On Sunday, 31st May 2009, I have purchased Bajaj XCD 125 CC Bike from "Khivraj Motors".
The executive Mohan was there and told me that because of Sunday, we cac deliver the bike only on Monday(1st June 2009), so paid him Rs. 46225/- and balance Rs. 5000/- that i have to pay at the time of delivery.
On next Monday morning I remind Khivraj Motors for the delivery and asked them to check the bike properly before sending the details for the RTO Registration, they assure me the same and ask me to come for delivery at 6:30 pm.
I reached there in the evening at 6:10 pm. and Paid the balance amount of Rs. 5000/- then Mohan showed me the Bike. One of the mechanic was standing along with the Bike, he showed me the space for ToolKit and First Aid.
Then he tried to start the Bike, after several tries and 10 - 12 kicks bike got started and again switched off. So i thoght as the bike is new so is the common thing, after that he started again, and asked me to check the Head Lights. Only one light was working and dipper and Speedometer lights are not working. So with in a minute he opened up the HEAD LIGHT DOME, suddenly 3 more mechanics came and started checking the clamps inside the Dome, but the problem was not solved and the first mechanic took that Dome to the service area inside, after 10 - 15 mins he came back with new DOME taken out from some other XCD Bike, after checking it also, he didn't find the problem so he opened the SEAT, other 3 mechanics also started checking the wires inside that, then they open the TANK, and the SIDE PANELS, (same TIME I HAVE STARTED TAKEN THE VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHS for my future use.) one of the mechanics remove the switches on the Handle and other took them inside, i followed him, he took out the switches from another vehicle standing in the showroom, and replace the switched from them.
As they saw that i am capturing the video they turned off the lights, but till that time i have enogh material to show the CONSUMER COURT.
After that i called one more executive from Inside and told the whole condition of the bike and told them that i will NOT TAKE THIS BIKE AS IT IS MORE THAN 80% OPENED BY THE MECHANICS, AND PARTS ALSO GOT CHANGED.
So he also came out, mean while i forcefully took the Manager(NANCY) number from them and called her as she already left showing her negligence towards the customer, EITHER MANAGER HAS TO STAY THERE OR SHE HAS TO CALL ME WHEN SHE WILL BE THERE, THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE RESPONSIBLE PERSON.
So I called her and she told me THAT WE CANNOT GIVE YOU THE NEW BIKE, YOU HAVE TO TAKE THIS BIKE ONLY, MEAN WHILE SHE TALK TO MECHANIC AND EXECUTIVE, AND TOLD ME THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THE MAGNETIC COIL AND FUSE THAT WE WILL REPLACE TOMORROW (MADAM ITS 1ST JUNE NOT 1ST APRIL, DON'T MAKE MY FOOL) I REACHED HOME AND I CAN'T COME BACK.
The Branch Manager RAJESH was there on the top floor, but he didn't picked up the phone and executive told he that he already left for the day, but i saw him on the top floor talking to one of the mechanic about the cause.
THEN I CAME BACK HOME REGISTERED COMPLAIN against Khivraj Motors in Bajaj Auto Customer Service and still waiting for RESPONSE...
