In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

subject-complaint regarding unavailability of service. sir/mdam, while i(pnr-[protected]) was travelling in the LTT-GUWAHATI express(5645)date of journey[protected] some miscreants threw stone at the train which broke the whole glass of the AC window(B3 47), just before danapur station and since it was an emergency window which is always a single layered, the whole glass came down.luckily there was only minor injury.when we approached the gaurd he was not at all interested in helping rather started making excuses.then we all passengers of B3 coach had to resort to strike and argued that if the proper repair wasnt done we would stop the train and wont let the train to move further.only after this the gaurd made a call to danapur and patna station and asked for help.even at patna station the concerned staff were reluctant for the work, only after lot of argument a temporary repair was done. such incidence of throwing stone at the train has been a regular incident especially in Bihar area, we are not much bothered about that but what we are bothered about is the delay in service or even no service by the concerned railway staffs...shw some work please..

Subject: Urgently Require Train Bogie Chart facility to be displayed at all the Stations.

Respected Sir/Madam,

You have provided the Train Bogie Chart facility at the stations located at the metro stations. But this facility is not available for the local stations which are relatively small and where express trains halt for not more than 5 minutes.

It is really so difficult for the commuters, especially with luggage and children, to find their train compartment and get into the train within the halting time. And it is even more horrible at night time when most of the train doors are closed by the passengers.

Therefore, please understand this urgent request of commuters and take this matter seriously to provide the Bogie Chart facility at all the stations, regardless of the station being small or big.

Respected Madam,


With due respect, I, citizen of India, want to bring it in your notice the irregularities of railway functioning at SITAPUR CANTT railway station. The station is on Roza-Burhwal line also connecting Balamau line connected to major cities such as Delhi, Gorakhpur, Amritsar, Bareilly, Jammutawi etc.

The trouble faced by passengers are as-

1. The station is the last station of NORTHERN RAILWAY of the route and after that station, North-Eastern Railway's jurisdiction starts. So if the person has to travel to Gorakhpur, Gonda or any other station that is of North-Eastern Railway, he has to go to North-Eastern Railway's adjoining meter-gauge station SITAPUR and the corresponding stations tickets are not provided there.
It creates a great disturbance.
Hence, I request you to install UTS ticketing system at Sitapur Cantt rly station.


2. Sitapur is a populated city and is about 80 kilometers from state capital LUCKNOW, then also it is not connected by broad-gauge line to Lucknow.The old meter-gauge line still prevails between Sitapur and Lucknow.So the passengers suffer from proper connectivity to the city.
Therefore, gauge-change should be done as early as possible.


3. Hundreds of passengers from Sitapur daily travel to National Capital Delhi and a single train(Satyagraha Express) which comes from Bihar does not serve the need.In past, a daily express train did run between Delhi and Sitapur and by time that has extended to Bihar.
Therefore, some trains need to be introduced to this line.

4.Also, there is no amenities provided at any station in Sitapur.

We, therefore, request you to kindly pay attention on my complaint and take necessary actions.

Sub: Complaint against corrupt TTE.

Dear Sir,
My son K.Vikram, 20 yrs was travelling from Jhansi JN(JHS) to Yesvantpur JN(YPR) on 10.01.2010 vide his confirmed Ticket (transaction ID: [protected].) The details are:

The concerned TTE ( name- unknown ) did not allow him to sit in his confirmed seat from Bhopal upto Nagpur for about 6 hrs, as the corrupt TTE allotted the seat to a RAC ticket holder by misusing his official power. At Nagpur, the RAC ticket holder gets down there. Thereafter, my son was allowed to take his reserved seat from Nagpur only.

Request to take appropriate action against such corrupt and insincere Official (the particular TTE ) to prevent from such unfair activities in future.

Indian Railway — Negligence

On 12/12/2009 I was traveled in train number 6603 of maveli express from kanhangad to trivandrum in sleeper class in PNR number[protected] in Handicapped coach an i was no seat to me to seat in the train all the seats where occupied by other travelers hence i was constraint to stand in the train toll trivandrum with my co traveler for this negligence i required compensation of RS 1000000 .(Ten lakh)

I visit the Bangalore Railway station regularly to drop and pick up relatives. But wach time i go there, i only feel i am visiting a DIRTY STINKING building. Is it that hard for you people to maintian a clean and hygenic surrounding??? If you are that incapable, PLEASE hand over the maintainence to a private party so that our visits to the Rail station is pleasant rather than disgusting.

I travelled from VSKP to Raipur on 15.01.10 by 8518. At the time of my booking the ticket on 14/01/10 at 11 am only one berth was available in Sleeper class in Tatkal quota. surprisingly when I boarded the train full train is vacant. the TTE himself told that in WL upto 150 will be confirmed as S5 & S6 coaches are put extra.

If that is the situation, why to sell in Tatkal - it is just like selling tickets in black which nobody appreciates. Railways should play a fair game regarding reservation of berths. We cannot take a chance by booking a WL ticket better to take Tatkal ticket even by paying extra.

