    ICICI Prulife / Lifetime Super Pension — nonpayment of premium for 2010/11

    Sir I would like to bring to notice total mismanagement in your company of pestering me for the
    nonpayment of my premium for the year 2010/2011 due on 25/09/10 when the payment has already
    been effected by me intime vide details cited under reference.This shows that there is poor
    coordination between your regional offices and the main office which has resulted in
    mental harrasment to me an my father who has effected the payment.I would be very much obliged if
    a thorough inquiry is made and the concerned suitably warned to refrain from contacting the
    customer withou properly veifying the facts to avoid recurrence of such incidents
    I hope that you will take cognisance of my complaint and reply back the action taken against

      I am a student doing my graduation. I am repeatedly getting calls from the agents of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance agents even after i have told them that i am a student but they are not ready to understand that and are repeatedly calling me again and again. I get atleast 5 cals in a day from themby different agents from the same branch and they misbehave with me. I had arguments with the agents on the phone as well,on asking them their office address they give me my residance address and then laugh on me. They are taking a toll on me. They constantly call me, yesterday i got atleast 15 calls back to back within one hour,they are mentally harrassing me. One of the agents named Gautam Sharma called me and even had the audacity to give me his mobile number and asked me to call him after 10.00p.m in the night and said that "do whatever you can do". They are calling me from different numbers.They are harassing me alot. They call from the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Office situated in HARHA BHAVAN BARAKHAMBA ROAD C.P. I am in a lot of trouble because of them. I need your help

      ICICI Life Insurance — ECS not debited and discontunied police

      Dear Team

      I have a complain with ICICI life insurance.

      I had taken one police from ICICI life insurance with ECS facility of Rs.667 in November 2007. They were debiting policy amount from my canara bank account through ECS. They had debited till August 2008 and september ECS they are telling in my canara bank account the account name and number is wrong.

      My question is if in my account my name is wrong then how they have debited amount from my same account till nine months.

      They have sent me a letter stating that the same reason what i have discuss above.

      So please guide me what i have to do and give me solutions. Please do the needful regarding my complain.

      i made a insurance policy of icici-whole life plan of rupee 4000p.m. agent ne mujse rs.16000 ley(4 kist advance) or use form me cutting karke paise banane ke liye usne ek wrong policy banva di policy aane ke baad manee use kaha to usne policy ko wapas bijwa diya or ek policy banva di or wo bi wrong hi banvai phir dubhara usne policy ko bejha or ek policy phir nai aai jo ki wo bhi wrong thi. last me mane use kah diya mujhe policy nahi chaiye isliye mujhe mere paise wapas kar de lakin unohne yah mana kar diya diya tumhare paise aab nahi milenge. isliye aap meri help kijiye usne mere sath dokha kiya

      ICICI Life Insurance — Misbehaviour

      Hi,

      Its regarding misbehaviour from icici Insurance custmore care. I got a call from ([protected]) at 12:10 PM arround and ICICI executive explaning the Life Insurance plan and Presently I was not intersting in that plan and I cut the phone. Again that Guy called me and start abusing to me . I was very Embarrassing

      I was shocked ICICI having this kind o[censored]neducated, immature and unskillful staff, they don't have skills how to deal wwith client.

      Currently I am having two- account in icici and dealing with demate account. but After this Incident I have to think about not to make more relation with ICICI

      I will appreciate If action is taken from you end. Please inform me the same

        I have taken a policy under ‘ICICI Prudential Assure Wealth – Plus’ from one of ICICIC's brokerage firms Netambit ValueFirst Services. The premium amount is Rs 50,000 and the sum assured is Rs 5,00,000.

        The agent from Netambit mislead me with regards to the policy features. Many of the things he told me are not mentioned in the policy document. I have tried to clarify the terms & conditions of the policy multiple...

        My name is Ripul Gupta, and I am having two policy from ICICI Prudential. Policy Number are 13771647 & 14163731.

        Actually I got a call from one of your telesales man (Mr Manish Makkad :- [protected], [protected]) in March, 2010. probable he is from Delhi.

        He told me that "Policy is very good and It is a sort term investment Plan (3 months only). If I invest ` 30,000 Annually, then I will get ` 42,000 after first year completion and I'll get ` 150,000 almost when my policy will matured."

