Dear Sir.

I am Beam cable broadband user. My account id is 28813.

I have been a subscriber of it from more than an a year. i have been acing the speed problems since then.

Recently i have migrated my speed plan from 256kbps to 786kbps which accordingly they promised me a good speed.

For a day or two after migration the speed was fine, later on i am getting the speed which i used to get in 256kbps plan.

I tried calling to the customer care for a solution nothing happened, every time i call i get a stupid answer. every technician who come to check the problem says it will be resolved but it never did since an year. some times there is no person who can pick the call @ the customer care even in the working hours.

The customer service guys doesn't even provide me the number nor an email id of the head so that i can go ahead and complain to them. They only give me the id of a corporate office. i have even mailed to the nodal officer but there is no solution at all.

I am being cheated.

I kindly request you to help me in resolving the issue.

I hope that there is a solution.

Beam broadband service — Pathetic service

I have taken a Beam broadband internet service subscription on 5th March, 2011.
since 20th march 2011, I haven't been able to connect to the internet. I have been calling up the customer support people every night. They simply open a service ticket. The same gets closed without any confirmation with me on the resolution of the issue. I have been complaining about the same issue 4 days in a row. They said they have raised a priority ticket and the will be resolved ASAP. But, no resolution has been provided yet. Vexed with the attitudes and pathetic service, I asked them to terminate the service and refund my money (as I have paid the rental for 6months in advance). They are saying that they cannot refund the same. This is sheer looting of public money in the name of business. Companies like these should be banned and booked for fraud.

      Every time I complain a ticket no is issued to resolve the issue their person comes and does something which he never explains what he has done ,the same problem comes very next day . I have complained atleast a dozen time in this 30 days but issue is not totally solved. I have taken this connection recently and I am fed up of complaining I feel I am cheated by this company.

      I want getting any internet for 2 days and all the customer service say is: ' Please give us 24 days' . I'm very dissapointed with this.

        soon after i face problem of limited connected, server not found error.
        I call to customer service many times but i got no response later when i try to contact to head office there is no ph of head office at all were adress of offce is available on web site www.beamtele.com, i belive not only me many ppl who use beam facing same problem y don't u take strict action on them..

          It's been a week since I have taken Beam Broadband conncetion, and the performace of the internet is very slow. When I open a video after every 10 seconds it stops showing a message that its downloading and I have registered a complaint with the number 1680977 yesterday but till now nobody has come to rectify the problem. I feel unnecessarily I have taken yearly subscription and the response is pathetic.

            Hi These is Raju Gunnal, Stays at Hyderabad,City College,Mosa Bowli,Andhra Pradesh. i have applied for Beamtele Internet Connection on July 10th 2010, and paid the amount of Rs/- 2300 for 6 Months Plan(256 kbps), before appliying to these i called to the Beam tele Executive(Riyaz and Gouri) for Net Connection he visited my House
            and checked and said we have the feasibility for providing the Connection here and than i have registered for Net Connection with account no. 42855 Bill no. : 54622, and said that i will be getting internet connection with in 7 days, ok i have waited than after some days 15-20 days the beamtele agents used to call me about my address i then provided for internet connection, but no one came and given me internet connection not even a single cable is connected at my house, and after some days i was receiving mails that my ticket with beamtele has been resolved and i got the connection, and some mails from beamtele says my account statement for using the internet connection, i say when no one came and provided me any beamtele internet connection what should i do with these account statement,
            I Say Beamtele PROVIDE MY INTERNET CONNECTION IMMEDIATELY OR REFUND MY AMOUNT BACK WITH INTEREST AMOUNT (as you have kept and used my amount) and i think i have made a big mistake in my life by applying the internet connection with Beamtele as no connection is given they are giving these much of trouble and think if they provide the connection what may happen.
            My Request to the IComplaints officials to have my work done by Beamtele.

