[Resolved]  Indian Railway — Miss management at AC coaches

In all the pantry cars of Indian railway pantry car ,they are nit providing biscuit with tea.The qulity of food is aldo extremely bad.

Respected Madam,

In light of the judgement, IR has removed side bearths in most of the trains. It is pertinent to observe that they have not so far put the upper side bearth to its previous level which is very much un-comfortable for the heighted person who is allotted this bearth. Also, it is humbly requested that while booking the Rail Ticket, the allocation of bearth may be displayed on each and every portal so as to confirm the booking. In present situation though there is such facility while booking eticket, the payment is passed to IRCTS which takes 3 or 4 days' time period for refund. Kindly, look into this suggestion so as to facilitate the commuters at large who feel annoyed for allocation of such bearth.

Indian Railways — Due to Delay of train I missed my flight from New Delhi to USA

On 21st Jan , I boarded from kanpur on a train 2301 , Calcutta - New Delhi Rajdhani. The Scheduled time was on kanpur at 4:45 AM but it came at 11 AM . It started at 11:30 AM from kanpur to delhi , usually it takes 5 hours from Kanpur to Delhi but on that day it took 14 Hrs to reach delhi and eventually I missed my flight from Delhi to USA . I had a conference which I could not attend due to this. The cost of ticket was 50,000 Rs. Please do tell me what should I do now ? I am a student doing my M.Tech. Is there any way to get compensation for this.

We - Indian citizens are travelling from New Delhi to Amritsar in Shane Punjab ( Train Number : 2497)
on Feb 10 2010. The time right now is 11:53 AM. Coach number is D8( 19095 ). We really want to say something to Indian railway's big shots that efforts to bring Indian railways in good condition are really not working. Because right now my coach is smelling so bad due to miserable toilet conditions. The moment
we boarded the train there were no seat numbers mentioned on seats due to which every passanger got irated and there was lot of chaos in train, I am specifically mentioning Coach number D8( 19095 ). There were no iron rods or grills on window due to which there was an atmosphere of insecurity amongst several passangers. I am not sure how we are ignoring these things?? These are the matters of high urgency and
high priorities..We dont think that any big person of Indian railway has ever tried to use washroom or sat on the seats on which we are sitting!!! I am sorry for Indian railways..We can never make our India good place to live in if common people are ignored like this..Please take strict to make India better place to live in...
when momta banerjee handeled the railway department the service of railway department day day decreasing. no good facilites are avialable in a/c coaches. when lalu prasad yadav handled the railway department, the service was far better than todays service. before no one entering in a/c coaches except pantary workers. but now all outside people are entering in a/c coaches also. so what is the safety of a/c coaches . its not mean that a/c coaches is only for cool air. there is another word also attach i.e safety and security . which now not avialable in a/c coaches. so i dont know what mamta banerjee was doing now a days...

Train No. 1ALH Toilets (Sleeper coach) is very very dirty. One toilet have without door Dt. 13thFeb.10

Indian Railway — Status of Saradhan overbridge,ajmer

I am a resident of ajmer and would like to complain against the status of Saradhana over bridge ajmer.The over bridge is uncompleted for two years.railway crossing gate also coled from 2 years and bypass road is in a very bad condition . The traffic has increased so much, but the road still remains as it was earlier. Nobody cares for the uncompleted over bridge. There are talks going on , but nothing has taken place. I want to make an official complaint regarding this, but am not sure whom to approach. Can somebody advice me?
Or make this known to the concerned department?

i travelled on 13 feb 2010 from shramjivi express from delhi to patna in AC II seat no 17, 18, 4. along with my mother who went to nuerosurgery and completely bed ridden . i demanded stratcher at ARA station to deboard the trainin thev morning around 9.30 am .intially station master assured me that they have this but at the mean time of deboarding the gave broken stretcher. and due to that i have to deboard her in bed sheet and made her lying on the floor. and around half kilometer we have to take her with that bedsheet to reach the station parking. please let me know the action taken against that negligence on the side of station master.

Sub: Mobile charge in 2nd class sleeping bogie.


I would like to bring this point to your notice that i have observed that only two mobile charging points are facilitate in 2nd class sleeping bogie. Does it mean that only 2 to 4 peoples carry cell phone out of 72 passengers ?

Looking to the present scenario and the mobile usage these mobile charging points are very less for 72 passengers traveling through 2nd class sleeping bogie.

Railway needs to provide 2 to 4 mobile charging points in each compartment of bogie.
I want to know why railway not allowed their authorized agent to book "i-ticket" through their counter only allowed "e-ticket" so many problem faces travellers when they have WL e-ticket and when they reached station their name not appear at chart. if allowed agent to book "i-ticket" in that case at least they can travel.
when my customer faces this type of problems i feel very bad and i hope railway minister solved this people problem as soon as possible.

Indian Railways — Miss managment of AC coaches

It was a pathetic state of affair yesterday in train no 2205 (Nizamuddin to Deharadun) NZM DDN AC special. There were no attendants to supply the beddings, which caused utter chaos.

This train starts from NZM at 23.55 pm. everyone getting into the train looks to spread the sheets any lie down. I also had my office to attent today so wanted to take rest. I had the ticked in 3AC, booked in tatkal quota (additional charges) but got extremely poor service.
I waited for the bedding to be supplied half an hour post the train started but no one appeared. Then somebody from the crowd went and brought it himself. After which it was a mad rush with people running up and down, shouting, scrambling, snatching. This went on till 2.00 am.
The train managment on board told, they cannot help much as there are no working hands and told people to lodge complain as they feel.
In all this chaos I could hardly manage any sleep or rest.
This is a sorry state of affair and want to lodge a strong complaint against the railway staff.

Dear Madam,

I was travelling in Chambal Express on 16/02/2010 from Sasaram to Howrah.My ticket was booked from Sasaram to Howrah but my boarding station was Gaya due to non availability of confirmed seat from Sasaram.Whem Mr.TTE has came for checking i have shown him the ticket but he was angry that i have boarded the train from Sasaram instead of Gaya.I have requested him to please allow me to travel but he was insisting for some money .finally i have paid him Rs.200/-for this.I was travelling in coach no.4.When i have asked for his identification because he was not wearing the Black Blazer with name he told me that do not try to be start nahi to andar kar dunga.
Saale sabhi govt. employee harami hote hain, I cant abuse more than it as I am a very civilized man...If we want India do progress, then we must ban all govt. sectors and encourage private sectors.

I was travel on 03.02.10 on Holiday express train no. 0233 Hanumangarh jun. to Jaipur Jun. regarding this my ticket no. 33327070 AND PNR NO. IS [protected] AND CHARGES FOR THIS 930/
ON Joureny day my birth converted 2nd ac to 3 rd ac on this matter i saw TT but he reply i dont no as like this apko jana hai tho jao varna mat jao jo karna hai krlo aur na hi muje refund dia gya jb maine refund ke lye bola tho apko railway station yaha se ticket lia tha vahi se milega.
Railway station Hanumangarh jane par unohone kaha hum kuch nai kar sakte muje yatra 2nd ac se 3rd ac me karwai gai par diffrence nai vapis kia gya plaease ap vapis karwae
