because of Tikona 's pathetic service i had requested them to cut my connection one month before only and after that i didn't use their service as well. I paid the rest (due) amount as well and and the time of paying of due bill i had requested to cut their connection and i filled one form for the same. Still today they again sent the bill without using their service.Please help me, I don't know where to go and complain.

    This is very sorry to inform you that in a democratic country which is running over best governance, some others are freely cheating people.
    This company named TIKONA BROADBAND NETWORK contacted me for broadband connection. After couple of days 2 executives came to my door and said we will install broadband with in couple of days but for that u need to pay INR 1500 CASH . After few days i called them Mr ANIL who came to my house picked and said that sry sir we can't install because you are not in our green zone, but don't worry your connection charge Rs1200 will be sent back to your address through check and Rs300 that was over charge billing unknowingly will be refunded tomorrow .... but the word's looking true that "TOMORROW NEVER COMES" they are still spinning me around and no any coin is received by me till now. All i want with you that take some strict action over them and stop this FRAUD COMPANY.

    Tikona Broadband — cheating me

    hi,

    my name is asish id [protected], i get connection from tikona broadband 3 months plan at time pay total cost,not asking when connection,after connection start one by one cheating.

    after take money start one by one cheating us
    1.asked deposite 35/- dd charges and 12% tax extra if not submit not provide connection
    2. after one month asking deposite 12% sevice tax, if you not diposite it,we will cut the connection.

    hai Tikona.My name is Rajesh from Chennai...My User ID is [protected]...the installation completed for me on[protected] & i received my Receipt...But still now[protected] i am not received my password...when contacting customercare they telling me that installation process not finished.but i expained that installation part completed for me...12 days i had waited...still i am not received.but I am not satished with customer care service & my branch delear's service...I[censored] dont beleive me.i dont want TIKONA...plz give me my REFUND...try to take any Action...

    Dear friends Tikona internet is very useless, I will never prefer to any body to use this internet. In Delhi the Nodal Officer is Mr. Veer Garg, his contact number is [protected]. In any company the post of a Nodal Officer is very powerful but here he is a very helpless person, according his state there is nothing in his hand even though there is a diomand rank he is having i.e. NODAL OFFICER .
    Even though if you have any complaint in your service kindly contact to Mr. Nodal officer he cell nuember is given above.

      I make so many calls.......................
      Finally I submit return request to their employee.





      But there is no response .................
      they are expecting to generate more...

      The biggest mistake i have done in
      my life was to take this connection by
      disconnectiong an Airtel connection.

      The service & the attitude of the staff is
      apooling and pathetic.

      Let me tell you,where i coming from
      i was promised a WIFI Connection with a
      monthly rentalof rs 75/ by one of your sales
      rep named Om Prakash @ ([protected]) &
      also promised that that first bill will be adjusted
      and i dont have to pay for the first month.

      After a week i was send a bill of 3000/ including
      the WIFI deposit for 1500/ and i disputed with one
      of your supervisors named Rahul who agreed to give
      me monthly rental for rs 75/ asi wanted to disconnect
      the connection on the same day.

      Since then the actual struggle started with numerous escalations
      & numerous calls,its been 4 months and nothing been sorted
      out yet and i was never send a correct the bill as a result of that
      i have never paid the bill.

      on 22.03.12 i have paid 2100/ to one of your collections exec named nagraj,who promised to activate the connection and which is not done yet

Our team has gone through the details, and as per there update plan is ADCB499 in which speed is 2 Mbps till 8 GB and after that Rs 0.1 per MB charge is applicable.
      Hence for first bill i.e 12 Nov 2011 to 25 Nov 2011 the usage is 3.5 GB hence usage charge is not applicable for this bill.
      For second bill i.e. 26 Nov 2011 to 25 Dec 2011 usage is 7.1 GB hence usage charge is not applicable for this bill.
      For Third bill i.e. 26 Dec 2011 to 25 Jan 2012 usage is 6 GB hence usage charge is not applicable for this bill.
      For fourth bill i.e. 26 Jan 2012 to 25 Feb 2012 usage is 11.2 GB hence usage charge is applicable for this bill.
      And for Last bill usage 5.9 GB so no usage charge is applicable.

      Tikona Broadband Service — Cheating held by the company's sales executive

      I feel very ashamed to make a complaint against the following company. it was been useless for me to talk with the company operators. because no respond was given from them. I was told that I will be given 300kbps speed for Rs. 499/- at the time of installation, but after the broadband installed the speed was only 150 kbps. It makes me feel that the company is a cheat. i have been cheated by them. It will be pleasure for me if I get a chance to go against them at any cost. I want to make them cry.

