I had used Tikona Internet 06 Months ago after that due to speed problem as per their request I had disconnected and I had done final settlement they collected the modem also after that I am getting bill every month even I sent the mail on August,22,2011. Then they given reply as below mail

I have done final settlement for Tikona as per your Tikona person(Rajesh) request . I have did final settlement payment on[protected], 149.24 /- through HDFC Bank( Request ID 1-[protected]). After that I had changed my house to some other place also. You people collected modem on[protected]. Then why did I get bills again.

I have terminated tikona account in the month of September for which i paid 3 months amount of Rs 3470 just with a weeks usage. This i did as i couldnt bear them crying and hauling that am liable to pay. Thats a different story.
But even after i made donations to them Yesterday i received sms and a mail from Tikona stating a bill amount of Rs. 1199.79 due.Account no.[protected]. User ID [protected].

I sincerely hope Tikona users who are tied up with this stupid service terminates it immediately and go for a trustworthy network.
Reasons:
1. They demand bill payment even before usage
2. Poor connectivity and customer service
3. They dont let to terminate the account withing the billing cycle. They delay so we would have to pay amount for the next billing cycle
4. They operate like a money laundering chit fund with gundas, calling every other day for money, dont care about customer service, even though you were with them for more than a year
5. There are more... Being furious, am not able to recall all my bad experience

In total this is a one of the worst internet service provider and am pretty sure will soon go down like Zylog Wifi broadband.

    i have taken tikona brodband before 6 month.for3 -4 month they give service not best but ok.but last 2 month i dont have connectivity.i give 10 complent for custermer care but they dont do anything.so i requsted for disconnection but they also not giving me that.i done 100 phone to cus care but they people are very bad.so i am very angree about that .please tell me solution .

    I have contacted tikona to disconnect my connection multiple times but they are not doing anything. There are multiple visits at my home for the fault diagnosis by tikona care engineers and they told me that i won't be able to get internet at my house. I had a call from junaid on 7th sept. From retention and he told me dat it will be done within a day but since then i havent got any call from them. I'm very upset how the things are going with tikona. They cant even provide average services to anyone yet they have been given a licence to provide internet in delhi. Its a shame that how this company has got licence.     My User ID is [protected]. I had disconnected this service but today my wife gets a threatening call from a lawyer saying we have to pay Rs. 500/- or else he will send a warrant.

    Can you please give me a contact ID in Tikona where I can send all my details to resolve this?

    This is my second Tikona connection as I shifted my residence. In my earlier connection (User ID [protected]) I had been cheated by the sales executive as he had taken cash for wireless router which was never delivered.

        Tikona is the cheater and fraud company. If you have any issue go to the site www.pgportal.gov.in. This site is run by Department of Telecommunication (DOT). DOT provides licences to the ISP to start the bussiness. Log your complaint in this site.

        The main objective of the portral is mentiotion below

        i) With an objective of speedy redressal, fast access and effective monitoring of grievances, DoT has implemented an integrated application system; based on Web technology (CPGRAMS) which primarily aims at submission of grievances by the Citizens from anywhere and any time (24 x 7) basis for instant and easy communication between DoT & Citizens.
        ii) The system facilitates generation o[censored]nique registration number upon the online submission of grievances from aggrieved citizens (to DoT) through internet using any Browser Interface.
        iii) The system provides the online facility to the citizen to monitor the progress of redressal process in respect of the grievance lodged by him.

          Dear Sir,

          I Would like to complaint for the very very poor service for Tikona Broadband.
          I bought tikona broadband connection 06-07 months prior & at that time as per plan my speed was 2000 kbps, it was quite good for me. Then I realise to make my plan to unlimited access to internet & I have changed the same 03 months prior. From the last 03 months I am fed up of this connection. Their customer care is very poor, that means when somebody would be needing the help regarding the internet, they would be able to help in next 24 hours & for getting line connected with customer care would take 02 hours approx.
          I Have given 20-30 complaints & was promised by customer care that they would send the engineer to check the fault, & no body came till date.
          If this would happen continuously, I would not be paying my current bill.
          Please help me as they are charging INR 700 per month & i am not using the internet more than of 20 hrs in month.

            I got the connection installed from Tikona today. I want some to help me as the person who came for installation stole my wrist watch.