        It was an impressive plane so I took this policy on 6th April,2010. After 1 week I went to UK so I was unable to be in touch with the bank. But once I back to Pune then I tried to catch him because I didn't received my Policy Documents. After some time I again got a call from same office and the I asked for Mr. Manish. But when I asked my policy documents then he promised me that he will arrange the docs again.

        One of his follow (Mr Pawan Kumar :- [protected]) called me again in June, 2010. and asked me "If I give my next premium now then I'll get ` 52,000 instead of ` 42,000 after first year completion." I was Impressed by this policy again. and gave my next premium to ICICI Prudential.

        But after a certain time I got a mail and SMS from ICICI Prudential, which state," I again applied for a new policy and 14163731 is my new policy number." But I was not interested in a new policy so I came to ICICI Prudential's office then I came to know that both policies are different and locking period is 5 years for each. Total time required to mature is 15 years.

        Then I came to know that I cheated by ICICI Prudential. Then I cancelled my second Policy[protected] on 2nd Aug,2010 from ICICI Prudential's Aundh office. And also requested to cancel my first policy[protected]. This policy[protected] is not in freelook but I didn't get my policy docs yet. so please consider it as it is in freelook.

        Even I trek the policy docs, but all the policy docs delivered on below address which is not mine. and also doesn't have any relation to this address.

          i have paid a premium of rs 7500 in cash to noida icici prudential office carry boy dhananajay .. he said that the receipt will be given to me by 25 th july but to till date i have not received any confirmation of that i ma terribly upset now the no of both the person who arranged the meeting shaili and and carry boty dhananajay are coming out of reach
          plz help me in that matter otherwise i will launch a fir in the name of froggery against them

          Worst customer service!!
          Recently I have made payment using Credit Card 8 Times. And every time web system breaks and message appears that transactional was successful. Payment is on HOLD by credit card company for ICICI authorization which they never received.
          Customer service manager - DIMPLE A. only replies 'Pay the Premium... send error report'. Customer service staff even do not know if there is an option for credit card payment.
          A shamelesss and and fully mismanged compamy. No one responsible. How this company is fooling public? Why people buy prodcuts from this company?

            I was having a Life time policy from ICICI prudential and was paying Rs 25000 per annum as premium. I paid this amount for last 4 years. as per the policy terms, minimum perriod was 3 years and I continued it for 4 years. Now the 5th instalment is due, which I am unable to pay and i wanted to surrender my policy and take my money back on NAV basis.
            I have my all details registered with ICICI Prudential. e.g. Email ID, ICICI Bank Account Number etc.

            Now since I am working overseas, I cannot visit their offices personally to sign any formal application for surrender of my policy. And I am requesting to do the electron tic transfer of surrender value to my ICICI Bank saving account only ( Registered account with Prudential also).

            As usual, ICICI Prudential is very smart and denying for processing of my withdrwal and I cannot afford to incur additinal expense of Rs 30000 for visit to india for this work only and whereas my surrender value is just Rs130000.

            I need intervention that how these insurance companies work on dual standards, one for taking money, you can pay online from anywhere in world, but for withdrwal , one need to be present in their office.

            I am ready to face and provide any verification they require to process. I can send my passport copy duly certified by embassy of India here in Lao PDR or I can request my family members to provide whatever documents they require w.r.t my identity or residence proof and surrender original policy certificate etc for processing the surrender of my life time policy No[protected] Prem Shanker Khandelwal).               Hi

              This is to report the scam being played by ICICI prudential life insurance policy company. We had taken 2 policies (super life time ULIP) worth 2 lakhs and had made our payments regularly for 1st 2 years. The second year we were delayed in making payment and as soon as we got the overdue notice we made the payments. This happened in 2008. But the company later on in 2010 sends back the money foreclosing the policy saying we have'nt made the last payment and just paid us back 2lakhs. We had invested total of 6 lakhs. And now ICICI says they cant do anything about it, as they have closed the policy all the way to the Bombay office.
              I know they are fooling around as they cant figure out how this happened and no one wants to take the responsibity. Im quite disappointed as well, a reputed company ICICI could play such frauds. I request everyone reading this, never ever try to take any policies with this company as they are not trustworthy and the customer service is absolutely bad.

