The landline is down for last more than two months and the broadband connection too with it.

Several complaints and meeting to JTO Shri yadav at Uttam Nagar exchange produced no results.
Also, any respite with regular bills which I am receiving.

    My Telephone number is[protected]. This number is not working since 6 April 2013. Even after many complains, no one is responding.
    They even change the complain status as solved on server. But the reality is not that. After personally visit in the MTNL office no one responding.

    I received a message saying the complaint has been attended. I went to the Sahyog MTNL office, Thane and met Junior Engg R.P. Singh. He said phone will be working in next 1-2 days, but it has been 3 weeks after that still phone is not working.

    Now, when I call at MTNL office, they pick up but as soon as I give them my number they disconnect the call or talk very rudely and asrrogantly.

    I want to take an action against these people.

    MTNL — Phone not working since last 2 days

    My phone no. 24319833 is not working since yesterday morning. We can hear the ringing one of incoming call but the same doesn't get conmnnected. There is no dial tone also but a humming sound. I registered the complaint yesterday but no response.

    MTNL — SMS from REALITY

    Dear Sir,

    Despite Do not call Registry, I am getting unwanted calls/messages. One of such sms has been received from "Reality" from [protected]. I got this sms on 18th Sept, 09.

    Though I am not aware of the procedure for this complaint, I could get this way through internet.
    Request to compensate me for the same and to discourage such marketers.

    mtnl broadband not working .given complaints many times to mtnl. but no ressponceat all.please help me.

    I have been facing a lot of issue with this MTNL connection . My broad band is not working since last one month. It gets disconnected after every 2 minutes. I have reported this complaint several times but no resolution provided . My latest complaint number for this is 78423 (4th- Aug- 2010) . I land line phone[protected] is also not working since last week . I have also registered this complaint (1272 on 4th-Aug-2010) and it is also not resolved till now.

    Kindly take the appropriate action.

    mtnl landline and broadband — misled by the employee

    respected sir,
    i got a land line phone connection with broadband service of MTNL.
    now the problems are
    1. i chose a plan of 599 monthly rental in which they promised me to provide speed about 512kbps(according to the scheme) but they are providing me the speed about 256kbps and chrging the money for 512kbps speed.
    2. its about lanline connection,i went to them for landline connection,i asked them what is the requirement for the landline connection,they said u have to submit 500 advanced thats it
    and according to your plan your monthly bill is about 599+10.3% (service tax)+75(monthly modem charge)
    which is about 750 i agreed with this,But now thay sent me a bill of about 2600 and said this is the installation charge for phone and modem.
    i was misled by them thay didnt inform me about that
    please take a suitable action on them and give me some solution

    mtnl landline and broadband — Landline and Broadband not working

    Hi,

    My telephone number is 22451935 and i am facing issue with my landline as well as broadband connection.My landline is dead now.Earlier when it was working there is lot of disturbance in the line and due to that my broadband link light keep on coming on/off and due to that i am unable to surf the net.

    I log many complaints till now even to DGM and Area Manager (Luxmi Nagar) office but no luck.Area manager never picks the phone (even landline and mobile).

    Please help me to get the issue rectified on top priority basis

      sir my mtnl telephone number is 25060172. I have submitted the amout for a new connection on 28th of march 2013 and on 12th april the lineman came for setting up the connection.
      After setting they left but still internet was not working so i complaint again and on tuesday that is 16 th of april they came and changed the modem.
      but now i have got bill of 30th march to 15th april that is of 403 rupees.

      and i have got a second bill from 16 april to 30 april of 379 rupees .
      my plan was of 499 unlimited but company has cheated me and now it seems like bill of around 800 per month.

      I want my money back from the company

        Hello,

        This is in regards to a new connection application that I have put forward and still awaiting a connection to be installed.

        I had applied for a new MTNL Landline Connection on 21st April 2013 by registering my Mobile Number through MTNL website. Pertaining to that, an agent from MTNL Delhi called me up in regards to the same and took my personal details for initiating the booking. After a while I received a confirmation that my MTNL Landline booking has been done and gave me a Booking/Application Number : 53269462. He further told me that an MTNL Sale Distributor from my locality would be visiting my house to collect the form and the documents.

        Simultaneously an agent (Mr. Amit Kumar) from MTNL Delhi Sale Distributor (M/s Om Enterprises- Code:05506) visited my house on 22nd April 2013 and got filled the connection form with my signatures, photograph and the installation fee of Rs. 500.

