I, jessy jose aged 58 had visited canara bank at thalayolaparambu on 26th april 2017. The purpose of my visit to the branch was in regard to the withdrawal of money (Rs 42281) from my husband’s account (P j jose) a/c no:[protected]. I lost my husband on 1/12/2016. Since my financial status got disturbed after the death of husband, i approached canara bank branch at thalayolaparambu, where my husband had an account. I had been visiting the branch from the month of 2016.
I am survived with 4 children of which my son johny jose is differently abled. One of my daughters, jaya. P. Jose is studying abroad. For the release above mentioned amount we were asked to submit the following documents.
· death certificate of p j jose

· legal heir ship certificate

· legal guardianship for my son johny jose

Since my son is differently abled, a share of the amount is to be deposited to a joint account of mine with my son. On the matter, there was a mail sent to the branch manager at canara bank thalyolaparambu, stating the formalities on withdrawal by district collector, kottayam.
I had been in touch with the branch manager mrs. Sheela aandavan from the month of december’16 for the matter. We had been submitting the documents as per the manager’s instructions. Since one of my daughter jaya p jose is studying abroad, we had submitted a copy of power of attorney. When i visited the branch on 20/4/17, i was told that the withdrawal request cannot be processed without signing appendix 5 form. I took a copy of the same as it had to signed by children. On reading that i learnt it was an acknowledgement that i have received the money.
I walked into the branch on 26th april 17 and enquired with the manager on why to sign the appendix without receiving the money. To my question the response was that it was to make the process faster. When i submitted the copy of power of attorney, she demanded the original of the document. Since i thought it be verified, i produced the originals. She told that the copy of the same cannot be accepted and only the originals are to be submitted. On enquiring if the copy couldn’t serve the purpose of withdrawal process, she told it wouldn’t. The principal document was required for any transactional deeds during the absence of my daughter.
Throughout these discussions the manager, mrs sheela aandavan was raising her voice at me for no reason. She was too rude to me, that she threw the forms on me and shouted at me for the matter. She seemed too rude that i was even told that she would not process the request until unless my daughter who is abroad reaches the branch to sign the documents. I felt humiliated in front of so many other customers, who indeed are my neighbors.
I have dealt with so many other banks and this is the first time i had to undergo such rude behavior. As i mentioned, the process of amount withdrawal from federal bank was at too good service levels. I never expect empathy in service but to rate service level of canara bank with my experience is worst and no words can express the humiliation i went through.
Video recording at the branch would be a solid proof for my statements. My visit to the branch was between 4:30-5:20 pm on 26/4/2017.

I need a solution for this issue at the earliest. I cannot wait for the mercy of the branch manager when i have walked in to the branch many times with all the documents. Why should i undergo through this kind of a mental torture. Why the manager think a customer has to beg with her, a manger should be able to control her emotions. No one will visit a bank to to waste a manager's time or to disturb her, when a customer is spending time that will be for a genuine purpose. It was a very bad experinece.

I have returned a product in amazon for rs 243 and they mentioned that my refund of amount rs 243 has been credited to my account on april 16, 2017. Till now (25 april 2017), i didn't get my refund to my account. I have received a refund reference number and transaction code through mail. These are the messages received from amazon

          On 22.04.2017 i have remitted rs.2371.00 and rs.672.00 favouring flipkart for purchase of canon pinter ink cartridges and pendrives. The payments have been made through net banking in my sb account[protected]Vide flipkart-pzt[protected]At 9.23.40 and 9.00.01) and flipkart pzt[protected] respectively. However, the orders have not been accepted and confirmed by flipkart stating that they have not received the amounts aforesaid.             I had purchased some items from Amazon as I received the items damaged I was refund ₹513 one week ago. The amount is processed by Amazon but not credited by Canara Bank.               Sir, i was transfering one lakh rupees from my canara bank account to my other bank account. It showed transaction failed although everything the ifsc code account number all right. But it showed transaction failed but my one lakh rupees cut. I waited one day but no balance returned. This canara bank upi empower app is full of faults. I am a canara bank employee. When this happens to us how can we motivate others to use our app. Rather i will tell others to not use as it is full of faults and people will lose their most precious money at the time of need. Please think if this money returned in 7days bt at that very moment my money gone and for several days it is lose. So people should not use our faulty app empower.

                I ordered a back cover for my phone from Flipkart using my debit card of canara bank. I cancelled my order and Flipkart told that the money would be refunded within 6 working days. Yesterday, 6 working days were over but I didnot get my money back. When I contacted Flipkart, they said that the money is already refunded and contact bank.They gave a ARN number too. But the toll free number of Canara Bank[protected] is not working. It says to be on line to talk to someone but after 1-2 minutes, the call is disconnected. I want my money back. The back cover was really expensive.

