During installation - three in one connection (Cable, Phone & Internet ) - the person damaged my LED TV set. Highly unprofessional person named Mustafa (Madinaguda, Hyderabad) started arguing with me that installation does not cover putting cable connections to TV set. further added that he is not responsible for any damage to your television set. I request a strong action against such unprofessional workers who even do not understand their responsibilities and deal with customer in these situations.

    Beam cable hyderabad was really good, but now a days, even for a small complaint, they take 24 hours to resolve.. Giving some lame excuses... Now i ask them, as they say 24 hours of grace period, does they really need that time to resolve for small issues...

    When they want to collect monthly rent, they call and come on time and why not on attending complaits.

      When I heard from my friends that beam tele is good in terms of service as well as price I opted for a 1year unlimited 1Mbps plan. Before opting this long term package, I have been advised and promised that if there is any requirement of shifting the connection from one place to other it will be done without any issue.

      After 2months into this package, I shifted my place and informed beam on 22nd August to shift the connection and paid shifting charge of Rs300. Till now I don’t have any update on this request.

      I have called beam customer service almost daily for the last 15 days to know the status. Everytime I call up, your customer service guy would pick up and give the response “your request is noted and will be addressed within 48 hours max”. I get an sms with ticket number as a follow up to my call and that’s it. No response / status update whatsoever from beam. The most frustrating part is - this story is getting repeated daily. I don’t even understand why you raise a ticket everytime I call, when my initial request itself is pending.. who cares for subsequent tickets which are meant for same purpose..

      I am without internet for last 15 days. I am calling beam guys and spent almost 1hr for all these calls … How do you compensate it?? ..

      I just need an answer .. if you can’t shift and you don’t want long term customers, please cancel my 1yr package and return back the entire package amount Rs 6000 /- or the connection immediately by today/tomorrow. I cannot wait further.

      I am so irritated and frustrated with the response / service from you that I would never dare suggesting Beam to anyone.. it’s better to pay few more bucks and get a branded ISP.
      Is this the type of service you want to provide the customers and irritate them in their busy schedule so that no one think of taking beam again.

        Hi Everyone

        I have to inform about acttv Broadband connection.Its very worst service I have never seen in my life.I have an outage in connection for one month,I am calling customer service to complaint daily,but still no technician(technician are bad,even they don't know anything technically) came to rectify the issue.

        Please don't take this fraud acttv connection.

          I am a frustrated beam user who has been trying to get someone from beam telecom to listen to him.
          Please refer the mail below and let me know if you can be of any help here and probably stop my frustration to be pushed further.

          LONG STORY SHORT:::
          I want to go for a refund due to false promises made by the connection booking agent. Even she is now advocating our refund and accepting her mistake while booking, but says that she cant' help with the accounts team. I request you to intervene if you can help me out. I am fed up with calling the support a million times.

          DETAILED:::
          Hi Beam telecom

          While booking the beam cable cable connection with the area agent: Nirmala (cell# [protected]) from Beam telecom, we inquired that if our NeatGear Switch will work with the beam cable connection. And put this as the only condition for booking the connection. Nirmala confirmed the same will work for sure and booked our connection for Rs. 1600 (600 installation and Rs.1000 advance month's rental)

          While installing, the visiting technician Ahmed(cell# [protected]) also confirmed the same, though never checked the connection and slipped out before checking the connection or even putting the tape on the wire joints.

          After sustained calls, another technician Shoiab (cell# [protected]) came and told us that the switch won't work and will require another router to be installed. This is clearly in conflict with the promise made by the agent at the time of booking. And we would thereby like to go for a FULL refund of Rs 1600 paid at the time of installation.

          On a side note about our suffering:
          It took numerous calls even for booking the connection and to call a technician on facing problems required numerous calls and around a week's time. The behavior on the part of the agent(Nirmala) has been totally unethical and misleading. And the services thereafter have been totally anti-consumerist.

          Progress so far:

          The support team told us that an accounts person shall call us with the further information.
          The accounts person denied us the refund and told that its the fault of the sales team and he is from accounts team, so he can not refund this (Does this make any sense at all?).
          I have also talked to the area agent Nirmala and she also told that she will be conveying to the accounts department that it is beam cable's fault and we qualify for a full refund.

          WHAT MORE DO YOU GUYS WANT!!!!!

          Hi Guys, Finally I got the refund amount. Not without numerous calls n all... But finally persistence paid off... Thanks God and thanks to some of the seniors management of the Beam telecom whom I had contacted in the process...
          Happy ending to this case...!

