[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Credit card

Issue still pending from last 2 years...

This is regarding my credit card no. 4477 xxxx xxxx 2007 bank icici new delhi, my credit card limit was rs. 20000/- and bank sent me a statement of rs. 34000/-they have charged me over my bill limit and as per cibil i have to pay only rs. 2500/- . For the recovery of excess payment they called me many time even thought i am ready to pay the amount as per cibil, but they threaten me to pay the excess amount, i am mentally harassed by them, bank people call me more than 10 time every day.

I want to settel the due payment as per the cibil only.

Hello

I am having a very difficult time with ICICI Credit Card. I was forcefully provided with a ICICI credit card stating great features of it. However, since the day, I got it, I have had various troubles.
Though I very well knew that it would be very difficult to make my payments, when the card was issues, I was promised that there would be door person availability for collection. I used the card couple of times - made the payment. Hazzles that I had to go through to make the payment has been a grievance. I do not understand why the customer service stays unreachable by all means until the date of payment and calls up only after a week when the amount turns to overdue(just because there is this cumulation of late payment fee).

Every time any one called up, I kept explaining my problem and told them I do not need the card and wanted to know the closure foramlities. The person kept saying they will find me a way and never called back.

After all this, I had made the final balance of 173 rupees, so that there is no due pending on me and sent a mail stating I do not need the card anymore since I did not want to handle this regular pain. And unfortunately, in the due time, I had to shift the place.

After a silence of almost 3 months, now, ICICI bank is reaching out to the previous address and gets to warn the residents saying they will raise a case. This is extremely insensible. When the customer service was provided with the number of change, how can they go and pester some one else.

Though I had closed all the balances, it seems the collection person told the residents that there is around 3K that is pending in payment. In all,

1. Customer service of ICICI is extremely poor
2. Reaching the customer service or bank for any help with just a credit card is near to impossible. Customer gets blocked and there is no way to reach the bank for any clarification
3. Given phones are not helpful, Mails/Fax are never responded.
4. Awful handling of customer along with the collection people.


Please suggest me on how I should handle this case. I would like to file this case against the bank for all the pain and grievances it has put me to.

ICICI Bank — Wrong charges

ICICI bank has wrongly levied charges in my credit card and inspite of my repeated mail communications, there has been no response by them.
Now they are asking me to settle all wrong charges to cancel the card.

We observed that since last 2-3 years, ICICI Bank's service and policies are extremely worst. We are totally frustrated with ICICI Bank's worst service and policies, which we have been never seen in my whole life this kind of responsibilities and irregularities.

According to last example of ICICI Bank's worst policy i.e. I have withdraw 3600/- from my ICICI Bank Account on 29.06.2009 to make a DD and i decide that i'll deposit the 10, 000/- amount after getting my salary on 5 Jul, 2009. Suddenly i met with a serious road accident on 05 Jul, 2009 and hospitalized for surgery for 4 days. When after getting the stable health of mine and going to online deposit the rest amount in my ICICI Bank Account then i saw 827/- has been already deducted from my account on 09 Jul, 2009. So, without any fault, my 827/- has been deducted its extremely ridiculous about your policies. Every time, we'll suffered from ICICI Bank's bad policies since last 2-3 years, when i was opened up the account with your bank. ICICI Bank never intimate the customer before doing any thing like other bank. Every body feels ICICI Bank is worst among all the Banks in India. I have so many proof against your worst policy and bad service related to me and with my other friends & relatives also.
Don't take it easy to this mail, now we are just informing ICICI Bank. We are going to hire an advocate and also launch complain in Consumer court against ICICI Bank Ltd.

