This is regarding MTNL's Bill dated 13.3.2013 for Telephone No.[protected]CA No.[protected]). On 14.3.2013 I paid the bill online through my HDFC Bank Credit Card. Upon inquiry from HDFC I have been told that MTNL has claimed Rs.1059.24 from HDFC on 15.3.2013 vide Ref. No.077387. But MTNL is still showing this bill as UNPAID. I called MTNL on general number. They gave me a number of the area manager 25390955. This number keeps ringing and nobody picks it up. Please look into the matter and credit the payment to my account.

    I tried to pay landline telephone bill of telephone number 28400009 by credit card. i received the message about debiting sum of Rs. 2753/- but thereafter billing transaction showed "sorry unable to process the transaction.Please contact us at Contact [protected]@billdesk.com. for any queries." The question is whether my biller has received the amount and whether said amount is credited to my account against the bill?

      My Landline is down from 8 MAR 2013 i am logging complaints daily...but nobody is hearing....area manager not responding...grevience cell only says it will be resolved in tomorrow...form last 4 days...dont know they are dong job or passing time. Loged complaints gets automatically resolved in 1 day on 198 automated service.

      Also their mailboxes are full so no use of sending mails.

      I will not pay for the billing till the phone is down.

      MTNL — Tiband Complaint

      This is in regard against the broadband which is not working properly. my telephone no. is 28063497, i am also the user of triband for last 8 months, in between in this period i have lots of complaints against this connection, the people working under this are irrresponsible, inspite making so much complaints on the phone, they do not bother to look after that, is it the way to treat to the consumer.

      I request to go through this complaint and solve my problem as soon as possible.

      broadband mtnl — No Hearing Of Complaint

      We have done many complaints for the bad service of broadband provided by MTNL but we only get complaint number no services so what to do to get proper service from them. we survive from this problem for last 15 days. so kindly give any suggestion for this to get out of this we daily face loss on trading due to there bad services.

      MTNL — No resolution even after multiple complaints

      its been around 24Hrs that i sent you my complaint in this email but i have still not received any resolution, lets not talk about the resolution being a customer i expect a reply from the organisation.

        Hi,

        I have Trump connection (Number: [protected]) & on 8th March 2013 I got message about deduction of Rs 99 for some Hungama service.
        Eventhough I have not sent any request for Hungama service activation then also MTNL deduct money from my account.
        Also i have logged complaint through customer care but there is no such action against my complaint from friday i.e. from 8th March i am continously calling to customer care of MTNL but they are not responding well just each time they are giving reason like Technical team will call me back.

        But i don't want any technical team call .....i just want my deduction (Rs 99) back which are wrongly deducted....
        Hopefully there will be action against my complaint....

          MTNL Broadband — Since two month broadband is not working

          I m having a broadband service of MTNL on Telephone no. [protected], from last 45 days i m complaining about the problem from SDO to GM level, still problem is same as it was on the first day of complaint. The connection terminate in every 2 to 3 minute.

          I am using MTNL Broadband service since last one year. My telephone No. is 22785107.

          Since last two month my Broadband connection is not working. I made so many complaint against my connection on MTNL customer care service No. 1504. They give me so many complaint Numbers. But no action they took against my complain. And My connection still dead.

          I am a freelancer. I need broadband connection which is useful for me in my work. Because all of work is related to Internet. Due to MTNL service I lost about 1 Lakh Rupees in my work.

          Still the connection is not working but the bill of MTNL come on date with the broadband charges. And I have to pay against the bills.

          Sir please help me!!

            MTNL — Poor service

            Connection gets disonnected evrey few minutes. Before I could start my work it got disconnected.

            MTNL Broadband — poor services

            I had applied for Internet connection on my tel no 23559360 with consumer no [protected] in April 2008 and had paid for all the charges but till date it is not working satisfactirily for stretches of months it donot work at all many complaints made to 1504 as well as numerous e mails sent to GM BROADBAND but leave aside resolution nobody is even acknowledging the same .finally exhuasted I told them to disconnect the no as well as broadband facility and refund my money but still they are not listening and are sending regular bills for non existing dead and defunt service .
            Really pathetic .