        MTNL Sale Distributor Agent Mr. Amit Kumar assured me that connection will be made available within 7-10 working days. As instructed, I kept waiting for the Land line to be installed. After exceeding the time frame, I contacted MTNL Delhi Helpline and an agent picked the phone and said that she was not able to see any application by the Application Number which I provided. Instead she was asking me to provide her with the contact number for the agent who has actually collected the Application Form.

        Subsequently I tried contacting the concerned MTNL Sale Distributor Mr. Deepak Kumar Gupta ( (M/s Om Enterprises- Code:05506) several times regarding the connection but in vain. No one is available to answer the calls out there.

        No one is actually taking the responsibility of the MTNL Landline Connection. I am also not aware if I am actually getting a MTNL Landline Connection or had it been a fraudulent activity to trickily take the application fees away. I am not sure what is going on with the MTNL Delhi Office. I desperately need someone to help me out and take some action towards this so that I could get the MTNL Landline connection successfully installed at my house within a few days.

        I hope to meet your kind attention at the earliest. Please make a note of the Application Details as provided below.

        With reference to my previous complaint on a new connection application that I have put forward on Friday, May 10th 2013 in the evening, I got a surprise call from the MTNL Department which was to confirm my Residential Address (where the MTNL Delhi Land-line was to be connected). I readily confirmed my address and the caller confirmed that there was actually some confusion regarding the address which was eventually delaying the connection.

        The next day, Saturday May 11th 2013 a lineman from MTNL Delhi came in and he too was trying to confirm the address where the MTNL Delhi Land-line was to be connected. He said that there was some misprinting in the Application Form that we have submitted and so they were not able to locate my house in my locality and had to cancel my application form. We confirmed that we have made no mistakes in writing the correct address on the application form and additionally we have furnished several supporting documents along with the Application Form.

        After some time, the MTNL Delhi Lineman agreed to the fact that there must be a negligence shown by the Data Entry Staff at MTNL Delhi Office who might have made the mistake probably. Along with the fact he also was trying to convince me saying that there was a significant mistake made in entering my Contact Number as well which eventually resulted in cancellation of my Application Form previously. But the fact was that I just received a call the previous day on my Cell Phone which was also made by the MTNL Department itself.

        The MTNL Lineman again re-confirmed my Cell Phone number and address and left for the day saying that the Connection Equipments had not yet arrived and once it arrived he will come and connect the Landline Phone. He promised to come the next day and asked me to wait. They will himself come and connect the phone at my house. When he was leaving for te day, We even tried to take his contact number for future reference but he trickily refused to give it. After that I haven't heard from them as yet and not sure how long is it going to take again. It has been too long for MTNL Delhi !!!

        O hereby appeal for an urgent help out here. I desperately need someone to take some action towards this so that I could get the MTNL Landline connection successfully installed at my house within a few days.

          I complaint about 5-6 time on phone, and tried to get in touch with the line man of MTNL of my area, his name is Surender. On my first try with Surender, he refused to take any action and did not help me. when I called mtnl customer service, my call did not connect due to the huge call flow and I was stuck on waiting for more than 20 minutes every day every call. Not even me, nobody in our area is able to get to the internet due to the worst service of MTNL, Delhi. They are lazy, do not do any work without the bribe and the weather should suit their mood. Shame on you guys, it's been too much. Please take any action. Not for me, becuase I'm going to cut down my connectio and will move forward to Airtel or Tata or Tikona, else i am ready to use my dongal. i had to recharge my dongal with 1000/- due to the net connection as my business was on stake. i had to recharge my phone for net connection. If they do not do anything regarding this, then who the hell will pay for the rental, that i did not use in reallity. because there was no signal from mtnl. No Thanks,Tanu Verma[protected]

            Hi,

            I have using MTNL Broadband for the last 5 years. Despite making several complaints to MTNL my broadband never works fine for me.

            After every 5 minutes the internet stops working and then starts suddenly. I have changed my router as well but still in vain.

            Somebody from MTNL please help or I will have to start looking for other options.

              This is in regard to my MTNL Broadband Connection.
              My Telephone No is 22505665

              Inspite of changing to unlimited Broadband connection [ Plan: TriB_UL_data_599_combo ] and assuring that total MTNL bill will not go up by Rs 787/- a month - I was charged Rs 1085 for the month March 2013. I tried to called up their 24 hr helpline[protected] but there was no response. Then I lodged complaint on their IVRS [ automated consumer complaint link ].

              MTNL is cheating in Broadband billing being done to its consumers. I totally fedup with the service they are providing.

              I would like people to know about this and know how MTNL is doing fraud and cheating its users.

              Can someone do something about this. HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP! HELP!

              i hv recently joined internet service with mtnl before 5 days back ...now the problem is its disconnet frequently
              i have broadband connection 149 plan. when i started internet, frequently disconnect. pls. check...made complaints several times but all in vain kindly manage them...