            As mentioned above I requested a tikona connection on Monday 5th sep 2011 from Naredra through a flyer in my mail box. He collected 1000INR and told me that someone will come shortly and install the network/connection. Today 10thsep2011 a guy named Puneet as he told me his name was his no. [protected] came to install the connection and while exit took with him or stole my wrist watch which was on the table on which the lap top is. No one else cameto us.

            I called Tikona care to complain about this at [protected] and spoke to a guy named Farooq. He was so rude and was as if shouting on me. He denied to even listen to me far from help. He bluntly told me to go to the court.What the hell is it? do you teach your representatives to speak like that to a customer who calls complainig an activityof your employee. Damn it today is my first day with Tikona and the installation guy stole my wrist watch.There are reasons for me to be sure. Your customer service is rude with me and all on my first day. Farooq bluntly told me that he will not help me,a Tikona Customer, I can contact court. WHAT ARE U GUYS UPTO???
            I have yet not taken any legal option please suggest me what to do.

            Some one please call me,someone responsible I need some help as its your(Tikona) guy who installed and when theft was made.

            WHY WAS MY CONNECTION DISCONNECTED. WHO ASKED YOU TO CANCEL

            I noticed that from 12/09/2011 my Tikona connection is deactivated. When I called today i.e. on13/09/2011 to customer care they told me that account was canceled because I complained about what happened during installation. I have to now apply for new connection and pay the installation charges again. What is happening, I never requested to cancel the connection. I have just paid three days before for new connection. Why would I cancel it?

            (Please feel free to contact us on[protected] to provide us any feedback regarding our service. Our Customer Care associate will be glad to assist you) This is what you say. When I call your customer care they ask me to apply again and pay 1000INR again. 1.09 GB were consumed during 10th Sep 2011 to 12th Sep 2011. well I got the connection on 10nthSep and you cancelled it on 12thSep2011. I did not ask for refund as yet. I am asking why is my connection TERMINATED.


            Like this is really bad, your company disconnected me just because I complained about indecent behavior. I never requested to cancel I have just got new connection. Please reply soon as to what will be done I am sending this mail to your customer service([protected]@tikona.in) and to the appellate authority of your company. My only request is to, Please reactivate my account if not please let know why not. If not reactivated please help me refund. Please activate.

            If you cannot RE-INSTATE SERVICES please refund me. IF YOU CANNOT REFUND. REPLY IN WRITING THAT YOU HAVE TERMINATED MY ACCOUNT DUE TO SOME REASON<AND THAT YOU WILL NOT SEND ME ANY BILLS. I dont want to pay any thing else.

              I am using tikona connection [protected] since last one year. Connection owner is my elder brother, who is living in Pune. From last 5-6 months, I am getting bad service from tikona eventhough I have taken follow-up with customer and their engineer.Last one month, I was unable to use the service due to signal strength problem at my location.I called up customer care 7-8 times, also mail follow-up done but issue have not resolved.Ultimately I requested my elder brother Jagannath to send request to close the connection as I can not pay for bad service.Currently connection is suspended but I am getting message from tikona to pay bill for last month Aug2011. How a company can expect bill payment for which consumer have not got the proper service?

                My Name is Faishal Karim & i have Tikona care wirless broadband connection o[censored]nlimited 649 & I pay everymonth Rs. 715.85. I requested to transfer my connection from 28th of Aug. They asked me to send the scan copy of rent agreement of my new address which is N-59, Flat no 201, Abul Fazal-1, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi-110025 however my old address was, C:41, 1st Floor, Shaheen Bagh, New Delhi. Both the address was nearby still they are unable to transfer my connection.
                They asked me mail it twice once at [protected]@tikona.in, then again another customer executive asked me to mail at nodal.[protected]@tikona.in.Still noone is either calling me or replying me.They first suggested that after sending the mail it takes around 48 hours to transfer my connection with a charge of Rs250.However please help me no connection yet and still I have to pay for the bill of this period.

