Dear All,
Please think twice before you take the IPTV connection from ACT TV. I did the mistake of taking it and finally I was taken for a ride.

I took the connection on 1st May 2010 and within a few days the product would not work. I ended up spending my money by calling their call centre to get the product to work. Getting across to their call centre was one of the most difficult thing that you could think of. Now things have changed but then please be aware that it is not a toll free number. You are paying for each minute of holding the call till you get connected(At times it was over 5 -10 mins).

It just needed a small shower or some strong gusty winds to disrupt the services. They kept blaming it on the hardware supporting their product. I had assurances from Mr Raghunandan and Mr Gerard of the organization assuring me that I would not have any problem with their services, but that was never the reality.

They offer a discount if you surrender your existing set top box of other operators. Dont ever do that mistake. I retained my Tata Sky set top box and that was a blessing in disguise as I fell back to TATA SKY which is far far superior to ACT TV, in terms of the service provided by their customer care department and the reliability of the product.Kudos to TATA SKY!! You need to experience the customer care experience of TATA SKY(I have experienced the customer care experience of BIG TV and SUN DIRECT and hence can vouch for TATA SKY).

I tried to push my luck with ACT TV and gave them the benefit of doubt since they were a start up company, but my patience did not help. I finally decided to request for a deactivation 2 months after I had taken the connection and had told them to make the refund. They told me that they will make the refund after I surrender the set top box. The moment I returned that, the very tone from their side changed and they started mentioning the clauses in their agreement form. Eventhough I had requested for a deactivation in less than 2 months or use(totally interrupted service) they decided to deduct Rs 1000 towards installation charges, which they claim as non-refundable. If the product had worked as they had promised, I totally agree with their justification. But even in the 2 months that I tried to use their product, it was never an uninterrupted service(down time might have been more than the uptime). There was always a down time almost every day or very alternate day.Even if it did work, the screen will freeze or you can get to see all the error messages, which I have provided as attachments in this complaint.
Even after I signed the disconnection form(signed the form thrice - for one deactivation), they did not take things forward. I had to send repeated mails to follow up with them to close out my connection. I also had to send repeated mails to them to remind them to process my refund.

I have managed to take some snaps of the error messages that you can experience if you become a customer of ACT TV. Luckily I had captured these pictures as long as the product was with me. This is for your reference.

You can now decide whether you want to become another victim like me or not!!! You have a choice, but I was a victim.

iptv — worthless

Dear sir

It gives me immense pain in informing you the truth of your service despite of your boastful customer services and acheivements. I know this mail is worth nothing for you but I m just giving it a try to open up your eyes in the matter concern. Gentleman let me explain you my experience in detail ie

1. Your Customer care executives are so busy more than you
2. Despite of their busy schedule they are so intelligent and aware about the services that a layman’s information is worth
3. Firstly I booked for a connection of IPTV on 26/10/08; now you must be thinking I am enjoying your services since then but still I m waiting to get connected.
4. There was no reminder from your side despite of my booking.
5. Leaving this experience behind I gave your company another chance by making a fresh booking on 26/03/09, I did it and your executive assured me that the booking is been made, well I waited and on 30/03/09 an executive I would say an illetrate rude and manner less individual called me and informed me that he would be visiting me for collecting cheque and other details, I cancelled all my plans on Sunday and till date I am waiting.
6. Despite of this wonderful experience I called up Custmr Cr. No. again today ie 2/04/09 to reconfirm and to my surprise I got to know that there was no such booking made on 26/03/09, well if that was the case then who called me up for collecting chq. And other details.
7. The story is endless your satisfying customer support reached its height thereafter, suddenly some miracle happened and the cheque and other details got collected on 07/04/09.
8. On every conversation with your company I requested them for a seperate line for IPTV, I reminded them again and again regarding the same.
9. This is nothing I can now feel the efficiency of your collegues and here I would like to mention one name of so called some supervisor lady named Ms. Gunjan, she was very good in assuring the customer but everything was worthless.
10. Today its been more than 2 months but there’s no reply Ms. Gunjan told me the connection is not possible, but why are your executives still calling me in this reference I received another call this same afternoon.