            I am using Beam Fiber 1 Mbps connection from past 3-4 months (20 May 2011).
            On 1 June 2011 I have raised a complaint through costumer service stating I am not able to use my internet connection as it is getting disconnected every 5 Minutes and not not able to connect more than 1 system (PC/ Laptop) using Wifi. The technical team closed my ticket without any resolution and and no technical person came to my place. I have raised the same complaint again on 21 June 2011 and the ticket again got cosed without any resolution on 23 June 2011. Again I raised the same complaint again on 25 June 2011 and the ticket again got cosed without any resolution on 29 June 2011. Again I raised the same complaint again on 30 June 2011 and finally my problem got resolved on 2 July 2011.
            I told the team that I will not be paying the June month bill as I have not used the Internet service properly and also told them that I have raised the complaint on 1 June 2011 and it got resolved on 2 July 2011.
            At that time nobody had contacted me and on 4 August they disconnected my connection due to non payment of the bill. I called the customer service and told the that I will pay the entire due if they deduct the June month bill and send the updated bille to me. I told the same thing to all the collection executive who called me for the payment and they said it will be resolved. But till today this problem is not resolved and I am getting messages everyday for the payment of the bill.
            This is really harassment to the customer. They are not doing their work properly and harassing the customer for the payment.
            I told them that I will pay the entire due if they resolve my problem and will continue the service.

            Please let me know if I have done anything wrong.
            Hope I will get justice by submitting this problem to Consumer forum.

            Beam Fiber Internet — No refund policy and no service during power failure

            I have taken 6 months pack but with No service during power failure and other issues I wanted to cancel my subscription after 20 days use. I requested beam fiber to return amount for remaining 5 months and raised complains no 7260366, 7260228 for which beam Telecom has no refund policy.

              The worst customer service i have ever seen in my life. I have been suffering with partial/no connectivity from the beginning of the connection. No action taken as on today. I am tired of calling customer care and waiting for more than half an hour to connect. Losing all my money paying mobile bills for this calls. I am paying for whole month and getting partial service apart from this wasting my money and time by spending on raising a complaint. A strict legal action to be taken on this worst service.
              Can any one suggest me how to proceed legally

                This is a cheating company. They promised that they are providing trolly bags for the customers. We subscribed for 1 year and payment has been done. But still now there is no response and it has already been more that 6 months . The CEO must be ashamed of this. No one works properly in this company. Always there will be problem with this connection and technical problems. The connectivity is very slow. Bull with this company.

                Even my self was trying to find out the CEO of this company. Because i have internet problem from last 1 week. i have given complaint and i am calling every day to customer care. Technician has dint visited to my residency and he informed to his boss problem was resolved. i don't how come this beam fiber has hired this kind of technicians. till now 10 days has been completed and no one has turned up and resolved my issue.

                BEAM FIBER — Hyderabad's best and fastest Internet Service Provider

                I have been using Beam Fiber services since last 14 months and fortunately never faced any such trouble. Initially when I took this plan of 15 Mbps at Rs 1110, I was getting FUP of 30 gb. But later on they upgraded the same plan with the FUP limit of 50 gb. I was little confused so called up customer care and was very happy when I was informed that I don’t have to pay anything extra. It has got mind blowing speed and the internet connection is always stable. It has given me a wonderful experience in watching online movies and video which I m crazzzzy about. What motivated me to write a positive review about them is I have seek their help many a times but they have never let me down and pretty much up to the mark when it comes to customer care service and fixing the technical issues. My post FUP speed is 2Mbps and whenever I do a speed check it’s always consistent. I am 100% satisfied and would love to recommend it to them who really need a super fast internet connection.

                Amount loss & mental disturbance

                  I registered for an internet connection with Beam Telecom and paid an amount of Rs 5500/- on 7th August 2011.
                  It has been 20 days since I paid and still the service provider has not installed or given a connection.
                  I have repeatedly called and raised tickets. Each the they give a promise that it will be resolved within 24 hours.
                  Ticket numbers: 2725267, 2817583, 2869524

                  Need Beam to respond at the earliest.

                  Beam should change the process of registration:
                  STOP taking money before you get the equipment and install the connection.
                  Customers trusted you and gave the money upfront.
                  If you can't deliver on the promise of giving connection within 24 hours, don't take money from customers. It is a very bad practise and it is a breach of customers' trust.

                    I have taken Beam broadband and at the time of registration I had asked them for basic requirement while setting the account. The person turned up only during collecting the money and after tht whtever I call he directs me to contact customer care. I have opened multiple and multiple tickets and explained my concern to them. Each time they open a ticket and say someone would contact in 48hrs but immediately in a few hours I get a message ticket is solved and closed. None wud have even contacted me. This is a regular scenario. Couple of times someone contacts and says it is resolved and when I mention that no one is even bothered calling or coming they say we will inform technician and that is the end of it.Kindly ensure you people take some action and get value for our money or service

                    Hi iam mahesh kumar i had taken beam broad band connection on 23/8/2011 mail id is [protected]@gmail.com, on the next day of connection problems started,

                    1, At the time of connection your exe promised about the services of the connection i, e abovt speed of the net he says that it is 512 kbps, but it is comming 100 kbps

                    2. Inter net is not comming i called up the exe Mr. Nawaz mob numb : [protected], he answer me do not callme on my mobile, and he says that give the complaint to the customer care office he will take care.