                  Hello,
                  I have used tikona for about 6 months.The mode of payment which they asked me was to drop cheques in the atm drop boxes. The first 2 months, i dint face any problem. But a month after that, i got a call from the customer care saying that they dint receive the payment. Since then they disconnected my service. When i told them that i paid them as the same way that i do every month, they asked me for my bank account statement as a proof for my payment. As instructed, i gave it to them. They said that my problem would be rectified. But even for the next payment it happened the same. Again i submitted another statement and their reply was the same, that my problem would be rectified. Since i was not satisfied with their service, i made a request for the disconnection of my service. They said they would disconnect within a week. But i dint receive any calls in 15 days, so i called them again. They gave me the same reply once again, asked me to wait for one more week.
                  They made me wait for another 10 days, by this time my bill for another month was sent to me. They have disconnected my service for this whole month and they charged me with a bill even though they disconnected my service. This is the third month that i got a bill, now my total amount is 2000 rupees. Now they demand that for their equipment to be removed, i.e for these billings to be stopped i have to pay them the amount so that i wont be charged with any money from the next month. Inspite of my request for disconnection, because of their negligence to act upon it, now im the person who has to suffer for that. But why should i pay, when my account has not been active.!!!! This absolute scam. Please help me to find a way out of it.

                    We inquired for a Tikona broadband connection with the following details on June 2011.
                    Quaterly Plan (3Months) : Rs.2650 + 250 Installation.
                    We negotiated on this above plan and the field engineer Naveen said that the installation fees is waived off and it is enough to pay Rs.2650 to get the plan activated and get the connection.
                    We paid the money Rs.2650 and got the receipt.

                    This is where all the problems started.
                    After taking the money the tikona was installed and account was activated.
                    There were lot of speed related issues and we had open multiple tickets and most them were closed by Tikona without calling us, but they updated the ticket with some random resolution and closed it by themselves.

                    The headache started after end of second month.
                    One fine day the internet stopped working and was showing that the account has been deactivated. We called up customer care and they said that they have received only Rs.2000 and that is the reason the account has been disconnected.
                    We spent a week trying to callback the field engineer and tikona customer care to find where the Rs.650 went and finally we found that the Naveens’ manger has absconded with collected amount. Then we requested to file on Naveen and his manager an FIR and later the Rs.650 was paid to tikona by people incharge and it showed up in the account.

                    But unfortuately, the account stayed inactive and we already have disconnected internet for more than a week. Customer care is saying that they do not have any offers to wave off the installation charges and we need to pay the installation charges again for this to work. When we took the connection, we went for this because the field engineer said that there is no installation charges.

                    Now if we call the customer care, again regarding the billing, they are sending some bill with different amount and asking for another Rs.800 rupees to activate the account which I don’t understand why? Even the people in customer care is unable to explain the bill and keep asking for 2 day , 3 days time and we are at 2nd week with disconnected internet.

                    I paid for 3 months internet connection with unlimited plan but they have disconnected it with 2 months. I would like them to activate this connection back and I want to use it for the next one month without paying anything extra as I have paid them what they asked before getting the connection. If their engineer cheats, I cannot spend my money to support tikona. Its their headache, I want my connection back. Also they need to calculate the number of days where there was disconnected internet connection and provide me the complete 1 month usage from the time they reactivate it.

                    If this is not going to happen or if I do not get a proper response I am going to file legal actions against the Tikona and engineers for taking the money and denying service to sue their broadband as they are cheating the public like this.

                    We have called the tikona customer care more than 50 times and they are useless crap.

                    Please help me resolve this dispute, if they keep on cheating, suggest me how do I get a court stay order to stop on Tikona Broadband services being used in Bangalore. Thank You.

                    Im Ajay, another frustrated user that never got the connection and paid up Rs 1267 in installation charges. Its been 4 months since, May 27, 2011.
                    Their office is opposite Pizza Hut, a lane with TVS motors workshop, dead end building.

                    Have you spoken to a lawyer? How do you plan to get the money back?, I saw a list of 101 Refunds that needed to be processed at their office, approx Rs. 1.3 L. plz reach me at [protected]@gmail.com, lets discuss options.

                      I took Tikona Internet connection on 8 August 2011. The first payment I made is of Rs. 1653.

                      Tikona has CB499 plan, which means minimum rental of Rs. 499, speed 2 Mbps and 5GB usage free. I[censored]sage exceeds 5GB then then Rs 0.1/ MB charge is applicable and if bill crosses Rs. 999 then no extra charge will be applied. That means maximum guaranteed bill of Rs. 999 with unlimited usage.