            This is another complaint for MTNL (Hauz Khas) office. I have noticed no body works there. From Manager to Field eng. all are corrupt. I have lodged a complaint many times. They dont pick the call. I asked to change my modem from Wired to Wireless on 1500. But no1 is bother to attend the complaint. I try to contact Manager, He doesnt pick the call. I tried to contact Nodal officer of Bhikaji Cama Place, he doesnt answer the phone. I dont knw why they are getting salaries if they are not willing to work. These people should be handled and strict warning should be given to them. MTNL is such a shame on the face of Telecom.

                  Hello Everyone,


                  I purchased a new MTNL prepaid connection from a local shop close to my place, i was told by the reseller that it will be activated in a couple of days and it has been three weeks, the number has not been activated. I called 1508 which is the customer care number from where i was redirected to 1503 where someone answered and verified my documents. I was told by them that the number will be activated in a day or two but it was not. I have called in 1503 several times and they always redirect me to 1508 saying that it is pending from their end. Once i call 1508 they always say that it will be activated in a day and when i check the next day i get the same result. The worst part is when you call 1508, first the number is not reachable and then after trying for 10-15 times when you get sucess, the person answering the call would not talk to you properly and sometime will just hangup the call for no good reason.

                  Please help me out as i am really frustrated now. I dont undestand the point of customer service when there is no one to even greet you properly, forget the system glitches.

                  Please look into the issue.

                    I am fed up making complaint every alternate day since my broad band service is not working . last month there were issues of low speed which when conveyed to SE of Juhu telephone exchange ( under which my number falls[protected] said he was helpless as the problem was from higher end.

                    Now there are problems of frequent disruption every 10 min due to which i am unable to browse Internet. The complaints raised go unattended and I am unable to understand the fact how they can issue new docket numbers if my problem has not been resolved.

                    I request you to look into the matter and get the problem resolved otherwise I will have no option but to disconnect the service and save myself from mental agony and stress it is causing me.

                    Problem still continues. Just Docket number is given for complaint. We dont even know whether they solve the problem on daily basis because complaint number runs in thousands. We are never contacted to know exact nature of problem..
                    WHen we try to get help from 1504 they simply run throough the settingsof the modem each time . We are totally fed up of the system.
                    I request MTNL personnel should get in touch with me on [protected] before closing the complaint.

                      I have put a complaint to MTNL office, regarding the broadband not working.
                      the problem is there since 3 weeks back, we have complained about the same in the MTNL office.
                      They have never sent a technician to my place to check what is the problem, This is not the way, Please tell me the way that I could get my Broadband service fixed.

                          Hi,

                          I have submitted request for shifting of my MTNL Landline and WIFI Broadband connection on 19.01.13 at Chitra Vihar MTNL Sanchar Haat vide request # 7996 but till now I have not seen any response from MTNL in this regard.

                          Then I lodged the complaint on MTNL Online Complaints Section on 06.02.2013 and got complaint no. as 2292.

                          No action has been taken by MTNL and now it is more than 14 working days elapsed.

                          Request MTNL to take action or inform me.

                            Hello All,

                            I am following up with MTNL office sector -6 from more then a month but I am deeply hurted by the response and service, I just wanted to share my story and if anyone of you can provide me justice then I will be very grateful.

                            25th Dec 2012

                            I called up in MTNL customer care and book a connection for fixed line internet with phone instument , Plan was Rs 499/- Monthly with 4 Mbps unlimited internet plan. Also there was 500 rs off on Wifi modem so I opted Wife modem. Same day Mr. Harkesh Saini came to my house and collected all required documents with RS 500/- Instument charges.

                            I waited till 2 weeks and when didn't receive and responce then called up Mr Harkesh Saini ( who picked up document and Rs 500/- ) , He said there is some delay and suggested me to wait for one more week. I waited for one more week and then again called him , this time he said nothing is my hand you can go SEC-6 Rohni MTNL office at 10 AM and meet to SDO MR. Karar.

