Hii am chetana from goa, i had booked 2 tickets at inox porvorim, goa, for which an amount of rs 388) is deducted from my account. i had used my hdfc bank debit card. but due to some reason i am not able to go for a movie so i request you to kindly refund the above said amount. please credit the amount to my wallet.

What is this book my show... I'm using your application from past 1 year... And you haven't introduced kannada instead u guys used other regional languages like telagu hindi Tamil... These languages came after our kannada... Please include kannada it's our humble request...
Why Kannada language is not there...i can find hindi eng tamil telgu, , bt y not my Kannada...
Neglecting and refusing to use Kannada in their website.
U people please make your book my show to work in kannada also people will book kannada film also in book my show...I[censored] want kannada people to see book my show help us to see in kannada also as u given provision from telugu, Tamil n hindi

    Today i was booked ticket for Sultaan movie on date 6 July for Pratibha Cinema, Lucknow and i very carefully fill all form and date but when ticket updated then showing wrong Movie Shorgul on 5 July 2016, after booked and complaint to Book my show customer care but she not ready to this is portal problem...

    When I opened bookmyshow I couldn't find kannada language option in language selection tab. Please add Kannada language also in option tab that would help lots of people

    You must add Kannada option in both website and App, Bookmyshow insulting Karnataka and Kannada people by not providing the kannada language option.

    Please get Kannada Language option immediately
    I was unable to spot Kannada in the user language though it has telugu, Tamil and Hindi. I may not remind you that majority o[censored]sers hail from bengaluru and are Kannadigas. This exclusion of our language is a shear negligence and offensive.

    We are in Bengaluru, but if book my ahow is opened it wil display English, Hindi and other languages. I wanted to ask where exactly Bengaluru is located? Karnataka's official language is KANNADA. Remove other languages and add Kannada.

    Our system only confirms the options selected by the customers at the time of transacting / booking tickets and cannot randomly select the show date, timings, venue or any other booking details. Since the 'Order Summary; which consists of your booking details is displayed at regular intervals during the booking process until the payment page, the customer can always check the selected options in the order summary before proceeding to make the payment for the transaction.

    In cases like these, you could opt to gift those tickets to your friends or somebody who'd want to go for that show on your behalf.

    Hope this resolves your concern.

      What's wrong with u why you are not including kannada language how dare you to do that u want bengaluru land water everything but you don't want to include kannada language how sick is that don't test kannadiga patience we will make sure ur company should not be in bengaluru first off all in some situations u will show kannada movie housefull and if we go there and check there will be so many seats so please don't do this kind of stupid things u got it kannada language haku ila andre nan magne nodu 😠😡

      Make sure that you configure Kannada in https://in.bookmyshow.com/ website in next couple of days as you have all other south indian languages. This is really bad

        Being head quartered in bengaluru, you guys dont have common sense to add kannada in the booking languages, Instead all south Indian languages are present now.

        BMS is always showing step mother attitude towards kannada in terms of booking to avoid people to go for Kannada movies and so many.

        If the founder or the management dont have respect to the official language of Karnataka then why you are getting business from Karnataka, Please shut your office and bookings for the Bengaluru theaters.


        And also change in all places as Bengaluru its not Bangalore, if you are thinking so then you are living behind 5 years.

          We can see that Hindi, English, Telugu and Tamil in the site but not Kannada...just asking why you people are showing so much of discrimination towards our language and place? Requesting is not the word we have to use here...add Kannada...that's all we wanna say.. you are earning more from Bangalore people..show little gratitude...just because we can understand and let other languages to survive in our place it doesn't mean we don't respect our language...ADD KANNADA

            I noticed that there is no support for Kannada language in your website where as your website do support few other regional languages. In Bengaluru, when I called the call-center, I was surprised to find that they do not offer service in Kannada. I think, we, the people of Karnataka, are within our rights to demand for service in Kannada in Karnataka.Now, let me enlighten you about the language. Kannada is among the top 30 most spoken languages in the world. The language has got 2nd highest number of Jnanapita awards (8), India's highest literary awards only next to Hindi. With more than 80 million speakers, I request you to consider offering support in Kannada and also request you to add Kannada language support to your website too.

              We want kannada option in book my show website so concentrate on the issue and make available soon . I am giving one star for this issue only. We are kannadigas we respect others so expect same from others you are doing business in karnataka not in other states. Make sure it resolve fast it's better and we will use and give suggestions better to improve

                Bookmyshow website has provided options to view the website in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu but not Kannada which is very unfair given the fact it is operating out of Bengaluru.
                Please take all necessary steps to ensure Kannada is also made available as an option.

                  Hi am from Bangalore... I Use to Watch movies getting tickets from bookmyshow.com. I found the web site has not given anything informations in kannada. I would like to operate and communicate in my own language. If the company is running a successful business here, We expect the honour and respect from them in return by provide services in our own official language of Karnataka. Its the companies responsibility and the ignorance will not be tolearated..

Kannada is a main language for more than 6.5crores people in Karnataka..its our order to u..do add our Kannada languagei hope this issue will be resolved as soon as possible..do respect our language..else around 6.5crores Kannada people never use Ur app.

                            I tried booking for udta Punjab movie tickets because of some connectivity problem I tried thrice the amount was thrice deducted from my account but tckts were not booked.I called them they asked me for 48 to 72 hours but within minutes they msgd me DAT our team don't take any responsibility for this transaction.Amount transacted was 310.69 paise thrice .They have took the movie but not making refund they are not connecting me to customer care mobile balance deducted around 50rs.I'm helpless please help me out to solve this query

                            Ideally the amount does hit the account within 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case of nationalized bank.

