I signed up for Tikona wireless online on Nov. 18th, which included payment for installation, service, and wireless. I received email confirmation of the account, but it mentioned that my password would be sent separately via SMS. I never received the SMS, and 4 days later I had to change my mobile number (I was using a temporary wireless SIM as I had just moved to the country). I followed their procedure to change my registered mobile number, but still today this change has not gone into effect (Nov. 26th). I have requested the password to be resent via SMS from both phones, I have tried putting my old SIM back into my phone, I have called their customer service line 10 times, each time being told that my password would either be sent via email or SMS. I have yet to receive an SMS with my password. The only email I received simply said to send an SMS, which I had already done.

I now have the service installed, but am still not able to use it because I don't have a password. The intstallation tech was not able to tell me my password, and no customer service reps were abel to tell me either. I have now spent hours of my time on hold or speaking with customer service representatives and am completely fed up.

I have never before purchased a service that I was completely unable to use. I am completely dissatisfied with Tikona and their service.

I have now been trying to cancel my account for over an hour. I am put on hold for over 10 minutes, then told I need to speak to someone else which means another 10 minutes on hold, etc etc. Then when I finally get to the proper representative and tell them I need to cancel my service, they hang up on me. I have been hung up on 3 times while trying to cancel. Tikona should have their business license revoked, as this is the worst joke of a "business" I have ever experienced.

    I am a customer of Tikona Wi-Bro services.
    My subscriber id is [protected]
    I have shifted from my old address in Pune to Mumbai recently.
    When I shifted I contacted the custmer care and asked for disconnection of my connection. They suggested me that I need not disconnect my present connection and that I can use the same in Mumbai.
    As per the advice of the customer care executive I sent a mail to [protected]@tikona.in with the scan of my present address proof on 14th Novermber 2011.
    On 15th November 2011, i received a mail from Vikas P from tikona customer care informing me that the request has been registered with the docket number 1-[protected] and that the concerned department will get in touch with me within 48 hours. When I got no response for 72 hours, I called the customer care on 18th November 2011 and spoke to Mr Yogesh
    He informed me that a service execeutive will call me within 48 hours and that his supervisor will call me within 2 hours. None of which happened. The earlier docket was closed with no explaination and a new one 1-[protected] was opened without informing me. Again no response wsa received. On 21st November 2011 I called the customer care and I was informed that the action will be taken within 24 hours.
    I also sent a mail to the nodal officer maharastra at nodal.[protected]@tikona.in to inform him about the situation. I got a call from Mr. Sachin at the nodal office and he said that he has concerned the request to the concerned department with docket id 1-[protected] and that there would be a response from the depeartment on an immediate basis. When again there was no response I sent another mail to the nodal officer on 22nd November and also called the nodal office.
    I talked to Ms. Amritha at the nodal office and she said that action will be taken within 24 hours. The earlier docket was closed and another docket was regiestered 1-[protected]. Till now no calls have been received and none of the customer care officials are doing anything but raising dockets and closing them without any explaination.
    Due to the mistake of the customer care I also have to pay the bill for services without getting any internet connection.
    Please look into this matter and I request tikona to give me an explaination for the closed dockets and disregard to customer service.

    Tikona Wi-bro Services — DEFICIENCY OF SERVICES

    The Company provided internet service to me on 7th July, 2010 with an offer to provide anti virus free installation for one year. From 12th July, 2010 onwards I am requesting the Company Customer Care through emails and over phone, but in vain. Till the date my problem not resolved for which I lost huge data from my PC and now I have to format my PC.

      I am a new Tikona Broadband customer and got my services activated yesterday (21st Nov 2011). As per my current PLAN-ZMR2999 I should get downloading speed of atleast 200-250kbps but I am just getting 20 Kbps. When I called the customer care, they are not at all helpful, moreover they think the customer is dumb. I myself work in the Telecom industry and understand the technicalities. I had to call the customer care yesterday 4 times consecutively as all my calls were deliberately disconnected as they did not have any solution to my problem.

      When I asked to transfer the call to their Supervisor I was told there is no Manager/Supervisor. I fail to understand how TIKONA is running its business. As per them my pc and Laptop is not working properly, as in their system they are showing good speed, how disgusting.

