2) If you are on facebook, you can use PVR application on Facebook to book tickets

    on January 14th 2011 i have booked 2 tickets , Hyderabad PVR, 4:50 movie, i used PVR 250 rupees gift card, but the tickets price 340 rupees, it asked me again 90 rupees pay, unfortunately my axis bank account locked , when i try to pay, but again i tried its saying gift card balance is zero, but i have not yet received any confirmation about tickets or gift balance.

    I have all the conversations with them and videos too, going to legal actions, if any people facing the same problems please let me know.

    i have deducted balance form my atm, but not alloted any seat and i have not informed by mail that my txn have been failed.

    my PNB account has been debited by 360 INR by online txn for pvr cinemas tickets but i have not allotted any seats and i have not informed by mail that my txn was failed.

      I was trying to book 2 tickets through online for movie Kavalan on 21st of Jan Morning for the show on 22nd Jan 09.30 show. My amount 300 was taken taken from my account but ticket was not confirmed. Transcation reference is UBP/DEBIT/[protected]. i need my money 300 to be transferred back to my account. have attached the transactions details attached.

        I'd booked 4 tickets for a 12:45 p.m. show on January, 17th (No one killed Jessica movie) through PVR cinema's site. An amount of Rs.780/- has been deducted from my HDFC account for which I got a confirmation message from the bank. But the tickets were not booked. The page got hanged but debited the amount. When I went to PVR cinema MGF Metropolitan, Gurgaon they said that the amount will be refunded if i lodge a complaint here.

        Requesting the concerned authorities to kindly resolve the matter asap. Thanking you.

        on 4 of july 2011 i bought 3 tickets for delhi belly for 8 pm show in which i have gien to coupan of free tickets and one ticket was chargeable the person who standing on window swaped my debit card and told me tranction is not done then he swaped it again the also the problem was same then he saw the roll of machine is finshed then he ut the roll and took outthe dupilicate slip i told he that card is swiped twice he told me no sr because when he was swaping the roll was not there. when i took out the money from my atm then i took out mini statement also in which ticket amount was cut twice that is 175rs. my ticket no is audi 5 row C ticket no 1, 2, 3.my debit card no is [protected].i want my money back.my cell no is [protected]

          I had booked ticket for 8th January 8:30 PM show of "no one killed jessica" through online portal and debited INR 650 twice (because both time there was an error occurred during the transaction) but the ticket was not booked and today when i found the status of my account i do not get the credit of that amount (INR 1300), i have forwarded my concern to PVR cinemas but there is no revert from there end

              I have booked 5 online tickets for movie MEGAMIND-3D for PVR-Nariana on date 29th dec2010; showtime 6:30.

              At the end of payment of Rs 775 through online SBI banking, the ticket was not booked; a message was appeared as "booking session expired". However, the transaction was done from my SBI account. The transaction reference no. is "CCA10LAAT602IG36963364 TRANSFER to [protected] AVENUES INDIA PRIVATE" .

              After this, I mailed 3 times to the PVR Cinemas at [protected]@pvrcinemas.com for this failure, but i did not recieved any responses from them. Even so far, i did not get my money back.

              PVR Cinema — Money not returned

              I booked two tickets for a movie in PVR Cinema through my debit card (A/C no.[protected]-SBI, Lahurabir,Varanasi) on December 24, 2009 but could not received tickets. I continued the same again but the results were same. In this process, Rs 590 +590= Rs 1180 were deducted from my account. Till date the money was not refunded despite complaints with PVR site. Pl make arrangements to return money to my account soon.

                Respected sir ,

                I want to state that while booking tickets online for tees maar khan PVR on 24 th by using internet banking of state bank of India in chennai , tamilnadu , unfortunately there was an error in the transaction all the procedures were successful but i haven't received any confirmation mail , then i checked my account i found that rs 300 was deducted from my account . i knew that any failed transaction will be credited to the debited account 2-3 days , this is according to the rule .

                so , i waited for few days , i have sent email to PVR , but they are not replying and they dont have any contact no. as well as customer support .

                so i am very much confused how to get my money back .
                i have never experienced such a situation .

