I am a proud owner of a 15 year old BPL colour TV which is working fine at my native. I had recommended it to many of my friends too. I purchased a CTV at my workplace in Nov 2007. It has a warranty of 3 years including a 2 year extended warranty. My experience with BPL was wonderful which prompted me to go for BPL only. But to my surprise the CTV started giving trouble one by one. It started with a black out at first. I took it to the authorised service centre. They asked me to keep it there. They repaired it and gave me back after a week for which I had to visit them again. Next time the pictures in the screen went downward. We were unable to read the news etc which was at the bottom. Again I took it to the service centre and got it repaired. This time also I had to visit them twice which was far from my place. Now I am getting black and white pictures only and the pictures are down hiding the titles. I strongly feel that the CTV might have been a defective piece. Otherwise it is impossible for a product from such a trusted company to go bad the forth time in this short span of time. Hope you would understand my feelings.
I request that this defective CTV be replaced with a new one since it is within the warranty period. I really trust from my experience that the company is the best CTV company in India. Hope to hear a positive reply from you at the earliest.