            I Net internet — Transfer of connection

            Dear sir,

            I have an Internet connection of I Net . I have been calling them to transfer my connection to my new home for last 4 weeks, but they still not replying my queries. I had visited their office also.
            They were always answering that they will reply after 10mins but they wasn't call me.

            I was telling them to refund my payment because I have already paid them for 6months.

            Please sir do the needful & oblige.

              Beam telecom internet services are the worst services. They donot care if the internet is not working but they will call once a hour if we donot pay the amount. If you call to their customer care phone number, no body will lift the phone.
              i completely agree with the above complaint. It has been a week when i gave them the check. they encahsed the check on 3rd day but never provided me the services. Their customer care executives don't pickup the phone. Even if they do, they keep on raising tickets and do nothing.
              right on dot - Beam telecom service is hopeless to say the least!
              First its like they are least bothered about customers. Me and my group of friends all tried for beam and experienced same service related problems. First Beam people will come only after 7 days of a new internet query.
              Once your advance money is collected They will tell you 2 days which will extend to some 10 days or more.
              Frustrated Enough ...
              Then after the connection They will make customer wait another 10 days for login Id and Password.
              And Voila After 25 days or more all your efforts will pay off as your connection will finally start.

              Is it really necessary...(Airtel people came to my home with installation wire and promised me connection and activation within a span of 3 days but i was stuck with my advance payment to beam.)
              Hopeless, Careless, Do not respect Customers(Executives switch off their cells i[censored] call them more than once)
              the user ids are allotted by beam telecom at their will and wish and despite mail request they dont change or assist the customer. in view of the cyber crime increasing day day how can a customer log in with a false id and user name
              Worst service !!! should ban this telecomm company
              Do you know the Beam is getting record complaints on and average 7200 complaints per day. As per this data we will come to know the problems with Beam.I have been facing problem since 2weeks and not getting solved by their Half Knowledge Service Staff. My sincere request is do not go for Beam Connection. It is Worst Service.
              I have registered withe beam network on 27the -October- 2012 and was given commitment theat withein 48 hours theey will come and install thee connection but theey did not do anytheing before 48 hours when I tried to contact thee concerned person and intimated theat thee 48 hours are completed theen he sent a person to install thee cabling on 29the-October-2012, theey installed thee cable but did not give thee connection by saying theat thee connection box is not present in my apartment.

                mera package 256 kbps ka hai likin mujhe itni speed hasil nahi horahi hai sirf 60 kbps milrahi hai. Bsnl wale ke sarvice bohut achi hai agar aap is bare me kuch hal nikale to acha hoga. Hum aap ki service se khush nahi hai apne to kaha tha k speed jitni hai yani k 256 kbps utni hum ko hasil hogi likin aisa nahi horaha hai likin aap log pehli hote hi aajate hai payment k liye. Hum chahte hai k aap is bare me gaur kare warna hume majburan BSNL ka connection hasil karna padega.

                    My name is Rama Narayana Reddy,iam a resident of Yellareddyguda,Hyderabad.Two days ago my laptop's LAN chip got burned and nearly it costed me around 15000 Rs.I got my laptop diagnised in service center and they informed me that this happened because of power surge thorough internet cable wire.I have contacted the people of Beam tele where in they replied that it is quite common and told me that they can't help.So beware of this connection as i have learnt that many customers suffered with this issue.If they see this and respond to my issue then i will be grateful to them.

                    Hi, Rama Narayana Reddy you are 100% right recently due to power surge through internet cable my desktop and laptop chip was damaged but on contacting Beam Cable instead on accepting their mistakes o[censored]sing cheap quality switches and Power Adapter them they denied continously, but it is confirmed from the service center that it got damaged because of internet cable, so my request to all the beam subscribers to start using a LAN SURGE PROTECTOR which prevent it from the damage to LAN and it costs around just Rs 80-140.

                    this is true with beamcable internet service. it happened in the tolichowki area, where there was a powersurge and the beam had to replace some box. but the after affects of this powersurge in their box fried my laptop chip, and another customer who happens to reside in the same building as mine had to replace his lan card on his desktop computer. two machines in the same building got the LAN chip fried due to power surge that traveled thru their internet cable. i got the same response from the tech guy who came to check my connection.

