[Resolved] PVR Cinemas — Refund of Ticket not booked but Charged | |
I had booked tickets from PVR website on 24th Dec for the movie 3 for PVR Mulund. But due to some glitch Rs 720 was debited from my HDFC bank vide transaction number CCA[protected]Avenues (India) Ltd but I did not receive any confirmation. Instead a message was displayed " Transaction not Successfull. You amount will be credited back". It has not happened till date Its been more than 7 days till now I have not received my refund. Niether any person from PVR has contacted me. I have given them three reminders on their mail id mentioned in Website but in vain. Cell [protected] Was this information helpful? | |

I tried to book tickets online on 01 Jan 2010 at around 12.15pm. These were for Sahara Mall, PVR Cinema for 3 movie. I tried to book 8 tickets and also punched in my credit card number **** **** **** 0787. However, I got a error message that the tickets could not be booked and any amount, debited to my card, shall be reversed.
We have also written mail to PVR CINEMAS on 1st itself but awating their reply. So, you are requested to please get this matter looked into and arrange for a revert of the amount to my credit card. My name is Barkha Gupta and the credit card is a Platinum card of HSBC Bank, which is expiring on 01/12. The amount is Rs. 1520/-. The last 4 digits of the card are 0787.
Please treat the amount as disputed till it is settled and revert as soon as possible.

I had booked 4 tickets (Normal Class for show 3.35 PM) from PVR website on today itself i.e. 10.10.11 for the movie "Doraemon in Nobita and the steel troops-the new age" for PVR Raipur. For which Rs 380/- was debited from my SBI bank vide transaction number CCA11JBLC431-IG[protected] Avenues (India) P.Ltd but I did not receive any confirmation. On reaching to the booking window at PVR, Raipur to collect the booked tickets, it was told me that no ticket have been booked as stated above. therefore, we returned back without watching of the movie. Similar was the case with my friend. He went to see the manager in PVR and he was not interested even to here them out. He said that there were 3-4 other people with similar issues.
I think it is time we should choose Big cinema over PVR. Stop watching films in PVR!!!
PVR is PATHETIC!!!
