Airtel — Poor Service

I am Neeraj.
Today i went to Airtel outlet,Rajouri garden regarding the MNP from vodafone to airtel.
I Provide them all the documents,but later they said to get the photostate of these documents
Its around 10:30 Am and no shops were open by this time and i wasted my 30 mins in searching for the shop.
This is the first outlet which i seen without the scanner.I have visited Vodafone store and Aircel outlet and they are well versed with all these basic things.
Are Airtel outlet are so poor that they wont afford a scanner/photostate machine or they have but they dont want to use for their consumers.I Am a regular airtel consumer and has around 5 airtel connections with 1 broadband connection.
My complaint is that please give them a photostate machine(comes with all hp printer) so that no other people would waste their time for such small things.

I have purchased a new DTH Service with recordable HD STB on 16.03.2012,
The System has stopped working since 06.04.2012, showing an error 001.
Complaint was registered on the same day, with request No.[protected]Happy code 589)
then an engr. visited same evening, but could not rectify the problem, stating it was a software issue.

Following day another Engr. came and said that the software is fine but the Balun is defective.
After a few hours anothe Engr. (Mr.Deepak Goyal) came. He changed the Balun but the problem
was nor resolved. Then he said that the set top box was defective and it had to be replaced, and it will take
2 - 3 days to replace the same.

Repeated requests/complaints have not brought any result, and daily some one calls and enquires, but has
not visited or rectified the problem.

Today again discussing with Deepak Goyal on Ph No. [protected], he asked us to call the Local
Faridabad office and to enquire for the same. The local Faridabad office on Ph. No. [protected]
was very rude and said it will take about a week, and you can call any one you want and do what ever
you like, and hung up the phone on us, and did not answer the call again on repeated attempts.

Today I am told on your Customer Care (Complaint No. 17726732, Happy Code 564) that it will be
resolved by 11th. 1515 Hrs.

I am waiting for the above timing after which my patience will run out.

I hope the problem is resolved by that time.

After 1515 hrs. on 11/4 without any response, I have contacted Mr. Yogesh on C.Care Number[protected] who said he was connecting me to his senior, but after keeping me waiting for over 15 mins. line was cut off.
Thjen again I trioed and was connected to Mr. Kuldeep who connected me to Mr. Aabid, who promised me that
a positive result will be before 1240 on 12/4, that time also has passed, without any body contacting me are coming for repairs. It looks like my Rs.6000/ have been well digested by Airtel, I have already started copying these mails on Consumer Forums.

I also contacted Mr.Rishi Sharma at 1430hrs. on 11/4, who said he would call me back in about 5 mins., but he never called back.

Today at about 1245 hts on 12/4 again I called on[protected], one ms.Pallavi replied and said that it will be done by today 1500 hrs on 12/4, but no response. She was also requested if I could speak to Mr.Abid, but she declined.

Whom do I beleave??????????????????

I am still waiting.
I will keep writing on the consumer Forums. You have taken my Rs.6000/- without giving me proper servise
What about the after sales service. Are we shaming our own country/ that we dont care for you, do what ever you like??????????

I am Arunkumar from Chennai, I am using Airtel for the past 6years. Mob # [protected]

For the past few months the level of service is so poor.

1, They are activating Alerts and deducting amount without my knowledge. When raised a complaint in customer care they are apolozising but againg activating some Alerts.
2, Lots of booster pack and rate cutter schemes where cut down.
3, No response even if applied for mobile portability
4, For the past 3 days customer care is out of reach and many more.

For the past 6 years this is the 1st time i am so disappointed about the level of service from Airtel.

Airtel DTH — Poor After Sales Service

Recently, I had audio problem with Airtel DTH. I called customer care. Next day a service engineer arrived at my home. The Set top box was replaced at a cost of Rs 750. But, another issue started (Error 14). I called customer care for 4 days continuously. Every time, they said my issue would be resolved by xx:xx time of every next day. But, no one comes and issue remain unresolved. The after sales service is very very poor in Airtel DTH. They should really reinforce their after sales service.

