This company is a cheat. The representative showed me a demo with 2MBPS connection and during the demo the internet was working great with a download speed of 2 MBPS and an upload speed of 900 KBPS. Based on this I booked a new connection (4mpbs) and the installation team came to my apartment and I asked them to show the signal strength and speed before actual installation. The signal strength was 13% and download speed is only 350kbps and I told them to cancel the connection. The tikona representative told me that he will speak to the office and disconnect it with two weeks. After three weeks I got a call from Tikona team that my usage is around 15GB. First of all the installation itself was not done and how can I use it. They can easily find out who is using it and disable it. Even after repeated calls they are not disabling the connection. I guess the tikona executive is selling the information to outside world for some cheap money. I sent an email to CEO prakash.[protected]@tikona.in‎; [protected]@tikona.in and customer care still no response. I realized that still consumers dont have any rights in India. This is my horrible experience in my life time. Please don't try the internet connection given by this company they know how to cheat & frustrate the customer only. The customer care of tikona is world's worst service I ever seen.

I am a user of tikona broadband and I have been mentally harassed by tikona staff, my net is not working since last more than a month and every morning I had to call the tikona customer care for the issue and every single day, they tell me the same old story of tower problem.

I have filed a FIR against the company Tikona Broadband and its CEO Prakash Bajpai for Mental Harassment, Mental Torture and Fraud.

I would like to make a official court case against this company and need support of other people who are interested to sue the company for all the mental harassment and torture that this company and its CEO has given to its customer.

I would like to request all the harassed tikona broadband customers to file a FIR in their local police station for mental harassment, mental torture and ofcoure for fraud under IPC 420 and send me the scanned copy of the FIR.

We are then going to use all the FIR to file the court case against the company and demand for the compensation for all the harrased customers.

I want terminate broadband services of tikona. As from day one of the connection. Dropped connection and speed issue. No one could resolve it. At last I email to customer care for terminate broadband service. Still no action. I have paid Rs 5185.
I too agree with the same, that tikona people has the worst customer care people available so far i have seen.
Tikona is harrasing me for almost last 1 year now. I requested disconnection in April 12 due to poor connection and disruption in service. No one approached me for disconnection and to my utter surprise I got bills for payment.

Then few months back I got a call from a guy claiming to be from their legal department telling that I need to pay the outstanding amount. I paid the amount i.e the rental for a service which i never got.

But as you all very well know Tikona is a trap. Inspite of settling all the bills I still am getting bills for payment and you would be surprised to know that neither do I have their equipment installed nor am i using their service since April 12.

I am being harrased regularly and no one listens. Neither customer care, nor Mr Nair, no one.

I dont know what to do...

I have been also harrassed in the same way, i asked for a demo and the representative asked me to pay 1700 and the amount will be refunded if i am not satisfied with the speed. The speed was not good and asked for disconnection, they say that i have used 1.5 gb and need to pay for it including installation charges. I have been sending mails to customer care and appellate it has been 50 days and still they say that they are checking with back end team.THIS COMPANY IS CHEATING CUSTOMERS. Dont ever suggest TIKONA to any one in your life.
Even I got a call today folks some guy claiming to be calling from session court delhi mentioning that some lady conatables will come and take me to court. This is a case of mental harassment and nothing else. Please contact me on [protected]@gmail.com so we can together fill a mental harassment case against them. Please don't be scared of such fraud and cheat companies. We need to get together and throw them out of our country or in jail. They are turning business into gundaraj. Horrible not having any shame instead threatening people who are tax payers and respectable people of the country. What all is written above is exactly what was done to me and trust me now I know that they do this to every one. Now they got to stop. That's it!

Firstly the connection had problems and my internet stopped working. This was in June 2012. My plan was Rs. 1100 per month. Then I had to log three separate complaints so that my issue could be fixed but no one was sent to service it and no one repaired it. So I called up customer care to disconnect it. He took my request and told me that my service has been disconnected and the device will be collected. So a person came and collected the device and did not provide me with a receipt. I didn't ask for one since I did not know that I would need one.

After one month another person from tikona calls and says that I have not paid my bill for June. I told the concerned person that I would pay only Pro-Rate till the date my internet was working. That person also conveyed to me that my connection has not been disconnected and that I am supposed to send a mail for the same.

Finally my connection was disconnected in July and I was asked to pay the entire amount for 2 months. I had to fight it out with tikona people and finally they agreed to send me a Pro-Rate bill. They told me the bill would be mailed to me. A bill has never been mailed to me till date.

Today their advocate calls and threatens to file a case against me if I do not pay up. When I called up customer care asking where is my bill so that I can pay it I was informed that my mail id is wrongly registered with tikona hence I didn't receive a mail and also that I haven't returned the device hence I would have to pay Rs. 1500 fine.

