This is to let everyone know about a very bad experience to me from ACT TV, Bangalore.

I installed their IPTV + Broadband in July 2010 and even from the start the service was very worse and there was frequent outage to both TV and Broadband service. Whenever i called their customer support to fix the issue they took almost 3 days to fix the issue - it means more days without any service @home. Finally...

We recently took Beam cable broadband connection unlimited package (2MBPS) by paying the entire amount upfront. But from the day the connection was done we are facing issues - I would say really weird issues...

Some sites open and some just don't. Downloads just don't work. You Tube videos, facebook videos dont play at all, any thick client mail (like IBM Lotus notes) etc dont work. Any site which open but has something...

There is no Customer Care service at all in Beam. You call customer care only to find "User Busy" and when call is connected and complaint/request is done NO ACTION is taken.
I had applied for a new internet connection and told the executive that due to official work I need it within 24 hours. The executive came within 30 mins to collect the money and promised me that the connection will be done within 24 hours.

Never try to reach beam customercare people through the number[protected].You will have to loose your balance in waiting itself but they will keep on saying...your call is important...bla bla bla....but they will never answer...!... and by the time they lift your call u will end up with zero balance...

I never faced such a worst situation with any internet provider.
MY BUSINESS STOPPED.

I RAISED COMPLAINT 4 times no body resolved the issue....I Said it is very critical still no use.

I am raising CONSUMER COMPLAINT because No body attended the issue.

I took the Beam broadband package B-Max-600 (786 kbps) on 01-09-10. At the time of installation they said that it gives unlimited downloads @ 70 kbps. After downloading 30Gb of data the connection was reset to 256 kbps and download speed reduced to 20kbps. Is this cheating or not? Those who did cheating they have to be punished. what steps should i have to take. Please suggest me.

I have been a subscriber of it from more than an a year. i have been acing the speed problems since then.

Recently i have migrated my speed plan from 256kbps to 786kbps which accordingly they promised me a good speed.

For a day or two after migration the speed was fine, later on i am getting the speed which i used...

I am Venkateswarareddy from chandanagar ,Hyderabad your sevice is too worst i applied for internet 26th june and i paid for 6 months but you people not given connection finally your service people told my area there is no frees ability this message passed july month ending after that i asked pls give me refund still there is no reacton its too bad i never saw these kind of service in INDIA....

Every time I complain a ticket no is issued to resolve the issue their person comes and does something which he never explains what he has done ,the same problem comes very next day . I have complained atleast a dozen time in this 30 days but issue is not totally solved. I have taken this connection recently and I am fed up of complaining I feel I am cheated by this company.