For you all this could be a minor incident but for me it is shocking. Below I am describing all my details and if possible it would be a great help of yours if you can look in this matter and take necessary action.

    Hi All,
    Since last 3 months I am facing the performance issue with beam telecom hence I have raised the below ticket(134505) on 22nd Nov 2010 but there is no use since I didn’t get any proper solution and it is a huge impact on my daily work.

    I had work with Technical support person (Pavan) on 23 Nov 2010 for the below issue. As he said that beam telecom is not supporting to Windows 7.

    I felt very bad with Beam telecom services and I never happy with my net connectivity.

      Hi,

      I have applied broadband connection for 1-year package with Beam Telecom on 28th Oct and also paid Rs.6000 /- in the form of cheque. When I applied for connection, they said they will provide the service within 72 hours and till today (18th Nov) they have not given the connection. Everyday I am trying to call the marketing Executive, he never lifts the phone. Then I tried to call Customer Service daily, but I use to get the same response like my issue will be resolved in next 24 hrs. Also I went to the Office at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on 13th Nov and they said that they will give connection by end of the day 14th Nov. Also the response given by Customer Service executives vary from one level to another.

      Below are the tickets they have opened every time I reached to customer care.

      DO NOT PAY BEAM TELECOM IN A HOPE TO GET A NEW CONNECTION. THEY WILL TAKE UR CHEQUE WITH A LIE THAT THEY WILL GIVE CONNECTION IN 3 DAYS AND WILL NOT GIVE YOU CONNECTION UNLESS U KEEP GOING BEHIND THEM ENDLESSLY BY SHOUTING YELLING AND REPENT WHY U OPTED FOR BEAM TELECOM. I AM ONE SUCH AMONG THE USUALLY CHEATED CUSTOMER OF BEAM TELECOM WHERE THEY TOOK CHEQUE FROM ME FOR RS.3300 AND RANAWAY. 10 DAYS GONE NO ONE IN THAT COMPANY KNOWS WHEN THEY WANT TO GIVE ME THE CONNECTION. NO PHONE CALLS OR INSTALLATION TILL DATE. THE SALES GUY WILL COME IN ONE HOUR IF YOU CALL FOR NEW CONNECTION AND AFTER TAKING THE CHEQUE HE WILL NEVER EVEN PICK UR CALL OR RETURN THE CALL FOR LIFETIME. THEN YOU SHOULD GET READY TO DAILY CALL THE SO CALLED CARELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE WAIT 20 MINS IN THE LINE TO HEAR FURTHER LIES AND LISTEN TO STORIES.

      I HAVE BEEN GIVEN A TICKET NUMBER OF 1255181 BY K.S.RAO OF BEAM TELECOM ON 28/10/2010. GOD KNOWS IF THAT IS ALSO LIE OR I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK WITHIN 15 DAYS AS TOLD TO ME
      we have got beam broadband connection on[protected] night and from[protected] we are unable to acess the internet please check the connections address : MIG-866, 1st floor, kphb colony road no.3, 3rd phase, hyderabad.
      I am facing the same problem. I also went for 6 moths subscription the marketing person Mr. Alikhan [[protected]] told that it will be done in 3 days. On third day I call him up and ask about it he tells me person will come to your home at 5PM no one visits same story is repeated next day. Then I file up complain with customer care [2582408] and the tell me we will get back to you in 24hrs. 24hrs pass by and no one calls back. I again try Mr. Alikhan and he promises me to call back in 30min but no one ever calls back. Many a times their phone rings but no one picks up and at times it is switched off to avoid customers.
      This is ridiculous service and if this is at start what should one expect when they have our money and subscription for 6months.

      It's been 72 hours since (April 12) your sales person came and collected cash towards advance payment to provide Internet connection. The same person promised that some body from Beam Telecom will visit in next 48 hours. After that there was no call from Beam Telecom and no technician visited to provide the cable with connection. In spite of repeated calls, nothing is done till now (72 hours). All the time I hear some excuses.

      The only thing that happened very fast was within few hours of my request (through a call to customer service) for Net connection, sales person appeared in front my door and collected cash and provided a receipt. Also, my email to [protected]@beamtele.com bounced.

