Dear Sir,

Myself Suresh Harrai Desai and having LIC Policy no.[protected] and I was regularly paying Premium for the same till 2008. I met with and Accident on[protected] had Spinal Cord Injury and now I am Paraplegia Patient ( Handicapped ) won't be able to stand on legs ( 100% disabilty ).I have applied for the Disability benefit to LIC of India , Pratapnagar Branch, Vadodara in the Month of MMar-2009 but they have rejected my claim. Kindly look into the matter and help me out.

As per LIC record my Policy is INFORCE.

I HAVE PURCHASED THE ABOVE THREE POLICIES FROM LIC OF INDIA - WAIDHAN BRANCH .

3-4 YEARS BACK I GOT TRANSFERRED FROM VINDHYANAGAR (NTPC LTD ) TO SIPAT (NTPC LTD ) WHICH IS NEAR BILASPUR OF CHHATISGARH.

I REQUESTED WAIDHAN LIC BRANCH TO TRANSFER ALL THE THREE POLICIES TO BILASPUR - CAG BRANCH (code-3065)

As my monthly premiums are being accepted by LIC -Bilaspur,I thought that the things were in order till date.

But to my surprise, few days back i am told that my original dockets were not received by Bilaspur branch although my monthly premiums are / have accepted regularly without any default.

As I have to accumilate the funds for younger daughter's arriage planned to perform during August

I have surrendered all the above mentioned three policies (in Originals)to the Bilaspur LIC -CAG branch for encashment during 1st week of June 2010 through an agent Sri. Naresh Agarwal. On enquiry I am told after 20 days later that all the three policies original dockets were not received, therefore it is not possible for processing for releasing for payment.

A financial implication of arround Rs.3.5 lakhs

Then I had a telephonic discussion with the Branch Manager - Bilaspur Sri.Satnami who confirmed the same message of the agent Mr.Naresh Agarwal.

On tention I started contacting the Branch Manager of Waidhan LIC Sri. Chouhan regarding the policies status who confirmed that the policies are dispatched / transferred to EDMS Office (Shahdol) during March -April 2006 in original and the soft copy data has been transferred to CAG branch of Bilaspur.

As the original docket transfer / custody is the internal work of LIC INDIA, please see that I am paid all my claims at the earliest possible without further delay and help me.

Necessary immediate instructions may be issued to the cncerned at the earliest possible under intimation to the undersigned.

The maturity Values of the three policies may be credited to my bank account directly if possible along with intimation.

The name on the certifcate is printed incorrect. Hence, required the name to be changed. The name is typed as " PURAV CHANDRA KALUNDIA" on the certificate. The actual spelling is "PURAN CHANDRA KALUNDIA".

Non Payment Pocices no.[protected] DOC 28.12.99 Matured on 28.12.2009

My husband had some policies and he died 6/5/2009. All claims paid by LIC one one policy SA 12 lak not paid till date. With interval of two three month LIC post a pre-printed letter asking for pathological and treatment particulars. 4 times LIC send this letter and everytime we send all particulars by post along with forwarding letter. In that letter and in other form of LIC I clearly mentioned that end of DEcember my husband first consulted with Siliguri Doctor (whoes prescription also enclosed with the letter)and as per the doctor advice we gone to Bangalore for treatment of cancer. There after 5 month my husband died due to cancer. Before that we did not consulted any doctor. We submitted all paper of Bangalore and siliguri. In last letter from LIC finally accept that LIC got all paper. Now LIc asking treatment particulars of Hypertension and diabetes. We never had any treatment for hypertension and diabetes so treatment particulars can not be submitted. LIC just delaying and diverting the justified claim...sometimes through letter correspondence some time arising new question like hypertension diabetes like question after 9 month of receiving papers. Even the question is totally unrelated with the death. BP and diabetes has no link with cancer.We were not aware of cancer when took the policy in sepmtember paying yearly almost 90000/- premium. In December Siliguri doctor's prescription clearly given note for suspect of cancer and treatment to be done outside.Here only we came to know. So no fraud happened in our part. In that time not only my husband all family member took a new policy as money back from previous policy came and in total almost 4 lak premium paid for new policy. This only to say that there was no fraudulent attitude. However still date LIC not came for investigation however as per IRDA norms with 6 months investigation report must be submitted.So I think in this case there is gross negligency, deficiency of service, unnecessary harassment, unnecessary delay took place.

the entire claim amount will be more than 12 lak along with bonous plus interest for last 9 month @ 10% and 20,000/- for mental agony. I got 18 lak claim amount earlier and not got any pain from LIC.But in this latest case investigation not done so claim is pending and to kill the time with some interval LIc sending same letters and after 9 month asking same type but new question ( BP &diabetes)just to keep the case alive and pending. This technical harassment is brain child of technical persons.So for their fault extra money (int+20000) THEY SHOULD PAY FROM THEIR OWN POCKET and not LIC.In other words if LIC to pay interest and 20000/- for mental agony it means ultimately it will be paid by the good policy holder (including me) by nailing down the bonus rate for payment of extra ( int+agony) money in death claim.

