[Resolved]  Airtel Postpaid — Complaints on "Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill "

This is Santosh Chile from Mumbai , a past holder of Airtel Postpaid Connection Number[protected].
On 12/10/2007 , i have disconnected my cell number[protected] for some particular reasons . I got a call from customer care regarding the same and they gave me a complaint id 14832805 dated 12/10/2007. After that i got a bill of Rs 85/- which i have already paid in cash to Airtel executive who had come to my house to collect the bill . Again in this month i 've got a bill of Rs . 380 /- for no reason . Today i again called up the customer care of Airtel for the same , again i got a complaint id 15262846 dated 17/1/2008. I am not able to understand the situation when i have already gave up my connection and also paid the necessary charges .

I request you to resolve my problem as soon as possible .

I have applied for post paid(pre to post paid ) connection 3 months back..

I have submitted all my documents and i paid deposite also.

Till now not yet it is activated . Even though my phone is disconnected from last 20 days.
They are not responding properly for the same issue.
I have been touch with them every day but they not taking any action. And i went office also but even there receptionist also not responding and her behaviour also too much...

Please do needful..take necessary action.

I HAVE TAKEN A POST PAID PLAN ON 21.12.2007 WITH AIRTEL EXECUTIVE MR. RAMJEE (MOB. [protected]) WITH REF. TO ANOTHER EXECUTIVE MR. NEERAJ RATHI (MOB. NO. [protected]). MY MOBILE NO. IS [protected], I HAVE PAID RS. 1000/- IN ADVANCE FOR THE ADVANCE RENT PLANT FOR ONE YEAR. BUT WHEN I RECEIVED MY FIRST BILL IT CONTAINS EXTRA AMOUNT OF RS. 500 & RS. 345/- AFTER TALKING WITH CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE ABOVE EXECUTIVE MR. RAMJEE HAS ONLY DEPOSITED RS. 500/- IN MY ACCOUNT AND BALANCE RS. 500/- IS STILL THERE. NOT ONLY THIS AIRTEL HAS ALSO CHANGED MY PLAN. ACCORDINGLY NOW MY BILL ALSO CONTAINS RS. 345/- AS RENTAL CHARGES PER MONTH. I HAVE CALLED CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES SEVERAL TIMES BUT OF NO USE. I HAVE BEEN HARRASSED FROM PAST 2 MONTHS WITH THE EXTRA BILL OF RS. 845/- PER MONTH. NO BODY WANTS TO HELP ME.

Airtel - Postpaid Customer care — Third class customer care service at Borivali (W)

This is with reference to my mobile number which was converted from prepaid to postpaid on Sept 2007. The new simcard provided by the agents eem to be faulty. Hence could not dial/recieve any calls. Afte a month, i statred getting calls to pay monthly rentals. After explaining the same to the cust rep's about the faulty sim..they showed least interest and continued calling thrice a week for a month. I then reported this issue to the Customer care centre in Borivli (W) close to the railway station where i had to wait for 2 hours for my turn to speak to a cust rep. The cust rep (Leena) did revert back my rentals from Sept 07 to Feb 08, and suggested me to vist them again in a weeks time to collect the sim card. The worst part is i have been visiting them every week and they have just postponed it till date.

The issue is not resolved..Thanks to the attitude of customer care reps in Borivli (W) branch.

It is really very disgusting that a company like Airtel cannot hire professionals in their cust care team. If given authority i would be pleased to fire the customer care rep's in Borivli (W). One of the third class places you would never want to visit.

i am using airtel servise from last 3years and i had taken this card as a coorporate card but suddenly without my permision my plan has been changed, and m facing a huge bill amounts. after that i had cancled my gprs service but i had been charged for monthly rental of gprs service for last 6months and i complained to coustomer service department but then also i didnt got any rembursement after that i had been told that my bill details service is free for me but in every bill i had been charged for the bill details. i am really fed up with this service and even i had paid my bill in the airtel gallery and after paying the bill my servise has been deactivated after two days and i got the mess that i didnt paid my bill.
after all this worst services on what basis you are sayin number 1 services in india

Airtel Postpaid — Airtel PostPaid Bill

Dear Sir,
I have given request for deactivation of my airtel post paid a/c, mobile no [protected], in the month of febuary 2008. Subsequently I received the confirmation from airtel representative that the mobile no [protected] is being deactivated as per the request and the sim can no longer be used for communication.
The sim was not used after feb 29 2008.

But I have received on bill for the month of March 2008 of Rs 284.40 which I paid.
I have received another bill on April 2008 for Rs 419.67

On contacting airtel I am told that the sim is not deactivated.

