I got my ticona connection on 7th august,2011. My userid is [protected]. From 15th August,2011 the connection is too much slow. Even most of the times it is not able to open the login page.

I have complained to customer care twice, but did not get any fruitful assistance. Each time some people called me and told that some engineer will come to visit my place for the issue. But, no one has come still now (24-Aug-2011).

Now, I am feeling that I have cheated by ticona. I did not even get proper service equivalent to 1000 bucks which I have paid at the time of taking the connection.

Kindly tell what to do.

i subscribed the tikona BB449 plan from last 1 month, but I feel the company has no parents.I canot use the service in last 20 days. I am contacting the officer over Mobile phone but no one is responding the phone. So the company has a very poor service. my sincere advice to the authority kindly withdraw my connection by paying my security money.

    There are lot of mistakes in my Tikona bills of the last 2 months.

    1. My first bill got generated on 26-Jun-2011 (Bill Number B[protected]. In this bill, even though I have not got wifi router, 75 Rs (Recurring Charge: MOALLHO 75.00) has been charged for it.
    2. a) In my second bill on 15-Aug-2011 (Bill Number B[protected] also, even though I have not got the wifi router yet, again 75 Rs (Recurring Charge: MOALLHO 75.00) has been charged for it.
    b) The E-bill discount of 25 Rs is missing in this.
    c) Also, there is a late payment fees of Rs 25 mentioned in this. But I would like to bring to your notice that I had paid my first bill amount of Rs 12.13 well before the due date on 25-Aug-2011 itself (Transaction ID[protected].

    Please correct and send me the right bills.

      I have paid twice by mistake on the date 30.5.2011 Rs. 628.00 online from axis bank debit card. On the very next month I requested them to withdraw the connection by mail. They send me a mail stating that my connection is withdrawn on the 12.06.2011 and my outstanding bill is Rs. 502. I have again mailed them stating that to adjust the payment by mistake done by me and also refund the rest amount.

      Still they are asking for the payment. They are not adjusting the extra payment done by me. They are trying to harass me again and again. They not doing anything regarding this after several mails and remainders from me. They are not refunding the money even.

      Please Help.

          I am writing this as a complaint but a message to people who are planning to buy Tikona internet connection.

          I recently bought Tikona WiBro internet connection on 13 Aug 2011. I opted for 512 Kbps speed unlimited plan. But i never used to get more than 20KB/s download speed. To download MP3 songs of 5MB it used to disconnect 5-10 times. But if i test the internet speed in tikona website it always displays the speed as 540Kbps.

          If called to customercare they refer to the speed test in their website and never take any corrective actions or give solutions.

          One another thing is that the person i contacted to get the connection introduced himself as the manager and his name is Krishna contact no [protected] (you can see this number everywhere in Munnekollala are). He told me that Rs.1000 needs to be paid and this will be deducted from the monthly bills and there is no installation fee. But when contacted the customer care they told there will be a Rs.500 non refundable installation charge.

          Now i have a internet connection but it gives me 1 - 10 KB/s speed only but they named it as 512 Kbps unlimited plan and am supposed to be paying Rs. 699 every month for this "superb" Service.

          These people are mainly targetting the areas where no other service provider or very minimal number of service providers are there, mainly the outer suburb areas. Now i am planning to disconnect the service and go for some other service provider.

          So anybody opting for tikona services please think twice.

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            I have given a cheque of Rs 1102/- on 2nd of June to install Tikona Broad-band Services and plan is 499/- per month. On 8th of June they installed It and they have given user name & Password i,e [protected], On June 29th I called your customer care and told to Disconnect the net due to some connectivity problem, And One of the call centre Executive told me to sent a mail regarding the Disconnection of services i did the same, But on July 23th I received a bill of Rs:-650/- again I called the customer care and told them to disconnect the connection and they told me to send a mail again, I also shouted regarding this issue, I didn't use the connection after giving complaints, So One of your Executive came to my house on 29th july and taken all the devices after a gap of 2-3 days I started receiving phone call & Messages from this no :[protected] saying that "Your Tikona WI-Bro service bill of Rs.256 is overdue and pay it immediately" Daily they are calling me and they are also unable to answer my questions they will cut a call and another person calls me daily it became routine.. Again i have given a calls at-least 3-4 times call center regarding this issue they know only two words" Sorry for Inconvenience" & "Please stay on hold"One of your executive told me that the connection is not disconnected yet and told me to send a mail again..