So kindly help me out here. I was told by their Customer Care executive Ms. Nidhi Awasthi that it is not my fault that I do not have a receipt since their person who took the device didn't give one but since I do not have a receipt they have the right to charge me Rs. 1500. So basically they are out rightly looting me.

I have been threatened. I have wasted my time attending and calling up customer care and finally they ask me to pay for something which is not my fault and has been acknowledged by their own customer care executive.

So should I lodge an FIR against this company for looting me or a Case in Consumer Court for harassing me? Kindly let me know at the earliest.

Tikona is the worst service provider. I took a new connection 3 months back and with in 10 days there was some issue from there side and still that issue persist. finally we asked for disconnection and refund, there final settlement mail says refund amount as 0 and there representative in last call said u will get full refund only 10 days usage charge will be deducted.they are fraud.Please donot go for this service.They take advance amount and never give services.
worst of all ISP.

Customer care says "we will not provide you any services but you will have to pay the bill regularly and that to in advance or else they will send there representative to you home".


I think we all should file a PIL in IPC and Consumer court and ask for compensation.

Reading the above comments. I realized, I am not the only one who suffered . There are thousands in the queue who had been mentally harassed and tortured by TIKONA.

The agony began from getting tikona installed at my house after calling on CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER . The agent who came for the installation took Rs 1500 as SECURITY DEPOSIT which was to be RETURNED BACK at the time o[censored]nsubscribing the services or it would be deducted from the last months bill,
and then the real misery commenced. The services where down most of the times, in-spite of numerous complaints.
Ultimately we decided to get the services uninstalled. The same agent came for the uninstalling the services and modem . The AGENT ( who always came to us on complaints on customer care number ) took the MODEM from us and did not give us any receipt, In-spite of asking it from him . He just said as you have unsubscribed online we do not give any receipt for it .
And from there it culminated into series of problems.

I got the call from customer care to pay the bill for the last month and the cost of the MODEM and the FINE ( This came as surprise as we had submitted the MODEM to the agent ) . (A TOTAL AMOUNT OF Rs 1989.95 ),

Here the bill for the last month was Rs 489.95 . As I had made a REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT of Rs 1500, I must have got Rs 1010.05 from TIKONA as the REFUND.

Whereas, According to TIKONA I had to pay them Rs 1989.95 on the contrary.

Then, I got a call from an Advocate who said, He is going to file a case against me, if i do not pay the Bill in 1 hour. And, He was very rude in communicating this to me and he used all sorts of abusive words.I tried to explain him the case.

The sentence the advocate said was " Chutiya company haai, maar rahi haai tmhaari and Tumm ussey nikal nahi saktey . Company tumko sirf chutiya banayegi Tumhaara koii kaam nahi hoga . Tumhaarey paas case rokney ka ek hi rasta haai, bill +fine pay karr do, wohh bhii ek ghantey ke andar " .

This came as a big surprise.Then I called CUSTOMER CARE Number and explained them the case.
They just declined me saying:

1. They did not take Rs 1500 as security deposit . ( WHICH WAS TAKEN BY THE AGENT )

2. They did not receive the modem . (WHICH WAS COLLECTED BY THEIR AGENT )

That is why, we shall have to pay the amount to prevent the case on us.

In-spite of being right in every front I was ready to sort out the matter and talk to them peacefully. If they Withdraw the case .
Meanwhile, I got numerous calls from their advocate . Who kept on saying That he is lodging a case and I shall have to be present in Delhi Civil Court in another 3 days in a very rude manner.

After calling several times on CUSTOMER CARE number, they routed my call to the Senior manager Over There. She said She cannot do anything for me on this front, In-spite of me being Right.

Again, I got a call from the advocate that he has filed a case against me. And he shall revert it back only if I pay my bill.

Disgusted, Insulted, Demoralized, Agitated I Paid the money (Rs 1989.95), Because I could not afford to spend my time and money on the court case.

I agree with all the people who has filed complain against this fraud company, first they provide fake information and earn customer's trust then the technical team doesn't respond with any solution later their payment's team send a bill for the service which customer has not used.
I was a customer of tikona 4 months back(in bangalore) i was using the connection from past 1 year(Quarterly plan)-Customer id-[protected]

the installation guy said my plan is a prepaid plan so i have to pay upfront quarterly to get the service, most of the time i was not able to use the service due to some or the other technical issue and whenever i called them their technical guys are so dumb every time i call they say "switch off and on the adapter and laptop" still the problem persists so i have insisted to send a person to visit my place to see the issue in the receiver multiple times every time i say that they said "we will be fixing the problem remotely so keep the adapter on for the next 24 hrs" and still the problem persist still they never send a single technician to visit my place and every time they say they will call back do not believe them coz they won't. and 4 months back when i had already communicated that i donot want to continue the service the agent said " i am registering your complaint and taking the request to discontinue the service" and now after four long months again they are sending mails and sms to pay the bill as they are saying my account is suspended due to non payment of the bill, even though they are making calls also during techical issue they never evr called me but for billing 5times a day and they are arranging some call from delhi for some legal action now when i have called their customer service they said your complaint had not been registered and you have to pay the bill, and when i asked to talk to their manager they said they will arrange a call back within 30 mins from manager side as the manager was not on floor.till date they never call me back.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I had taken Tikona's Broadband Service - User ID - [protected].