                    3. I complained to the customer care he promised me your problem will solved with in 24 hrs, technician will came to my house he says that, the box of the connection given it is full and problem will raised, technician said you to fix the new box your problem will solved, i agree for that to fix new box he promised me by tomarrow i, e 26/8/2011 by 10a.m. i will fix the new box, he does not came to my house by 5p.m. he came to my house and says that the new box not at came to my office it will take time.

                    4. At the time of connection your exe doesnot know that the box is full problem will arised contnusely, and you to fix new box, more ever technician asking money for new connection and is demanding to us.

                    5. If this type of service you are providing to the customer who as taken new connection in the begning hrs only facing many problems, if i have to recommend to new customer to u what is the use of that, if i faced so many problems till know it will not retified properly and the connection will dancing to our system

                    i request u to solve my problem immedtly, other wise please remove your connection and return my money what i had payed to u . thank u

                    I have taken a beam telecom broad band connection, since the date i have taken it is nearly one month. There is a regular problem of not accessing the internet though there is a beam telecom box in my neighbour house. i have paid Six months payment before taking connection, now i am facing a lot of problem i am not able to complete my works in time.if i give a complaint to the customer care they will say that within 24 hrs your problem will be solved. but i can say that not 24 hrs it is 24 days the complaint will solved.                       i had requested for money back on the basis of money back offer being offered, after a week of connection
                      as i wasn't happy with the services provided.instead, i had received a monthly bill through my mail.
                      however, some technicians came and disconnected it already.

                      well, i was not able to reach the customer care to inquire about the money back offer.
                      i was told, it would take 15 days to process, but its been almost a month now.
                      so , i want to ask is that whether i am getting my money back or not.
                      you guys should not have promised and introduced the 15 days money back offer if you cannot fulfill it.

                        i am using beam since 6 months, a month back i have requested to transfer my internet connection from one location to other it is about 20meters distance.
                        every 3 to 4 days i am following up with them but nobody is responding
                        please don't ever go for beam internet connection such a bad service.

                          Can you please let me know the procedure to file case against BEAM TELE, Hyderabad[protected]

                          I have taken their Internet connection 2 months back on May 28.. Due to Poor service (9 disruptions in July out of 31 days) I got it deactivated...

                          At the start, I paid 1800 (600 for Installation charges non refundable, 600 for 1 month rent in advance and 600 for Security Deposit)

                          Now they are not willing to refund back my security deposit and harassing me with calls every now and then saying they wont refund the same...

                          Pls let me know the procedure to file the case....

                            Since, i've taken the beam connection, im facing continous problems.
                            1. Frequent limited or No connectivity issues.
                            2. Network cable disconnection in our area.

                            I consider the above two issues smaller compared the issues im facing below
                            1. I try reaching customer care number#[protected], none of them pickup and had to listen boring IVR message, i will have to try almost half a day to get one succesfull attempt at reaching customer care number.
                            2. After registering a complaint, i hear back a response saying my issue will be addressed in upcoming 24 hours!!! what? i have to wait for 24 hours for simple network disconnection issue, and this is a frequent problem! and no compensation is provided for the loss of connectivity
                            3. Some how next day some technitian comes, even before he comes here i get a message saying the issue(s) are resolved.
                            and how does this happen? ... this happens because, technician calls the the support team to close the issue, but not the customer.
                            4. I have been raising continous requests regarding various issues i've been facing with beam and everytime the ticket is being resolved even without the technician visiting the place! .... i can share the exact ticket details with dates and all, if i recieve a resposne here
                            5. New issue is, i have paid half yearly rental of Rs. 2,300 through beam tele online portal but still i am getting emails & messages to pay it immediately to avoid disconnection. It's so frustrating.

                            Hi,

                            This is Y.L.Prasad, a customer of Beam. I paid 1 year bill in advance and when I asked to change my connection with in Kukatpally, Hyderabad on 22Feb2013 and today is 12-Mar-2013. Since last 22 days I contacted them not less than 15 times for the service, But the service is horrible.

                            I don't know what to do now, Can anyone suggest me what shall I do now, I just want to teach them a lesson so that, They won't behave like this with any other customer.

                            Changing the address taking 20 days is something pathetic, which I cannot understand how these people are running their show.

                            I can say Beam is BAD...BAD...Very BAD... WORST.

                            I am Sorry to say Like this, But this is what I got from Beam, and I really feel it.

                            I wasted in discussing this problem for more than 7 hrs in cell phone, you can Imagine how annoyed I am with them.