              Icici Prudential Life Insurance — Fraud of money

              I had given Rs. 5000/- to the representative of ICICI Pru Life in October 2008 in cash. I did not receive the Policy, therefore, requested for cancellation and refund of my amount. Due to their intervention by contacting the person, I got refund of Rs. 2500/- only but the balance amount of Rs. 2, 500/- is not paid by the person The company took around 6-7 months to investigate the matter and ultimately on 03.06.09, I received an email from ICICI Pru Life, Mumbai office that my request has been regretted. I have receipt of Rs. 5000/- with me but I have been told that the person who took my money presently not in the company and is not traceable. ICICI Pru Life has stolen my money and is now shirking its responsiblity to refund the money to me.

                I HAVE SUBMITTED A SURRENDER APPLICATION FOR ICICI PRUDENTIAL LIFE INSURANCE AT THEIR KANDIVILI OFFICE THROUGH COURIER AND HAVE THE COURIER'S DELIVERY RECEIPT AS HAVING DELIVERED ON 22ND JULY.

                HOWEVER, I AM NOT ABLE TO GET ANY CONFIRMATION FROM ICICI PRULIFE OFFICE ON THE PROCESS OF MY APPLICATION. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL RESPONDED WITH A TYPICAL ANSWER THAT MY EMAIL WILL BE RESPONDED IN 06 WORKING DAYS.

                AS I DO NOT HAVE THE PHONE NUMBER OF THE CORRECT OFFICIAL CONCERNED IN ICICI PRULIFE, I AM NOT ABLE TO KNOW WHETHER MY APPLICATION IS IN PROPER HAND AND IT IS BEING PROCESSES.

                CAN YOU HELP IN KNOWING THE STATUS OF MY APPLICATION.

                  I was an advisor of I Pru with the licence number 3428065 ( G. C. Avenue branch Kolkata. ). I had joined Edelweiss on August '2013 and then Exide Life June'2015. Still then no new business had done and I hadn't received any renewal commission.
                  From my side I have mentained the sincerity and to my current companies.
                  I had given several mails for cancellation of my licence to I Pru and IRDA.
                  I got response from IRDA but not from ICICI Pru yet.
                  Please give me one e.mail ID where my regination will be accepted and my licence will be cancelled.

                    I am Gaurav Aggarwal would like to bring into your notice that I had taken an Icici pru life stage pension ad policy from your company. My policy number is 14104595. I had taken this policy from Puran Chand who is my known, a person come along with him through icici to explain the benefit & all. I had taken this policy with a Lac of rupee on a good faith of Mr. Puran chand but when I received this policy docs then I come to know that the policy signature’s on the return illustration is not mine… somebody had forged my signatures, which is ridiculous. How can one dare to sign the policy contract on customer’s behalf even I had gone through the policy terms & conditions also, which was not acceptable to me as I was explained. Availing the rights to reconsider I had applied to free look cancellation of the policy within the free look period also.

                    I am not in the town that’s why I send my representative to the noida sector-18 branch (Bhrah dutt tower) to cancel the policy on my behalf along with the original policy bond but every time the operation people of the branch come up with a new requirement & declined the request again & again. Every time I had completed the requirements & send my representative again then they again decline the request….. This was happened thrice on 21st July then 24th July & then 26th July (today). Today they have declined the request due to signature mismatch. A copy of the decline request is enclosed which was taken forcefully as the executives are intentionally refused to give. I would like to ask you that how the signatures can will match as it was forged by some person in ICICI itself. Everything was explained to that operation staff (Prachi Baijal) also and request to corporate or advice us to get our policy cancel but she reacted in a very bad behavior & said whatever it is we need the same signature’s. She told us to get the signatures done from the same agent who had done on the policy docs if it is matched then we will refund otherwise you can do whatever you want we will not return your money. My representative asked her that today is last day for the free look period still you are not returning back the money, what will happen if I keep this policy for next 20 yrs I may not be got any claim or maturity..?? She replied in affirmative and said “definitely sir neither you will get your fund back nor the maturity or claim amount…!”