I have a LIC Profit plus Ulip for which I use to pay 25000/- per annum. I have paid three premiums till now(2yrs and 3months completed). I asked my agent if I can withdraw my money. He said yes and surrendered my policy. Now Agent is saying that I will get surrender value after completion of 3 Yrs. Now the thing is that neither I am getting my Policy Benefits nor my money as i need it urgently. I have complained many times but they are replying just saying that I will get my money after 3 Years. I dont know what to do in this case. Please help.

This is with regards to LIC Policy of my father - Rameshlal Jasotani.

He is a retd. Govt gazzeted officer and He is 63years old now.
We are based in Mumbai now and he is not in a position to visit to Patna Branch from Mumbai for followup.
I request you to please help us getting this amount, considering he was a govt employee and also taking in account his age.

On 29/05/2010 an policy holder of your divisional branch office Mr. Arvind Mehto (policy no.[protected] has given my account no. for debit of his insurance premium of Rs. 1578/- and the same is wrongly being debited to my Indian Bank account. Then I visit LIC Branch manager Mr. P. N. Jha at Sarita Vihar he told me that He could not help me for this matter. And his staff also.

So, please stop it and return my amount immediately.

This is regarding my request to LIC which i have made on 22 June which is till date not resolved at all and due to this my policy is going to laps anytime

I have a policy from LIC with policy no.[protected], kindly provide internet portal user ID and password to access my policy over internet so that i can pay my dues by netbanking.
As I tried to access it by using above mentioned policy no. I got message that policy is already registered for the same.

My son Late Sh.Rajeev Soni had two life insurance policies with LIC of India. Both his policies were assigned to the bank (Bank of India, Janak Puri, New Delhi) against his loan taken for his own business . The details of the policies are given below for your reference.

Rajeev Soni passed away on 3rd May’2004. LIC of India had issued the basic sum assuered and accured bonus at the time of claim and that amount had been issued to Bank of India, Janak Puri because both the policies were assigned to the bank. After these policies and other bank deposits (My Fixed deposits and other guarantees), bank liabilities had been cleared and as of now there is no liability towards bank.

After that we have been pursuising for DAB (Double accident benefit) with LIC of India for both the policies but till date we have not been able to get through. Late Sh.Rajeev Soni’s wife “Sharmeela Soni” had filed a petition to LIC of India to claim the DAB amount but since she has got married and settled down in Mumbai, she had withdrawn that petition. (copy of withdrawl can be produced if required) The criminal case has also been completed and all three accused have been life sentenced.

Since my wife has passed away in Mar’2009, being Father of Late Sh.Rajeev Soni and the only legal heir, I request you to please help me getting the Double Accident Benefit i.e. Rs. 7 Lac, as soon as possible.

Immidiate reply shall be highly appriciated.

Again we gave a complain to Sr Branch Manager of Jamshedpur on 22/06/2010
Till now we are not in receipt of any answer from above centers

I have invetment Rs.25,000/- on[protected] in LIC Market plus, My police number ;[protected], then i have invest for 3 year , i dont have any details for my police status, so please kindly information check in the details & market position sent the mail id : [protected]@live.com.

I have got the new policy from LIC in Feb 2010. I want to operate the policies online. As I requested my agent to submit the list of policies (printout taken from LIC website) and get the policy validated from the service branch, he said no one in that perticular branch knows how to validate the policies for online registration. Funny!!! I cant expect this type of service or answer in the hightech city like bangalore.
Can anyone educate the LIC people in bangalore for using the internet and about the online services?

I have started one LIC Policy which was in a monthly basis scheme so I have gone for ECS installments but for only 3 months ECS was going on and from January 2010 the ECS stopped, now they have charged fine for that which I had given then again the agent told me to pay fine for the next four months as ECS is not working so sir plz tell me that it is not my fault that the transfer is not working properly so why I should pay the fine and after every 3-4 months I have to pay the fine that is 165 Rs. per month so for 25 years how much it will be..plz help me.

I took the loan from LICHFL and made all the EMI as of 10th May 2010. They asked me to wait for a Month and call by 17th June 2010 to get the original property document. When I contacted them (Madurai Office) on 17th June 2010, they asked me to contact on 19th June 2010.

The issue is still they are dragging the days every time. Please let me know who is the right person to contact for getting the documents.