                      So my first payment include (Rs. 999 [maximum guaranteed bill] + Rs. 500 [installation charges] + Service Tax).

                      I have receipt of first payment with application number [protected]. But despite of giving first month charge in advance (part of first payment), Tikona charged me Rs. 1323. They included additional charges like Rs. 1500 for Wifi router which I have not taken (That means I cancelled Router request) + Rs. 500 installation charges.

                      Rs. 1500 for router should not be charge as Wifi router is not installed at my place (I didn’t opt for Wifi router). Also Rs. 500 installation charge is not applicable as this is already a part of my first payment. Also bill shows that my payment received by them is Rs. 1000. This is absolutely wrong as I paid Rs. 1653

                      This bill duration is from 8 August 2011 to 14 August 2011 and due date is 2 September 5, 2011. I logged complain on 19 August 2011 regarding this wrong bill and there after calling every day to Tikona Service Center [protected]. The only response I get from customer executive is “I have forwarded you complain, issue will be resolve within 24 hours”. But it never happened. My Due Date is crossed. Now who is responsible for extra charges? How can pay this wrong bill? Tikona have not yet answered me this. Finally the day come when my bill will overshoot and they will disconnect my account.


                      But yes on due date 2 September 2011 I got call from tikona billing department innocently asking me ‘Sir your due date is reached. How would you like to pay your bill?’ I explained him about my bill complain then he repeated the line by customer executive “I have forwarded you complain, issue will be resolve within 24 hours”…

                        I have taken the Tikona wi bro connection for Rs.799 plan for unlimited 750 kbps before two months,however I am getting the speed of only 254 kbps which is affecting my work.I called the customer service several times but they are unable to resolve my issue.they are unable to get any resolution on this.

                        they have given me the wrong commitment of providing the 750 kbps speed at Rs.799 at the time of providing the service.I have the pamplet for this which is the proof.

                        can you please help me to take action on this issue.

                          Hello friends tikona is one [censored]d company, dont even think of installing i Paid advance of 1653 and the next day i got a problem with the net. It doesnt work at all, its been two weeks and i have been facing problem every alternate day. i have given complaint to their nodal office but yet the problem is not solved and every time you call the customer care they are down with system..What kind of [censored]ing service they provide..

                          Tikona Broadband — Tikona worst service

                          hello,
                          My name is Madhavi Kulkarni from Pune and my user I d is [protected]. I have taken Tikona CB 299 plan on 14/6/2010 by paying 500/- installation charges. It any how worked for 2 days at very slow speed. Thereafter it has not been working and lon-in page is not displayed and shows "internet explore cannot display web-page". Since 19 th June 2010 I have been making complaints to the customer care of Tikona over their Toll free number and I talked to customer care officers viz pooja, Dilip, Archin, Rahul etc and every time they assured that my complaint was forwarded under Complaint No.[protected] and their engineer would arrive at residence and problem would be resolved shortly. However neither their Engineer has arrived nor the problem is solved. If my problem is not solved immediately I will be constrained to approach consumer forum against Tikona for refund of money and also for damages for the mental agony

                          I am tikona broad band user and i would like to share my experience.
                          TIKONA BROAD BAND SERVICE IS PATHETIC, AWFUL.
                          People first send the bill and then disconnect the service (broad band connection)
                          Had been to Tikona Office spoke to N number of people, assured all false promises but nothing works

                          If wind blows or even if it drizzles I lose the connection. I managed for a while, paid their bills even though the bill was never sent or received.
                          Walked up to their door steps explained, the service was active for a week. One of the Tikona officials asked me to ignore the bill (which was sent by SMS) and now they have disconnected the connection.

                          However, I still liked their practice of first disconnecting the connection and then sending the bill.

                          When do you think, shall be able to provide improved service as per your commitment. Since instalation on 16-july-2010, very bad service, why ? Pl give your confirmation to avoid further confusion AND do not mail any bill till you provide proper service.Sorry but Thanks.

                            Dear sir,

                            Tikona digital network ltd. Is the worst service provider as they have no respect for their customers.