                    This incident was shocking & it would be a great leaning to me that what mistake, I did to invest in a company like this. This was not the first policy which I had but this was the ever worst experience I ever had while dealing with a life insurance co. How cans forgery has been done at this level on the policy contracts from the staff itself..?? Staff is not at all ready to accept the free look cancellation request even they are harassing the customers like anything. They are threatening on face that today is the last day of free look & tomorrow we will not even entertain you anymore…neither you will be able to get your fund anyways..??

                    This was the height of harassment by the ICICI Pru life & their employee’s also. I am requesting you to kindly take an immediate action against my request, cancel my policy within the free look period and refund the total amount at the earliest.

                    Immediate response will be appreciable because today or tomorrow is my last day for free look, otherwise weather should I go to the court or escalate this chapter in media……………………….Kindly advice…!!

                    Icici Prudential Life Insurance — fraudulent signature on new policy( through transfer of partial fund)

                    sir,
                    I holder of policy no.01908877 and 11299650 am sorry to say that their is a fraudulent misrepresentation of my signature on policy[protected] wherein i have not made my signatures on sales illustration provided in my policy bond.another thing that i would like to bring to your notice is that the advisor took away my policy bond with my signatures by telling me that the amount under my previous policy[protected] would be transfered to my new policy but when i received the policy document the amount was just 25000 and rest amount is still existing in my previous policy(approx.31500)

                    now since i had already handed my bond to the advisor and their are fraudulent signature on the new policy kindly cancel both my policies and return my money as soon as possible and put the case into misselling.

                    this was really discusting, I think regulator had to take a strict action against the life insurance co.
                    what is the importance of free look if customer is not able to get his funds back on time. its useless...are regulartor is sleeping or what...??
                    customer should take this thing up to the consumer court & should claim for the harrasment as well.
                    This is really disgusting on the part of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Why was there a need to forge the signatures of the customer? Why cannot the policy be cancelled in the free look period? If the company wants to restore customers faith and transparency in its dealings, then I am of the view that the money should be immediately be returned to the customer. This will in return bring the company its lost reputation.

                        I have paid up about 25,000 of 1000 pm for 2 policies to ICICI prudential.

                        Some how I am not able to pay the premiums from May 2009. Also I have asked for the refund but they refused to pay me the same.

                        My uncle & mother have taken 2 policies paying Rs.25, 000/- form ICICI prudential
                        (Policy no : 13172416, Date : 31/12/2009
                        Policy no : 13188240, Date : 07/01/2010).

                        People have assured many things to us . they have handed over the policy document to innocent & illiterate people . My mother is a widow & my uncle is doing a very small business .

                        They were unable to pay the amount when they asked for refunding the amount .
                        People started diverting & one representative asked us to wait for 3 years because policy is in locking period . after 3 years we end up in shock they said they can't return .
                        I went to Residency road branch, Bangalore . I met Customer support manager & felt no use CSM can't decide on the policy & we can't meet higher authority people or decision makers .

                        I fell my mother & Uncle has a right's to ask their hard earned money back .

                        ICICI People say that policy is approved from IRDA, RBI ...etc . If we go for any legal actions we can't get justice .

                        why can't people educate us such complications before taking policy . While policy selling their version was different & if we ask for Refunding their version was entirely different .

                        We look forward for Proper Justice I don't know still how many are suffering with this.

                          Misleading tactics in selling of Insurance Policy by ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Policy No. 03483966.
                          Sir,
                          With reference to the above policy, I want to bring to your kind notice the exploitation of common man by ICICI Prudential Life Insurance a private sector Insurance company.
                          1. A Officer of ICICI Life Prudential Life Insurance visited my house and asked me to invest in a single premium policy. I had agreed to invest in the name of my minor son Agam Ghai, aged 1 Year at that time for Rs. 2.00 lakh on 21/09/2006 out of my savings over years.

                          2. While selling the Policy the Officer of ICICI Life Prudential Life Insurance told me that the policy is a single premium policy and has a option of withdrawal almost double the amount after 3 years. As I was aware of single premium policy of LIC on similar lines, I relied upon his words and agreed to the proposal.