                      Pan number is available in the account from which fd is done and the fd form also has pan mentioned in it. Different fd is also maintained in the account before this fd that too has pan card mentioned it. Still bank manager is asking me to ask my ca to whatever he want but he is denying to help me.

                      My friend sent 13700 four times(54800) to my account on 20/03/2017 through his union bank account. But the whole amount got transferred from my account by itself but his bank balance doesn't show any recieved amount nor his passbook.

                          Few days back i put a complaint against the canara bank vasundara branch - i got an acknowledgement from this site also with complaint no 1535117 in my email id... Surprisingly now i see that complaint is only deleted and i still face the issue of my money stuck and staff there taking no action till date.

                          Wao what a country we live in... Complaints get deleted and wiped out and one day i am sure if govt wants to safeguard canara bank can wipe me out of this world too...

                          How safe we in this so called independent nation.

                          worst service of canara bank continues when you call on bangalore no you are disconnected ...you connect with them thru online chat they disconnect -- why they are hiding from me ...just because they have no answer to my complaint...against their manager and branch staff monica who denied me a PPF loan in the time of emergency just because it is not going to add to their targets.?????/

                            I paid my tax for my site on Saturday I.e on[protected] and I wanted my printed chalen the lady in the bank told to me to come on Monday I went ok Monday they told there printer is not working the next day I went same issue today I went again giving the same excuse, how long does it takes to repair a printer r replace it this not a small shop to give excuses it's a nationalized bank and the lady in that bank was least bothered about my issue.

                              I am working as Senior Section Engineer in Southern Railway.
                              My office working hours is 09.45 AM to 05.45 PM. My salary account is with canara bank. I couldnot withdraw cash from CANARA BANK ATM Machines provided in PAMMAL, PALLAVARAM & CHROMPET RAILWAY STATION which are nearer to my resident and on the way to Chrompet Railway station. Most of the time the ATMs installed at the above locations indicates no cash.
                              I request you to regulate cash loading schedules in ATM Machines so that government employees can withdraw cash from Canara Bank ATM Machines after finishing their office duty.

                              1. I regularly visit the following Canara Bank ATM Machines located at Pammal church, Pallavaram Railway station, Pallavaram bus stand & Chrompet Railway station after 6.00 PM (i.e after my office hours).
                              2. Most of the time, I am getting "Transaction could not be made" message.
                              3. I request you to look in to this and ensure VENDING of cash to cater the needs of the customers.

                                I didn't get an atm card of canara bank from areacode malappuram kerala branch even after 2 mounth i have been started my account. U know the important of atm cards now a days... For to pay online examination, all the bills needs online payment... According to prime minister pledge today's social aspects u know the importants of atm... I am feeling severe difficult of without getting atm...                                   I have tried to draw Rs. 1000 (One Thousand only) dated 18.04.2017 on 6.45 PM by ATM card having saving account no. [protected] at NHAI Canara Bank branch New Delhi.. the machine process my transaction but cash was not despence from atm and machine goes to out of service. The balance of my account shows debit of Rs.1000 as transaction through ATM.
                                  No reverse entry of this amount is shown in my account..
                                  I request to you kindly look into the matter and make a reverse entry of Rs. 1000 as I have not received the cash.

                                    Hi team,

                                    Subject: i'm complaining regarding the irresponsible behaviour of the canara bank melapalayam tirunelveli branch employee

                                    This is in regards with my mom's account[protected], account holder name noorjahan at canara bank melapalayam tirunelveli branch, ifsc code: cnrb0001109. On mar 27, 2017 around 8.10 pm, we withdrawn 4000rs. From melapalayam kvb atm. That was a successful transaction. Post to that, at 8:15 pm, we tried a withdrawl from canara bank atm melapalayam. We got a message on the atm screen that the "transaction is been cancelled" and no cash was dispensed. After that we left the atm and left out of station as it was already planned. But after sometime we got a message to registered mobile that the transaction was debited. We really got shocked as the machine said the transaction was cancelled. This entry was for the amount worth 6000rs. We imediately called canara bank customer care and enquired the case. They said the amount reversal will happen in next 24hrs. But it didnt happen. We came back to tirunelveli on apr 5, 2017. And gave a written complaint at the branch regarding the false transaction. They asked us to come after 10days. Today my mom again went to the bank for enquiry of the false atm transaction. The employee named prabhakaran didnot give proper response to my mom. My mom is an uneducated person. I live in hyderabad. So i was trying to explain the person over phone of what had happened. But he spoke much harsh and irresponsive. He was not interested to listen to either my mom or me. We don't know really what had happened to our 6000rs and really hurting to see the behaviour of a bank employee. Please take necessary action on this complaint and respond to us.