Dear ICICI,

I swiped my CC 5011 for 2760/- dated 8th July, 2009 for Levi's- South Ex (Merchant). Levi's has ICICI EDC machine. As per them error "ERR" occured on the machine & transaction was not successful. I paid the amount in cash to them. When i called ICICI CC customer & confirmed about my transaction, I came to know it was successful. I contacted Levi's regarding the transaction & came to know that they have not received the amount. On my request Levi's checked there batch reports to confirm the same but they informed me that they have not received any amount. I have been calling ICICI CC department since 8th July 2009 to report the "DISPUTE CASE" but are not doing it. I really need someone should address my problem ASAP as there is no one to listen.

I have my icici credit card a/c [protected] with Icici bank. On 14/07/09, Internet Transaction of Rs. 52, 985.00 and Rs. 30288 were done from my credit card. Yesterday(16th july) when I received a call from icici bank regarding the verification of my change of address, which was never requested by me, I went ahead and checked online, and found this fraud committed of Rs. 52, 985.00 transaction while verifying my accounts online. I immediately called the icicibank, and blocked my credit card, via complaint number SR[protected] .Today (17th july), I got sms this time time on my cell for another transaction of Rs. 30288 done from my credit card. I immediately called the customer care, and informed about this transaction via via complaint number SR[protected].

I too have informed the nearest police station, and also informed the Cyber crime department.


These are fake transactions, and I would like the concerned authorities to come into action ASAP. This has caused sense of insecurity, and threat to my life and family causing mental disturbance.Customer care doesn't take any care to take action on this. I am requesting to talk some manager and I am put on hold forever.Let me state clearly, this has mentally disturbed me. ICICI Bank is sitting without any responseaction.

I hope ICICI will immediately come into action and address this at the earliest.

Dear Mr.Sinha,

You should escalate this matter to the higher authorities i.e. chanda.[protected]@icicibank.com; sandeep.[protected]@icicibank.com;kamath.[protected]@icicibank.com; [protected]@icicibank.com of the organisation if your matter is not getting resolved in order to have proper resolution.

You may please note that in every cases of SETTLEMENT ; in a prima facie, Banks use to incurr a huge financial loss and thats what as per the guidelines they reserve the right to refer your card details to the negative database/regulators such as CIBIL which appears as " WRITTEN OFF ".

So you should never go for any kind of SETTLEMENT kind of solution in your case.

Hi,
I hold a saving a/c with ICICI Bank Saket (New Delhi) branch and my a/c no is[protected]. They have debited the amount of 827 Rs. against QABChgs, apr-jun09+ST77. I understand that this deduction is for not mentanin minimum balance in your a/c but my complaint is that at the time of opening the a/c I was told that the miimum balance for everyquarter is Rs. 5000/- which now being incresed to Rs. 10, 000/-. These changes are not communicated to us and without any information the amount has been deducted from the a/c. I will request the consumer court to take necessary action and save us from such banks who are following such practices.

I hope u will solve my query as soon as possible.

ICICI Bank — Money Stolen from the bank.

Would like to bring to your notice that i hold a salary account with ICICI Bank since the month of September. in the month of December Amount of Rs.3700. were stolen from my atm. when gave a written complaint about the matter at the branch they said would get back within 45 working days, which they didn’t. However, in the month of January again lost an amount of Rs5400.which they again said would get back to me. And since then i haven’t heard back from them. Have launched a complaint at the vikroli police station as well in April but they did not response as well. Now when i speak to the branch manager they speak in a very informal way and disconnect the call stating that do whatever we can.
CAN YOU PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AS IM ONLY A SALARIED EMPLOYEE AND HAVE NO OTHER SOURCE OF INCOME.
My firm's (SARAVANA MEDICAL) debit card for the current account no.[protected], was missed on 17/07/2009. I am, P.Jayalakshmi, the authorised signatory for the firm's account. Hence please deactivate the debit card immediately and issue us a new debit card.

May i please know that what exactly has happend ? I mean how your money was stolen from ATM ?

1. When you have tried to withdraw a certain amount from your account and got the less amount But the desired amount was debited from your account ?

2. Whether you had faced anykind of burgalary at ATM ?
