[Resolved] Airtel Postpaid — Complaints on "Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill " | |
unauthorised charges This is Santosh Chile from Mumbai , a past holder of Airtel Postpaid Connection Number[protected]. On 12/10/2007 , i have disconnected my cell number[protected] for some particular reasons . I got a call from customer care regarding the same and they gave me a complaint id 14832805 dated 12/10/2007. After that i got a bill of Rs 85/- which i have already paid in cash to Airtel executive who had come to my house to collect the bill . Again in this month i 've got a bill of Rs . 380 /- for no reason . Today i again called up the customer care of Airtel for the same , again i got a complaint id 15262846 dated 17/1/2008. I am not able to understand the situation when i have already gave up my connection and also paid the necessary charges . I request you to resolve my problem as soon as possible . This is V.Rama Mohan having postpaid connection number [protected]. I pay my monthly bill through mchek regulary from SBI credit card. When I looked my SBI card monthly statement Ifound my bill an amount of Rs.508.42/-is debited for five times and credited for two times. It is cleared that an amount of Rs. 1016.84/-is debited more. When I discussed with your customer care representative he advised me to lodge a complaint through email. So I request you to credit Rs. 1016.84/- to my account and settle in my next coming bills. Please conform the matter through my mobile.

Airtel Postpaid — Wrongly charging of bill for phone no 9910206557
I had given the request for disconnection of phone the phone was disconnected but airtel is charging the bill. as per the telephonic talk with cc executive the bill will be adjusted from secutity and the balance will be refunded. Till take not refunding my security amount. this is A CHEATING done by airtel.Rohit Agarwal

I am a airtel campus card holder.
I have registered my complaint to the customer care atleast more than 7 times, that i am not getting the benifits of campus scheme.
For some campus cards i am costing 10 paisa and for some campus card i am cosing 1 rupee or 50 paisa.
Most of the time i cost 1 rupee or 50 paisa.
I have lost so much balance in this procedure while calling to campus, once i got refund of 3 rupee from you.
Please take necessary action otherwise i have to go to the consumer court.

Airtel — non compliance of request for converting the post paid plan into pre paid plan
I was alloted a premium connection from airtel for marketing 10 new connections of the co. in the month of June 2007.On 15th oct, 2008, as I was alloted a new connection from my office, I requested to convert my postpaid connection into a prepaid one at Kangra office . The lady manning the office makes different excuses and everytime I visit she gives a different reference for my required job.So far no action has been taken on my request by the co. AIRTEL/Post-Paid Connection — outGoing Barred
I had taken my AIRTEL Post-pais connection on 18-Oct-2008 number [protected], it worked till 24-Oct-2008, after which the Outgoing facility was barred on the grounds that my documents were not submitted, whereas i had submitted all the desired documents asked by the retailer Vyabhav Telecom & Communication at Kalewadi Phata in Pune.Till 28-Oct-2008 the problem was not solved & i was'nt able to call or send my relatives & friends on DIWALI.
Then on 29-Oct-2008, i had sent a mail to airtel on [protected]@airtelindia.com & Nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in, then i received a call in the afternoon of 29-Oct-2008 from the number [protected] at 16:56 Hrs and i was promised that my outgoing call facility will be activated within next half an hour.
But the phone is still on the same mode, i:e out going is still barred.
And they had give me a Service Request Number 19014970.
This service request number is showing the status CLOSED whereas the problem still persists.
I wanted to bring in the notice of the public that AIRTEL has a very poor service standard & no one in AIRTEL bothers about the customers inconvinence.
People say BSNL has poor service now what will you say about AIRTEL.
They are continuously doing false promises & not solving the problem of the customers.
They should be dragged to the consumer forum and heavy penalty should be charged on them.
I would advice you all to think twice before taking any of the services provided by AIRTEL or BHARTI.

After 4 months of this incident, I got 2 new post paid numbers from airtel, they activated my numbers and then put all the services on hold, When i asked the reason for it, they answered that a payment of rs 873/- is pending on my previous number, so unless i make the payments they will keep my services on hold. Now my question is how can a pre-paid number be billed on. Has airtel started this new way of earning money or what?

AIRTEL/Post-Paid Connection — Outgoing Barred
Firstly i will say that AITEL says express your self, but boss when u people barr the outgoing without any reason and that too during DIWALI time how will any one express him self.You claim to be the biggest & best service provider in INDIA & going for Foreign Acquisition, you are not able to satisfiy the customers in INDIA what will u do in other countries.
You customer care is most in efficient reason, my SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER 19014970, was closed without solving my problem can I ask why ????
Retailer is not ready to listen & is very rude, whereas customer care is for self care only, they only call u and say sorry we cant do any thing in this case, when why the hell have you opened Customer care???

Mr. MITTAL you must the complains in Pune Mirror & Times Of India, maximum number of complains are for AIRTEL only.
When you cant provide basic telecom service only, then why are you entering Digital TV & BroadBand Services...
Just to make money & roob the hard earned money of innocent Public.
I would like to say to every one that we should stop using AIRTEL & Bharti Products, & i have done so by taking RELIANCE BROADBAND instead of AIRTEL.
These people should be put behind the barrs for atleast 10 years for roobing the people.
Airtel — Postpaid Connection 09635065544
Few days back i have taken one Airtel postpaid connection. Many problems i am facing in that connection, in which i am jolting someone. When i used to make a call in any no. of BSNL, BSNL Landline or Vodafone, always the network is busy and it will take minimum half hour to make a call and also no one can make call to me from BSNL, Vodafone, etc. One more thing which come in my knowledge is local BSNL can make me call after puting "0" or +91 to make me a call. It's very difficult for me to change my no.I have already lodged the written complaint in [protected]@airtel.com & TM of Durgapur (WB). But they are not responded yet and telling me to change the no. because there is some problem which they can not sorted out yet. Please help me out.

I am using airtel post paid cell service for the last 4 months. I deactivated airtellive internet connection one month back.But stil some amount has been billed for mobile wap services.I placed complaints many times but not getting proper response.Airtel Postpaid — deactivation
date of purchase SIM : 24/10/2008i have bought a new converted plan of airtel prepaid to postpaid as described by one vendor from belapur office(airtel) i have submitted the forms and all the required things. but since 20 days it has not been activated on my prepaid no. and while calling to that vendor his phone is not reachable i dont know his office location.also i have paid the amount to him..please help me out on urgent basis as i m unnecessarily paying the prepaid amounts...