                              I had booked 9 tickets by online banking ..money got transacted from the bank but booking has been failed ..when we call to bookmyshow dey say wait for 24 hours what we caanot wait for 24 hours and dey say make a fresh booking how can do dis ..i think this is all online fraud dey are doing please try to sorught it out or give me root cause about this i will filling a complaint against bookmyshow ..
                              1060 i hav lost becoz o[censored] ppl dis not first dis happend with me bookmy show are not takeing it seriously ...

                                I booked 2 tickets for udta punjab movie from novelty cinemas today. I tried to pay through my freecharge wallet.The amount for the movie was deducted from my freecharge account but i didn't receive any tickets or message whatsoever.I appeal to the website to refund my money because inspite of transaction being failed i was charge.I hope bookmyshow.com looks into the matter and i get my refund.I have with me the bookmyshow id no.

                                  I am awfully disappointed that companies like 'bookmyshow.com' & 'big cinemas - odeon' literally operate with bizarre policies which can actually agonize consumers. On 16/06, i booked 10 ticket (S) worth 3407.60 int (Including internet charges with show date of 17/06 instead of 18/06 (Mistakenly selected 17/06). Upon realization post taking booking print-out, i instantaneously called the support helpline for 'bookmyshow.com' & 'big cinemas - odeon' and neither of them took an effort to either cancel or exchange the dates (In fact straight away denied for cancellation and asked me to contact vice versa companies considering no cancellation policy). With all disappointment, i still wrote an email to 'big cinemas' but received no help (I am surprised that both of these companies were not taking any responsibilities to cancel the tickets - bit strange to hear & digest cause they took money to book the tickets but can't cancel the reservations at all). Eventually i had to visit the big cinemas - odeon physically on 17/06 before the show to try for any help and literally asked the ticketing staff to assist me selling the tickets considering it was a huge amount of money for an individual who is bearing it (With all disappointment, no tickets were sold and all the 10 tickets are being unused for nothing).

                                  There are few question (S) which will eventually be asked by many consumers (Considering this instance)
                                  01. Why companies like 'bookmyshow.com' & 'big cinemas - odeon' can't cancel ticket (S) despite working on such a huge global technology platform of booking shows/events?
                                  02. No cancellation policy is not the 'right thing' for any consumer despite any number (S) of booking? How would consumer react to this if he/she has booked a show and unable to attend owing to any family/medical/legal emergency? Are we saying that companies like these will waste consumer money for their own profit?
                                  03. Consumers are supposed to be acknowledged for such instance who honestly contact these companies and explain the situation.
                                  04. At the end of the day, the amount was being borne by the customer and a simple step of action (Cancellation of tickets) could have saved 3407.60 inr which could have been used for other show or equivalent.
                                  05. While this instance has happened, trust towards these companies is completely lost and this will eventually have negative impact.

We do certainly understand your concern pertaining to your cancellation request, however, this being an online mechanism the seats reserved online are deemed as to be sold at the cinema's level and there is no provision to make any manual modifications. Thus the refund is beyond our reach unless the cinema declares the transaction or the show as cancelled. Moreover, the physical tickets printed at the cinema reads that "Tickets once booked cannot be cancelled exchanged or refunded".                                   Hi Team (@bookmyshow),
                                  I’m quite disappointed with the standard response you have been providing to all the consumer(s) who directly or indirectly suffered owing to non-practical policy (apparently laid for no benefit to consumers). There has to be a cancellation policy (even it means a deduction from the portion of base amount billed) without a doubt. Consumer losses money because of such irrelevant policies and hence it is ‘Not right to say that we can’t do anything since it is Cinema’s discretion’. The entire process will impact directly or indirectly in future and will not work at the best for the future of companies. I will escalate it further since I had the loss and will also convey message to other consumers about the same incident till the time I don’t get a resolution.

                                    I have not received my another coupon costing rs. 500/- yet.
                                    I have been calling to your customer care twice every day from past one month for an update and every time some new person on call asks me to wait, wait and wait and asks me to call back which never happen. I have spent rs. 500 bucks in calling those damn people. It is completely unacceptable to run after rs. 500 for month and following with n number of persons with 100 different reasons and solutions. Nothing has been actioned yet.

                                    It is truely misbehave with customers and i am going to report this further mentioning all people's names sitting in customer care and messing up things bringing down reputation of the company.

                                      Hai am from tumkur, i had booked 2 tickets at prashantha tumkur, for which an amount of rs 156 (Twice i tried deducted 312 in my account) was deducted from my account. I had use my canara bank debit card. But i got a msg stating my transaction has failed as the cinema has not responded due to some reason, but have not received the payment of rs312. I request you to kindly refund the above said amount. Please credit the amount to account number or my willet

                                      We know this must have caused you trouble. Please accept our apologies for it.

                                      The refund for the amount charged was duly refunded on the 14th of June 2016.
                                      Be rest assured the amount charged for the unsuccessful transaction would be refunded back to your account within 5 to 7 working days and incase of a nationalized bank 10 working days.

                                      Kindly check your updated statement after mentioned period and assist us with the screen shot of the updated statement from the date of transaction till date in case of any discrepancies.

                                        Unfortunately, when a booking is confirmed on our website, the seats are reserved at the cinema and are deemed sold.

                                        Since, online bookings are confirmed transactions, tickets once booked cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded from our end.

                                        Also, there is no provision wherein we can make any modification in show date, time, movie, seats etc which are already confirmed.

                                        Keeping the cancellation norm in mind, it would have been an opportunity for customers to bring a smile on their dear one's face by gifting those tickets.