                    The same happened to my Mac. I luckily had a warranty and got a replacement free of charge. Got on to this forum to post a complaint and am amazed to see how many people share my agony :) Beam Telecom ...wise up...OR you'll be out of customers soon. If you don't tighten up your act I'll make it my mission to save people from your company !
                    thanks for your responses, even we are also using beam fiber, because of fluctuation in their power supply my laptop got burnt, even we given our laptop in the service center and they are saying laptop motherboard also got burnt due the heavy power supply from the LAN cable to the system. really that costed us a new laptop. so pity and poor of service

                      I have subscribed for 2 MBPS speed, unlimited and 24 hrs broadband connection from Beam Telecom, Hyderabad. And as we make an advance payment for the month, when we are facing issues of no connectivity even for 3-4 days continuously, they are careless enough to resolve the problem. Every time I call them they would say issue would be resolved the next day. But they do not pay heed to the plight of the consumers as we have already made the payment for the month. I need help in getting this issues resolved but don't know how to go about it with the kind of careless attitude they are showing for the service they are providing.

                      I am in same boat as you are. I took the BEAM connection and repenting on my decision as I have made advance payment for six months else, would have discontinued the service long back

                      The customer service centre is the worst, I have experienced in my life. They force you to listen to thier costly music for minimum of 10-15 minutes to hear the call will be attended in next 24 hours. The service call is closed after 24 hours irresepctive whether it is attended by technition and no way you can open the service call once again. A new call will be openned without reference to the old and this cycle will continue indefinitely. BEAM never bothered to verify with customer whether the issue has been attended or resolved, they don't feel it is important

                      If anyone wants to check your patience, subscribe to BEAM !!!
                      I totally agree with the previous two complaints. I had two issues this month with Beam Telecom, Hyderabad. All they do is log a ticket on your name and assure you that they will solve the problem within 24hrs. On the Contarary, we will not get any call back from them for the next 2-4 days unless you call them and remind them of your tickets that you have opened.

                      After all the hue and cry, they will call you on one final day and ask you what is the problem you are facing? This would make me cry and go mad at them. This is really not working and it needs to learn to pay respect to Customer's plight.

                        I'm really frustrated with Beam Telecom the service provided by these service.
                        When I called them up for new internet connection immediately within 1/2 hrs the collection executive came to collect money.He promised me the next day it will be connected but for next day nothing happened.I had to call and follow up for minimum of 30-40 times.Customer Executives provide no answer when I spoke no result only false promises.Finally he told it will take 48hrs as in short of Fibre Cables....
                        Finally after I asked for Refund, he promised the next day it will be done. Was greatfull to him that it was done the next day.

                        This is not the end of my problems.............
                        Before taking the connection i had asked them about the fare usage policy for the Plan BMax-600 They clearly stated that there was no fare usage policy applied to my plan. I confirmed it 2 times, then I asked whether the speed would be delivered accurately?.They promised 90% speed guarantee.

                        My connection details:
                        · Plan : 768kbps
                        · Monthly Charges : 600
                        . Installation Chharge : 500
                        . Totally paid : 1100

                        Now after 10 days, suddenly as message comes saying 25 GB fair usage policy, your speed is now decreased to 256kbps!!! from 768kbps dis is disgusting, then I tried calling them, I tried and tried, they cannot be reached through phone! Very bad customer service. I have complained number of times but they did not responded properly and they are saying the same thing that after crossing 25Gb Limit plan will be reduced to 256kbps and low. If they are giving 256kbps its not sufficient to me. Now the next day, I am getting 128 kbps and less! This is very irritating.
                        It is taking too much time to download 1mb files also so much or sometimes try again. So I am requesting that Beam telecom, Hyderabad should respond to this mail they should give us plans or they should do something better as soon as possible.
                        Please,please never take beam, its not worth it and I hope my injustice will be solved.
                        Once again, worst customer service!

