    Date of the Incident: 23 Sept 2015 Client Number:[protected] Theater: INOX National: Arcot Road City: Chennai Show: 27 Sept 2015 03:45 PM I tried to book the 5 tickets using 2 gift vouchers each worth Rs:200. I also had to pay the outstanding amount after applying the gift vouchers using mu citibank debit card. At the end, the transaction failed. I've got the SMS that the Rs.371 is deducted from my account by BIGTREE-BILLDESK. I've called the customer care, they said that the gift voucher would be unblocked in next 40 minutes. However, they don't have enough information that when the amount would credited back to the bank account. Their answer was not satisfactory, but said it would be credited within 7 to 10 days, not sure about the bank's process.

      I had booked 2 tickets on 08 Sep 2015 of Bale Bale Magadivoy for Rs. 270 inclusive of tax through my city bank Reward Points, the Points got deducted from my account however I did not received any confirmation from book my show. I went to the counter and did a recheck, but they said the tickets are not booked, you will get the amount back to your account. I inqiured with my respective bank and they said this: We clarify that the said redemption has been successfully paid by Citibank to the Merchant Establishment vide Trace 536850 and Payment Voucher [protected] . Refund of points to your Card account can be initiated only upon receipt of an instruction from the Merchant. We have not received any such information towards this till date. We request you to contact the Merchant Establishment directly for further clarification. Assuring you of our best attention at all times. Sincerely, Officer - Customer Care, City Bank.           I booked a ticket for Sunday evening and i wanted to cancel or move the tickets to a different timings due to family emergency. Date of incident: Sep 18 2015 Client Name: Vishnu Balraj Booking id: WTLXHRJ If there is no way to cancel it, they should atleast give an option to move to a different timings with the theatre, but denied and said you will lose the money if you don't go on the said timing. I am in the hospital due to emergency and can't go to the show. These guys are complete rip off and are bunch of cheaters who have created this. Pay my money back (Rs. 1320) and will never book tickets through you again.

          Let us be practical. I do understand your situation. However it is clearly mentioned while doing the booking that once booked, the booking cannot be refunded or cancelled. I have been using bookmyshow for years now and it is the most convenient app for online bookings.

            This company had to refund my money ..they sent me a mail on 2-9-2015 that refund is processed and will reflect in my bank in 7-10 days again I received a SMS on[protected] that my refund is processed and it will reflect in 7-10 days.They do not intend to refund money they are cheaters..STAY AWAY FROM BOOOK MY SHOW they are duping customers in the name of refund process

              Icici bank but 1 get 1 offer on credit card

              I have been trying to avail icici bank buy 1 get 1 free ticket offer on the credit card for the movie drishyam, twice the offer got applied but i wasn't able to pay and actually avail the offer. Everytime I tried paying, i got some webpage error. And now i cant even apply the offer because apparently I have exhausted the limit per user per month. Your payment gateway is pathetic. If you guys don't want us to get the offer, why do...

              We had booked Four tickets for a Movie 15.08.2015 and the amount was deducted from my PAYUMONEY account, but Bookmyshow had sent a mail and message that the Transaction failed immediately. We we called the call center for many times, their response is that they had generated the tickets again with the OTP and they say the message was sent to the Phone No. Whereas we did not receive message not mail from them on successful transaction. Again we went to the theater to reconfirm and they said that there were no tickets for this reference. Now even after 1 month of conversation with the call center of Book my Show, same response, within some time they will confirm back. Please suggest if we can take the case to Consumer Forum.

              Dear Customer, We're sorry to know that you had an unsuccessful transaction while booking tickets with us. We aim to deliver a good ticketing experience to our customers and are here to help you with your concern. If an OTP is generated for the unsuccessful transaction, the credit voucher is sent on the contact number email used while booking tickets and lasts for 75 mins. In case, the credit voucher is unused in the mentioned time frame, the transaction is auto refunded into your account. Wait for a maximum of 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case of a nationalized bank. The refund should reflect back in your account. Get instant refunds by changing your default settings to "Refund to My Wallet" on the app/website. Just log on to the app & make the changes via settings sec of My Wallet. In case of any difficulties, please write to us at [protected]@bookmyshow.com or LIVE CHAT with us along with the contact details entered while transacting.                   Sir...maine icici imobile apps se 2 ticket bahubali movie ki by mistake book ho gayi...but jab maine cancle karne ke liye icic custumer care aur bookmyshow dono k customer call centre ko call kiye to dono ne mana kar rhe the...ki hum cancle nahi kar sakte...sirg ia dono se yeh pucho jab ap book kar sakte ho to cancle bhi to ap hi karoge...sir ticket maine 4:40 pm ko book ki thi...aur movie thi 10 pm thi..maine itne call kiye ki sir g mere paise muje wapas chaiye...

                    I tried to book tks through Bookmyshow mobile app.It deducted the amount but failed to send sms.due this i again tried to book ticket.this time through browser and it succeeded. when i checked the app after some time it showed 2 transactions as booked for same show in my account..Called customer care to refund the erroreneous transaction but they are useless chaps and they do never intended to solve my problem including their so called team lead.As i result i lost good amount of money.This company is pathetic in solving customer issues and they are mere middle men.and i will never ever use their buggy application in future and recommend others to refrain from using book my show..save ur hard earned money guys.

                        This is horrible service. Due to untoward incident in family, wanted to cancel ticket. But these rogues don't have cancellation charges . robbers. All they need is just money. No customer care in literal sense. I have stopped using there app n have asked my entire college batch(apprx 350) to uninstall n stop using there services. Spread d message!