            Am I looking like a fool to you tikona, Are you playing games with me ??

            TIKONA are Cheaters!!!Worst service, false assurance, weakest connectivity and street thugs turned salesmen/servicemen I concur with all this comments as tikona deserves it.

            your customer care is very poor service. I called the customer care for disconnection past 1 month.but they gave some unlogical excuses that we cant do anything about this matter.or call after some time our excecutive officer is busy right now.i have been trying to get rid of this connection but their customer care don't even bother to even reply back. I was trying to reach service agents/provider Mr.keshav jha no. [protected], he all stopped responding to my calls.he is not lift the phone and no responce. Please disconnect your service take all the devices or tell me the procedure to disconnect your service as soon as possible..

            I also called your customer care and told to Disconnect the net due to your transparecy in plans problem, , m having your Rs. 499 plan but you send me the fake bill. i didnt use the net but your bill saying that m using it 14 GB.             Please disconnect your service. it is the worst broadband plan i have ever had .please stop calling me and giving message this is the last & final warning..
            I requested you to disconnect my Tikona Broadband Connection A/c No:- [protected] Long back i, e on 29th of june itself, Till 23rd July No service engineer has come to my house & Disconnect the net on Repeated Phone call and mails too, On 23rd of july I called your customer-care & Even argued with at-least 3-4 person to Disconnect the net even-though they are rude in giving reply to me, Again on 25th or 26th one of your service engineer has come to my house and Disconnected the net and taken all the devices which belongs to Tikona Broadband, Now the problem is every-month I'm getting a bill from your tikona adding Rs:-80/- per month with a previous balance of Rs 800/- Again if i contact your call center regarding this, They are unable to answer my question & They behave very rudely, One Executive says that you have to pay only 200/- on that entire bill, Another says you have to make the whole payment, Another one says that no need to pay any amount, I already given a cheque of Rs 1102/- on june 3 only, I ask you people Why should i pay Rs 900/- after giving a cheque & that too I have requested you to Disconnect the net ? Am I responsible for that 1 month period your service engineer has not come to my house even after complaining ? Are you people trying to fool me in billing for Disconnected net ? I'm going to take this matter seriously if it got repeated again

              I have been trying to discontinue my services from the past 6 days since I have never used the service since the time of installation due to devices not working post installation. I called the Customer Service for help for atleast 20-25 times but no one was able to help. Everytime I made a call, I was told a different story. Hence, finally I gave up and wanted to discontinue my services at the earliest and get a refund (Rs.1047) for something I did not use. I was given a complaint # and was asked to draft a mail to the Tikona Customer Service. I did that and I got an email from the Tikona team saying that someone will assist me from their team. However nothing has been taken care of so far and I am pissed off big time.

              Please find below the snapshot of the mail that I drafted to cancel my service.

              effective immediately for which I have already registered a complaint

              discontinue with your services and want to get a refund of Rs.1047
              (chq no. 094607) which I did pay at the time of availing your service.
              I never used your service, therefore I shouldn't be paying for
              something which I haven't used except for the time when the connection
              was installed at my place.

                This is in continuation of my earlier complaints for Tikona service issues.
                I have being advice that due to change of Plan to ZMR2999 there is some technical issues & I need to open new user ID.
                On 16th Aug I have filled another form & submitted & accordingly new Use ID [protected] is created but till date the ID is not active & I am not able to use the service.
                When contacted customer service they told money is not yet receive hence the Id is not activated , but as per the advice given to me that the amount of my old ID [protected] will be transfered to new ID automatically.
                Again today when I contacted to cutomer service they told that the Amount of old Id can not be transfered & will be refunded & I need to make a fresh payment for new Id, it is rediculas , the Tikona customer service is fell to resolve their internal problem. I think this is the worst sevice I have received from any service provider as on date.
                request the nodel officer to look in to it & resolve the same immediatly.

