually turns out to be of cheaper value when you endorse the coupons at the cinema hall counters. I would rather not book any f&b online and would save my money by buying directly at the cinema venue.

          I had booked04 tickets for the golmal again movie at rajhans, surat on 27.10.2017 via bookmyshow.com. Booking id - rjcs1883114

          By mistake, i inadvertently selected the date 25 october instead of 22 october. Upon confirmation of the same, as soon as i received the email confirmation, i realised my mistake and called bookmyshow as well as rajhans cinemas within 5 mins of the booking confirmation. Both flatly refused saying they have no olicy of refund, cancellation or rescheduling.

          This is a highly unfair, inappropriate and unjust policy. Its a human error, can happen...

            I had send an amount of 400/- from my sbi a/c through internet banking. My a/c is debited and my wallet is showing zero balance. The transaction particulars are as follows. I've been waiting for refund of my amount from past one month but there is no such one.

            se thet had conform at 12:17 and we are getting till 12:20 se this is cheating know what to do see

            They are send to there friend early email and us geting 20 min late email in world biggest gustlist i have got 20 min late email and one boy has got on 12 pm message and he has confirmed at 12:15pm and we have not got email and when got the holl tacket wer sold know what do tell me 😠😠😠😠?????

              I booked 4 tickets in ansal plaza but the place where i booked is vaishali nagar in gaziabad and i wanted to book in palam vihar gurgaon... The show was at 7:30pm in vaishali nagar and we went to ansal plaza in palam vihar at 7:30 pm in screen 3 but another movie was going on there... So we came back... We want money back if possible or arrangements of the tickets

                Sir on 18/9/2017 we booked two movie tickets for an english movie in mirag cinema bhilai chattisgarh. But unfortunately after the movie was screened for just five minutes electric supply went off and the screening was cancelled. The proprieters told to all the audience that the amount will be refunded to your account in 10 days but till now the amount has not been refunded

                  cancelled ticket amount not refunded

                  An amount of 4057/- has not been refunded by bookmyshow for a cancelled event after multiple calls/emails/follow-ups. They promise to help us in the refund process everytime but no action has been taken so far. Please take action against this company since they are just cheating us, nothing else. Havent seen a company more irresponsible and fraud.

                  I had booked 5 tickets for the lego ninjago movie at pvr cinemas, lower parel on 07.10.2017 via bookmyshow.com. Booking id - wqbm9l9

                  By mistake, i inadvertently selected the date 7 october instead of 11 october. Upon confirmation of the same, as soon as i received the email confirmation, i realised my mistake and called bookmyshow as well as pvr cinemas within 5 mins of the booking confirmation. Both flatly refused saying they have no olicy of refund, cancellation or rescheduling.

                  This is a highly unfair, inappropriate and unjust policy. Its a human error, can happen to anyone. Its unjust to flatly refuse any reconciliation.

                  The least the company can do is allow a cancellation or a reschedule with a marginal fee.

                  I request this be taken up seriously. Human errors so occur and there is always a solution possible, if the company is open to it.

                    Friday morning, 6th october 2017, my daughter calls me up to ask if i was free in the evening & that usha uthup is live in concert at dublin square (Phoenix market city, kurla) since i am a huge fan o[censored]sha uthup, she booked 2 tickets from book my show @500/- each + taxes (Total 1, 280/-for 2 tickets) 8.30pm was the timing given on the e ticket
                    I am 59 yrs & my husband is 71 yrs old, we somehow reached the venue at 8 pm so as to get front place since it was first come first served basis. We did the registration, got our tickets in hand & were told to come back at 9 pm since there was another private programe going on inside the venue & that we would be allowed inside only after that got over.
                    We waited& waited & the previous program went on & on. I went back to the registration table around 9.30 to inquire & ask to refund my money since it was getting too late. I was told that even if the previous programe ended late we would get to watch 90 minutes o[censored]sha uthup.
                    Being a big fan o[censored]sha uthup, i decided to wait some more time.
                    The venue was empty, more than half the crowd walked away & the rest went off to have their drinks & dinner & we were left there waiting patiently & hungry for usha uthup to start
                    At last at 11pm usha uthup comes on stage & says she has to wind up in 30 mins since the mall closes at 11pm.
                    She being an excellent entertainer, rocked the small crowd that stayed back.
                    The most dissapointing evening of our lives,
                    We felt so cheated by the way things were organised.
                    I want a reply, why were tickets sold by book my show when this was a (Ctc) private event???
                    Do you need to stoop down to such levels to make money??
                    Not done, waisting 2 1/2 hrs of senior citizens,
                    You have to be penalized for this

                      I am feeling really bad to file a complaint against you and i restrict me from doing that as i am a great fan of indian cricket and the tickets for the lone match in guwahati this year between india and australia 2nd t20 were shown unavailable on the bookmyshow app on my account but tickets were available at that time of rs 500 for student as i am a student of cotton college.
                      I am hurt very much with your act.
                      I have booked 3 tickets of spyder movie n I my movie ticket booking failed but my money got deducted from my debit card. BookMyShow is d worst app I have ever seen..cheaters...🖕🖕useless idiotic ppl
                      My 450₹ deducted without even tickets booking..pls make sure I get my money debited as fast as possible..by giving this complaint is there any use????
                      Yestarday I booked 6 tickets for mersal movie in kgcinemas. My seats were not confirmed but bookmyshow charged money for those tickets. Amount charged is 862.76 from my vodafone m-pesa wallet. Transaction ID is [protected]
                      24hrs has been passed but still i didnt get my money back to my m-pesa wallet.I need my money quickly

                        I was trying to check my voucher of 1000 rs on book my show in the main while random tickets for random date has been booked for 2 people cost of 500rs...

