I have booked 6 tickets for 7/05/16 8:45pm show at pvr dona planet guwahati. I have contacted customer care executive on 6/05/16 3pm but they said server is down so could not help me on this. Later on i have checked the seats which i have booked it show 3 seats available out of 6, am surprised if server is down how come 3 seats left blank.

Total amount paid 1526.78 by paytm wallet.

    I booked 2 helicopter ride tickets with bookmyshow on 20th april, costing inr 11, 251. The booking was for 25th april, 2 pm, covering south mumbai. On the day of the ride, around 1 pm, i received a call from accretion group (Agents who organize the helicopter ride) saying that the 2 pm slot was full, and they requested me to come at 4.30 pm instead. They promised that all the specifications, such as time of the ride, route, etc will stay the same. I agreed to this proposal.
    On reaching the airport, about 5 minutes before boarding the helicopter, i was told that the specifications i had asked for are not available anymore, only the north mumbai route was available after 3.45 pm. When i protested, they blamed me saying why did i book such a late slot. When i tried to contact accretion group, they said they can't do anything. I was told i have to decide in 5 minutes if i want to board the helicopter or get a refund. I decided to not board the helicopter and get a refund.
    After that, accretion group and bookmyshow have been playing a blame game with each other, and both refuse to refund my money.
    Please help me get my refund back. I have been swindled out of my money and nobody is willing to listen.

      Hi,

      I am swamy (Cell no [protected], email id- [protected]@gmail.com). I booked 2 tickets for chakravyuha' using bookmyshow app for pvr - orion mall. Rajajinagar, bangalore, for 7:00pm show for date 05th may 2016 using hdfc net banking
      After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.
      But an amount of rs 237.26 was debited from my account. This transaction was done at around 1:14pm on 05th may 2016.
      I waited for around 20-25 minutes, but i didn't receive any sms or e-mail from book my show for confirmation of tickets but immediately i received sms from hdfc bank for deduction of money.


      I request a refund of rs 237.26/- from bookmyshow.

      Hey Sorry... The above said date is not 05th May 2016 it's 04th May 2016.
      I booked my ticket twice it shown the message transaction failed but the amount is debited from the card kindly refund the amount billed twice .and your call centre number doesn't work at all .pathetic services, pls contact at [protected] for the refund

        I have registered for lucky draw for T20 final tickets. But I have not yet received any intimation in regard of the draw till date. It is also not known whether the draw has already been done and tickets issued.

          My name is Rohit Waghmare from nanded.on 2/05/16 at about 9-10pm i booked 8 tickets of movie sairat of showtime 12:15 pm on 4/05/16 with rupay card of state bank of hyderabad.But due to some reasons it failed but, a message from state bank came rs.1164.12 has been deducted from my account and there were two optioms retry or cancel or something i dnt remember.I retried it again it failed and again message from state bank came with same amount but different transaction id.I want to refund as soon as possible.

            I have been trying to make booking of 4 seats for the show of movie 'sairat', at date 2nd may and 3rd may, at e-square - university road, but at after completing transaction procedures it shows "transaction failed" message. I also receive this message on my mobile number.
            I have tried using different bank accounts, on different days but same occurred every time.

              As per earlier mail and message from book my show it is conformed me that the refund amonut would reflect back to your account within 10-15 working days, but now all of a sudden are saying that contact theater owner.Do u think that is that is easy as u said simply to contact i dont meet any body it is your responsibility to take this and refund my money back for this booking id's : mtkg[protected] & mtkg[protected], such a negligence and worst service and no proper communication ever seen.

                    Hi booked two movie tickets of baghi today around 1.34 pm amounting rs467.80 .Money has been already deducted from my account .I tried to call them lots of time .I also received a call from their executive named mary having phone no-[protected].She promised to resloved my problem within two hour.But still it is not resolved .I have the details relating to transaction and mails which has been witten by me to them and their reply.According to my opinion bookmyshow is now making fool of people by showing good offer.They are traping peoplr by showing this discount.