      Request you to look into this at an urgent basis as I am unable to work from home for office work and therefore risking my job.

        I am Trinath.I got a beam cable internet connection. I paid it for 3 months package at a time.Now, im out of station.my roomate is using the internet.we have 2 more months paid in advance..I got the connection last month..Now u deactivated it and asking for the bill..He called u many times..But u r not responding..U r asking the bill again..The bill is lost..But i have the login ID, Password in the form of message sent from u. i think the mail address provided below itself is the login id and password u sent is : va78cb.the account is with the name of "k.v.naresh". u have our mobile number also with u..ask for the Date of birth i[censored] want..What other details u want.I think these details are more than enough to check ur database..Bcoz i called u many times when i get a issue with internet and u asked only half of these details to check my data in ur data base..plz take a immediate action and activate the internet connection..i[censored] are not taking any action, i need to take action on Beam cable with the proofs i had with me.plz check ur database..reply me i[censored] want anything more to know..Here are the details of the contact person of my roomate who is using the internet:

          Hi Sir,

          I am G.VAMSI KRISHNA staying in FLATNO 206, SAI GANGA ENCLAVE,NEAR SEESH MAHAL Theatre, Ameerpet.

          I am using a broadband internet connection provided by BEAM TELECOM (formerly BEAM CABLE SYSTEM PVT LTD). I am using a 2 Mbps connection. I am not receiving the speed that has been told. In October 2010 i have faced the issue and i raised a complaint by calling the customer care. They said that one of their technicians will come to my place and resolve the issue.. However they have closed the complaint after 15 days saying that the problem has been resolved. I have raised a new complaint on 30-Oct-2010 regaring the speed issue. Again on 05-Nov-2010 they sent a message to me that the problem has been closed. As of now (06-Nov-2010 12:40 PM my spped satus when checking in http://www.abeltronica.com/velocimetro/pt/?idioma=uk site is UPLOAD SPEED:1.53 Mbps DOWNLOAD SPEED IS 786.24 kbps).

          FYI i have been using the same connection from the past 7 years,. I am receiving a bad response from the customer care or technicians,

            I have been using an Internet connection from Beamtele for the past 1 year. For the last few months I have been facing a problem with connectivity. The service provider is very irresponsive in resolving the problem. I have been calling them atleast twice daily, but of no use. Please render your help in any possible way.
            I AM ALSO FACING THE SAME PROBLEM. TODAY I HAVE COMPLAINED THEM THRICE. EVERY TIME, THEY WILL SAY "GIVE SOME TIME".
            MOST OF THE TIMES, WE GET "SERVER NOT FOUND". IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THE NUMBER. WE ARE FORCED TO LISTEN MUSIC NOT LESS THEN 30 TO 45 MINITES. IF THE TREND CONTINUE, BEAMTELE WILL LOOSE MOST OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

            I have been using an Internet connection from Beamtele for the past 4 months. For the last few days i.e on 8th March 2013 I have been facing a problem with connectivity. The service provider raised ticket (ticket No. 7789102) against my complaint but till date my problem is not rectified, they are irresponsible in resolving the problem. I have been calling them at least twice daily, but of no use. Please render your help in any possible way. Every Time I call to them they saying with in 24 hrs the problem will solve, but I donot know how many 24 hrs they require to them for solving the problem. I work from home, I have weekly targets but since last 4 days I unable to access my system. Please BeamTele I request you to work for customers and donot loss them or test their patience. Today many Internet service providers are there donot lose you constituency.

              Dear All,

              This is to let everyone know about a very bad experience to me from ACT TV, Bangalore.

              I installed their IPTV + Broadband in July 2010 and even from the start the service was very worse and there was frequent outage to both TV and Broadband service. Whenever i called their customer support to fix the issue they took almost 3 days to fix the issue - it means more days without any service @home. Finally i decided to cancel the service and filed a request to cease the service on August 1st week which was never happened even after numerous calls to the customer support till August 25.

              Since then i am trying to get the invoice for the usage period (Complaint No.19690) and refund of my deposit till date and didnt got any response from them. This is the very worst customer service i have ever experienced.