The connection was not working properly from the beginning. Even after several complaints, it was not corrected. Initially, twice or thrice, the representatives came and fixed. But again the next day itself the same problem occurred and we couldn't get the connection.

Made several calls and complaints and all of no use. Finally, frustrated, I asked them to cancel and disconnect. They said, they will, but never did that and kept sending the SMS for bill due. It started with Rs.411 overdue and came till Rs.1197 - This was the period when I was not using and after I had requested to disconnect and cancel the account.

And finally a person named Priyanka called and threatened saying she is from Delhi court and is filling a case against me. Her mobile no, is [protected]. And gave me one Mr.Chetan Sharma's number as Tikona Manager - [protected]. I spoke to him and he said I have to pay Rs.2700, when my due was Rs.1197(which again was for not using the line). I told him to take back the modem and everything and cancel the account and still he said, its in court case and he cannot take back the modem and that I have to pay Rs.2700.

On 17th December 2013. Within 6 hours time, I received and made more than 20 calls and just pushed me to make the payment in 30 minutes, 15 minutes etc. even when I told them I don't have access to internet to make online payment, they kept threatening me to make the payment instantly.

In the evening around 5.30PM, Priyanka again called and threatened and gave the phone to someone saying her assistant who said his name was Deepak - who was none but that same Chetan Sharma. Same voice, same accent, was easy to identify its the same person. It was a pure cheating call and it was shocking to see such behavior from a so called reputed company Tikona.

Totally regret my choice of Tikona and went through so much of mental worry and harassment and totally spoiled my work that day. I had to go through all this for not using their service and after telling them to cancel.

Please check the usage charges - It was 0.00 for the past few months. This is after confirming through customer care call to them to disconnect and cancel the line. Totally unfair deal.

As on 18th Decemeber 2013, I have paid Rs.1500 to a sales representative from Tikona and he confirmed that the payment is made, whereas my due was Rs.1192, which is a over payment and I request you to do the needful and return the undue amount. I made the payment just to avoid this total disturbing call and to have little peace of mind.

One of the worse customer service I have faced and the worst experience in my life.

Please treat your customers with respect and care at least in future.

I had already requested for cancellation of my account and the same has been sent via email, sms and through phone call to customer care. The whole amount is paid even though the connection was not used for more than 3 months. and it was confirmed that there is no pending and account is cancelled. and yet, I have received an amount of 78Rs bill both through sms and email on 17 Jan 14.

What kind of worst service is this? Just because of your improper management and unreasonable tracking, I have been paying undue
amounts for non-usage multiple times. From the time I started with Tikona, I have paid Rs.3000 Rs.1500 - all for not using this connection
for not more than a month. And also many threatening calls saying legal action and other frustrating phone calls.

Please stop this service and I do not like to receive any such bills or communication from this. please do the needful.
Please do not make me pay any further. Twice, your customer people resources called up and said they will come and collect the modem and other devices.
But none of them turned up.

This is the second time, I'm writing an irritated and frustrated mail, in spite of my busy schedules and all other daily chores, .
Please understand and do the needful. We do not have time and energy to cope up with this worst service and worst attitude.
For the mails I write, I'm getting only auto-reply mails and no action has been taken.

Yes, I knew that I ain't the only one with this issue. Here is an email that I've send out to the CEO of Tikona.

Hello Mr.Bajpai, I really don't know if someone is going to read this email with proper attention. Being the CEO of the worst ISP in India you might be seeing tons of emails like this daily, which mayn't affect you. However being a customer who pays the hard earned money to get this freaky service I can't put up with this. Well here is the issue, read if you have a minute or two from your so called Tikona CEO life. Back in March 2014 (9th March) I paid 3K INR for the connection 2 MBPS for 3 months and set it up. Right after 2 days the issue started. Its not connecting to internet (Being a Network and Hardware engineer I know how an Internet connection works and have the idea of fixing it). After that I had to call customer care a million time to fix it. Every time I call they arrange a tech and they will come fix it and go. Issue will reoccur again. I literally was irritated and felt like throwing the modem and router in garbage. Is hat What I paid for????After repeated calls to your tech support centre they have finally decided that they don't have any freaking coverage in my area and can't have the connection here. Finally decided to get the refund after a long fight with the customer care agents who cant even speak proper English. After the long wait I hadn't even got any confirmation about the same from Tikona, so finally I had to sent an email out to the Appellate authority Mr.J Nair, Mumbai. He just was giving some forward emails to me. I also tried to contact Nodal officers, wherever or whenever I call I get this answer"Sir Unhone kaam chodke chala gaya" What???? Don't you pay well to them? Finally I was told that will be sending a cheque to me. Its been more than a month and I haven't got anything yet. Another concern your local rep made a big mess, as the rooftop device is on my friend's building he had me to give his name and phone number to start connection and the address is mine.. So now the cheque is in his name and the address is mine. How will that work, moreover just 2 days of pathetic connection you have debited 1400 from my account. So Mr.Bajpai I know that you have a strong legal department though you don't have a proper service team for the business, so I'm going to lodge a compliant against Tikona in Consumer court of India and we all will see there. I feel if the systems in India were like US like having a BBB a company like Tikona would have been perished long back. Alas!