      When I asked them to send some technician to my place to check I was told that "Everything is fine from our end, you need to check your pc/Laptop/Firewall yourself"

      They are so annoying and their cold attitude will very soon reflect in the downfall of the company.

      Tikona Broadband Service — Disgusting service from Tikona

      Hi,



      I am customer of Tikona from last 1 year, my account number is [protected].



      I am working as sr. software engineer in CGI company in Mumbai and far often I work from home, so I want 24*7 connectivity.



      My internet is down from last 3 days and I have called to customer care for around 15-20 times (you can check record to confirm the same). But my problem is not resolved yet, and no one has attend to my complaint L



      Every time I am getting same reply from them that within 30 mins you will get call from our technical guy and your problem will be resolved, but I did not get a single call.

      I have never seen such a worst service from any of the service provider,



      I always thought that government service is always worst, but now I can say every one that TIKONA service is worst than government department.

      This is not the happened for first time, first of all whenever we call to customer care of TIKONA, I have to wait for 15 mins to talk to officer,



      Yesterday I called customer care from morning 8 to evening 8, every half an hour.

      How bad service :(

      Please update me if you don't have a solution to my problem then I find some other wayout.
      It seems as if I am reading a comment by a 10 year old boy who thinks if the speed is showing up in tikona website implies the customer is getting that speed, but let me correct you thats not the case. I am not going to take this issue so lightly and will do whatever I could in order to get my issue resolved, even if I am required to take legal help I will not shy away.

      Tikona tech did visit my place yesterday and ran a speed test at the Tikona speed test portal which apparently showed good results (As always). I asked them to run speed test on any public site, watch any video on you tube or download any song from any website which will make the picture more clear. Thereafter they did the same and the results showed actual downloading speed as 15 kbps.

      I told them, as per my plan ZMR2999, I should get a min downloading speed of 200kbps and they agreed to it and suspected a problem somewhere with TIKONA.

      Mr. Sunil Kumar(TL/Head) intervened and was on call with Mr. Sanjay (on site Tech). Upon request from Mr. Sunil, the tech mailed the screen-shot of downloading a song at 15 kbps download speed.

      He asked Sanjay(tech) if the Firewall was on or the Antivirus was installed, he even asked to operate my system on Safe Mode...

      Looked as if he was justifying that it was my PC that was faulty and not their network.

      Later Mr. Sunil took over my system via Team viewer to see for himself and again ran speed test (which was bound to give good results). He was least bothered to see actual downloading speed I was getting. Downloading a song took around 10 min, you tube video was just buffering, buffering and buffering. When I told him about the same he claimed "YouTube and songs downloading site mein kuch prob hogi". Hahaha..

      Now please tel me if thats acceptable to you...!!!

      Lastly when he had nothing for self defense he surrendered by saying that this (15 kbps) is the best possible speed you will get.

      Hereby I request TIKONA to either give me in writing that anyone using this plan (ZMR2999-2mbps plan) is liable to get 15 kbps as the best possible downloading speed OR just refund my money and disconnect my services ASAP.

      Tikona — disgusting service

      i had applied for tikona wi bro service some 5-6 months back.. i paid advanced rs.1650. from last 5-6months i am paying rs.75 extra for the wi bro device which i dont have. i have complaint the customer service executives and also the nodal officer but i dint get any positive response from there. disgusting service.

        This is Hemant Rai, I had apply for new connection last month ( sep first week) which i have cancled on next day due to miss communication through sales person.
        I had deposit 1000 Rs cash on sep first weak, which i asked for refund, no the same today to informed senior authority & next day to customer care
        which i did not get till now, 2 and half month has already gone i had intimate to customer care but i didn't get relevant reply i had mark a mail to customer care many of time but did they not help me

          At night time internet is not even connecting and as per plan i should get speed 2M but speed is too slow.So i want to disconnect my service and want my money back.I am using tikona service for last 15 to 20 days and i have logged atleast 10 compalints but theses people are not able to resolve my issues.