              MTNL — bogus bill

              in the march month bill they charged me rs 472/- .i m asking the company to furnish roaming since last two months but all efforts in vain. i paid the bill already beacuse of disconnection.

              MTNL Broadband — Mislead and fraud

              My father Dr.Ashwin Joshi had booked for broadband internet to the MTNL broadband service and we had taken a plan of 699 rupees and unlimited usage. After 2 years, that is in 2004, one of the executive from the MTNL broadband service came to our house and said that the plan that we had taken was cancelled. Thus they gave us an option of a plan where we have to pay 399 Rupees per month and the usage would be unlimited and we'll not have to pay any additional charges for their instrument usage and internet usage. They did not show us any paper having the terms and conditions and they misguided us about the plan and from since next month, in the bills, it was stated the plan was limited and they also charged the router rent per month. We tried telling the executives about this but they never listened. Once the usage of the internet went a bit high... And because of that, in the month of March, 2009, the bill came for 20,000 Rupees and for the month of April,2009, the bill came for 8,000 Rupees approximately... We tried to consult with the MTNL broadband executives about the issue but they forced us to pay the bill...

              This is the case of clear FRAUD. one- they did not inform us about the terms and conditions properly. Two- they lied about the amount that they were going to charge, Three- they never considered our complaints and never guided us upon anything on the issues that we were facing. Four- the executives were too rude to us in giving us any information.

              We being consumers, have full right to obtain the basic and necessary information for the service that we are paying. As being consumer, this is our right to ask questions and they'll have to answer us as we pay them. If we do not get that and if we are being cheated and looted for money, it's not fair.

              We have faith in the government and Indian Consumer Forum service and we expect you to take this complaint seriously and take the strict measures on this company..
              I found that though i have an unlimited plan and i am supposed to be getting a speed of 384 kbps i recieve only a speed of 40 kbps [at its peak point].
              I tried calling the helpline, but he told me that we are supposed to get a good speed in the begining and then it is supposed to drop down to 1/8th if the deserved speed.
              Strangely, i wasnt informed of this before i bought my package.

              MTNL and Myway — Cheating

              Myway approached me through MTNL for IPTV connection and took cheque for Rs. 2000.00 as security deposit on 29.09.2009. Since then more than 50 complaints have been lodged regarding picture freezing, remote not working, no sound, USB port dysfunctional, non streaming of several promised channels. It appears that MTNL has colluded with Myway company for cheating customers since both these companies are utterly incompetent in providing IPTV services with any reliability whatsoever. Since, monthly payments are being taken by MTNL - a PSU - for providing IPTV services, matter through your forum be escalated for taking to task government/quasi government officers involved in this racket. In the meantime, all customers be given option to lodge their complaints via email to an independent nodal officer who has to acknowledge receipt of complaints.

              MTNL — complaint of bil

              Sir I am having mtnl post paid dolphin connection for more than five years I am having one india roaming plan in which mtnl offerd me 500 free min incoming on roaming but in my previous month bill mtnl charged the incoming calls on roaming. Sir my mob no is [protected] kindly look in the matter .

                Subject: Regarding failure of internet connection.

                I Raza Ahmed s/o Habibur Rehman, Resident of C-228/14 A, street no 10, chauhan bangar, New seelampur, Delhi- 110053. Internet connection is located on this address. Internet usually remain faulty. This time the internet connection got failed from approximately 15 days. We did complaints through telephone. But no response we get till now. And we talked on this numbers 1509, 1504, [protected]. But they did not listen our complaints in a proper manner. And they cut the phone in between. And they did same thing even i do call them repeatedly. Kindly do repair our Internet as early as possible. Otherwise we will stop using the internet services of MTNL. And department would be responsible for it. Kindly do this as earliest as possible. I would be very thank full to you.

                Internet Connection — Connection Failure

                The connection is failed after making the payment. The collection boy came home and collected the payment, there starts the problem. Even after having a relative working for the Company We could not move the anatomy of people in Airtel. Good show. If the intention is to have money without providing the services better advertise the same.

                Is there any hope for getting the connection ready. Respond if any mail box receives this complaint.

                Personal — Net Connection Failure

                I have got MTNL Triband connection installed on my residence Phone no. 23842720 last week and am shocked to see their SERVER failures.