                Its a pathetic after sales service from Tikona digital network, I was facing a login issue for which Tikon engineers could not find a solution. I have written mails to their customer care as well as nomber of complaint over phone but thier technicien not turn up to resolve my problem.

                Since last 5 days I daily call to their customer care & I get a standard reply that the problem will resolve today but today never come, after a frustration I am writting this feedback, Pls do not take connection from Tikona instead take any goverment broad band even they are better for service.

                  The salesperson from Tikona did not inform about additional charges for wireless internet services. The sales material advertises Tikona as " secured wireless broadband". The plans do not mention any charges for modem/ wireless connection, installation charges of Rs 500 is also charged.

                  What is provided is a wire connection, with "wireless service" costing another Rs 1,500 or an additional Rs 75 per month.

                  Tikona really believes in taking its customers for a ride, and expect them to take it lying down. No, it will not be tolerated anymore!!!!!

                  We are extremely dissatisfied with Tikona broadband services. Our complaint against each department is as listed under. Pls resolve at the earliest, or let me know the escalation procedure (appellate authority) address for proper escalation.


                  Sales
                  Misrepresentation - sold us wire connection when we had asked for wireless. Registered the wrong plan - BB 449 instead of BB 649 as asked for.Wireless connection costs another Rs 75 per month or Rs 1500 lifetime, which was not communicated at the time of buying.


                  Technical

                  Incorrect wiring causing inconvenience to other society members, who have complained the way the wiring has been done.

                  Customer service

                  No complaint resolution - inspite of several complaints for converting wire connection to wireless, only given time when we will receive call from concerned official. No calls received. Conflicting resolutions from customer officials, Mr Anand Bawale & Ms. Amruta. Extremely poor customer "service" causing inconvenience & harrassment.


                  Pls resolve at the earliest. I am simultaneously also approaching consumer court for damages. Note that no bill from Tikona will be entertained till the complaint is satisfactorily resolved.

                    Hi All,



                    This mail is to raise serious concerns about the technical service at Tikona. I had subscribed to Tikona broadband service on June 30th 2011 and at the time of installation the engineer said there is good connectivity (around 64%) at my place while placing the nano station. But, I find my internet keeps on dropping very frequently, i.e. the network shows unidentified network and APIPA addressing (169.x.x.x). The frequency of internet dropping has increased to a great extend since the last 2-3 weeks that I had to ask the Technical team for a permanent solution. The temporary solution that your technical team gives us is to reboot the modem, unplug the cable etc. These poor solutions/suggestions haven’t worked all the time. Internet was working well for the first 10 days after which all these problems came up.



                    I have opted for Tikona Broadband service even after seeing N no of negative reviews. Today, I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated at the treatment meted out to me. I have called up the technical support a good 5-8 times and the customer care officers inform each time that a technical engineer would be sent to my place to have investigate the problems. They even promise the timings when the engineer would contact me.

                    Nothing has happened even after 2-3 weeks of raising the complaint and after each call made at the technical support. I want to know if it’s the service that is worse or the whether your ISP has really low bandwidth to accommodate people.



                    I’m really sad that I may have to terminate this connection in less than 2 months.

                      I have tikona connection from Tikona Digital Networks Pvt. Ltd. On 5th Aug 2011 someone has stolen the Tikona modem from my building terrace. I have registered the FIR and emailed the scanned copy to [protected]@tikona.in. I have called them more than 20 times & emailed several times to get the New Modem of Tikona. But no-one ever came to my place to provide me new Tikona modem. Everytime customer service agent says that "Your complaint has been registered and our technical team will follow up with you.". No on from technical team called yet.