                            23rd Jan 2013

                            Finally I took half day from my office and reached to MTNL office sec-6 Rohini to meet SDO Mr. Karar at 10 AM in the morning , I waited till 11 Am but nobody turned up to SDO seat , approx 11 am someone suggested me to meet Mr P.S Dheer ( I am not aware what position he is holding ) and said he is a senior officer and he can help you.

                            Now I want everyone to focus on conversation held between me and Mr. P.S Dheer

                            me :- I expalined all things to Mr Dheer and I appreciate that he could listen to me.

                            Mr Dheer :- ok , I got your point and your connection is late because we done have phone instrument in our stock.

                            me :- ok , sir so when you will have instruments , I think you are a senior person and you should have update when you got all things.

                            during our conversaion Mr Dheer was getting calls on his mobile and landline and he was commiting and favouring regarding intalling new connection and I was surprise that he was saying to a lady that " Mam for you I can arrange phone instument , do not worry "

                            Mr Dheer :- Yes I have update and we will be receiving phone instument after April this year , next financial year.

                            It was shocking for me , as I had already paid Rs 500/- for phone instrument and I would not be getting it till April 2013.

                            me :- OH! , so it would be great if you can just start my internet services and later on when you have phone instrument you can provide it to me.

                            Mr Dheer :- ok , In this case you just write a letter to me , saying that you do not need phone intrument as of now and it can be provided to you on availability.

                            Me :- I said , OK and I wrote a letter then and there and gave it to Mr Dheer and requesting him to at least start my internet connection.

                            Mr Dheer :- we don't have cable in our stock as well,

                            Me :- so , what do you suggest sir , should I buy the cable and then come to you.

                            Mr Dheer :- I should not say this but if you can by the cable you own then I can ask the line man to come at your residence for giving connection to you.

                            Me :- I said OK , please give me phone number of line man and I will talk to him after arranging the cable.

                            Mr Dheer :- gave me telephone number of Line man ( Sanjeev ).

                            I called Sanjeev after coming out from MTNL office , He said to me that no need to buy cable , I have the cable I will come to your residence and complete the connection. He indicated me that rather then buying it give something to me.

                            Same day at 1 PM , Mr sanjeev came to my house and install the cable ( with karcha pani ) and said in couple of days someone will come to you to install modem , he also shared my number in the evening time[protected].


                            24th Jan 2013


                            Aprox 4 Pm I received a call from MTNL and person was claiming that he is SDO calling from Sec-6 office rohini , he gave me mobile number of Mr. Brijanand ( J E ) and asked me to collect my modem on Sunday ( 27th Jan 2013 ) after coordinating with Mr Brijanand.

                            27th Jan 2013

                            I called up Mr Brijanand at 10 AM and he asked me to come at sec-6 at 11 AM , I also explaned my pain to him but all in vain, I reached at MTNL SEC-6 Rohini office sharp at 11 AM and again called up him , he was on the way and reached to office at 11:30 AM.

                            I asked for modem , he gave me normal modem then I said him that I requested for Wifi modem during my internet application to MTNL. he said probably some clerical mistake and suggested me to give a application and issued me modem with required cables.

                            I came to home and installed it but internet was not working.

                            28th Jan 2013.

                            I called up Mr Brijanand and explained the problem again , he said check if dial tone is coming or not. I said that instrument was not provided to me then how can I check the dial tone. He suggested me to check with my neighbours if they can provide me the instrument for a while.

                            I could arrange the phone with one of my neighbour and tested but there was not dialtone , so again called up Mr Brijanand and confirmed him back that there is not dialtone. He said this is the problem and said that now line man will check this.

                            29th Jan 2013.

                            Line men came to my residence and fixed the dial tone issue , but net was not working becuase DSL light on the modem was continously blinking. I called up Mr Brijanand approx 20 times but he didn't picked up my phone.

                            Then I called up [protected] ( customer care ) and asked for help , customer care representive said if you don't have phone instrument then no help can be provided remotely but he raised a ticket for DSL light and said some one will check soon ( Ticket number :[protected].

                            Also one information was shared with me by customer care executive that you billing has already been started from last 1 week. I was shocked as my internet was not working , no phone instrument was provided to me but billing was started from back end.

