But LIC is not a Customer Centric Organization in today’s world, the way people believe in LIC is having false faith .If LIC would be a customer Centric Organization then it would had bother to take care of Customer by informing in mail or by giving a courtesy telephonic call. So I request you to return back my policy bond immediately as I had not received any loan from your good self or nor any loan amount cheque.

Sub Returning of Cheque





my self presented two cheques for rs.30000/- each of 40219&402918 of Indian bank mettur dam and payable at salem for the policy nos[protected]&[protected]and the same presented at ICICI bank Dharmapuri for clearance on 29.04.2010 but the cheque was returned on 12.5.2010 for the reason insufficient of funds when we enquired at icici bank they told I want to clarify whether LIC is running on any shortage of funds and why the cheque returned for non availability of fund and a sum of rs.276/-was recovered for the each cheque for return of cheque . hence kindly clarify why the cheque was returned by the bank unnecessarily . still date I have not received the returned cheque also . It makes me so much mental worry and I felt shame of returning of cheque by LIC . Hence I request that the cheque returned charges should be bear by the LIC only and I am expecting suitable action against the bank which returned the cheque otherwise I will forced to move to consumer court for getting justice. Please

My experience with L.I.C ( Life Insurance Corporation Of India) has been pathetic. It seems that the concerned insurance company does not even care about their customer base who like to utilize the modern technologies for getting prompt services. True , they have created a fancy websites , put on an IVR system but Customer Service , sorry to say , UTTER RUBBISH.

I am banging my head from pillars to posts to get info about an LIC Policy created 3 years back. I had failed to pay the premium and hence i was worried that the policy might lapse. I am presently in the city beautiful Chandigarh. I work with an MNC , my work schedule is hectic and can not afford to visit the LIC offices to get my query clarified.

On their website 90% of the contact numbers do not work. Few that do , says to me that my policy number is invalid , when the same policy number is being displayed on the website.

Come on LIC .... admit that you have failed to keep up with the pace of modern world and you still expect people to carry their load all the way to the "babus" and get their business done.

This is a shame for such an old company.

I have taken loan from LIC Housing finanace, I have done pre-closure my housing loan, LIC HFL charges 2 % for leavy charge, I have seen in leading new papers, RBI recomonts, do not charge for pre-closure of the loan, why these oraganization is not implementing this.

Dear Sir,
My wife and I have been holding active life policies with LIC for the last 19 years. Our policy numbers are:[protected] M.Sivathanu Pillai and[protected] Smt.Chellammal S.Pillai. Our policies are due for maturity on March 15, 2010.

First , I had maintained our policies in the Divisional office of Kormangala of LIC in Bangalore during our stay 3 years ago. Now I am in Jaipur for the last three years. Since that I have been frantically contacting the Koramangala branch requesting them to transfer my policies to Branch office Unit III , LIC, Jaipur. I have written to the office by speed post in this regard. Then in March, I contacted by telephone to the Area office of LIC, Bangalore and spoke in telephone no:[protected] to Mrs.SAISKALA about my case. She assured me that she will contact the Koramangala office to transfer our polcies. Nothing happened in this so far. Again I spoke to one Shriram of the same number. He also assured to get it transfered here. Nothing has happened till date!
I am afraid that the LIC office may have lost my policies. I am also afraid that finally the LIC will fail to settle my polices when they mature in MARCH 2011.
I seek your help and intervention in this regard.

Sir ,

I have paid my LIC premium to LIC Branch Swarajpuri, Gaya as per below mentioned details and already complain to LIC india ,Swarajpri road Br. Gaya and Patna Divison office but they are neither giving any reply nor correcting there data.

I applied for home loan from LIC Housing finance limited (file number 6166697 dated 16.03.2009 and file number 617256 dated 14.07.2009) in the year 2009. In which I had been approved housing loan of 25 Lakhs and 45 Lakhs respectively. It is worthwhile to mention that the loans are sanctioned after through investigation and verification of the individuals and properties. LIC Housing Finance Limited also took also more than three months to sanction the loan (undersigned applied for the loan in the month of Feb 2009).
I have been asked to carry following documents for loan to be disbursed:
For File Number 617256
1. Last three month pay slip
2. Proper Bank statement for last three month with name and A/C No.
3. All terms and condition of GP.
For file number 616697:
1. Disclaimer Affidavit of legal heirs of co applicant, all T/C of P floating, title valuation, verification etc.
Accordingly the undersigned had submitted all the documents along with the upfront payment vide chq, a) 0968693 transacted on 24.06.09 amount 6,618 and b) 0944673 transacted on 14.07.09 amount 11,030.
The loans were never disbursed to the undersigned and no communication regarding non sanctioning were mentioned to the undersigned.
The several requests ( letters enclosed, received by Mr. Anand Bihari Lal Area manager) to refund the amount were unaddressed. Undersigned made number of visits and all telephone calls ( not less than 100 ) remained unfruitful.
Subsequently I sent registered letter to Mr. Anand Bihari Lal Area manager and Mr. Nitin Jage, LIC HFCL Corporate Office in the month 0f Feb 2010 ( Acknowledgement is available ).
The loan was never disbursed and my upfront payment still not refunded.