                              Fraud, No connection after payment

                              I applied for new connection of ACT broadband on 9th july'11,For that i called ACT salesman.They gave 1 form,i filled,gave Rs 500 for installation.They told,it will be connected within 5 working days. I called that sales person on 5th working day,he told they are sending the person for installation.5th day went ,6th day went,but no one came.I called their customer care many times,each one told,it will be installed today.2 weeks i called...

                              I have taken an yearly broadband package from Beam telecom 1 1/2 yrs back and everytime am getting network problem due to LIMITED OR NO CONNECTIVITY.

                              Since last 5 days the same issue is coming and when calling to Customer care everytime I get to hear the same ridiculous statements of being sorry and that the issue would be resolved in 24 hrs.

                              THis is continuing since 5 days and neither the customer care officials nor the technical team is able to resolve the problem and activate the broadband network

                              Even sending mails to nodal officer has been futile. The company has a very callous attitude towards the customer's and their problems

                              Request you to guide me for loding a case in consumer court against the company

                              The regulatory should keep a check on these companies and should cancel their license due to such negligence and callous attitude from the company's side

                                I have chosen Beam Fiber to my office. They responded immediately and came to office for initial proceedings. During that time, they promised that connection will be initiated with in 48-72 hrs however after receiving the cheque not responding.

                                Now they are telling that it may take 5-7 days time to provide connection. Above all their staff behave very rash with the customers and highly poor client relationship. I request everyone there, pls do not opt for Beam Fiber, they are the worst service providers in the city i feel.

                                BEAMFIBER — NOT RESPONDING

                                BEAM FIBER BROOADBAND NUMBER IS[protected]. ONCE CALL THIS U WILL NOTICE IT. I HAVE TRIED 35 TIMES TO THAT NUMBER . ITS ALWAYS CONNECTS AND PLAYS SOME MUSIC AND THEN THE IVR TELLS TO STAY ON LINE AND THEN THE CALL GETS DISCONNECTS AND THE BALANCE IS DEDUCTING FROM MY ACCOUNT WITH OUT ANY USE, PLEASE TAKE ACTION.

                                  I applied for the [censored]ing of my beam cable connection from ameerpet to punjagutta on 13th july, 2011. Till now(3rd Aug, 2011) there is no proper response.

                                  I think beam cable customer care doing nothing. There only job is to convence the customer not giving service to the customer.

                                  I have raised a request to shif the connection on Aug 07, 2011 . From that day, the customer support executive says we have logged a request and our area area co-ordiantor will get back to you. This never happened. I kept calling customer care and mailing them. Its been more than 20 days and nobody has approached us to shift the connection. Very frustrating..!!!
                                  I have paid for 6 months as a package including Aug, without using Internet services for a single day during this month. I would never suggest anyone to go for beam cable.

                                  For shifting of internet connection,cutomer care executive informed that it will be fix in 2-5 days
                                  but the complaint is still it is pending Because of poorest coordination amoung Beam broadband service staff, in solving the cutomer issue , the connection need to be shifted with in the same locality in new address Hno. 18-3-463/1/195 , Rajannabavi ,shivaji Nagar hyderabad 5000053. just 400 mts form existing connection , no efforts were made from BeamTelecom team , in lie of not fixing the problem , i want refund.

                                  Yes it is worst service.I requested shiftting my connection on 21st December from Jubileehills to Shanthinagar.
                                  Still now i didn't get any update.Daily I am calling to Beam Customer care.They are wasting our time and money.

                                    Hello,

                                    I am trying to get internet connection from beam telecom since 30 June 2011. Till Date I didn’t get the internet connection and no response from beam telecom why I was not provided connection.
                                    My registered number is [protected].

                                    After I get hold of one of the officer from beam tele through my friends I requested him for the connection he gave cabling and collected the check from me. It was on around 23rd of July. Till now my internet is not up.

                                    When I ever I call to the call center they ask for 24 hours but I never don’t get any response back. Call center is really uninformative.

                                    Can you please look into the case? I have no idea why service is not provided to me.
                                    Please let me know if service can’t be given to me so that I can opt for other service.

                                      They are frauds.
                                      They just take money from us and do not provide proper service.
                                      i had applied for their service on 1-3-2010 but it had started from[protected].like this their service is..then why should i pay for the remaining days??
                                      but still i have cleared all the dues but in the status its showing that there are no records from the last 3 months.
                                      what does it mean???does it mean that i have not paid money from the last 3 months?

                                      i have'nt used their service in this month when i really need it.but still when a person came from their side to collect bill i have given him the money.He said he just collect the bill and he is not concerned about the service.then for what they are collecting money??to provide service ??or not to provide their sadhi hui service???
                                      this is just because of their careless actions/service towards their customers.They just want money money money.but why shoud i pay them if am not getting proper service??
                                      i cant bare this .its enough now.