                            Just after raising the ticket , when I checked the modem DSL light was stable , I was very happy and tried on my laptop , found the internet was working. but my happiness could remain with me only for 10 mins , as after 10 mins DSL light again strated blinking.

                            30th Jan 2013

                            In the morning time , I received a call from Mr Brijanand I explained all things to hime then he said speed need to be decreased ( no logic behind it ). I have decreased your speed to 512 KPBS after coordinating with NOC team and it seems it need to be decreased further and then only your internet would start working. I couldn't understand all these things but only requested him to start my internet connection at least.

                            I waited till middle of the day but internet was not working so again Approx 1:30 Pm , I personally visited to MTNL Sec-6 Rohini and met with Mr. Brijanand .He said wait till 4-5 PM after then my internet will start working, after waiting 5 PM when internet was not working , I again called up Mr Brijanand but he didn't picked up my phone.

                            Finally I again called up in customer care to follow up on my earlier ticket number , but he said no action has been taken yet and gave me new follow up ticket number :[protected].

                            Till now my internet is not working and no phone instrument has been provided to me.

                            There are few things on which I want action and help if anyone can come forward and provide justice to me , else I am planning to take some serious legal action.

                            Why connection was booked if MTNL is not having sufficient inventory.
                            Why I was asked to purchange wire for my connection by senior officer of MTNL ( I have recording of it ) and when I confirmed from Line Men , he said no need to buy the cable and asked for some SEWA.
                            Why I have been provided OLD Modem , ( Modem provided to me by Mr. Brijanand is old modem and when I objected it then he said you need not to worry MTNL is responsible for changing modem in case if it is faulty and as of now we have this modem in our stock , no new modem)
                            Why Mr, Brijanad is saying to reduce my connection speed , if this is the case the why MTNL is having RS 499/- plan with 4 MBPS speed.
                            Why I hadto go and collect modem , MTNL engineer should visit my residence to install modem and guide me with usage.
                            Why my internet is not working till now.
                            When I will be getting my telephone instrument.
                            Many more but just wanted to say that I could have easily opted for other service provider rather then writing this long mail to all of you but I just wanted to make you everyone aware that this is happening with me and I am raising it , not sure how many customer would have opted for other providers after getting so much frustration from MTNL.

                            Please help me if you can.

                            MTNL Delhi — Phone not working

                            My phone no is 27934508 has never worked. I complained many times, but without any response.
                            my home instumet is not working proprly so plz change my telephon..
                            i have applied for 1 new connection through distance telecome on 17.06.2009 as per s.no.5486.
                            But i have not alloted any connection. I have connect them several time but they did not reply properly.
                            kindly allote me a connection or send my refund back.

                            My Tele Number 26149434 and disconnected from 12 Feb 2010 and pathced someone's residence. I lodged a complaint on 12 Feb 2010 with docket No 3625. But, no action has been taken till date. I spoken to concerned JTO of the location, he advised only ABHI TEEEK HO JAIGA... Is this possible to someone's number to someone's residence. Really I am in CONFUSE... My number working from 12 Feb 2010 in someone's residence... Very Poor Service...

                            MY INTERNET IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY DUE TO OLD MODEM FIX AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION SO SAME SHOULD BE CHANGE AT THE EARLIEST .

                              My MTNL telephone (Number[protected], Name and Billing address -VIJAY KUMAR JOHARI,226 4TH FLR JAGRITI ENCLAVE,DELHI-110092) connection not working properly since past 5 months, there is complete noise disturbance in the line and we cant even complaint on the helpline number and the bill is being issued without any usage.This disturbance is causing so inconvenience to us from such a long time and this problem happens every year but this time it has reached heights 5MONTHS IS MY OUTSTANDING AND THERE IS STILL NO INQUIRY FROM COMPANY REGARDING BILL.

                              MTNL — Wrong connection

                              Hello,

                              MTNL customer service after sale is very zero..they never seem to give a damn about any customer complaining.. i got a 999 unlimited 1mb speed plan...has never seen my download speed going beyond 110 kbps..even after complaining for almost 2 months..on 1504, 198.. nothing has changed...very bad experience..how to get it fixed?