              PLEASE DONT GO FOR ANY OF THEIR SERVICE - IT'S COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!

              Yes Sir,
              I Agree with u. because 7 days i am continous calling for subscription but nobody is giving response,
              only act tv sending the message and complaint no. but nobody will give call back.
              Its worthless service and today 1.7.11. nobody pick the call.

              ACT - TV Broadband — Worst Service

              Act Broadband is the worst service they provide and no one picks the call it get connected to voice mail and response to voice mail that we live. I have paid money for the router and its been more then 3 weeks no one is come and installed.
              Yes I Agree with you and i am also one of the customer facing the same issue. My broadband service is not working from last 3 days and given the complain having complain number [protected]. Now i have decided finally to stop their service, Its worst i have ever faced and also they have worst customer support team.

                We recently took Beam cable broadband connection unlimited package (2MBPS) by paying the entire amount upfront. But from the day the connection was done we are facing issues - I would say really weird issues...

                Some sites open and some just don't. Downloads just don't work. You Tube videos, facebook videos dont play at all, any thick client mail (like IBM Lotus notes) etc dont work. Any site which open but has something to download doesnt work...

                We have been complaining and explaining about this issue since last 4 days since connection, but beam cable has not yet fixed the issue. I have logged 5 complaints, every time they close the request without fixing anything, saying that its resolved.
                Their technicians and admins all are useless.

                I have decided to not give up easily. My next step is to get a refund from them.

                I had been using Airtel broadband since last 3 years without any issues. I migrated to beam because it was bit cheaper. My advise, go with Airtel and avoid beam cable even if its a bit costly. Beam cable is waste.

                I have opted Internet connection from Beam cable on 1st of June 2011 but they did not start my service yet.No one is receiving my phone also from thier customer care also.I have complain so many time but did not get any responce.
                I have spend much money on to contacting them.

                  As I have given a request to Beam Customer Support for closing my internet connection (Support Request Numbar[protected], I am requesting you to please refund me the amount Rs.5500/- which I paid as 6 months subscription to beam telecom for new connection (B-Max 1000) by the cheque number 023554 dated 18/09/2010 ( drawn on Union Bank of India, Mumbai).                   2. Beam telecom promised me to setup the connection by 20/9/2010 evening. But after making several calls to Beam I got this connection on 22/09/2010.
                  3. Connection got down 25/09/2010 morning with message: Network Cable Unplugged.
                  4. After making 30/35 calls to customer care, several talks with supervisor, heard several promises from support guys. Finally Beam telcom sent a technician on 28/09/2010 morning (after 4 days) and the problem get rectified within 2 minutes as there was a loose connection at main router end from where the cable is comes to my house.
                  5. Again the connection went down on 29/09/2010 evening with message: Limited or no connectivity
                  6. So again I raised a complaint on 29/09/2010 with Beam telecom support about it and got a promise from support person that they will send a technician to rectify the problem. Also got a promise from support person that Beam supervisor will give you the call. But till the time there is no call back from Beam telecom support as well as any supervvisor. Also no techinician has visited to my place to rectify this problem.

                  I never got this kind of worst experience from any service provider in my past which I got it in last 9 days.

                  So I am requesting you to please close this connection and refund me the amont which I paid to you.

                  My name is Sailaja, I applied for beam telecom internet connection and paid the money for 6 months Rs. 3300/- on November 1st, 2011, registered account NO. 276420 and ensured to get connection on November 3, 2011. Inspite of number of calls and emails i have not yet get connection till date and everytime when i am calling customer care different people attending the calls and telling the issue will be solved within 48 hours but no proper action till date.

                  Everytime, I am getting email from telecom support team that connection will be provisioned by so and so date. I got 6 dates till date, but no executive had came and given connection and everytime it is skipping.

                  For taking money on the same day they came and collected and ensure connection in 2 days. No phone call has been connected to the higher authority even asking many times and holding line for 15-20 minutes everytime and disconnecting the calls. Same is repeating.

                  Ticket no. 336463 is open from 5th november 2011 but no action till date. As per last e-mail connection has to be provided by 17/11/2011 but response till date only unnecessary ticket number mails are coming without any solution.