Hi Team,

This is is reg my request for a shift of my IPTV's connection from one room to another room within my house's premises. I have raised a request on 17/May/2012 for the shift of my Connection point. I was very happy that the surveillance engineer visited my house the very next day, He told me that he did not have the length of chord that was required so my request would be completed the next day. I told it was not a issue. But my days of harassment started from that day onward, i have requested for the resolution of the issue at least 10 times since then but every time i get an assurance that my problem will be resolved within "8 Working Hours", and I have been getting this assurance for over a week. It seems like Bharti Airtel's Employees work for less than one hour a day that's why "8 Working Hours" have not completed so far. Every time I raise a new request i just receive a new request number but no resolution.

Yesterday morning I received a call from the engineer and again got an assurance that my issue will be resolved by Yesterday 16:00 IST, but again nobody from Airtel IPTV's team turned up, also over the phone he told me that I would need to make my own arrangements for the chord that was required. the Engineer's name is Hemant his mobile number is [protected]. I was really shocked on listening to this statement as the engineer who visited my house the first time assured me that i wouldn't need to pay anything or make any arrangements for the shift, nor do any other service provider ask for such arrangements from their customers.

Kindly suggest me what is the use of paying my bills on time or continuing with Airtel's services when I m not even getting proper costumer service. If I miss out to pay my bill by even a single day, I would get at least 10 calls within a day, but when I request a service from your side, I don't receive a single communication from your side for Days and Days. I never expected such kind of pathetic and rude treatment from Airtel for a customer of nearly 6 Years. Very Disappointing.
They deducting the money with out intimating the cancellation of Booster Packs. When contact the call centre (198) they are not speaking properly. Mainly Mr.Krishna moorthy who said we will provide service when u pay for booster packs only and we will not service the free offer customers. And he says i[censored] compliant also no problem. This is poor service of Air Tel. When I gave request for Mobile Number Portability they called again and again regular intervals. And gave me an offer for 6 months. As per the call centre the free service is canclled to all the customers. He gave an wrong and improper information. As per him the communication send 15/06/2012. But I received the sms on 16/06/2012 only that also deducting the money regularly.

Airtel is one of the poorest service providers and I am saying this after using for 7 years.

They activate some bloody pack on your mobile without your knowledge and they charge u heavily for that. friends pack, active alerts etc. Airtel should be fined for all such illegal activities. it is our money and we have every right to ask it.

They say i had called a toll free number and thats y the pack has been activated. But i didnt call for sure and i have checked my dialed history as well. i am 200% sure that i didnt make that cal. for raising a complaint, if i speak to customer care, again i am charged.

their DB has to be checked. their coding has to be checked. they are just stealing money from their customers.
Hello. my name is Aniket and airtel prepaid no is [protected]. i am from pune, maharashtra. i am using airtel service since june 2010. i was having friends 4 benefits.. because of poor servie i decided to port out. then company approached me. sevice provider requested of not to leave company as i was being the old customer, he also offered me special service. but i didnt wanted to leave my friends 4 plan. so he assured me that any time i can return to my friends 4 plan.. so i activated special plan with assurance from company to return to previous plan any time.,
now by the time i faced a lot of poor services, and unnecessary deductions. i decided to go back to my friends 4 plan. so i approached company, service provider garunted me that i wil get it activated within 48 hrs. bt nothing happened. by then i contacted company many times.. bt every customer care says that plan wil get activated within 24 hour. everytime i wait bt nothing happens.. since 1 month i am trying.. i am very tired of airtels poor service.
plz help me to get me back my friends 4 plan.. as i am old customer of airtel. thank you