This service company is like cheating the peoples. I took you services around 4 weeks back, I never got good internet connection from the day I took your service. Every day one and the other issues and end up calling you customer care. Every time I raise a issues some engineer will come do and something, it works for 1 day (max) and same issue. So many times I logged in complaint. Many time it’s so happen that I called up ur customer care, after I call them they do something from their end and it works, in the sense I never got uninterrupted services on its own.

This such a frustration to use Tikona service. Whenever I called call center people and asking I need to talk one of your executive, believe me nobody even bother to allow me to talk to your higher people to tell what is my issues.

I am so frustrated up with your service, I already taken Airtel for standby, if this continues I am ready throw this connection, I really don’t care of losing my amount paid to you. I already insisted for many people not take your connection.

If anybody who is responsible to resolve these issues and feeling some kind of responsibility to resolve customer issues, please do something. This is one of bad service I ever went through in last 15 years.

i think you people are so shameless that, even after 4 days and sending repeated email, you are not trying solve the issues, forget about solving rather don't have minimum sense to call and tell me if you are going solve.

I have been using tikona from past one n half years...and i must say this company provides one of the worst services all over india.They make fool of people and worst part their customer care people dont know how to talk.I am so much fed of this connection that i decided to get it disconnected.I have raised atlest 15 complaints for my disconnection, but they didnt do it, and will tell u that our executive will call in 24 hrs, but no call came till date.If there is any technical issue, no help is given..my internet services were down for whole one month, and they raised the bill also.what a fool they make..guys please dont go for this connection.u will cry, u will loose ur busininess .u will be helpless.go for vodofone, airtel, mts, tata.they are awesome.
TIKONA is one of the most hopeless service in India. I have raised my complaint 4 days ago 20 times talked with customer support talked with seniors authority but no resolution till date. TIKONA is among those who makes false promises

Tikona is the worlds worst company in terms of services i have ever experienced. I have 512 kbps plan . I already paid 3700 rs advance for 6 months. my internet was not working for 2 months. i have filled around 30 complaints of tikona but there was no response. i have sent many mails to tikona care, jnair but same result no response. I suggest every customer not use tikona or i[censored] want use it do not pay the money in advance.

Are you still a running company? Do you believe in customer satisfaction? Do you have any idea how are your agents and engineer's working? Are they capable enough of resolving issues?

I am a new customer and took tikona services just a week ago and I have told them that I have to do work from home and they promised me I will never face any issues so they proposed me a heavy usage and I took 50GB 2mbps plan for 900 rs/- With in 7 days I started facing issues with the network and I registered complaint about 48 hours ago and your agents promised me it will not take more than 8 hours to resolve this issue . BUT BUT BUT OMG! its 48 hours and its loss me more than 50K till now. First thing who is going to pay this 50K and second thing don't you understand the meaning of HIGH PRIORITY- that means action should have to taken with in 2 hours and problem should be resolved with in 8 hours as per your terms & conditions.

May I know why its not resolved its ****'ng 48 hours. I am running short of time, you guys are not taking things seriously and after wasting my whole time, your agent told me to wait another 24 hours. WTF are we waiting for ALIENS to resolve my issues.I don't feel tikona engineers are capable of resolving any issues they seems helpless and it could be a will issue too, if its please send your engineer and take this bloody connection off from my home and please give me the compensation amount. PAY ME what I have loss and take this connection off and I am going to post this on consumer forum and I will make sure I provide you the worst rating because you deserved. CONGRATS TIKONA you achieve it. YOU ARE THE WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND TECHNICAL SOLUTION PROVIDER. you don't deserve to exists in India. Wish I could tell this to your CEO because he should know what is going on.

Please take this connection off, PAY ME 50K right now, refund my amount and don't ever proposed your connection to any one who needs a serious network with out any latency. I worked for a company where HIGH PRIORITY means action should be taken immediately. your agents think your customer's are fool. let me tell you its not us its you.

If you have guts please include your Board of directors and please pass this email to your whole organisation.