This is wrong on the part of airtel. I request airtel to take this in consideration.

Dear Sir,
I have given request for deactivation of my airtel post paid a/c, mobile no [protected], in the month of January 2008. when i have paid the last bill that time i requested the person to deactivate my number that time he told me that number will be deactivated but still i am receiving the bill which i have not used .now they are saying that u have to clear all the bills then only the number will be deactivate.

On contacting airtel I am told that the sim is not deactivated.

This is wrong on the part of airtel. I request airtel to take this in consideration.

Airtel Postpaid — network & customer care service

First of all problem is internal comunication problem between airtels different departments i.e billing, maintanance, networking etc. no confirm reply by customer care common reply "request has been forwarded". network problem: i will like to bring in notice of telecom authority please make some rule regarding issue of connections, if the service providers system is not capable of handling so many connection then service provider should not issue the SIM or new connection to customers this should be applicable to every service provider.

Airtel Postpaid Card — Unexpected Bill amount

Airtel postpaid is being charging Rs.30/- per month since last eight months without my notification / request. By asking on costumer care, they are telling so many reasons of activation like, ringtone alert, yahoo service etc. but i have never activated these services.

My contact no- [protected] we have a cug 150-B plan. since last month we are facing frequent disconnetion in our calls whether it is outgoing or incoming. If airtel dosent correct the problem we are going to withdraw the group connection as our billing is from 24 th of every month.

post paid mobile air tel — non deactivation of mobile connection

i requested on 18/04/08 for surrendering the connection of my mobile [protected] as i am stand trfd to bangalore.even though i was told that it will be done by 22/04/08 so far it has not been done.now i am settled in blore and already have another airtel connection here.i do not understand as to why disconnection/disactivation does not take place inspite of several requests through 121 as well as request/complaints registered in net at your site. iam not responsible for delay .i hope you will give me an answer and the amount to be paid for immedaiate disconnection/disactivation as the case may be
Very Poor Service by Airtel

I purchased prepaid number on 24th april and was told that it will be activated with in 2 hours but it got activated by 25th of friday evening, but incoming facility to the number was not activated for whcih i complained again (aleast 10 to 15 times ) then after that the incoming facility got activated after 3 days (i.e on monday) and agian hte number worked for 2 to 3 days and again now all of its services were disabled and agian i have complained but still no response (hopeless service by airtel). Never expected this type of service from airtel as i am having 2-3 postpaid connections of airtel from last 3 years. But now after gone through such service by airtel will never buy airtel connection. and even i dont know what they did with by money i have recharged my number with 398 full talktime but no service is running. AIRTEL is such money eater monster. Customer care employees do not give any complaint number and when you call next time will say your complaint is now registered you have not registered it earlier so we will take another 24 hour to check this and this keeps on going!!! The cycle goes on. Really i get irritated and its disgusting to see such 3rd class services of Airtel.

I am using Airtel Postpaind Since 1 1/2 years i am getting above 3000rs till now eventhough i am talking to CUG only but they giving me this much of bill they told that CUG is unlimited but they are charging me then local mobile to mobile 600mts free but they are not giving the correct Statements. then after that Airtel to airtel is 30p/min and for other mobile 40p/Min, and landline 1.00re/min. For all this i have proof that they are charging on us.

Airtel Postpaid — PLAN CHANGED WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE CUSTOMER

I HAVE A POST PAID CONNECTION WITH AIRTEL AND WAS WITH A PLAN --CORPORATE 249. IT WAS CHANGED TO FLEXI PLAN 199 WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF ME. WHEN ENQUITRED IN THE CUSTOMER CARE IT WAS STATED THAT THE SALES PERSON HAS SENT THE MAIL FOR THE CHANGE IN THE PLAN. THE TICKET NO IS 17546441 AND IAM SURE THAT THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE ANY ACTION .

Amakan Overseas — Excess billing

Sir,

I hsve a mobile connection of Airtel, the number is [protected]. Yesterday, the outstanding amount showing in the mobile was Rs.125, after that I have received 11 messages, all saying that you are subscribed for Hello chat on mobile and Rs.30.- has been charged. After that saying Rs. 10 has charged. For your information, yesterday I have not used these things and the amounts are comping wrong. Kindly deduct Rs.100 which is coming wrong. Today the outstanding amount showing is Rs.235.
Kindly rectify this amount. I am facing lot of problem with this connection. Last month also, I have paid excess amount in the bill. If this will continue, I would like to discontinue this connection. Kindly see to it and correct the bill.