                          Booked one ticket on 05/06/15, through net banking Central bank of India, Kolkata for Movie DIL DHADKNE DO, show time 3.55 p.m. Date-06/06/2015, but no sms / mails recd.On the very next day, I cantacted Madam Tanvi of Customer Care team of Book my show. After checking she confirmed over pbone as well as mail, they have not claimed the amount and advised me to contact with the Bank for refund. Based on her confirmation, I booked another ticket for the same movie samne date and same time and viewed the moved. Based on the mail, I have contacted to my Bank for refund. they have enquried and informed me that to contact with the Merchant as both the transaction are successful as per their records. on receipt of reply from Bank, I just forwarded the same and requested the merchant for refund. Initial ticket Id No.#467064. Later on changed it to #588788 without resolving the issue. From 6th June'15 onwards, excahnged 14 mails. Last mail sent on 20/08/15, but no response recd. Kindly look into the case and do the needful.
                          Total 14 mails sent from 6 the June'15 onwards but not resolved the PROBLEM. Apart from that, they have changed the Ticket id No from #467064 to #588788 without resolving the issue.
                          NOT YET RECEIVED THE REFUND AMOUNT OF RS.348.50 FROM THE MERCHANT

                            Horrible experience and customer robbing service from bookmyshow. I was regular customer and booked 8 tickets. By mistake I booked Friday instead of sat . ( Application confused me as initially I selected sat and when I got error for something, it took back to booking page again where I didn't notice that it was by default selected (today) means Friday ) Now they don't have cancellation option . They give reasons that cinemas wont refund money to them . Pathetic reason to shut down customer.When they do business with Cinemas, it is obvious to have cancellation clause with condition to save customers . Why cant they have cancellation options with conditions like within 1 our or before 5 hrs of shows . I will never book my ticket with bookmyshow, because I have to be so much so much careful and with fear need book tickets. Who will take chance ?

The transaction was made at 11:20 AM but I got an error saying 'Transaction Failed'. Bookmyshow was very slow that day and when I got error couple of times so I went and directly booked the Movie tickets from the Theatre. My booking details are as below :- Booking ID :- 124796 I then get the SMS & Email Confirmations from Bookmyshow which is past the movie start time. How can this happen when I had got the Transaction Failed error Online. I am enclosing the snapshots of the SMS & EMAIL Delivery times.. Please see that email was delivered at 12:56 and SMS at 1:13 while the movie was starting at 12:55 I tried to reach the Customer care (over phone) and also through Chat but No body helped me instead they said that they have sent the sms and email on time. I also sent them the screen snapshots which showed the time on my mobile and also on gmail when the booking confirmation was received If required, I can also scan the movie tickets that I went and bought in Person as the transaction through bookmyshow failed. I request that I get my entire amount credited to the Account asap.

As per our telephonic conversation today (20th August, 2015) we are in process of refunding your transaction. The amount of Rs 985.50 should reflect back in your account once the amount is processed from our end. You will be notified via a message about the refund. From then it would take a maximum of 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case it is a nationalized bank. In case of coming across a instance as such, share with us the contact details entered while transacting at [protected]@bookmyshow.com LIVE CHATS or at[protected] We also have the Resend Booking Confirmation on my website which can be used in case of not receiving the confirmation details.                                 After I put my complaint in this website, I have been getting calls from different numbers stating they are calling from bookmyshow.com customer care and asking me to share my credit card number so that they can refund the amount. I am not sure about the authenticity of the caller, so I havent shared it yet.


                                Anyone else got similar experience.

As per our telephonic conversation today (20th August, 2015) we are in process of refunding your transaction. The amount of Rs 985.50 should reflect back in your account once the amount is processed from our end. You will be notified via a message about the refund. From then it would take a maximum of 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case it is a nationalized bank. In case of coming across a instance as such, share with us the contact details entered while transacting at [protected]@bookmyshow.com LIVE CHATS or at[protected] We also have the Resend Booking Confirmation on my website which can be used in case of not receiving the confirmation details.                                 I also faced the similar situation. We booked four tickets on 16th in bookmyshow portal and received message saying that your transaction got failed. Based on that we went to the theater personally and booked. However after some time received mail that your transaction booked.

                                These kind of transactions are not fair. Need someone to help me. May pl send mail to venki.[protected]@gmail.com

                                  I paid 600 for two times in my wallet, but not transferred to my wallet as well came back to my bank account, money 1200 got deducted from my bank account, I had given the transaction details to bookmyshow, but they are only replying sorry, please and tech team is working, but I am not getting back my money, every time they replied that problem will be solved in 24 hours,

                                    On 09.07.2015, I have tried to book 2 seats through book my show app. I even got 2 seats but while completion of payment it shown as payment failed and same will be refunded to my account within 10 working days. Till now I have not received my refund even after repeated may communication and also after aubmitting the statements of account as requested by the cus toner care representative. I kindly request you to help me in this regard and all the relevant screen shots I am uploading here for your kind information. It's now more than a month from date of deduction.

                                      On 09.07.2015, I have tried to book bahubali movie from book my show app. I got 2 seats confirmed and while proceeding for payment they have debited Rs.308.40 from my bank account and subsequently message came that booking order cancelled and refund amount will be credited to my account after 10 working days and I even submitted my account statement from date of deduction to till the date of communication I have received. Till now the amount is not credited and it's now more than a month from the date of deduction of my amount. I am kindly requesting you to do the need full in this regard. I am also sent repeated reminders with necessary statements as requested by the customer care service provider of book my show. But till now amount is not credited and I am facing difficult to claim my refund amount with book my show.