                PVR Cinemas — unsuccessful translation

                dear sir/madam,
                i had booked tickets through online on 05/05/11 for the movie "ko" 3.35pm show in pvr chennai.
                i booked two times the tickets(ref no.1.CCA11EBPO897,2.CCA11EBPP214,)but the tickets was not confirmed both the times & the amount was debited twice for the said reason.later one of the ticket's amount was refunded(ref no.1.CCA11EBPO897) but the amount for ticket with the ref no..CCA11EBPP214 is not yet refunded .kindly take the necessary actions for the refund of my money.

                  I want to do the complaint for 3D glasses which provide by Naraina PVR Cinema for 3D movie Narnia 3.

                  These glasses are very highy and sizes are also very bigger which not suitable for kids.

                  We pay the higher charges for 3D movie but due to high weight and big sizes my kids not enjoy this movie.

                  I recently watched men in black 3 in 3d with my sister at pvr cinemas in Mulund she and I got two different glasses. She got the lighter one and I got the heavier one and because of that my head started paining.
                  I request you to give same type of glasses to all, after all we are paying the same price .

                    I tried to book 4 tickets of movie "No Problem" on 11-Dec-2010 for 8pm show on PVR-Mulund for which cost shown to me was Rs. 780.

                    I tried to pay with gift card no. [protected] for Rs. 500 and balance amount of Rs. 280 was to be paid through credit card. Process was aborted in between giving error message "SESSION EXPIRED" and when I tried to book ticket again using the same gift card, I found that balance on the same gift card was zero.

                    Again, I booked the ticket with another gift card no. [protected] for Rs. 500 and balance Rs. 280 with credit card. This time the process was successful.

                    However, balance of Rs. 500 on gift card no. [protected] was wronglly nullified and hence the same needs to be reinstated and confirmed.

                    I still await action from PVR and any response in this regard.

                      Online booking transaction
                      I just booked 4 tickets online from the PVR cinemas site for the hindi movie Guzarish scheduled for tomorrow 30/11/10 at 6.15 PM. After I was directed to the HDFC netbanking site and the payment was done I received an error of "transaction unsuccessful". On checking my account I observed that an amount totalling to 780/- was deducted and no confirmation message was sent either to my e-mail ID or mobile number.
                      I was able to pull out the contact number of PVR cinemas,MGF Mall Gurgaon from the net but the the line was busy constantly or was left unanswered. I immediately dropped them an e-mail on [protected]@pvrcinemas.com,[protected]@pvrcinemas.com raising my concern. While looking for a way to recover the money I was really shocked when I stumbled on the consumer complaints forum here to find numerous disgruntled customers who have raised complaints voicing the same issue. I would appreciate if someone looks into this right away and ensure that our money is credited back to our accounts. This is highly inexcusable as this issue has been going on since long.
                      Please revert back my money as soon as possible.

                          I tried booking 2 tickets for "The Devil" on the 6th of November 2010 through PVR's website http://www.pvrcinemas.com using HDFC netbanking, but before I could complete the booking the transaction timed out. An amount of Rs. 500 was debited from my account and hasn't yet been refunded. [CCA[protected]Avenues India Ltd, Cheque No. C[protected]] I have emailed both [protected]@pvrcinemas.com and [protected]@pvrcinemas.com, but there has been no reponse so far. I really don't understand how a giant enterprise like PVR can afford to be so callous and irresponsible. Can someone please tell me what to do about this? Who do I take this up with?

                          Exactly, Even I booked two tickets for Tanu weds Manu and amount 280 had been deducted from my account. They are not willing to offer any support. They asked me to send an email to [protected]@pvrcinemas.com. Its been more that 10 days and I have not received a single mail from them.
                          Its a sheer that the company like PVR is doing this. Shame on PVR.

                            i just booked 2 tickets from online PVR cinema ( orion mall bangalore) site for the movie of son of sardar on 13/11/12. for 14/11/12 secand show 08:50 pm after i was directed to the hdfc net banking billing was done .RS.556.18 the amount has been debited from my account, i recived transection un successfull, i havent recived any of confarmation message either mobile/ e mail id. i tried up orion mall they told we dont have PVR contact no . this is not fair.

