It is to state you that before about three months I booked my two tickets of India-South Africa Test match on 24/11/2015 through SBI Signature card. But could not get the concession as per the policy of sbicard and bookmyshow (the agreement between sbicard and bookmyshow). Subsequently, I raised the same point with sbicard (the trailing mail can be referred) and asked the clarification. SBICARD personnel telephonically clarified me that your claim is genuine and you must have got the concession in the booking. However, he advised me to contact the bookmyshow. On further pursue, I requested him to forward my request with his recommendation to the bookmyshow to solve out the problem, keeping me informed. He assured me that he will do the needful but till date I could not get a copy of the same. Further, I have not stretched the issue, neglected.
Now, I am trying to book the two tickets for South Africa-West Indies T20 WC match scheduled on March 25, 2016 through sbi signature card, with out most care while booking itself.
To my surprise, on following the correct procedure with care while booking, it is mentioned that "The offer has been availed for today. Revisit tomorrow and avail the same" under the category of SBI Signature Credit card Rs. 500 off (the snapshot is attached herewith for your reference), whereas for this category there is no Quota limit on the numbers, one customer can avail two tickets in one month and can get the Rs. 500 off. On trying many times unsuccessfully, I contacted on[protected] and briefed the problem. The customer care executive, Ms. S. Shaikh asked that SBI Signature Credit card Rs. 500 off scheme is for booking movie tickets only and not for other events/shows whereas I specifically got clarified from the sbicard personnel confirming it for all purposes of tickets through bookmyshow. Thus, in all I feeling that the matter is tricky and fishy from both the ends i.e. sbicard and bookmyshow.
So, I thought better to contact directly to Honourable CEO of bookmyshow and Honourable CEO of SBI card to solve my problem before approaching any consumer agencies.
Therefore, I request to the concerned for solving my problem and availing me the tickets with providing the Rs. 500 off.
