Hi,
I booked 2 tickets for 'Kapoor and Sons' using BookMyShow.com -PVR, Cinemas, Spirit Soul, Bellandur, Banglore.
Details are as follows:
Date-19 march-2016
Time-10 am
Seat numbers- L-14, 15
Mode of payment :Debit card payment-HDFC Bank
After selecting seats and entering my account details, bookmyshow website displayed some message like 'processing...' and after some time, it displayed, 'oops, an error occurred'.

But the amount worth Rs 459.26 was debited from my account. This transaction was done at around 11:15 PM on 17th March 2016.
I waited for around 20-25 minutes, but i didn't receive any sms or e-mail from book my show for confirmation of tickets but i did receive sms from HDFC regarding the deduction of money.

Now, After 35 minutes .i.e. at around 11:50 PM (17th march-2016), i again tried to book 2 tickets and i received sms and mail from book my show this time regarding the confirmation.

So, basically money for my 1st transaction should be refunded by bookmyshow as it didn't handle the transaction properly and deducted amount without booking the seats.

I contacted the on-line customer care executives also but they also just say that we will contact you as soon as possible but then there is no reply/response.

I request a refund of Rs 459.26/- from bookmyshow.

    I have booked 2 tickets for movie "Tera suroor" on 17th March 2016 around 9.35 AM for 11.30 am show for the same date at Cinepolis seasons pune through maharashtra bank visa card.They have received the money but i didn't receive tickets.The message i received from them was...transaction is failed bur amount is deduct from my account.I checked with my bank and tried to contact book my show customer service but they are not responding my call.
    I am attaching here the snap pics of OTP password received during transction & message of amount deduct from my account.
    please refund mi my amount.

        Hi i went to see the cricket match yesterday wherein after getting in i got to know that mobile data banks are not allowed & there not any security deposit counter for that also & nothing was mentioned in tickets term & conditions also about the data banks aren't allowed well after a few moments i came back on the way back i found one police personnel who was known to me & i told him about that he took my data bank in his safe custody & i went back to reenter knowing that i will not be allowed but then i thought let request coz coming so far & not watching match will be disheartening. Seldom i knew i face horror or shock police personnel didn't hindered but the whole staff book my show at gate no 9 went berserk & two them started talks by pointing fingers as if i was cheating in exam hall plz let me why this company hires people likes even complaining the same no action has been taken against those plz look into this matter with concern

          I had booked tickets from BookMyShow.com for two cricket ticket. But due to certain reasons, I wanted to cancel my ticket. I called BookmyShow helpline number to cancel the tickets, one day before the show. But they refused my request. Even when I requested them to keep the service charges, and may be more but refund the rest of the amount, the customer acre executive completely refused. When I demanded to speak to their senior, . they promised to arrange a cal back which I never recveived.

            It is to state you that before about three months I booked my two tickets of India-South Africa Test match on 24/11/2015 through SBI Signature card. But could not get the concession as per the policy of sbicard and bookmyshow (the agreement between sbicard and bookmyshow). Subsequently, I raised the same point with sbicard (the trailing mail can be referred) and asked the clarification. SBICARD personnel telephonically clarified me that your claim is genuine and you must have got the concession in the booking. However, he advised me to contact the bookmyshow. On further pursue, I requested him to forward my request with his recommendation to the bookmyshow to solve out the problem, keeping me informed. He assured me that he will do the needful but till date I could not get a copy of the same. Further, I have not stretched the issue, neglected.
            Now, I am trying to book the two tickets for South Africa-West Indies T20 WC match scheduled on March 25, 2016 through sbi signature card, with out most care while booking itself.
            To my surprise, on following the correct procedure with care while booking, it is mentioned that "The offer has been availed for today. Revisit tomorrow and avail the same" under the category of SBI Signature Credit card Rs. 500 off (the snapshot is attached herewith for your reference), whereas for this category there is no Quota limit on the numbers, one customer can avail two tickets in one month and can get the Rs. 500 off. On trying many times unsuccessfully, I contacted on[protected] and briefed the problem. The customer care executive, Ms. S. Shaikh asked that SBI Signature Credit card Rs. 500 off scheme is for booking movie tickets only and not for other events/shows whereas I specifically got clarified from the sbicard personnel confirming it for all purposes of tickets through bookmyshow. Thus, in all I feeling that the matter is tricky and fishy from both the ends i.e. sbicard and bookmyshow.