                              I was trying to book my tickets online for Harry potter on 22nd Nov 2010. I had selected 2 seats and I was in the process of making the payment. The total amount was Rs 540. I did get a prompt saying I can make a payment of 500(available balance in my gift card) and the rest of the payment can be done using another mode of payment. First, I made a payment of Rs500 using my Gift card, then I tried to select debit card and then got a message “ Session expired”. I did not get my tickets neither I got a confirmation. Any help please?

                              A website developed for financial transcations should not be so BAD.. Functionality of the PVR website is a money loss to the public...

                              As with ref to the bill (BIL/[protected]/film/PVRCINEMAS.COM) Dated 27/11/10, Rs775/- was deducted from my account but my ticket had not booked, but till now I am not getting refund of my money/ back to deposit to my account . Why???????????????????pl. give me the clarification.
                              Similar problem!

                              I was trying to book for a show in Chennai on 13th Feb 2011.

                              I took the option of debit card, and completed my payment transaction. At the end of payment you are told the transaction is not completed and the money will be refunded.

                              And as you have mentioned, Acknowledgment of failed transaction are never sent on the email id and mobile nos collected on the form while booking.

                              I was successful with net banking but now I find there are repeated charges and I still haven't received a refund

                                I tried to book 3 tickets today (14.12.2010:9.20am) at the website for the movie "The Social Network", at PVR Skywalk, Chennai for 1:15 pm show. I took the option of Axis Bank Net Banking, and completed my payment transaction. At the end of payment you are told the transaction is not completed and the money will be refunded.

                                But you get no response from the email id of the pvr support. And I am still waiting for the money refund. What are the option available? Can somebody help in this regard.

                                No phone numbers are ever displayed on the website. Acknowledgement of failed transaction are never sent on the email id and mobile nos collected on the form while booking.

                                My friend a bank manager, gave me a PVR Voucher 'Movie Money': Voucher No. 070423. This Voucher states that it can be redeemed for one ticket of any show/any day/any film playing at PVR cinemas.

                                We (husband and myself) had planned to buy one ticket along with the free ticket so that both o[censored]s can watch 'Peepli Live'. We went to PVR at mulund on[protected]Monday) at 7.00 pm. Only one counter was open as it was a weekday. Incidentally, the two girls ahead o[censored]s also had the same vouchers 'Movie Money'.

                                The girls showed the vouchers and asked for 'Peepli Live', PVR employee at the counter said that 'Peepli live' show for 8.05 pm was full whereas the board displaying the various movies indicated 'Peepli Live' in white which means full availability. The girls were disappointed and asked for other shows. They reluctantly settled for 'Aisha'.

                                Next was our turn, my husband had Rs. 500 in one hand and Voucher in the other. He first gave money and asked for 'Peepli Live'. Surprisingly PVR employee didn't tell us that show was full and asked how many tickets we need. He then started booking the tickets on the terminal.

                                When my husband said that he had one voucher, PVR employee said tickets are not available on voucher. When we asked the reason he said the only few rows are reserved for vouchers. The voucher clearly states that only Gold class, Premiere Lounge or Cinema Europa is not applicable. Mulund PVR does not have any of these. We asked to talk to the Manager.

                                The Manager, Amit K came and realised that the junior employee has spilled the beans. He told him to get aside rudely and started shouting and became very aggressive for no reason. He then continued to sell 'Peepli Live' tickets to those who were offering money.

                                I will never go to PVR again. I urge banks and institutions to not fall in the trap of PVR cheap marketing gimmicks. Please don't buy these vouchers for your employees. PVR fools you into seeing movies which are not selling. Even if you get these vouchers dont bother to redeem it, its just a waste of time.
                                After I put my complaint here, PVR responded by following mail:

                                Dear Mr/Ms. Rai,

                                This is to bring to your kind notice that due to some technical issues you got charged for the transaction but your tickets are not booked. So, we hereby assure that the if amount got debited will be credited back to your account within fourteen working days.