                The Broadband connection does not work for more than 10-15 minutes at a stretch and failes to connect.
                When, I complained at 1504, they just booked the complaint and the Line man-who came to attend the next day-shockingly informed that-` MTNL to Aap janatey hi hain- Server to break down mein rahte hain-Hum kya kar sakte hain' . In fact, I went for MTNL triband after facing hopeless response from Airtel Broad band-whose broad band connection is good but they are hopelessly bad in adminitrative control. They had failed to deliver the bills for the last 6 months inspite of my follow up and that is why, I thought of replacing Airtel with MTNL. Now, the MTNL line man himself suggeted that, I should retain Airtel connection if I want un-iteruppted service on net.

                MTNL hai to bilkul sahi nahin hai- Will you do some thing to mean what you claim- MTNL hai to sahi hai??

                        I'm Hemang Halvadia using a land line no 28658656. the primary use of the connection is for the Internet.

                        On 28th March i switched to 4mbps broadband plan from existing 2mbps plan. And the nightmare starts.
                        since the time i switched my plan instead of getting close to 4 mbps speed , i started getting .05 mbps.
                        I did complain many times over and over again. but i was told that there is no problem. i'm myself from a tech background and knowledgeable enough to figure out that the problem doesn't exist from my end.
                        I even received SMS saying that the complaint has been attended. even without anybody addressing the complaint.
                        how can this be allowed??? Even spoke to many departments including divisional manager etc.. but no one seems to be interested or capable in solving the problem.

                        i have never experience such an unprofessional behavior from any individual from any field in my whole life.
                        I mean i have no words to describe my agony.

                        I have MTNL connection since over a year (Telephone no.[protected], but I was never connected properly. It gets disconnect within a few minutes or seconds after connecting to server.
                        I had registered so many complaints on 1504 and other mobile no. (Mr. G.P. Singh [protected] and Mr. S.K. Shukla 20594233 and so on) but I never got a solution. After registering so many complaints on 1504 no body visits to my place and even no one calls at my phone no. and complaint get closed.
                        I am paying monthly bills of Rs. 800.00 to 900.00 for a worse connection. In short I am fedup with this service.

                        internet connection slow and keeps on disconnecting
                        I have connection with 256kbps unlimited plan and the speed for first few months was around 150kbps and now it doesnot cross more than 25 kbps and also the connection keeps on disconnecting. The service is all time worse.
                        It seems that MTNL has given good speed for few months to attract the users and then they are not listenning to complaints.My speed has been reduced from 200kb/s to 20 kb/s since 1st December 2008. I have called 1504 dozen times but the call next day and say your problem will get corrected in next 24 hours, but only god knows when those 24 hour will come. Besides that i have done e-mails and talked to call centre guys they only say "What we can do, we only do the e-mails for problem".Someone should report this in consumer court.

                        Feb up of registering complaints at MTNL call centre since past 2-3 months, i have to approach this site. Almost every time when internet was needed the most, there was a connectivity problem. I approached number of times MTNL call centre but the support which i got was not sufficient enough to cater to my problem . They replaced my modem/router initialy but my problem persisted.
                        Light at the link button of the router keeps on blinking. When asked the cause of this occurence they told it to be the problem of line, which is still unsolved.

                          im writing this email after not getting service of broadband of mtnl from last 45 days,
                          i have complaint to mtnl, every alternate days, in dis period.. no action had been taken
                          from.. den i personaly meet mtnl officers regarding this problem.. they send there executive to solve
                          but that person told me... its a problem of wifi router and currently instrument is out of stock,
                          after listening to that person i have purchase my own router in 2500.
                          then also no service.. and no response from mtnl.. im just paying bill of mtnl from last 2 months with out

                          I have not been receiving the the wifi connection on any of my wifi device and on calling the customer service at 1504 I was given the complaint no. as 7441 . 5 days later I called again early morning the lady at the other end sounded to be customer centric. She told me to reset ip address which I did so. However she kept my call on hold and I could hear all the back gound sound of tea sharing and days planning but nobody seemed to be attending customer. I called back again, this time I told the a diff lady about the conduct of previous representative, she said " Aisa ho hi nahi sakta, subah subah hum yahan tmepass karne ko nahi baithe hai." she also added that "aap ko jis ko bolna hai boldo" I was taken abck by such a rude behaviour.