                            First they came to home and shown me false demo and convinced me to get their connection. When I gave them certain amount of cheque and amount has been debited by them. After than their engineer came twice and ask there is no network availability in my area. They betrayed me and asked I will get refund. It has been since last 4 and half month I am trying for my refund and they have not responded yet.

                            In between they issued me refund cheque and that cheque was of wrong name. Now I am fighting for my money and already have called more than 40 times as well as emailed more than 46 times.

                            Please help me to get back my money because it is so panic to contact them every time.

                            I would like to bring to your notice that I have not yet received my refund cheque.

                            I had subscribed for Tikona broadband services in May.

                            I was promised installation of services in 2 days, which did not happen.

                            It was for more than 10 days that the services were not installed at my place.

                            Owing to this, I had cancelled my subscription and had demanded for the refund of the amount paid.

                            This was approved.

                            I received mails from the Customer Care notifying me that the cheque could not be delivered.

                            I agree to that fact since I live in a rented apartment, it could have been possible that no one was available at the time the courier was delivered.

                            I communicated with Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Nodal Officer, Pune, asking him to send the cheque to my office address instead of my residence address.

                            He agreed to it and he had asked me to drop a mail from my official mail id, mentioning my office address and I was assured of the delivery of the cheque to my office.

                            This has not yet happened.

                            On the contrary, inspite of repeated mails to the Nodal officer, there has no reply to my mails.

                            I also contacted the Customer Care regarding the same, quoting the Nodal Docket no. provided to me by the nodal officer.

                            The Nodal Docket no is: 1-[protected]

                            For your reference, I have attached herewith this last of the mail communication.

                            Kindly look into this matter and do the needful.

                            I do not want to take this matter into the Consumer Forum and hence I seek your intervention.

                              No Usage Still Bill Generated
                              'Dear Customer Care,

                              The usage of the services haven't been started yet and I am facing problems with Tikona Digital Networks.

                              I had booked the Tikona Wi Bro services in month of March'11 with plan of Rs.661/-, which was naturally paid in advance.

                              When the engineer(Abhijit) came to my site, it was detected that the port of machine was not UP and I needed to repair it.

                              I checked the port and it was working fine at that time, then the engineer( was called again, he again detected that the port was DOWN. He logged into other machine with ID password which was not mine and was temporary.
                              It was detected by your billing team that the services have been enabled and which I din't knew as my laptop LAN port is still DOWN.

                              When I received bill today, I was shocked with the whole scenario.

                              Since I have not used the internet service I do not have my Subscriber ID.

                              Request you to please understand that there have been no usage so please stop the billing and make it Zero as I am still to surf/browse/download through Tikona Wi-Bro Services.

                              The above complaint is made on the official site and e-mail id of Tikona,[protected]@tikona.in, nodal.[protected]@tikona.in, but there has been no reply from them that a reverse transaction has been made.

                              Please look into the above case where in fraudulently the money is been charged to the customer and in return no service is provided.'

                              The above complaint has been made on 26th April 2011 and later there were regular bill generations on my name which I had to explain to every Customer Care person then there was reversal of amount. Request has been made many a times to disconnect the services to avoid further such scenes.
                              I HEREBY FORMALLY COMMUNICATE TO DISCONNECT THE INTERNET SERVICES PROVIDED TO ME FROM IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND REVERSE THE BILL OF RS.268.00 (AS COMMUNICATED BY CUSTOMER CARE PERSON TODAY).
                              The lady talking to me on call today at 16:06 hrs was rude and not at all a "Customer Caring" person. When threatened to complain in Consumer Court, there as a straight go ahead from her which shows her attitude to the Customer as well as the Govt body.

                              Please do the needfull in helping me out.

                              I took tikona service in june 2010 and then disconnected it in july 2011, paying all the dues for the time i had used the service.

                              post that few months down the line, people from tikona started calling me that i have to pay bills of 3000/-.

                              it comes out that they never disconnected and still charged me.

                              now even after writing more than 20-30 emails to Customer care / Nodal officer vikas bhosale, i still get the same calls even after more than ONE YEAR.

                              this is september 2011 and i am still getting rude calls from pathetic lady customer care reps saying i have to pay bill.