Secondly, in the Korba express from VSKP to Korba on both sides for a period of 3 hours general ticket holders/MSTs occupy the reserved compartments, argue and they wouldnot vacate. Even the TTEs are just spectators and say nothing. Vendors occupy with coal, firewood or some other things keeping in toilets.

Passengers who book tickets to have a pleasant journey are not at all provided for nor helped by railway personnel. Here might is right. Proper instructions to be passed on to the TTEs to see that no general ticket holder/MST holder enters reserved compartment.

Indian Railways - Patna Express — Berth Fallen down

I was travelling in patna express from Ernakulam Junction to katpadi on compartment S2 - 48. I had a shock of my lifetime when i climbed the side upper berth to sleep, it has fallen down and i was completely hurt and luckly it didnt go down fully and hence the person who was sitting down didnt get hurt. Spoke the TT and he was helpless in doing anything and we had to sit till the train reached erode and a couple of people have come and taken the berth out. I need to have a clear answer from the respected authorities on the same as it have affected two lives and by the grace of god nothing has happened. I can provide the tickets along with the photographs of the broken berth. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS INCIDENT...???

other — Non availability of bedding in AC coaches

My relative is travelling from Mughalsarai to Bangalore on 19th January 2010. As we have booked the ticket in AC-3 coach, we should get bed, blanketand other facilities on time. But the situation is so depressing for the passanger when he/she is told that all the bedding are over. Don't the attendents carry reservation list and arrange for the bedding accordingly? We dont carry bedding while travelling in AC coach, but in response we get a reply that they cant provide the amenities, for which we have been charged. Cant they arrange it from the next stations? Please do something for this proble.

Yesterday the train No 2643 Trivandrum Express reached 6.30 hrs late to Nizzamuddin Railway station. After waiting so long & met my family, get to know that after the nagpur station 6-8 persons with weapons they are snatching the jewels from each and everyone from General compartment. Its midnight almost 2.30 am & Two persons injured completely & One girl was raped. From my family Four ladies & one male was there & they hit my uncle & snatched each & every thing from them like gold jewels, money, carried goods & laguages. The complete compartment people lost their money & goods.

They snatched jewels & money not only that they treated the young girls like their slaves & ... After they left the train they all complaind in near station but as per their commitment this is fourth incident in same region but realy shocking thigs is if its really happening fourth time then what the railway police & govt doing, they are enjoying???? or calculating the robbary in numbers or exepecting them to surender themself to govt.
From my family almost One lac ornaments lost & suffering from mental disturbed who is going to take the resposible for this.
Its really shocking is there were No police, no guard nor TT came in between that time while such nasty things going. Till now its not came in news.
I was travelling from Surat - Rajkot, by AC Chair Car, and The coach was not opened till the 10 minuts before train departure, secondly the glass of hammer was broken and no hammer was there... what if an accident happend ? or accident will wait for somebody to put hammer in the place ? to brake the glass of the coach ???/ I have photograph of the same..
Dear Sir,
I just wanted to know that a person wish to travel from Pune to Mathura or Delhi did not even get ticket even a month is advance in this off-season. How can he plan his journey 3 months in advance. I have neeb seeing that lot of Agents book the tickets in advance and sell them by chargind hafty amount. The TC never check the identity of the person who is traveling on someone else's ticket.
Please do something to make life easy for the travelers. Either increase the number of trains or open the booking only three days in advance to make sure that opnly genuine passengers are travelling.

dear sir, i want to informe railway ministry that some of the higher officer from eastern railway, cheating student by taking money to give them job in indian railway in a different post.
there are may cases, i do have proof with a sting operation with all the higher authorities.even though they provided the joining letter duly singed by smt mamta banergee.
so i therefore request you to kindly take an serious action against thos frods.

Sir I m Sorry but I am very disagree about your railway enquiry service. Many times I missed my train due to incorrect information provided by you about the train aarival and departure. On 28/01/10 I got information about 5609 that it is running right time for SPN to GZB but it was 12 hours late. and on 22/01/10 Shamramjivi Super Fast was right time but your system was providing information about it that it is late by 3 hours at GZB.
In Raipur railway station (cg), goverment employee of railway not accepting the 50 paisa coins.Whenever i know there is no any declaration o[censored]naccepting of 50 paise coins.

In nagarcoil express there is only one 2tier Ac coach and 3tier ac coach which has limited seat capacity around 60 seats that to half gets booked to different quotas and for remaining seats there is a competition and ticket goes in W/L why dont u increase the no of Ac coaches for short distance train there is 3-4 Ac coaches and nagarcoil is a long distance train there has to be 2-3 Ac coaches and also the maintainence of Ac coaches is very bad cockroaches and rats roam here and there.

i usually trvel in train that goes from mumbai-chennai in Ac coach in that irctc charges 45rs for 1 meal and food is so bad that u cant eat for eating chapati u need a very strong teeth and dal/samber is just like a yellow water u r charging 45rs atleast give some good food