                          3. There is no denial to the fact that Policy Papers for the above referred policy were received by me, but I being only 12th pass with Punjabi medium and with little knowledge of English, I could not read & understand the terms and conditions of the policy properly.

                          4. As my policy completed 3 years on 10/2009 and I needed the money urgently for my personal needs, I contacted the company in the month of Feb 2010 to get back the maturity amount against this policy. But to my surprise, I was told that the policy had already elapsed as the due premiums for minimum 3 years was not paid. Further it was informed that the amount of Rs. 60123/- in the form of a cheque payable against the policy had been dispatched through Blue Dot courier on 16.01.2010. It was a great shock to me to know that my initial capital of 2 lakh instead of appreciating has eroded by 70%. Even a simple FD could have yielded approximately Rs. 2.75 Lakhs, but against this I was only getting back about 22 % of this amount, this was biggest shock of my life. It is to be mentioned here that Courier till date is not received. When I contested that policy was a single premium policy, I was told that the policy was not single premium and I was supposed to pay the premium for minimum three years.

                          5. It is further brought to your kind notice that during the last three years I had never received any letter/reminder from the company for payment of premium or any outstanding premium. Also I was not approached by any officer of the company to deposit my outstanding premiums.

                          6. My yearly income of Rs. 150000/- is mentioned in the application forms and the company had made the policy of Rs. 200000/- per year, how that is feasible. Can a person having income of Rs. 150000/- per year go for a policy of with premium of Rs. 200000/- per year? When the fact is that even this one time investment is out of my savings over number of years.

                          7. Even if the policy was sold by misleading facts, had there been any notice or information sent about the outstanding premium, it could have helped me to know the reality in the case and to avoid such a big loss, somehow, I could have arranged the balance premiums.

                          From the foregoing facts. it is very clear that there has been a wrong intentions of these companies to adopt malpractices to maximize their profits at the cost of hard earned money of common man. The opening of insurance sector was aimed at competition and generating more options for the benefits of common man. But with such unfair means being adopted by these private companies, there seems to be no difference in attitude of these companies than the old timer money lenders in our country who had been exploiting the poor and uneducated masses of this country. Such unethical practices of these corporate are required to be to be immediately controlled.
                          Sir¸ In view of the above, it is my humble request to instruct the company to return my capital saved out of my hard earned money over many years along with nominal interest. Also it is my sincere request to issue necessary guidelines to control such malpractices by these companies so that no common man suffer at their hands in future.

                            I write to you with immense frustration and dejection. I have a policy no 02424099 with you since 2006. I never faced any issues with this until this June. I’d been to my bank to request for a statement of account and realized that the ECS for June had not been debited from my account. The Bank manager from Kotak Mahindra had this amount debited from my account on the 18 June towards this ECS.

                              I am getting calls from number [protected] claiming they are from ICICI Prudential and I have already invested in to ICICI Prudential Assured wealth Plus plan just a month back. I was offered a Rs. 75000 bonus after 45 days period. Now I get a call from same number claiming they are from IRDA and telling me that my investment has been moved to Kotak Mahindra plan as ICICI funds are making losses. This is IRDA which a helping customers as ICICI may not tell the truth to customers.
                              I want to find out which company is calling me from this number and I am sure there is big fraud going on to make customers believe that they are from Government body caring for people and make them take wroing decisions.

                                I have applied for health saver policy vide application No: HS02157532 for health insurance for Rs 5.00 lakhs and paid the premium amount Rs 25,000/- vide check /D.D No 000478 Dt 17.02.2010 . I have completed all the Medical Examination Reports ( MER ) in the referal diagnostic centers as mentioned byyou. Till to date i have not received any policybond or health card. kindly issue orders to send the policy bond and health card.

                                  ICICI Prudential — policy created without my consent

                                  A new ICICI prudential policy has been taken in my name without my knowledge or my signature.
                                  The amount for the same has been deducted from my ICICI bank credit card.The policy was created on 14 September 2009.Now they are not ready to either cancel the policy or reveal me the policy no.
                                  I am asked to go to nearest office to enquire about the same.
                                  I did not get any intimation about the policy being taken or the money being deducted.