                        TIKONA Team is an absolute disaster right from the word go. Here's a snapshot of what i had gone through with these buggers.
                        1) A shabby sales guy comes home after umpteen calls to install the thing.
                        2) Post verification, engineer (another lousy fellow) comes just to discover his incapabilites of not handeling the MAC thing for him. Another engineer same evening somehow figured things out and it started.
                        3) I was happy as things were fine post that.
                        4) Needless to mention that happiness was short lived for 10 days only. Post which the internet stopped.
                        5) Now i call up the customer care, they give me an assurance of resolving things within 24 hrs.
                        6) An engineer called me in 24 hrs just to understand that the router was not working and it needs ot be replaced.
                        7) Today i get a call from a guy on field saying that i can reach you in 30 mins but i do not have the adapter as the COMPANY IS RUNNING SHORT OF stock for adapters.
                        8) Now, i could not hold myself at this and somehow trying to take my grudges out via this mail.

                        A tinch of westernisation in India tells us to be service oriented whatever company we are working with. However, these kind of companies CONSOLIDATES THE POINT OF TRUSTING THE BRAND AND NOT A NOVICE LIKE TIKONA. I had an option of getting it done via TATATEL but i was a fool to go for a very hopeless company called TIKONA. These people have not even published any of the Senior personnel's mail ID, all that they have is a generic customer care number and mail id wherein a consmer cannot even think of repeating his endless stories as if we are too free for all this.
                        At the outset, my intention was not to demean anybody but i did not have any choice left by this disastrous company.

                          tikona had assured for wireless connectivty for broadband connection. All the payment was also taken in advance with commitment that connection will be wireless. As agreed, my broadband connection is activated on 02.08.2011 but without wireless but with cable.

                          Till date I am following up with Tikona cistomer Care for activation of wireless connectivity but tikona is not taking any action on my call. not only yhe customer care but the Mubai nodal Officer is also not responding to the escalation grievances and my complaints. Neither there is any action nor any response to my grievance.

                          the matter may please be take up appropriately for justice to customer needs and action as deemed for defaulting the commitments given to customers.

                            Today, i m writing this complaint via my mobile because my tikona internet service not working.. from last 2 days. I have complaint to customer care even my problem not solved because of poor service of tikona. Nobody help me and not taking a responsibility.
                            What will happened about my bill...?
                            Why m i pay to tikona? b'coz i m not using net.

                            Service of tikona is very very poor. If you are going for a new connection of tikona then think about poor service.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I had subscribed for a Tikona connection at my residence GE 28- A ,SuperCity, Near singapore township , AB Road Dewas naka Indore (MP) on 08th April 2011,even before installation there was no network at my place but the sales guy (Mr.atit khare Mobile no. [protected], Exe. ID[protected] blufed me saying that there is network at my place and the connection will be installed in a day or two and took a cash of Rs.881, but no engineer came to installation. and told me over the phone that there is no network at my place and no connection would be installed.

                              Thereafter i requested for my refund 881 RS. and i was being told that i will get the same with in 30 days but now its 3 months and i have yet received any refund nor any one contacted me from tikona.

                              i have been visited the office of tikona broadband services but there is no proper response or answer given to me.

                              please guide me what to do next.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  Sir when I was taking Tikona connection they promised me that they will provide me service within 48 hours and that their product can be used with any device including iphone. But sir they denied this later on and did not provide me service even after calling them daily for ten days that also twice everyday.
                                  My user id is [protected]. I got Tikona connection on 26th, July 2011 and on 27th July 2011. I applied for a Wifi router. I didn't received the same even after ten days even after persuading by calling twice every day since then. Then I was also told that you cannot use it with your mobile phone on 5th of August, while I was kept with a different perception as I asked for the same while getting the connection and was replied affirmative.
                                  Sir I asked them to refund me my money back including the installation charges as they are neither giving me service nor the facilities and have also caused a lot of harassment to me by draining my energy and time, but they replied me negative.

                                  I have been fooled and cheated by Tikona people.
                                  As there was some black out issue of Tikona in my area, their marketing people gave me connection using fraudulent address and email id,
                                  Now even if there is no connectivity in my area they are generating bills and sending their recovery people to my home to collect the same.

                                  Please help me that what should I do to disconnect their service?