                        Dear Sir(s),

                        I am Sashi G Janardhan an extremely unhappy customer of yours (Account No : 98943). I got in touch with your Call Centre on 4th June 2010 and a person from your sales department called me on 6th June 2010 morning from this mobile no : [protected]. He came to my residence on the same day evening and collected the amount of Rs 1200/- (3 months Advance for B Max 400 Plan) and promised that I will get my connection by Monday evening or latest by Tuesday afternoon.

                        I spoke to the same person yesterday (7th June 2010) morning and was told that he will come in the evening. But in the evening I called him umpteen times to get his phone switched off. Today morning, I called him again many times and this person is not lifting the call, this gives a very bad impression of your company and also being my first impression.

                        Yesterday afternoon I was given my Account Number and I thought everything is going on fine, today I got into chat with Mr Lateef and I was told that It will take 2 more days for the connection which is totally against my requirement. I had taken this connection to appear for an important online examination tomorrow. Now another 2 days I cannot wait, but will go with SIFY/Spectranet, who gives connection and then takes money.

                        My appeal to you is, please give me connection by evening today or else my money back

                          Really I'm frustrated with the service provided by these guys.
                          When I called them up for new internet connection immediately within 2 hrs the collection executive came to collect money.He promised at max 2 days it will be connected but for 2 days nothing happened.I had to call and follow up for minimum of 20-30 times.Customer Executives provide no answer when I talked to the floor managers Anuradha ,Vijay no result only false promises.Finally there Team Lead Mr Lee came to my help.He told it will take 4-5 days as they ae in short of Fibre Cables..finally after I asked for Refund, he promised the next day it will be done. Was greatfull to him that it was done the next day.

                          This is not the end of my problems, since last 4-5 days daily morning I have got a new job i.e to cal up the customer support and check with them that why my connection is not working.Finally a Technician comes to my place and checks it up, then it start working. Today (May 26th,2010) from Morning,I called the Customer Support almost about 6-7 times No response.Anuradha provides only false promises and keep extending time 1hr -2 hrs. Now again afternoon,when I again try to reach them they donot come over the line. 10-15 minutes I am kept on hold, with a answer that our Floor Managers are not available.

                          Really Frustrated with such a waste service and customer support. Customer Supoort guys like Namrata donot talk in a proper manner also.

                          I guess the only solution is to take some other connection, as these people have the only work of taking money and cheating people.

                          For sure I'm going to drag these people to Consumer forum for the damage and mental tension they have provided me.

                            beam tele has provided internet services to me with unlimited package subscription. but they have never quoted or stated any limitation under this subscription either on their website www.portal.beamtele.com or during subscription and connection. but suddenly they are saying that you have download limit of 25 GB and they have reduced the speed to 1/3rd of original subscription.

                            It has been one week since i have face my net problem and i also complaint 4 times, the no. are 938041, 930076, 924589, 922679 but yet no response...Moreover my speed was 768 kbps and after 30GB download it comes to less than 128 kbps and no one is doing nothing. I request to all other people please before taking connection make sure you take the right decision because money may have no value but time is the most precious thing. So, please do inquiry before making any such decision...
                            i am also beam tele customer, my case is little different, i did not even cross the 30gb limit but my speed got reduced to 256. iam facing the problem since starting of the month. complainted 3 times, every time they register it and close with ion hours without any correction, hopeless net provider, it should be avoided

                              It has been 3 days since i opted for Beam Cable Internet Services & also did pay the respective amount for unlimited package. Hear me say it has been a pathetic service from such a well known provider. It has been days and yet i didn't get my new connection, this is . The only response i get u'r request is in process, god damn u. I just keep on getting messages ticket number...........my foot.
                              I want my connection up by today evening or else refund the amount.