                                We also request you to use any of the below mentioned methods to book PVR movie tickets in future:

                                1) Visit our website www.pvrcinemas.com to make online booking

                                2) If you are on facebook, you can use PVR application on Facebook to book tickets

                                3) By calling 505787 from your Airtel, Vodafone or Idea and Reliance user can dail 5050787 for Mobile ticketing

                                Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

                                i.e I got aresponse, thanks to this forum. But the repayment has been pushed back from 4 days to 14 days.

                                I THEREFORE URGE EVERYBODY TO USE THIS FORUM.
                                i have bought a pvr gift card but it had not been deliverd to my address, , even after it is going to b a month...n they r giving the guarantee of delivering a week...

The characters had to be made interesting in order to sustain the interest of viewers. I don’t really think that Mark Zuckerberg was that ruthless and scheming.

                                it seems that pvr has a bad marketing head with no control over his team
                                Dear readers,
                                the pvr at jalandhar is a big cheat. I[censored] happen to buy a burger that costs some 80 or 180 rupees the guy adds 20 rupees cheese on his own. On wanting to have it deleted they argue n claim its a part of the order. If it was then dont charge 20 extra. They say that it has to be given n charged even i[censored] dont want it, on finally speaking with the manager they agreed. So guys this sort of cheating is being done at jalandhar only as far as i have noticed, be careful. I[censored] notice it too plz complain about it, the staff is bloody rude and devoid u of your rights.

                                  Hi Avenues India Team,

                                  Please find the adjoining e-mail thread for the communication by my bank(HDFC) on the failed transaction .

                                  (booking done on 14/10/2010 by me for the malayalam movie "Pranchiyettan" for the 15/10/2010 09:25 PM show for two persons @ pvr cinemas,Koramangala through your payment gateway).

                                  Request you to take necessary and prompt action to refund the booking amount(480 Rupees) as this complaint is aging 20 days already.

                                  Also find excerpts from my original complaint as given below for the details and history of my complaint.

                                  This was regarding an issue with respect to a booking done on 14/10/2010 by me for the malayalam movie "Pranchiyettan" for the 15/10/2010 09:25 PM show for two persons.

                                  My first booking attempt was not successful but an amount of 480 rupees had been debited from my HDFC debit account as the booking session had got expired and I was able to the following message on the screen .(similar wording -from my memory)

                                  "Booking session expired.If your money had debited from your account it will be refunded"

                                  After that I had tried for another booking for the same show for two persons and that booking was successful .(480 rupees debited for this booking also).

                                  I haven't got the 480 ruppes refunded to my account yet for the failed booking due to session expiration.This amount was debited from my bank account.

                                      Dear Concern,

                                      On 21 Aug 2010 I was booking 7 tickets for "Peepli Live" movie in PVR Chandigarh.
                                      The transaction failed as the session was over..ticket wasn’t confirmed but money was deducted from my HDFC account.
                                      I booked the ticket again and Rs. 735.00 were debited twice from my account.

                                      The failure message online booking was "Your tickets cannot be booked, If money has been debited from your account it will be refunded".
                                      It’s been almost a month and I am still waiting for the refund. I have filed a complaint on their PVRSUPPORT but no reply received yet.

                                      I escalated it with HDFC and they said

                                      I NEED MY MONEY BACK WITH COMPENSATION AS THE MONEY WAS LYING WITH YOU FROM LAST ONE MONTH

                                      I am sending you the screen shot of my account because when I talk to PVRsupport they say the money was processed on 18th but I have not received any money as you can see in the screenshot.
                                      It’s been more than a month now.

                                        my name is vijay kadli i had booked tickets in pvr cinemas chennai located in skywalk mall on the date of 15th and 18th of september 2010.
                                        i succesfully booked the ticket on both dates but the problem was on both dates when i booked for the first time i was charged the movie money while the message appeared as booking session expired and your money will be refunded.. this happened on both dates and i havent yet received the refund money

                                        i just book ma show for pvr on friday of july through net banking at the last step it just stop ....and i didnt get any ticket details , there is none ticket booked and amount detected from ma account ....
                                        so just me what 2 do and please help to find the solution...
                                        i faced the same problem. i sent a mail to [protected]@pvrcinemas regarding this... but i dint get any reply..
