Useless customer support, contacted many times. They will only tell the same. Even the tech guys have no sense to talk to customers. Resolution, i hope they dont even know what is it. Idiotic behavior they cut the call in between speaking. No alternatives provided by them, they don't know how can they educate the customer. At firstly they dont refund the amount for failed transactions. Huge scam happens by them do no trust them at all. Useless support.

I booked three tickets from bookmyshow using my ICICI credit card since it is running buy 1 get 1 free offer. I went through each of the steps but to my horror the entire amount was charged, I called their so called customer care line (ticket no 1133633) and they said the promo code was not applied. Since it was not my fault I asked them to reverse it so I could make fresh booking but they refused saying it can't be done. It seems to be a ploy of their where unsuspecting consumers like me make bookings through their site and they profit from it giving any responses without make the things right, This is my first and last usage of this lousy portal. I'm also reconsidering continued usage of my ICICI credit card since they enticed me with offers like these with vendors like Bookmyshow who will do anything not to honour the offer. So please be careful and be ready to loose if you are considering using Bookmyshow site for any transactions.

So I agree with the above review that one should be ready to loose money if one decides to use this site. Im never again going to use it.

    Sir i have booked movie ticket from book my show .com  for that i have used my gift voucher the amount got deducted from my voucher and it shows the value got exausted  i have not got movie ticket for singh is bling movie  for date 2/10/2015. I have tried several times for refund  through mail and call at customer care . but they have not resolved issue  everytime they have given reasons. I request you to impose a heavy fine of Rs 500 crores on them so that they will change there practise o[censored]tilising the public money for long time and returning because such things they are doing with lacs of people  and cheating them for long.  requet you to settle my claim of refund.

      I had booked tickets from BookMyShow.com for a movie at Big Cinema - Odeon. But due to certain reasons, I wanted to cancel my ticket. I called BookmyShow helpline number to cancel the tickets, but they refused my request. So you are requested to keep the service charges, and may be more but refund the rest of the amount

        I purchase the gift-card from Book my show...they charge 1000 rs. for the card... after received the card i book the movie ticket the charge the gift voucher amount but movie ticket is not movie ticket is not received from book my show...

          I wrongly booked my Ticket on Galaxy Paradise Screen 1: Bommanahalli Hosur Rd 7 Pm Show on Sat 31 2015. I was suppose to Book with Gopalan Miniplex: Signature Mall, Old Madras Road. From my place of location it is too far to reach in 1 hr.

          I explained it to BMS but they are not ready to cancell the ticket and refund the money.

Get instant refunds by changing your default settings to "Refund to My Wallet" on the app/website.

              I booked two no's of tickets for Movie Pyar ka punchnama(2) for Gayatri cinemas, Ratlam (MP) through BookMyShow.

              Show was scheduled to start at 15:30 but it actually started at 16:00 hrs & there was no information / Sorry statement from Cinema Management for that.

              and after that show stopped in middle of movie just after interval, Screen just got blanked, again there was no sorry statement from the management neither they initiated any refund process.

              Instead they harassed people who was complaining about this bad service by saying " Tereko jyada problem hai kya, Chup chap baitha rah ya chala ja nhi to teri picture bana dunga yahi pe abi".

              Such statement from the management & attendents are very unfortunate & regressive, After all people go to movie to entertain themselves after putting hard earned money and then they have to listen such things & bad service then it is very unfortunate.

              a refund process with sorry statement must be started from the Gayatri cinema management for all ticket booked for the show.

                  Book My Show — Money deducted but tickets not received This is my worst experience with Book My Show Web site on 14th October 2015. I have booked tickets for SING IS BLING movie for 14th October 2015. My 518 rupees money was deducted from AXIS bank account, but no confirmation about the tickets were received. I am trying to call them on the number their helpline number but that number is not working . I want my money back.