My complaint in portal NO: 245071 :I paid premium at gajuwaka branch on[protected] for the said two policies. When I approached the bapatla branch for taking the loan it was noticed that the premium is not paid and the policy is in lapsed condition. Please see that why is happened.

Sir, You may send original receipt of payment at Gajuwaka to our Bapatla Branch through your representative along with your letter so that the FUP will be updated. I am not satisfied the response given by the authorities I paid the premium at their branch office then why should I submit the receipt at bapatla branch for the updation of records.

i had paid a premium of my policy - Rs 12000/- crossed cheque favouring LIC of India n the agent had commited fraud by transferring the amount in some one else's policy and alongwith the agent the accounts depatment of LIC of India had also cleared the very same cheque in not 1 but 2 different policies . The Branch Manger Mr. Fulfagar of Kalyan Branch - 934 is not at all aware about it and has asked us to bear the expenses of their agent committing a crime, where the agent has not only committed fraud on our cheque but has also done this very same thing for other number of policies.

My nephew Das PT had a LIC policy No.[protected] for Rs.50000/-, taken through LIC Agent Suryanarayanan code 02680799,on[protected]. Development Officer Dilip Code 0008377, at LIC Br. Kunnamkulam, Kerala State. My sister Leela P T and the nominee used to pay the qtrly premium of Rs.776/- through the same agent. He comes to their house, in the village Koottanadu, Palghat Dist, Kerala state and collects the premium amount. He gives the receipts as and when he likes, by telling my sister that he paid the money and forgot to bring the receipt, next time will bring.. He collected the premiums for 06/09, 09/09 and 12/09, but did not pay it to the LIC KUNNAMKULAM Branch, Kerala State. All the time as usual he bluffed my sister by telling receipt forgtten.
Finaly the policy was lapsed from 03/2009. My nephew died in the hospital suddenly due to accute stomache, just after one day of admission on[protected].. The agent came to their house after his death and told my sister, he has paid all the premiums, and now give a letter to the Br.Mannager, Kunnamkulam to pay her the paid up money of the above policy, and dictacted one draft letter for that, she being the nominee. At this stage only we the brothers came to know all these cheatings by the LIC agent mentioned above. We called him and discussed the entire game played by him and told him that we now want Our sister to get the policy amount of Rs.50000/ plus acrued bonus. The policy was lapsed because of non-payment of premium by the agent after collecting money from our sister.. He cooly agreed to pay us the policy amount less surrender value due. The due was obtained on IVRS from LIC,by considering that the policy is alive. Surrender value. rs. 18804/- Amount due had the policy been alive Rs.57779/-. The agent agreed to pay Rs.38975/ and issued a cheque for the same amount datyed[protected], and told us to deposit the cheque only after informing him to ensure sufficient fund in the account. In between he paid Rs.10000/- by cash also,so balance only to be paid to us. Since then he is dodging us and not paying the balance amount or depositing the amount in the bank so that we can get the cheque cleared.
This is how the LIC agent cheat the village women with less knowledge of LIC and its benifits. Can the LIC now do anything to get my sister the balance of money from the LIC Agent. Can LIC take any action against the Agent for cheating the customer and bringing bad name to LIC Of India as a whole. This help will be to avoid our taking Criminal case against the agent for cheating and mistrust, if the cheque deposited and bounces.
Will LIC of India advise on this or can they take acton against such agents by stopping their monthly commission on policies and divert those money to my sister till the entire amount is recovered from the LIC Agent.

LIC HOUSING FINANCE,cheated me .when i taken a loan from lic housing the intrest rate in 2009 aug was 8.75%....first i did not receive any update on intrest charges and emi.
after 3 months they called me and said that you will have to pay more 800 rs for this month emi....after getting it understand i got to know that they actually increase the roi and now the rate of intrest is 9.75%

i got shocked and when i asked them that you people told me to fix the ROI for 3 years ...then they said that even it would not possible for my manager then how come for you....seriously i got shocked by all this statement and told them to low my ROI if possible but nothing happen yet.....though i want to pay my Actual emi and i am telling them to get start the actual emi but they are only deducting the intrest...dont have any official mail id on which i can mail and get the update...the loan collection department is not picking up the phone ...my loan account number is[protected] and i taken this loan from lucknow office.i want to change my loan to some other bank...please take this letter as complaint and help me to get out from this hell of loan office...no customer service no contact number.