              This is pankaj Mehta, I Just 28 Days Back I gave request @ 13 Oct.For new Tickona wireless Connection 19 oct.. nobody Came for Setup my New connection on MY home
              They Continues Told Me that With 24 hr.. our exceutive Will Come And set up You Account Please Have patience but Again i wait @ days and i gav a request for canceling my account

              After Gave this request They Are Continues Telling Me That we will setup your Account @ your home and i m contonues telling him that please rrefund My Money
              But There Is no response That Side. they Are Making Fool to all people I request That please Cancel It license Because they Are making fol to Many peoples and selling their product with wrong commitment.. they banned on this company and stop selling their product

                Hi,

                I have already sent you so many mails for the termination of my connection also paid the outstanding amount till my connection was working fine. After getting my connection down by 15 August 2011, you did not respond to my any complaint made in your customer care.

                After getting frustrated I have given you the request for the cancellation of my connection but still my bill is getting generated and collection people are disturbing us like anything. If you are not able to perform the termination of my connection even after giving many cancellation requests to your customer care & nodal officer then it is the inefficiency of your customer care not my problem.

                So please insure that my connection has been terminated and I should not receive any more call from your collection department to bother us....Thanks.

                Hi,

                I subscribed for the TIKONA broadband this month only. Previously I was having the Airtel connection. Just on their assurance of good service and hig speed of the Internet, I discontinued the Airtel conection and subscribed this called Tikona. I was rarely able to connect to internet in the night timings and facing the problems in the day time as well.

                They have mentioned a custom care number that rarely connects and when connected no-one picks up the phone. The one who has installed the internet on my machine, never take my call serously and most of the time, his number is unavailable.

                This is creating unnecessary head-ache to me. I want the connection to be removed and want my money back (500/- Rs. they took as installation charge). Even if the money is not back, I want the connection to be removed.

                Any help will be highly appreciated.

                VERY BAD Customer Service. What do these people think??? They sell and while selling they fall at your feet... After that no one turns back... I have spent 6-8 std calls to their customer service each 15 minutes and over and all they come up with is a 48 hour resolution and after 5 days, there is still no resolution.

                Non technical people (rather illiterate people) call themselves Technical Executives.. Executives..?? they dont deserve to be even peons..

                They do not know technical stuff.. no knowledge of networking.. and know just 2 things: "Sorry" & "I understand the inconvenience".. bloody [censored]s.. people..

                I spoke to 8 different people.. all [censored]in illiterates.. no idea what they are doing.. what they are saying.. DUMB [censored]S..

                I made a complaint that I have a slow connection before 2 days. A technical guy assured that they will send a technician before 8 PM. But they never turned up. Now it is about 3 days no one came up for the service.

                Their speed may show up-to 2MBPS but there lot of dropouts.

                They have really very very poor service. These guys do not have enough knowledge in technical.

                On the time of setup, the sales guy told that I will not get bill for the first 2 months as I paid Rs.1000. But on requesting for refund they refused as they have installation charges......................

                Please see my mail thoroughly:
                1) I have written on 2 Sep 2011 that "You are kindly requested to terminate my services since my connection is down. Also, share the details of outstanding amount till my service was working so that I can pay accordingly". Why did you log the complaint for termination on 08 Oct 2011. This is the delay in processing the request from your side.
                2) My connection was down since 24 August 2011, It was never restored after that and after doing several followups I have sent you the mail for the disconnection of my services. So why there is a bill payable after 24 August 2011.And till the time i used your service, I have made the payment without any delay.
                3) All delay has been made from your side for the disconnection of my services. Now you have reverted and logged my complain because I have sent you 7 reminder mails and put the complaint on the public forum otherwise this billing would have been going on for the years if I was not interested in doing the proper disconnection.
                4) Please note, I have made all the necessary payment to Tikona till the period it was valid. Now no further outstanding is there on me. You have given the service to me thanks for that and thanks for your support to close this case now.