I am the customer of Airtel DTH for more than one year, 15 days before i have changed my residency for that i have requested to change the DTH connection to my new residency, After more followup(Around 10 days) they came and install the DTH before 5 days, After installation i found that the channels not displayed in the night time for that i have raise the complaint again, for that also no response, i an totally frustrated and contacted those people 2 days before and requested them withdraw the connection and refund the amount Rs.1500/- which was paid by me for the instrument(Antenna& DTH), for that for that they are telling only Rs.155 they can able refund and will take back the DTH. Finally they are asked last chance to correct the problem, i accept to repair, but till now the problem not solved, daily peoples from airtel contacted me and asked that is the issue got solved..? i replied no not yet, then they said engineer will contact you and solve the issue, till now i have received 2 persons call(Cont.nos: [protected]&[protected] from airtel told that they are the engineers from airtel will come and attend the complaint, but they are also not yet come, I think Airtel is thinking customer is foooool...they are money minded..service is very very very worst...they thinking about new customers not taking care of existing customers...I am totally fed up with airtel..i dont the any further relationship with airtel...
Kindly look into the matter and ask them to with draw the connection and refund the amount Rs.1500...

Nowadays i hear/see lot of complaints with regards to the Airtel services and their customer support, since its a competitive world, i thought that one in thousand might have had a bad experience with the Airtel service/customer support.

In-fact I was one of the big fan of Airtel as a service provider, but things have drastically changed from last week, as i have purchased a 4G Wireless LTE Router for a price of Rs 4999 and opted for a 4G Post-paid sim card. It's been almost a week i got the connection and the sim card has not been activated and still am calling up every day 5 times to the Airtel customer support and its Zonal manager. Every other day Airtel Zonal manager confirms that it will be activated, but nothing happened so far, as all the promised are just the false promises just to calm down their customer for some time.

Even before buying this 4G Broadband Wifi LTE, i did lot of research in the internet about their 4G LTE service and customer support in Bangalore. I have read lots and lots of complaints on Airtel service and customer support. (e.g. Sim card doesn't get activates on time, poor internet speed, speed fluctuates, not getting the speed what Airtel promotes etc). But i did not trust those complaints and opted for the Airtel 4G with the trust i have in Airtel.

It's so dis-appointing and sad to say that all those complaints which i have seen are true and am getting punished by Airtel for my bold decision on choosing Airtel :-(...!!

At present in Malad (W) Mumbai S.V. Road about 1/2 K.M. area (Goraswadi, Khandwala college, Narsing lane naaka, Shantinagar, Ganpati Temple etc. upto Marve Rd. Signal touching S.V.Rd.) these areas are highly busy and full of trafic, there is no net work of Airtel since noon dtd. 7.6.2013, shop keepers have stopped refilling prepaid mobiles in absence of Airtel net work, the concern authorities sends us computer generated email replies ...!!!
I am Yogendra Udani ([protected]) found that since noon of 7.6.2013 there is no network of Airtel in the 1/2 Km. busy areas of Shanti Nagar, Khandwala College, Narsing Lane, Goraswadi S.V. Road (Malad-West) Mumbai 400064, the handset shows full network signals but while dialing any no. (incl. compl nos. 121 & 198) we get message `Error in connection'...!!

If we cross area of Marve Rd. Signal, automatically network of Airtel starts, yet no proper compliance is made today while I contacted 198 from the area where Airtel network is there, it is told to me that by 13.6.2013 airtel network will start...???

The shopkeepers of above areas have stopped refilling Airtel prepaid services. (For such poor services, how Airtel will be able to survive in business competation...?)
I donate Rs. 30/- to Airtel against mobile no. [protected] but till the date have not got receipt.
SINCE ONE MONTH NETWORK SERVICE HAS BECOME VERY IRRITATING DUE TO THE REASON BEST KNOWN TO YOUR ORGANIZATION.WE ARE UNABLE HEAR AND DELIVER OUR CLEAR SOUND FROM EITHER END.YOU HAVE TO DISCONNECT FREQUENTLY FOR A SINGLE CALL TO RE-CALL AGAIN DUE TO POOR SIGNAL STRENGTH. IT HAS BECOME IMPOSSIBLE TO EXCHANGE CONVERSATION THROUGH MOBILE.IT IS JUST IRRITATING.

IT IS REQUESTED TO GET US RID OUT OF THIS EMBARRASING SITUATION IMMEDIATELY.