                        When i called the customer service the lady was rude...

                        This is bug difference when it's comes to customer service of india and us. Canada.

                        I shame to say that by doing is small tricks in system to give trouble to customer is wrong.

                        That's the problem here. Instead of helping trying to steal to make money.

                          A transaction of 184 rupees was made from my account but my ticket was not booked and cash also not returned.
                          So please give my money back.3 times i made transaction to buy 2 tickets. I want to buy tickets by using debit card through bookmyshow. But everytime my transaction failed but money was reduced from my account. So i request you to solve my problem.
                          I have brought 2 cinema ticket from bookmyshow today at 1a.m but due to bad weather I am not been able to attend the show. Please refund the amount as early as possible.

                            Hi Team,

                            This is the second time, that I am facing the same error, and hence resulting in loose of my one time offer.

                            Today I tried to book two tickets and all went good till the last error occurred saying : Failed to book Tickets.
                            Accordingly I have attached the screenshot of the error message.
                            I have no problems in booking the tickets again, but what matters is, that I have availed an offer, Cashback offer from IDFC Bank, which is valid only once per month.
                            And now, when I have availed the same, the tickets were not booked due to some error from BMS.
                            I want my offer back, and can't bare to loose the same just because of a failure from your side.

                              Sub: regarding non-refund of tickets ref booking id wql9jkm

                              Sir,
                              This is to inform you that we booked 5 (Five) tickets vide captioned booking id through bookmyshow app installed in our mobile. Unfortunately, tickets were booked at the wrong location i. E. At gwalior due to malfunction/error in your app, while right location is delhi where we reside and hail from. Please be noted that error in feeding location in app was not manual and not on our part, error is attributed to malfunction in your app. Due to this error, tickets become redundant for us and we could not use the tickets. We communicated this error/malfunction by making a call in your customer care and requested your customer care to cancel the tickets and refund the amount, but the reply from your customer care was little less than perfect. Therefore, we are escalating this issue via mail.

                              You are giving stereotype reply without looking into my complaint. Below are few points to substantiate my claims, you would appreciate

                              1. First, Why would I book tickets to Gwalior, while I resides in and hails from Delhi. We feed the “Delhi” Location in App, but due to bug in your App tickets were automatically directed to Gwalior and booked at Gwalior. Also you can confirm with my transaction history for my previous transactions. None of them was booked outside Delhi.

                              2. Second, I am not new to booking tickets through bookmyshow App. You can check transaction history in my account. I have not disputed any transaction before this. If I am disputing this transaction, then you must appreciate that error/bug is app generated not mine fault

                              3. Third, I informed beforehand to your team the bug occurred in your App and tickets were booked at wrong location.

                              4. Fourth, Under “chargeback” policy for online payments I am entitled to refund if dispute on payment is created within 24 hours.

                              I, therefore, call you upon to pay to me Rs. 1538/- within 1 days failing which I shall be bound to take legal recourse at your risks and costs.

                              You are the respected online service provider, customer's care would be the first priority, if in this situations your cooperation is not provided then I bound to take help of legal channel.
                              Request to do the needful.

                                This is the second time in a row that i am facing issue with book my show as i booked ticket for sunday oct 1 for judwaa 2 i didn't got the confirmation email i thought it's ok as it was a busy day. The day i visited the theatre on oct 1 i was surprised to see that website was showing booking for friday september 29. When i asked the theatre people to help me they declined my request but told me that lot of people are complaining about book my show as there is some server issue going on. The representative over the phone from book my show couldn't understand as to how she can help me. As i said i faced the same issue when i booked the tickets for the movie tubelight. I booked it for sunday n website somehow changed it for friday. Last time as well i didn't get any help from book my show. They clearly are cheating on customers.
                                On Sunday I had done a transaction of 832/- to my bank from my BMSwallet it has been showing sucessful but the money was not refunded in bank, regarding this I had contacted support from my BMS app but they are not responding, where was the problem, How would you be careless about support session

                                  On dated 29 september i have booked a 2 ticket (L 11 and 12) for the movie of judwa 2 at srs mall faridabad for 1 october
                                  After completion of booking procedure i have received movie confirmation detail by msg or screenshot.
                                  That time i was surprised that i was booked my ticket for 1 october not 29 sep so how can possible of it.
                                  I have paid 315 rs amount for the booking of ticket.
                                  So please refund my amount

                                    I have booked my movie ticket for today at varun inox 10:45pm show, executive seats b1, 2, 3, 4 for the movie spyder. At the time of payment, it has shown payment success but soon in the afternoon i received that the payment failed even though the amount got debited! When do i get the refund? What is the process for that and how will i know if the tickets are blocked but the payment has failed. I'm trying to contact customer care but i see zero response. Very bad experience

                                      This is to inform u that i had booked tickets for rs.70/- dc at shiva parvathi theatre today for 23.09.17 morning show at 11.15 am. The amount of rs.84.81 has been debited from my hdfc account... But ticket is not yet booked... I got a message that my booking is still under process, would be confirmed after making payment. But after making payment also i didn't got any confirmation of seat... Which i booked for b 15.