                              How do customers believe your services when u cant even provide a new connection properly.

The executives are very irresponsible in given the status update, they switch off their mobiles when a customer calls them - horrible this is. Guys please dont bluff when you guys are incompetent of providing a new connection.

                              I dont know if all these screams and complaints will be heared by some body or of just a waste of time and bits.

                              I too had the problem with beam. My connection was lost due to cable damage outside some where in the streets last month. From that date I called to customer care continuesly 3 - 4 times. But every time I had same answer from them that "our executive will come there in 24hrs". But no body called me till date.

                                This Is Kumar From Hyderabad. I am running a Internet cafe. from last two years. I am a Customer of Beam Telecom From Last one and Half year with a user Id [protected]@yahoo.co.in. I am satisfied with their plans but from last two months they have changed their plans without taking the permission from users. I am using 1Mbps Plan for 1500 Per Month. it is unlimited, now the plan changed by them is 4Mbps Plan for the same amount of limited of 25Gb. After Crossing that 25Gb download limit that speed will be reducing to below 1Mbps. This is not at all suitable for net Cafe's why because 25Gb download limit means for net cafe's in one or two days we will use that much about this i have complained number of times but they did not responded properly and they are saying the same thing that after crossing 25Gb Limit plan will be reduced to 1Mbps and low because if they are giving 1Mbps it should be sufficient to me be the net is very slow all of my customers complaining every day so much. it is taking too much time to download 1mb files also so much or sometimes try again. So I am requesting that Beam telecom, Hyderabad should respond to this mail they should give us plans or they should do something better as soon as possible.

                                I guess the only solution is to take some other connection, as these people have the only work of taking money and cheating people.
                                this rule is sucks...
                                I am a new user to BEAM from 2 months, I came to know that beam was sold out and and is changing hands In BANGLORE.The Business men are just looking at the connections and not the service i've a problem from last 15 days and i nearly recharged 500buks to my mobile the customer care says your call is important to us.There are somethings to us which are much important then calling to a call centre, The in that call centre are not aware of technical problems faced by users.

                                And coming to plans for
                                Bmax 400 25gb limit
                                bMax 600 25gb
                                BMAX 850 25gb
                                bmax1000 70gb
                                bmax 1500 70gb
                                why is this varying from area to area and user and user
                                Why the limit is like that when the internet IP you provide is a Shared line and not a Leased or Dedicated one why the limitation and cut in bandwidth.
                                No **** told us from beam that there are limitations in our connections we paid thousands to you for laying connections and no refund for that money and no response once line is laid.

                                    I am a Beam telecom customer having 2MBPS plan (Account Details : Mobile [protected],Registered Email : [protected]@gmail.com). Since last two weeks or so I am getting almost daily internet disconnection and also my speed is very variable . Most of the time I get 256Kbps connection. So everyday I woke up to see that there isn't internet connection and then raise a ticket which gets resolved but no longer for hour or so ..and then again another request ..The process goes on.. Do you have any plan of giving consistent connection to your customer at least which is working always. Please do the needful asap otherwise we are not left with any choice but to leave your service and opt for better and I believe same is the case with many other customer suffering alike me.

                                    Beam Telecom Broadband — Erratic connectivity

                                    I have taken broadband connection from Beam Telecom under the annual package. The connectivity is very erratic. It is almost impossible to get their customer care on phone. Even after getting them on line, after several attempts, they simple listen, raise a ticket and close it the next moment. Ridiculous !!!

                                    Their site mechanic, Bheem Reddy and the site-in-charge Kareem are simply not responsible. They do not pick up the phone, do not keep their word .... less said about them the better.

                                    Since I have paid for the entire year, I am silently suffering for their utter inadequate service.

                                    Request for a redressal of the grievance.

                                    I live in Devi Homes, Hafeezpet, Miyapur.
                                    beam telecom sucks big time. You open a ticket they close it without any resolution. probably the big bosses are tracking how fast they close the ticket. so they will close tickets and never actually work on your problem. The support is a Big Scam.