                  Please provide me the concerned and higher authority (manager, president, Sr. executive) contact nos who can resolve this issue.

                  Beam Broadband Services — NON REFUND OF AMOUNT

                  beam has taken 340rs for relocation charges and said that have to pay another 960rs for advance and penalty.this cost more than new connenction cost.so i applied for 340rs refund.beam didnt refunding that amount.
                  i have given oral complaint to area incharge & customer care . Iam Having 7 to 8 connection . but they are not responceing me. I have complaint to Ruchi madam, Nodal Officer Mr Willson, And Area mangers also . but they cheating me simply for static ip . My area Incharge is Mr Satish When Evder i call him & Other manger Just I recived Message . I am In Metting . Metting Is Importan then a Customer.

                  Can Any Body Help me.

                  Since four days (i.e. from saturday 13th June 2015) I am not getting the connection, It is showing unplugged and showing a "X" mark on the computer symbol right side of the task bar.

                  Have made lot many complaints through my mobile phone but my query is unresolved.

                    There is no Customer Care service at all in Beam. You call customer care only to find "User Busy" and when call is connected and complaint/request is done NO ACTION is taken.
                    I had applied for a new internet connection and told the executive that due to official work I need it within 24 hours. The executive came within 30 mins to collect the money and promised me that the connection will be done within 24 hours.
                    A technitian came and done the wiring the next day by didn't provide the jack (socket to connect to PC) and said he will come next day as Password is not sent to my mail id/mobile so far.
                    After that I kept on asking to Customer care but no action was take for next 5 days. I called the executive whom I paid for new connection but he didn't pick up my call at all. I contacted area manager also but he said he didn't have any information from Call Center.
                    I'm still waiting for the connection to be done.
                    I suggest everyone to take connection from any reputed ISP who at least could listen to our complaints.
                    Can’t describe the service of beam tele. Every customer just gets frustrated with their customer support guys.
                    They keep creating the tickets for the complaints but no technician will respond you.
                    My own experience, booked a connection 15 days back, the sales person called up and came to my place collected money in just 15 mins. And they promised me in getting the connection in 24 hours.
                    Then started my trouble, I was keep calling the customer care (It’s the only number you could reach), each time I call they raise a new ticket but never get the issue resolved.
                    You don’t believe, I have nearly called them around 50 times in these days (each time I need to stay for around 30 mins on call), but still again if I call they raise a new ticket and send you a sms copy of the ticket. But you never get a response on that ticket.
                    Today, I completely lost my hope getting a internet connection. But as I paid the money for it I am wasting my phone bills calling the customer care.

                    Sincere request to all, never go for an internet connection with Beam tele. It will be your horrible experience in your life. I guarantee.
                    Maybe Beam is not providing equivalent service to all consumers...
                    fortunately, with the Grace of The Almighty, I have had a flawless experience with Beam ever since I took my connection some 8 months ago...

                      Never try to reach beam customercare people through the number[protected].You will have to loose your balance in waiting itself but they will keep on saying...your call is important...bla bla bla....but they will never answer...!... and by the time they lift your call u will end up with zero balance...

                      i paid a sum of rs 2300 wide receipt no 5051 dt. 27/07/10 with an commitment that i will get copnnection with in 72 hrs. but till yet there is no responce. even they are not responding over the phone. once there techniciancame to me and said there is no space for giving new connection and they have to fix alternate box to give fresh connection. i said o k and showed the space to fix it but he very rudely that they have permisson to fix the box above 5 feets.

                      Still now till date there is no responce at all.

I am tired of calling the customer care and giving my identity several times, which had no purpose. When called, they try to convince in a very aproacheable tone that the problem woud be resolved but no one turns up to do so. Yesterday, some one has come and done something which has no impact and i have also received a message that the probelm is resloved, but actually speaking the problem still exists. I am still unable to access the internet. Strictly speaking i have unnecessarily paid for three months at a time. My fifteen days money has been wasted which you people will not return. Atleast I will take care not to renew my internet connection with BEAM TELECOM. I am fed up with your service and would be pleased to have your consious presence at least now to resolve the issue. I had very important work to do in the past fifteen days and I had to spend money on internet cafe inspite of having net connection at home.