                          I had planned to watch The Jungle Book (3D Hindi) (U/A) on 13th Apr'16 (Wednesday) at Movietime: Raja Garden (AUDI5), National Capital Region (NCR), Delhi and booked the 6 tickets on 12th Apr, for 5:45pm show. I paid special attention to select Wednesday 13th Apr while booking tickets.However to my surprise after making the payments and receiving the e-tickets I realized that ticket's got booked were of 12th Apr (Tuesday) out of no where. I immediately called Bookmyshow's customer care and after holding for 30 minutes I was able to speak with one of the representative. I told them the issue, and I insisted that I have selected the correct date, but they out rightly rejected my complaint stating that there is 'NO ISSUE' in their servers and it's a mistake of mine. Had their been a issue with their server they would have received other complaints too. Further they added, since they are booking partners they can't refund or transfer my tickets to Wednesday as the booking was confirmed. This was first time I had installed their app and booked the tickets. I was left with no option but to book fresh tickets for next day show. I booked 7 new tickets immediately for Wednesday, with new booking ID: MTRG-W6WP986.

                          While sharing this incident with one of my friends, I realized that even he had faced similar issue. I detect a SCAMP here, that these people are running and want serious action against them.

                          It is very strange that even though multiple users are complaining for the same thing, you are completely in denial mode. Had this only been my mistake, how come multiple user facing similar issue. Anyways, it seems bookmyshow is completely customer ignorant company and you people are running scamps, especially with group bookings and first time users. No doubt films are making 500 crores, must be due to such frauds being run through people like you.

                          I shall further, launch a formal complaint and take necessary legal action.

                            I want to highlight the this embarrassing moment my family and i faced because of the incorrect booking done by bookmyshow. I had planned to watch the jungle book (3d hindi) (U/a) on 20th apr (Wednesday) at big cinemas: ansal plaza, gurgaon (Screen 03), national capital region (Ncr), gurgaon and booked the 6 tickets on 18th apr along with a large combo meal for kids for a total amount of rs.1382.40. I paid special attention to select wednesday 20th apr while booked ticket however didn't check that ticket's got booked were of 19th apr (Tuesday) out of no where.
                            We were sitting and watching movie on wednesday in cinema when we had to vacant the seats in between after the cinema people made us realize the incorrect booking. This came to us as a shock and highly embarrassing to leave movie in between. For a day i was clueless as to how did it all happened. I booked the 6 tickets again for next day from big cinema itself and came with kids again. Paid twice for same seats and tickets with no faults of mine .
                            Only when i was sharing this incident with a friend of mine(Baljeet [protected]) i came to know that he also experienced the same issue with book my show and even tried to register his complaint with bookmyshow however was turned down by saying that was his fault in booking. Coincidence doesn't happen with 2 different people sitting at 2 different locations. We searched internet and found evidence of past complaints that people do have faced such issues and were refunded back their money. More than money this is about the embarrassment my family and i had faced which one can only imagine.

                            I will escalate this issue with help of my advocate if i dont get to hear from bookmyshow in next 3 days time.

                                I had booked ticket. But the show was cancelled due to technical issues. Cinema paid us the ticket amount but we were told to collect our taxes amount from bookmyshow. I raised a ticket but they closed it saying cinema has paid us our amount. I raised 2 more tickets to open my closed tickets but bookmyshow did not respond.

                                  Hi there. I had booked a ticket for the movie kapoor and sons at maxus mall gwo weeks ago. It was the 5:15pm show and for technical reasons it got cancelled. But i've still not got any refund. I paid 400rs for a show i did not even watch! Another thing.. Your service is pathetic. Your njmber never gets through and you freaking charge for every call? Looks like all your'll wanna do is rob the customers in every way possible! I'm hoping i get a steady response on this. And if not... Rest assured i will take u to court! Because your'll are no one to rob peoples money for shows that didn't even happen!