                                    STAY AWAY FROM BEAM. YOU CANT DEPEND ON IT AT ALL..

                                      I took the connection on the first of April. I called them up and asked them about the fare usage policy for the Plan BMax-1000 . They clearly stated that there was no fare usage policy applied to my plan. I confirmed it 2-3 times, then I asked whether the speed would be delivered accurately; They promised 90% speed guarantee. The speed according to plan is 2 mbps. I took the connection by taking a 6 months commitment and played them. Now after 15 days, suddenly as message comes saying 25 GB fair usage policy, your speed is now decreased to 786 kbps !!! , then I tried calling them, I tried and tried, they cannot be reached through phone! Very bad customer service. Now at the month end, I am getting 128 kbps and less! This is very irritating. Please never take beam, its not worth it and I hope my injustice will be solved. Once again, worst customer service! Never ever take beam.

                                      And see, even online they never mentioned about the 25GB speed breaker for B-Max-1000

                                      I am Sashi G Janardhan an extremely unhappy customer of yours (Account No : 98943). I got in touch with your Call Centre on 4th June 2010 and a person from your sales department called me on 6th June 2010 morning from this mobile no : [protected]. He came to my residence on the same day evening and collected the amount of Rs 1200/- (3 months Advance for B Max 400 Plan) and promised that I will get my connection by Monday evening or latest by Tuesday afternoon.

                                      I spoke to the same person yesterday (7th June 2010) morning and was told that he will come in the evening. But in the evening I called him umpteen times to get his phone switched off. Today morning, I called him again many times and this person is not lifting the call, this gives a very bad impression of your company and also being my first impression.

                                      Yesterday afternoon I was given my Account Number and I thought everything is going on fine, today I got into chat with Mr Lateef and I was told that It will take 2 more days for the connection which is totally against my requirement. I had taken this connection to appear for an important online examination tomorrow. Now another 2 days I cannot wait, but will go with SIFY/Spectranet, who gives connection and then takes money.

                                      My appeal to you is, please give me connection by evening today or else my money back

                                        Customer care of the beam broadband is ridiculous i have taken a new connection but the error cumin as limited or no connectivity but when the technical person came he said prob with my sys LAN but i found it to be working good and when i cal the customer care they are so rude on the call instead o[censored]nderstand the customers request they say u can contact the manager and they give address is this the way to respond learn to stand up for your prob one agent says yes sir there is some prob with under sea fibre cables which has been dc from some country and next moment he changes his statement n say we ar nt wrong u formatt ur sys or chk LAN wat the hell are we suppose to understand by that ? The sales person says if the prob is from beam broadband end they will repay the money back and now customer care guys says they wont pay back any money please check into this matter on high pripority .

                                        Problem - - Water not entering into the washing machine.

                                        Arrived promptly to attend to the call, when checked for Service centre from Online help "[protected]. Removed the defective part to replace it next day.

                                        16/10/2007

                                        Did not bother to call up the customer and inform about the status of the availability of the PART.

                                        Another engineer turned up the next day, un assembled the machine and the program mal functioned. The engineer left the place without draining the water from the drum. Did not stick to the commited time and finally did not turn up to fix the machine.
                                        There has been significant issues affecting ALL ISPs in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and some other countries due to a fault in the primary cable between India and Europe - for about the past 2 weeks.

                                        As such, transfers between Europe, the Middle East and India had to be re-routed through East Asia and the USA.

                                        This issue was resolved this morning and your service should be back to normal.
                                        i agree but as you are saying that the problem is resolved i will see the proformance of the cable and write about it.and one more thing why is it that when the answering machine asks to press 1 for excisting customers and two for new customers, if we press 1 no one picks up the phone even if i wait for 5 MINUTES
                                        and if we press no 2 you pick up the phone so quickly.by this we can say that you only care about the people who have not payed the money.and you dont give a DAMN to the people who have paid the money