                                Respect Sir ,
                                This is in reference to various calls made to the departments of exchange and sanchar haat and 1504 . The details of the harassment faced by me is as follows :

                                1. I had applied for connection of triband broadband on 21 dec 2012 and my connection was installed in the following week.
                                2. The broadband was activated with the 499 combo plan on 29th of the december.
                                3. I was able to use the broadband well till 10th of january , after which it stopped working. I made complaints on 1504 where they suggested that line was down and the services shal be resumed in a day or two. After the complaint was not adressed I made complaints 3 times in coming ten days.
                                4. On 23 january I received the call from 27010163 that my broadband is not activated and one india plan has been activated on my number effective 10 january.
                                5. I spoke on 27922900 , 27011111 , 1500 among other numbers. They suggested they could do nothing about the issue . I requested all senior managers and even the on duty supervisor on 1500 to provide me proof of having given a request for change of plan , nobody was able to furnish any details or evidence.
                                6. Because of the negligence on part of the authorities I have been facing harassment and have resulted in suffering of my business as I have not been able to co ordinate on emails or use web.

                                I hereby requested you as being reasonable officers the following:
                                1. To look into the matter and restore the 499 plan.
                                2. To waiver the rent or charges incurred between 10 january and the date of restoration of broadband.
                                3. To punish the concerned person for this grave negligience.

                                I AM USING MTNL BROADBAND FROM LAST 1 YEAR.
                                AT FIRST THREE MOTNH ITS SPPES WAS UPTO 260 KBPS
                                NOW FROM LAST 9 MONTHS ITS SPEED IS SO POOR LIKE UPTO 30 KBPS.
                                ITS DISCONNECT MORE THAN 100 TIMES IN A DAY.
                                FROM 23 JAN ITS COMPLETLY DISCONNECTED.
                                NO PROPER RESPONSE FROM MTNL STAFF.
                                ON 1504 THEY TELL THAT THEY CAN ONLY FORWARD OUR COMPLAINS NOTHING ELSE.

                                    I am using mtnl prepaid telecom service and also using the 3g service provided by mtnl mumbai network.

                                    Very often it is noticed that the 3g service provided by mtnl mumbai is of very poor service and very unreliable and often gets disconnected and i am suffereing serious loss in my transactions.

                                    I have been paying a lot for the 3g service, whereas i am not able to get good and reliable service from the provider.

                                    Kindly take action to rectify the above issue of 3g service of mtnl in mumbai area.

                                    yes even i m using mtnl 3g and same thing is happening here too .. I guess they must be doing some maintenence work regarding their network . But its true that the service is pretty good but not CONSTANT .

                                      An amount of Rs 30/- has been deducted from my account balance on 14 Jan 2013. When i complained to customer care firstly they were disconnect my call without any information. I repeated it again but response was same. After a long time they received my call and told me that you have send international sms. They deny to return my balance and even they did not give me a positive response. Please do the needful.

                                        This is to bring to your notice that I;ve been using MTNL 3G Jadoo. Earlier the speed of the connection was slow.

                                        I've not been able to work due to the pathetic speed however it shows full network and reflects 4-5 tower but the sending speed and receiving speed is very slow. It shows a server name "Edge". Please take neccessary action to speed up the connection. My number is [protected].

                                        I fully agree with you. It is a matter of sheer disgust to own an MTNL 3G INTERNET CONNECTION. I am sick and tired of their service in Vasant Kunj. It is a total waste of time and money. It seems that MTNL is absolutely unconcerned about their subscribers and still claim to have the largest subscribers' base.

                                        MTNL 3G JADOO — Not able to make calls

                                        hi... i have seen and analyze that the network of 3g is very poor as comparable to others 2g network.. even other's 2g network is faster than mtnl 3g jadoo. i notice it at my home, malls, and those areas where in basements or groundfloors og any bulding, the networks are gone completely... although others networks are so good even better in 2g...
                                        my humble request is that plz try provide us atleast better 3g networks as comparable to others...

                                        it is a state telecommunication. so MTNL must take some actions to fullfill the requirements of their customers for thier reputations... plzzzz..