                  I have moved from my previous rented apartment (A-303, Gokul Annexxe, Agrwal Gardens, Gokul Township, Virar(W)) to a new apartment (C-304, Samarpan - I, Gokul Township, Virar). I had Tikona WiBro connection at my previous apartment, and after moving to the new apartment I requested the shifting of the connection to the new address. I was asked to provide scanned copy of my rent agreement with the new and old address details. I provided the details and gave a call to the customer care as well to notify about the same. I was told that the connection will get moved within 48 hrs. But no action has been taken till now. Because of there inaction my bill of this cycle also get generated. I was told that without paying the bill your connection will not be moved. Though I had not used the connection but still I was made to pay the bill. After the payment of the bill, I again followed up with the customer care, but all I got was 48 hrs repsonse, with no action. I have been calling them twice daily but sitll no effect on them.
                  I want to file a complaint against the firm for promising things which they cannot deliver.

                  Tikona Digital Networks — Refund Pending from Tikona Digital Networks

                  Hi,

                  I have applied for the broadband services provided by Tikona Digital Networks (herein referred to as a Service Provider) on 6th Jan paying an advance of INR 3970 (6 months subscription), but not being satisfied with the quality of the service disconnected the same on 13th Feb and so a refund is due from them. I have received a confirmation from their side that the refund is approved and received the cheque long back with an Incorrect Name so I have asked for a rectification and now it has been more than three months that I have not received the revised cheque.

                  Every communication I had with them after that they respond to my mail saying (Refer below):

                  They told me that deactivation involves a 15 day process.
                  I said okay... Sure.

                    I got the connection on 24-aug-2011(Billing Account Number:[protected] but installation not completed due to technician did have that much knowledge to resolve the problem.

                    The Installation completed on 26-aug-2011 after following continuously two day.

                    After installation I observed internet speed is low. I communicated to sales person and customer care center; the technician came to me at 8 pm (in night) and shifted the device location. But I did get the speed. And technician told me that “today it’s not possible I will come tomorrow and solve the problem” and he went.

                    Next day, I communicated to the technician to come and resolve the problem. Technician said in [censored]ole Nagar device is not capturing the signal, wait for two day Tikona has installing the new tower near to the [censored]ole nagar, after completing the installation you will get the proper speed.

                    After two day I communicated to technician, he did not pick my call, then I communicated to sales person he given me office no which in wanwadi area.

                    I communicated to the wanwadi office, they said me the problem is “the corporator is allowing us to inter in sangvi area; we have some problems with corporator so we can’t resolve your problem now.

                    Then I communicated to customer care to disconnect the service.

                    On 19-sep-2010, I received the first bill as below.

                    Recurring charges 192.9
                    Usage charges 108.39
                    Installations Fees 500.00
                    Taxes 82.53
                    Deposits 300.00

                    Total 1183.82

                    In above bill tikona has added following charges

                    1. one time charges are 500 (Installation is done properly then also I have to pay these charges)

                    2. Deposits 300. (I discontinuing your service then why should I give deposits)

                    If I remove the above charges the amount will be 383.82 that much I used, in this usage also most of the to connect and disconnect the modem and trials,

                    I many time told to customer care center that I ready to pay Rs 383.82 but they said that system is not allowing, but they are agreeing my above points.

                          Hi , My tikona acc id is [protected] and started using Broadband connection since August. The connection speed was pathetic and inconsistent. I requested multiple times to customer care but of no use and so I requested for discconection.

                          I called almost 10-12 times on customer care for disconnection but they said the system is down and they cannot take my request. I dropped an email to [protected]@tikona.in and nodal.[protected]@tikona.in but got no reply. I can still see my account as active. I have also paid all my previous bills on time. Let me know how can I expediate this and get my deposit refund.

                          I am surprised to see that after approaching your customer care and Higher authorities in Tikona ,many a times no initiative has taken, Everything is taken care as if it is a routine incidence, that happens every now and then at TIKONA broadband Pune and Tikona don’t even bother to regret that to the customer, telephonic conversation bear no value to me.

                          And I am not still clear WHY my Wi-Fi and internet connection is not working properly

                            So making it again. My a/c number is [protected].

                            I didn't get a bill for the previous month- nor for this month. Tikona, I need a hard copy. Its plain and simple. If you cannot do this, simply give me a formal letter that we cannot give you a hard copy of the bill and therefore we are disconnecting it. Stop annoying me. Stop harassing me. Which part of "I need a hard copy" that you cannot understand?? This is becoming more of your habit now and this is something not many will appreciate.