                      Hello Sir,

                      I applied for Beam telecome broad band for 6 months package and i paid total amount. They given me service after to months taking of my money, after one month i changed location to 100 meters from my old location, and i request them by customer service to shifting connection , I called on Jan 1st, from that day iam calling to Beam custumer service they said I understand your
                      problem sir...", " Our Technician will get in touch with you and resolve
                      your problem within 24 hours" etc. Nobody attempts to reach the customer
                      enquiring if the problem has been resolved.

                      But no one will get in touch with me, every time same answer for me from you
                      custumer service.

                      I asked them atleast paid my money back but they dont give my money back. I used thats ervice only one month, really iam tired with them, its a big cheating and crime.

                      can you please cancel licence that company forever, because no one will get problems same in future.

                      I have payed rs 2300/- On 27 may 2010, to the marketing executive.

                      He promised the connection in 2 days. Its 26 days now. I DID not receive any connection. I have made 5 calls to [protected] and made complaint, no one is considered. 5 times visited nearest office got careless replies.

                      I am new customer to beam tele, I curse myself I havent seen these comments earlier. I have payed 6 months flat tariff for 1Mbps.It took 3 days to connect the wire, one end to my house, Another day to connect thier end. I am chasing down from last two days, Everytime I call they create a freebie ticket.All along in the calls until now they were refer before commited date they will do. Now it passed .                       I too agree Beam Tele service is worst seen. since 6 days at my home internet service got interrupted and i made daily calls to customer care and registered complain and received complaint ticket number but on same day at evening with out resolving issue/ with out informing they close the ticket. this is happening since last 6 days.
                      i will paid 600 rs per month, give it speed only 500kbps what this plz actione

                      Beam Telecom's customer care is the worst possible example, Me and 2 other guys made payment to beam internet connection, we are waiting since 2 months for the connection. They have provided cable 15 days ago, but which is not active yet. We have called Beam Customer car for more than 30 times and visited the local Beam office at least thrice. Always they said GIVE US a LAST CHANCE, may be they said these words 10 times so far.
                      We have also been informed that our complaints have been forwarded to the higher management ( At least 6 times) but no response.

                      Once a lady from beam called me and asked if we received user id and password. I said her the connection is not activated yet, what could I do with uid/pwd. She informed us that the issue will be fixed in two days, its been 20 days since that call but no resolution. I have requested their customer care to arrange a call with concerned person to resolve the issue, no one bothered calling back. We have paid 25600 Rs. for three connections for this apartment, now they don't care.

                      Beam management is totally ignorant and irresponsible towards their customers. BEAM SUCKS!!!

                      service experience from Beam Telecom. I have been using Beam Telecom since 2 years. For the past 2 months I have been complaining about the network connectivity problem and to my surprise every time a ticket is raised. they have taken the bill 3600 but no connection till now.

                      I am a victim of Beam Tele connection. I purchased an additional router for the existing annual subscription of 25Mbps on 1-4-13. My repeated requests for configuring the new router was answered after 7 days. Besides this since 2-4-13 my request for providing Static IP Address is pending. Every-time they claim to resolve the issue in 24 hours which is a farce. Some of the managers are playing notoriety with the clients by closing the issue via sms, without resolving it. The service is really going from bad to worse I feel to be a victim of their service. My mails to the nodal officers are drained and no reply is given even by them. I pity the management for the induction of worthless and incompetent staff who are only adding ill repute to organisation and discomfort to the clients. My series of ticket numbers from 31-3-13 are 8009183, 8037500, 8042605, 8009183, 8055255, 8070448, 8055255, 8070448, 8107969, 8112772, 8114454 till 12.28 pm of 10-4-13.

                        i never had a stranger experience before. i had approached beam tele, hyderabad over phone on 26th september with a request to provide new broadband connection to my residence at sainikpuri and i got an assurance that their customer care executive (cce) will approach me with in 24 hours and took my mobile no. As i didnt get any response, i rang up again on 28th reminded them about the staus. again i got a stock reply stating their cce will approach me with in 24 hours. today i.e., 29th, till now nobody has approached me. i wonder if this is the sordid response meted out to a prospective customer, what would be the plight of existing clientele.