                                    I am existing user of tikona digital network.As i have taken a tikona connection before 5-6 months & that time they just provided me 2 pc connection at a time & further i just contact to customer care & applied for extra connection by paying RS.75/- extra p.m. they just gave the answer like one I.T. person will come and set up the wi-fi connection at your home but after that conversation i had talk with customer care for 2-3 times but all the times i just received the same answer & no one is to come at my home since last 1 month & i am getting lots of problem for connection.... On the one side they are not providing the service here & other side they just gave notice to us for late payment of internet bill. So why should we pay the bill if we are not getting the response.. all foolish executives giving the same answer & not completing the after sales service. Now i have only one way that to deactivate the service of tikona & try other once.

                                    Tikona is the cheater and fraud company. If you have any issue go to the site www.pgportal.gov.in. This site is run by Department of Telecommunication (DOT). DOT provides licences to the ISP to start the bussiness. Log your complaint in this site.

                                      My name is Girish Khandge tikona a/c no [protected]. This is with reference to my complaint no 1-[protected].
                                      I have disconnected the Tikona service on 28th July 2011 because as per my plan I am supposed to get the speed of 600 kbps, but I have never got this speed. Sometimes even worse just to get the tikona loging page I’ll have to wait for 15-20 minutes. This is not the speed they have shown in the demo and commitements made by tikona marketing guy.
                                      After complaining several times no solution has been done from Tikona’s side (Complaint no. 1-[protected]).
                                      I have paid yearly charges of Rs. 7168 and used tikona only for around 2 weeks I am facing this problem since beginning but after complaining many times no complain solution has been given.
                                      I want my money back without any deduction and I want to file a complaint against Tikona for false claim of speed and mental harassment. Even after disconnection they have not collected their instrument.

                                        Hi,

                                        My ordeal started on July 30, 2011 when my tikona internet somehow
                                        stopped working...my ordeal still continues...

                                        As I was away from home. My preganant wife had to call the tikona
                                        support for help. She called multiple times, troubleshooting was done
                                        but the issue was not resolved. An engineer was requested to come down
                                        to check. But the engineer didnot turn up on the designated day. Even
                                        after making several calls. In vain my wife called me telling that she
                                        has been calling to get the internet rectified. I was really pissed
                                        off..so I asked my to call up and tell to disconnect the connection.
                                        Also, from my side I wrote an email to customer care, for which till
                                        date I have note received a response.

                                        So, my wife gets a call from technical support that an engineer would
                                        come.So he turns up and check the connection. Goes to the terrace and
                                        comes back saying that someone has stolen your Device from the
                                        terrace. You will have to pay Rs 1500. My wife calls me and tell me
                                        the issue. Then she gets a call saying that an FIR has to be lodged
                                        and then we would have to pay Rs, 1500 also. She speaks to the Area
                                        Manager and he says that we would have to pay for getting the
                                        connection.

                                        Finding no option, My father-in-law goes to the police station. From
                                        the police station an enquiry is made and our apartment watchmen tells
                                        the police that there was a tikona persoal who had come to our
                                        builiding for some other customer had carried back a device. The
                                        police call up the person as his number was entered in the register.
                                        He says that he had taken our device and now is attending some
                                        relatives marriage and can only come on friday.


                                        So my questions to Tikona Company is: Please I do need the answer.
                                        This is a very serious issue.

                                        Whoes fault do you think this is Ours or Yours?
                                        All the suffering and mental trauma that my preganant wife had to go
                                        through becoz of your service. Is it Justified?
                                        How can a engineer take out a device without checking?
                                        How can a engineer not inform his Department that he took the device?
                                        What would have happened if we had filed a police complaint and this
                                        guy would have been picked up?
                                        Do you think we should continue with Tikona?
                                        Why dont I get a response when I wrote to customer care department? Do
                                        they trash the emails of the customers?
                                        When I login to Customer care portal. Why cant I see the details of
                                        the case? Just the ID of the case would not help me understand the
                                        status?
                                        Do you think Tikona is a customer centric company?
                                        Should I contact my Legal department and sue your company for service
                                        incompetence?