An executive from their company had collected cash of RS 1150 from me in MARCH 2011.after that two engineers came to my place and tried for installation but it wasnt possible because of poor network. they said that they cannot install connection at my house. And that I will get a refund of the money as the connection was denied from them.

                              After calling their customer care several times, I haven't got any refund yet even after 7 months, after mailing and calling them They kept promising me of the refund, but till now they haven't. I request you to please file my complain for the same.

                              Tikona Broadband Service — Non refund of the deposit amount

                              I had a horrible experince with the Tikona the broadband service provider .
                              First there was a delay in the connection , they provided poor service , and they disconneted with 3 days ,and from 5 months they have not refuneded my money .
                              I have written to the nodal officer still no action has been take

                                I had applied for a broadband connection sometime in July 2010 and even paid some initial amount. But service was never delivered. To my surprise, Tikona sent a mail on 14th July saying that service has been activated, but actually no service was activated. Then Tikona sent some bills. I replied to them saying that bills should not be sent to me as service has not been even delivered. I never got a reply from Tokona. Recently I was surprised to receive another bill. It indicates gross irregularity and mismanagement within Tikona.

                                    Internet "Service" Providing by tikona is not good, Problem is solve in 4-5 day. In Case of Services i will prefer AirTel Internet. Because they take hardly 1-2 hour to solve a problem....


                                    If you are thinking about tikona internet for a new connection Then please think about this. Because no internet access there will be no use of internet and wasting time as well as money..

                                      my consumer id is[protected] for tikona internet service. Since[protected] my internet service is disrupted . On october 18 I made a complaint to tikona no. [protected]. They assured me to get it repaired maximum within 8 hours. When I could not get the remedy , on October again I made repeated complaints to the same number. They again assured me that it shall be repaired within 4 hours and one technician named Ankit has been assigned for this job. So called Ankit did not turn up then I again dialled them at around 8 pm. They promised me to provide redressal next day. and today on 20-10-11 around 5 times I have called their called center . yet all along the day my internet could not be repaired.
                                      I am sufferning a lot due to non availability of internet services at my residence. I have also incurred financial loss due to the disrupted internet service. Internet service providers are callous and careless in their attitude.

                                      I want to thank Tikona for my Refund cheque of full amount. On 3 Aug 2011 I have applied for Tikona ULNTD799 plan and paid installation charges to sales guy, but the installation guy told me that there is no feasibility at my place, so I raised disconnection request. I wasn’t expecting the refund to come to me on time, but to my surprise after 30 days I got my refund cheque. I wish my location was feasible, hope it would be in future as I have good review about their network speed.

                                      Same things has been done with me. Service of tikona is too bad in Faridabad region...My internet problem has been solved in 13-14 days...I have also incurred financial loss due to the disrupted internet service. Internet service providers are callous and careless in their attitude.

                                      Second one when i do call to customer care they say that we will call you within 2-4 hour but call back never come from customer care. and they disconnect or transferred call to different department when i want talk to senior.

                                      Tikona Digital Network — Defunct Internet

                                      It is beyond my imagination that how callous an organization may be. My Tikona digital network consumer id is [protected]. Since October 18 last I have made repeated calls to them at [protected]. Even today they repeated the same story that an engineer has been assigned the task of repairing your internet and we have put your complaint at priority. But it is of no avail. My complaint no is1-[protected]. I have incurred multiple kind of loss due to non availability of internet at my home. I am not in condition to get another connection immidiately. I am feeling very helpless due to the attitude of Tikona people.

                                        I have written to customer care for wrong plan active during reciept of the money payed.
                                        I have applied for BB849 and the plan active is BB449.
                                        I called up the customer care number today but they refused to register a complaint.
                                        1.Complaint no 1-wrong plan activated
                                        2.Complaint No 2 Modem is not working since 9th October.(Tried with borrowed modem and it is working)

                                        Customer care refused to register a complaint and I have written to nodel officer.even after weekly reminder;no response.
                                        My complaint remain unattended.