                    I have bought a hp laptop and got hp back to college offer.As per that i get 12 free movie tickets on bookmyshow, 2ticket for one month and each ticket less than 250rupee. But it also said that these offers can be used only if it was booked 2 days in advance on bookmyshow app. I cant book any tickets as only todays movie shows can be booked.But bookmyshow very cleverly said that these advance booking are based on theater . I feel completely deceived and cheated as i paid 1500 rupee for hp offer and i cant use anything. I expect bookmyshow better find a solution to this very soon since the offer lapses for every 30 days.

                      Mismanaged show . Inspite of having numbered tickets, no ushers there and people were being directed by security to seat randomly . It took me 45 minutes to locate a bookmyshow volunteer and get her to help get my assigned seats which were being occupied by someone else .                           Hi, I tried to book three tickets for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon on 2nd oct 2015 for the show at 5:40.The money from my account got deducted but the traction failed and no booking confirmation came, SO i called the customer care and he accepted that there is a technical problem from our side and you will get the refund call in next 24 hours. Later at around 6 p.m. the message and mail confirmation came, Though I had not gone to watch the movie. I talked to many people from Book My show and they accepted their fault on call and asked me for some more time to investigate this. Today I have received a mail from them stating we had releases the mail/message confirming your booking so no refunds. I mean, I really feel cheated.                             Hi, I booked 5 tickets for Mayuri Movie through Book My Show at PVR, Forum Mall, Hyd for 11th October 2015, 5.10P.M Show. I booked through HDFC Bank net banking and my 1st transaction was failed due to some technical issues and even the amount was not deducted and also I did not get any mail or message like the transaction was failed :( . And now, the 2nd transaction I have done for the same movie n same time on same date, the 2nd transaction was confirmed and the tickets also confirmed which I have got the confirmation message on 10th October at 3.59P.M but I got the cancellation msg and mail from BMS on 11th October in the morning at 10 A.M. So what do we think... we cant go back and think what happen... but we thought like the tickets which are confirmed only hasbeen cancelled. But When I contacted the on-line customer care executives also and they tried to convince me alot but I didnot convinced and I just told them that I need to talk to the manager rt away so the person on call kept me hold for a minute and later he informed me that their manager has took my contact nuber and told me that we will contact you as soon as possible.                               I used Bookmyshow site for booking 3 nos. ticket for film Talvar for MGF Mall situated at MG Road GURGAON ON 07/10/2015 @ 250/ PER TICKETS total Rs 838.50 Deducted my a/c using SBI Debit Card
                              The ticket was not generated that time, we decided to contact the theater .
                              After verifing on the system, they inform that as the tiketing process could not be completed, the amt deducted would be refunded inti the concern a/c the following day
                              Till date i did n"t get my money .
                              I therefor request you to look into the matter

                                I could not get you how much amount will be refunded and on what basis you have cut off the amound of refund. keeping mistake on your side and charging the customer is not a good thing. show was cancelled by your side while booking tickets you charge us all service, internet and any other charges and while refunding you dont include thoe amounts

                                  I reckon, I tried to book four tickets for the Telugu movie RUDRAMADEVI at 7.35 pm dated, 10th October, 2015 at DRC Cinemas for sunday morning show, 11th October, 2015, 10.00 am .Its been futile booking, for, the money is deducted for Rupees 752.40 only from my bank account ICICI, with no ticket confirmation. Trying to call the toll free number, its been numb all time. Further progress demands the money back soon as possible .Anticipating the genuine reply on the given number [protected].

                                    Book My Show — Money deducted but tickets not received This is my worst experience with Book My Show Web site on 9th October 2015. I have booked tickets for TALVAR movie for 10th October 2015. My 507 rupees money was deducted from CITI bank account, but no confirmation about the tickets were received. I am trying to call them on the number their helpline number but that number is not working. I have send an email to their customer support, but did not received any reply. My whole day was gone trying to contact them. I want my money back. I want to legally proceed against them for the inconvenience caused to me. Thank you, Supriya [protected]

                                      I have booked ticket worth 281(approx.) from bookmyshow. My amount is deducted from my bank account but I didn't get the ticket message.I tried to contact bookmyshow i was confused with tollfree numbers Then I visited there blog FAQ then I get to know that my money will be refunded within 2 weeks but still i haven't recieved any msg ' Regards, vasavi hyderabad