                              I have been facing the following issues since the last 4 months from tikona. There have been repeated attempts to clear these, but every time I get the same issue again and I am not able to understand the senior management is doing to resolve this, other than mailing me a standard mail

                              I had a bill of 136 in first month which i paid
                              After than I put my acc on suspension, so I did not use any service since August 2010 till date.
                              After this I get a bill asking me to pay the bill (which is WRONG)
                              Then I lodge a complaint and I get a call after a month, that the issue has been resolved and the bill was wrong and it will be reverted.
                              After this more problem from your side : I get a new bill of 661/- (Mind it, that I have not resumed any service)
                              I keep getting SMS and mails asking me to pay bills whereas I have now moved to new location and asked to disconnect the service.'
                              During all this time I have been mailing Vikas Bhosale, and I never get a simple call from this guy
                              TILL DATE THIS IS NOT RESOLVED.

                              I need to know who is the CEO of this company and would like this to go his mail box.

                                This is regarding the poor service and no response to customer complaints. I have the Tikona broadband connection for my home use. On 30th July I gave a complaint to the customer care regarding non functionality of the internet connection. The assured me that some one will come to my place and fix it out. I waited for 2-3 days and nothing happened. I again called up and logged a complaint but again no response. Its now been almost 1 month and no action has been taken to resolve the issue. I even mailed about the issue to the Nodal Manager but got no response. After calling and mailing for almost 20-25 times when nothing happened, I told them to disconnect the service but that too never happened and suddenly at the end of the month I have got a bill for the service that i have have not used.
                                I would request Tikona staffs to disconnect the service and return the security amount.

                                  Hi , Good evening . I am a user of Tikona Broad band Since 03.07.11 having the plan of 299 ( 2mbps ) domestic plan. Till now I am accessing just 3 to 4 times due to Connection Problem . I had given a Complain since 19th July, but till now I can’t access Net due to problem from AP( access Point ) . Since 10days it is going on , your staff are coming to me & Check out everything & finally they leave out , saying that Complain already given our NOC for Signal Problem . I had talk with your Customer care [protected] five to six times in 10days . somebody says your Complain is Closed on 24th July & some says process is going on .Also call is coming from [protected] & saying we are trying .

                                  It is a very Obnoxious thing , that Tikona Broad band is not able to give the service from 10 days . If not able then refund my deposit Amount .Kindly Co-operate for same or Sort out the Problem ASAP.

                                  i agree with it they said that they will give high speed internet but in return it is slower than i thought.in the plan they said that we will have unlimited download of music, video, etc.but there is nothing.even when i paid the bill amount they say that i haven't paid the bill amount, they haven't given any confirmation that i have paid i have no faith in tikona .if still the problem is not solved i would like to discontinue it and take some other connection.

                                    I had applied for tikona Wi bro service last year but due to technical unfeasibility, they did not install and I got full refund for the deposit. That was about a year back.

                                    Two days back I got a bill in my name an on my address stating that I am using their service. It also stated that my last bill generated was in May 2011. I tried to contact tikona care to sort out the issue but got the standard reply that the servers are down and cant retrive the data. Then I emailed the Nodal officer but havent got any reply till now. Today I called up tikona care multiple times, but it is not connecting to customer care saying all the executives are busy.

                                    I think Tikona is engaging in some kind of identity fraud where they are using my identity to provide service to someone else, like it is done in telcom industry. What do I do?

                                      This is to inform you that my current broadband service provider Tikona Wi-Bro services has been delivering very poor internet speed for the past 2 weeks and even after a number of calls to their Costumer Care there has been absolutely no solution to my problem.The people out there in the Costumer care of this company has got no knowledge about the solutions to the problem that I am facing and each time on my complaint they repeatedly put the blame on the rules set by TRAI over the use of Internet.

                                      The plan which I purchased from Tikona Wi-Bro Services is the Rs.649 Unlimited Plan providing 600kbps speed.I have never faced this type problem in the starting 2 months of my connection and now on complaing at their costumer care they are giving an excuse that ' The internet speed we get depends upon our luck '.

                                      Kindly look into the matter and take some strict action against this problem.

                                        i have booked a complaint on 31 july 2011 but there is no response from technical support team as of 24 july 2011. the most worst customer support team it is. i called more than ten times the customer support team and the local dealer. but there is no solution for the problem. see the attachment still it is in progress.