                        This is exactly the same case happened with me i called these people on22nd Sept. . Telecaller promised me that by tomorrow some will reach you.
                        But no reply till now 30th Sept.
                        Iam a existing cutomer of beam tele. Every montrh I face froblem of slow speed and repetadely signal breaking and the problen were never sorted out in their commited time. This time it was too much...I booked a complaint on 28nd April 2011 and the next day without any concern of mine the complaint was closed and the problem was existed. I again contacted and booked a comlpaint on next day and the same thing was repeated. I booked complaint third time and till now i.e. up tp 5th may the problem is as it was.

                        I lost my more than 8 day's and nobody is taking responsibility...

                        I feel its a very cheap company with cheap policy...

                        Wake up guys or you are going to loose your cusstomers.
                        irritatingly poor response.. It's been a week since i applied for a nw connection, till now, connection hasn't been given... the executives are very irresponsive and rude...

                          I am syed shakeel hussain resident of 14-1-88/6/9 dullapally residency laxmi nagar, opp. gayatri- nagar, borabaonda, hyderabad.500018. i am not geting properly internet service properly, in a months i have complants many times but the beam tele sevices is not responding even i have payed one time 6 months payment at a time . i have taken home connection. i have my old connection sifiy internet connection , but one of the beamtele markiting maneger mr. arshad came to my house and told about beamtele services, is very good , and internet service is very fast. but least its a very bad , poor services. i am suffering with beamtelecom pvt ltd. i have called many times to custumer care, no responding and busy every time . what can do? i will wait till 30th sept of this month , i shall go to consumer court. regarding of this.

                              1) The connection is extremely unreliable ( at least in Telecom Nagar, Gachibowli area of Hyderabad). There is no prior intimation to the customers on known outages - which have become the order of the day. There was an outage across Telecomnagar which the technician confirmed but the Customer service executive confidently said 'everything is fine in Telecomnagar area, there should be some problem with your settings. Our technician will rectify your problem within 24 hours'. This was not the only time it happened.

                              2) It is very difficult to reach customer service. You can try calling the Beam Telecom customer care number and I bet you'll have to wait at least for 4-5 minutes before anyone picks up the call. None of your problems get resolved without at least 2-3 calls to the customer care.

                              3) The call center executives are a waste of your time. You get a standard "I understand your problem sir...", " Our Technician will get in touch with you and resolve your problem within 24 hours" etc. Nobody attempts to reach the customer enquiring if the problem has been resolved. If you are lucky the problem gets resolved. Otherwise you have to call again and get the standard "Our Technician will get in touch with you and resolve your problem within 24 hours". It has been 48 hours since I've reported a problem and a minute back the customer service executive confirmed that ""Our Technician will get in touch with you and resolve your problem within 24 hours".

                              4) They don't have any mechanism to take customer complaints and feedback. The call center executives act dumb when you ask how you can get your voice heard by Beam Telecom management.

                              5) This has been one of the good service providers until a few months back. Now looks like they are not able to scale up. I personally know many of my friends who'll be moving out of Beam Telecom.

                              Hi This is Randeep and I'm holding a beam telcom connection , I dn't want to put my phone no here coz i dn't want to get any spam sms and calls. For reference you can check with my user id [protected]@gmail.com

                              I took the beam connection almost a month back , by paying 6 months in advance. I'm facing issues right from the day of installation :

                              A ) When your field technician came to my place for giving the connection, they didn;t carry a single equipment to get the cable installed properly and all the cables are hanging in my house and make it a total mess. Even after talking with you help desk its not get resolved yet, they didn't get a drill machine also forget the wall clip to giv the wires a proper shape.

                              B ) And suddenly after few days the my connection goes off and why i raised complaits every time it was closed without anything being done. After 5 complaints being closed I had an argument and atlast I came to know that the connection to me was provided from some other flat in the same apartment and they have gone for holiday and poweroff the switch due to which I got affected ( wat a pathetic installation you guys do ) . After almost a week they have make a direct connection to my home ...