            So, I thought better to contact directly to Honourable CEO of bookmyshow and Honourable CEO of SBI card to solve my problem before approaching any consumer agencies.

            Therefore, I request to the concerned for solving my problem and availing me the tickets with providing the Rs. 500 off.

                I booked my 2 movie tickets at GVK INOX, Hyderabad for English movie London has fallen for the 7:50pm show on Tuesday 8th March '16.
                I booked m-ticket online and the first time I booked, it showed error so I booked again and I got a msg from my bank saying that I have been charged twice for the same.
                Kindly refund the money.
                I am sure Inox being such a big brand in itself won't disappoint me.

                      I booked 2 tickets for the movie "Shivalinga" on last friday when I went to the theatre on saturday the movie that was being projected was "Shivaganga".

                      Please note that "SHIVAGANGA" and "SHIVALINGA" are different cinema of different language.

                      The cinema authorities when asked told that the bookmyshow agent has put SHIVALINGA in place of SHIVAGANGA and it not their concern.

                      Bookmyshow support team is not responding properly.

                      This is how I was cheated!

                          I am Ashwini Marathe I have booked movie tickets through bookmyshow mobile app on 1st march 2016. I have made the payment through debit card. They received the money immediately and a message displayed on my phone that the tickets were not booked. I called the customer care office they asked me to make a fresh booking once again and the amount for previous failed booking will be refunded within 7 days. After making another booking I faced the same error again. The amount is deducted but the tickets are not booked.

                            My money is not transferd
                            Sir i am from Andhra Pradesh I Transferred My Money to Book my show my wallet Services but during transaction they did not mention about any of the terms like updation process but now when i am again asking they money back to transfer it to my bank account it is showing Error when i spoke to executives of their company they are telling that we are unclear of the matter and they are telling that u will be refunded soon even though my fund is small my concern is big how can i trust another time these fellows my money for no sake is being put on the service

                              Today at around 9.45 am, Driver of Pick up VAN No. MH02CE9817 from Andheri (West) railway station misbehave while requesting to move the VAN little ahead to park our CAR for longer time then of VAN. if we parked ahead of the VAN he might stuck up and unable to move unless we move our car. please look into the matter.

                                Hello,
                                i am ankita jain i have booked my movies tickets online through bookmyshow website on 12th feb 2016. I have paid the advance booking amount through debit cum atm card. They received the money immediately and a message displayed on my phone that movie tickets are not booked due to some error occured. The company assured me that within 10 working days timeline i will receive the refund. But i havn't receive the refund amount yet. I had also mailed them on their help desk but they are not responding now as if nothing has happened. They had told me to activate my wallet so that i can receive the refund amount in my wallet but i havn't got it back yet. Kindly do something.

The refund for the mentioned transaction has been processed from our end on[protected] itself to your respective account from where the amount was debited. The amount ideally gets reflected in your account within a maximum of 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case of a nationalized bank.                                     Very bad and pathetic experiences with BookMyShow, employee are not trained. They are not able to give solution. Spoiled our evening while watching movie Neerja. We booked movie from BookMyShow and they overcharged for Family Combo (Even It was not chosen - Default came in my cart). During inquiry customer care committed Yes we had charged extra for "Family Combo" due to fault in out booking system, Don't worry definitely we will provide at BIG Cinemas: Ansal, Vaishali Ghaziabad but at counter they refused to give and come with very rude behavior. They killed my 20 mins during movie.

                                      Hello,
                                      This is shantanu sharma, I booked two movie tickets using bookmyshow app on 12th February, 2016 at 2 am.
                                      Film was Deadpool. In billing process I had completed all the steps and made transaction of rs. 365.8 in which 320 for tickets and 55 for online booking. After a while I received a message from my bank that "transaction of rs. 365.8 has been completed". But i didn't get any confirmation from the bookmyshow. On that note I sent them a mail regarding this problem, they told me that action will be taken within 24-48 hours. But now it has been more than 60 hours and they haven't refunded my money.
                                      Please help me and get me my money back in my account.