                            my number is[protected]. My broadband and telephone are not working for the past 10 days. Telephone not working is a regular phenomenon, as the connection anyway sucks. so much disturbance, i rather not talk. SO i have given up on that a long back. The line man are so inefficient, that it is an insult to inefficiency. Anyway, it seems there is a cable breakdown so the lines are dead. But 10 days?????seriously?? what the hell am i supposed to do without internet for 10 days???? does MTNL have a plan B?? hell no, their plan A is messed up, how the hell would they have a plan B????I have complained several times, the only answer i get is HO jayega, HO jayega,...when...even god does not know...so is there anyway this can be sorted out???here is the complaint docket number- 8960

                            MTNL INTERNET — INTERNET NOT WORKING

                            I am old customer of MTNL Mumbai since 1995. taken Internet connection on my landline no 27541595 about 3 years back. Internet is not connecting most of the time, it is hardly working 6-7 days in a month. MTNL is just selling the product, not giving after sale service, Only propmpt service which i find is sending the bills on time. need solution

                            I agree with the Amarjit Singh Arora I have just taken a new MTNL internet connection after having used You Telecom for many years but from the day it has been installed it does not work, several complaints and they call back to say your complaint is resolved MTNL is the worst service provider worse than You Telecom..


                            MTNL is just taking its subscribers for a ride with bad after sales service bad infrastructure, and imagine instead of a technician it is the linesman who will solve your problem.

                              about 20 days i have no internet connection 16/03/2013 to 03/04/2013 .why i pay two months bill to mtnl march and april my internet connection under gm rohini exchange.i already submitted my complaint to all official and including cmd of mtnl..but no reply from any officials .i want to know what accountability and responsibility of officials of mtnl.delhi.

                                  I am paying a premium to MTNL for the internet. I have a 2Mbps line and according to fair usage policy, i should get 1/8th download speed. that brings it to around 200Kbps.

                                  But for the last 2 months, there hasnt been consistent service from MTNL. if i dial 1500 or 1504, 7/10 times the person on the other side would speak so low that I have to disconnect or ask them to speak loudly. the remaining 3/10 they arent aware why I should be getting inconsistent service. 1504 is tech support and if they have no idea then its a shame.

                                  A significant number of times they have just that some work is going on. When it will be done or why is affecting me, no ideas about that.

                                  One incident the lady even told me to write a complaint letter and submit in the office to the head. It is totally impractical since the operating times start and end within any normal office times. Lunch times mostly they arent available.

                                  Height of shamelessness is when we angrily tell them that we would switch to much professional services like reliance or vodafone, they asked me to go ahead.

                                  I dont know what to do about it.

                                    but they not give me more then 30 kbps and it's not a fix , many times speed is almost 1 kbps only , i complain to mtnl office(were server) but in all they not give me proper reply , they only tell me in unlimited they not give speed and also many customer had problem like that ,when i asked about speed on that plan ans is 320 kbps .but when i say download speed is only 1 kbps to 25 kbps,they just argue.but not tell exact speed.
                                    I am using broadband of MTNL but they are giving most useless and lousy service, and the download is totally slow and unbearable. even they send heavy bill with no details and if you complain they say first pay bill and once you pay bill they do not reply to your complaint and send another bill again of heavy amount and if you complain of both bills they say first pay the last bill and then they again send big bill without usage. Please be careful of such bills and all must raise voice or else the bills will come inflated and you have to go on making payment. Now I am left with no option to stop their services for ever. But they say we will not stop your services and you need to come here and give us in writing for it etc, whereas to start the service or change the plan etc they accept the request on phone and for stopping they say will not stop. Somebody please help us from such inflated bills

                                      I have an MTNL broadband connection (consumer # [protected]) at my house. The boradband connection has not been working for the past many months, I have logged in numerous complaints. But, to no avail.

                                      I had chosen MTNL over Airtel in the hope of getting better and genuine services. I have been paying Rs 757 every month for all these months, but without any services.

                                      For the past ten days, there is no dial tone either. I have logged-in separate complaints for 'no dial tone' as well. But, even that has not been restored till now.

                                      I am completely fed-up now, and seek your help.

                                      Is this the treatment I deserve despite being a good customer of MTNL?

                                      Will any one at MTNL pay heed to a hapless customer?

                                        I was alotted static IP on my request at my mtnl phone no[protected] almost three month back. I contacted repeatedly at 1504 to to configure static IP but in vain. I tried to rang area manager and GM at there official and mobile no. [protected], [protected], [protected] respectively but no one oblised to pickup the phone. Even grievance cell no 22083333 was of no use.
                                        I hereby request you to kindly look in to the matter & resolve the issue at the earliest. Failing to which I have to take legal action in this regard.

                                        We have applied for Static I.P. about one month back. But sorry to inform that till date our static I.P has not been provided by the concerned agent. The name of the agent Mr, Sanjay and His mobile No: is [protected], he is located at Hyderabad. due to the same our transaction for the past one month have been stopped. we are very much fed up with the services provided by your various web sotres. We are regularly in touch with the agent. but since 10days there is no response and he switched off his mobile. we are very much in trouble.