                              C) Now the recent issue which still going on , when you get the power connection to the switch from my house , they didn't put any power plug and wire were runing lose and finally it gets out of the power board. Now after 3 complaints and asking the CC to get an apointment with your technicain they didn;t didn't came to my house yet and my internet is down for last 4 days.. ( Ticket no : 1445595 )

                                i applied for conection and made an advance payment. on 15.07.10, The Beam telecom pvt ltd encashed the chq, Not given the connection, When asked for refund it takes 15 days compl no 927567 dtd 26.07.2010. They didnot despatch the chq. One Mr. Mahesh customer Care give wrong/false information the chq is already despatched it will reach with in 3 days dated 16.08.2010. Till date (13.09.2010) i have not received the same and Mr mahesh told to contact Mr Durga Prasa @ himayatnagar br. when visited he is not the concern Person told to go and talk to H.O @ Banjarahills.
                                they give a lame excuses that Their Boss who is @ Main Office in Bangalore is out of station so the chq was not signed.hence could not despatch.(when I approached Mr Durgaprasad Reddy on 03.09.2010)
                                Is this the reply you people give to the customers.
                                this you call a service??
                                Very shame ....
                                very very shameful....

                                befor this complaint i made an online chat with Ms. swapna.
                                she was talikng foolishily that the chq will be despatched on 15 sep 2010 and will be delivered on 15.sep 2010, but today is 13 sep 2010.
                                and telling that their is a delay in courier not by the Beam telecom pvt. ltd.

                                    Hi,

                                    I never faced such a worst situation with any internet provider.
                                    MY BUSINESS STOPPED.

                                    I RAISED COMPLAINT 4 times no body resolved the issue....I Said it is very critical still no use.

                                    My latest ticket No (I got 4 useless ones) 1081053

                                    I am raising CONSUMER COMPLAINT because No body attended the issue.

                                    BSNL is the best i never had any problems even support is very good at patancheru at-least.
                                    BEAM is very bad at service please support to get my money back as i have paid 3300 for 6 month and just 20 days back.
                                    Please do the needful or refund my money back .

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I took the Beam broadband package B-Max-600 (786 kbps) on 01-09-10. At the time of installation they said that it gives unlimited downloads @ 70 kbps. After downloading 30Gb of data the connection was reset to 256 kbps and download speed reduced to 20kbps. Is this cheating or not? Those who did cheating they have to be punished. what steps should i have to take. Please suggest me.

                                      got net connection 2nd june 2010. thow i got username and password on 26 may 2010 . and from the day i had taken connection i can't use net contineously
                                      their would be always problem occured in my net. every 10 to 20 minute my net connection got disconnected . evrytime i have been to disable and then enable. then it will get connected. I inform this problem to my area technician and area manager Mr RAOF but i won't get any serious response. please pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeess. try to understand my problem my parent's are scolding me for this stupid connection.

                                      PLEASE THIS TIME SOLVE MY PROBLEM FROM NEXT ONWARD I WILL NEVER EXTENET MY BEAM CONECTION . I WILL TAKE ANOTHER NETWORK ATLEAST THEY WILL RESPOND ME.

                                      I've paid for the internet connection on 11.12.2010. The executive called by on the next day that he is going to install the connection. He didn't turn up but i got the login ID and Password. I was continously calling the executive and customer care. Executive is not picking up the phone and customer care people giving me the complaint no. and taking 24hrs time, but that 24hrs will not end for them. Today is 16th but they have not installed it and their system shows that installation is done.
                                      I took beam connection two week s ago.There is so much fluctuation in speed.Speed levels are falling from 55Kbps to5 kbps while down loading.it took for me 2 days to download a complete 1.5 GB movie.Speed is reducing as the more time we browse..P-lease solve this problem

                                        my user name is vasireddy securities and account number is 40026.
                                        Im facing a regular problem frequently with my internet the problem im facing is
                                        my internets hub point is connected to a hub wer there is no power 8 hours a day so my network gets unplugged and the beam telecom executives r wer neglgent on my issue they are the worst internet so i demand to to solve my problem
                                        waste beam. cc number never works.