      We regret the inconvenience caused to you. Please provide your User ID/Service ID and modem MAC ID. We also request you to keep your modem ON for us to monitor your connection status from the back end.
      We would also like to inform that our contention ratio for fixed monthly charge plans is 1:10 and unlimited plans is 1:20. Slow speed is often attributable to several factors such as customer’s PC health, whether AV is installed or not, whether auto-updates are ON while using internet, etc.

      Tikona Broadband Company — Cheating the Customers

      I disconnected Tikona Broadband in Dec 27,2010. I need to get Waiver amount of Rs 179.70 that amount has been approved long back. I got a message from Tikona and Customer Care People told "You Waiver amount has been Approved you will get cheque with in 15 days. I gave Complaint so many times but no use. Now they are telling your Waiver Amout is not approved. They are charging Money for 512 kbps but I didn't get more than 128 kbps.

      Tikona Broadband — Incorrect billing

      I have a Tikona Broadband connection for the past 6 months. My user id is [protected]. All the six months, the company has levied a charge of Rs. 75/- + service tax to me for providing me a WI FI router, when I have never been given the router. I have lodged close to 100 complaints, written to the Nodaldesk, and the Appellate Authority, but nobody has taken any action. When I refused to pay the same, the company kept making calls from collection agents. Why should I pay for a service which had NEVER been given to me. In addition, I have suffered mental agony. I demand refund of the payments made to the company,
      I have similar issue. They harass me to pay. I dont demand for refund. But they are not authorised to ask for it even more.

      Tikona service should be boycotted.
      My internet service was stopped by you in the month of February 14/2011 to 14/3/2011 due to non payment. Although i had submitted payments by cheques through your prescribed bank ICICI drop box, but cheques has not been presented in my account. In march i paid complete bill to your collection person and he committed, I will get bill corrected in next month for month of February, which was not payable. The pending amount for that month is continuously showing in my account. I have many time asked to your call center and collection person also but any action has not been yet taken . You are requested adjust my bill for the same month.

      Very poor speed

      Very poor Internet connectivity. I'm a 749 plan user with 35gb @ 4Mbps, and by 5th of every month, my speed is automatically getting reduced to 512kbps. I have made complaints regarding this issue earlier too but there is no response still. Worst ever service I have ever experienced. Get my issue solved as earlier as possible.

        I had taken a tikona connection in February 2012 and had paid the marketing agent a sum of Rs 2100 for the connection and the modem. However, the technician called up the next day to inform me that the connection would not be installed since the apartment in which I was residing would not intercept the signals properly. When I called Tikona to inform them of this development, they promised me to refund the amount within 30 working days and it has been 2 months since that day and they have not paid us anything and only promise to refund the money via a cheque. They deliberately try to divert the topic by saying that the cheque due to us was routed back to Mumbai since there was nobody on our side to receive the cheque. I find this extremely unprofessional and suspicious on their part and it has caused a harassment to my friends and I since a subtantial amount is blocked unnecessarily. Please redress the situation.

        The company Tikona is really unprofessional, as they don't understand the meaning of commitment. I am Saumya Srivastava from Mumbai, had ordered a Tikona with a 2MB plan. 5 days passed, there was no technician who came to our house to install it. On the 5th day, Installation people came and told us that their is no coverage. We decided to unistall it and then they said that refund wil happen after a week. At the time of ordering they charges us rs 2200 without showing us demo. We do expect a professional gesture from Tikona as we cannot afford another Rs 3000 to give to other company at the time of installation. I want an official answering it.

          I had a Tikona connection # [protected] facilitated by Mr Rahul - Mobile No. [protected] on behalf of Tikona. It was working fine for 3-4 months when one day I found that RWA of my society has removed the Tikona access point from my building. I informed the same to Tikona and was given complaint no. 1-[protected] (23/02). However, after several followups, I got to know that the connection is not being suspended as they always mis-understand my problem or dis-connect my phone.

          I called the sales person Rahul and he told me he was aware of the issue so he can help.

          He offered me to take a fresh connection in the name of my wife and pay another Rs 1300 to him (whereas the outstanding of my previous bill was Rs 624 only for January). I agreed and on 29th February I got another connection [protected]. He told me NOT to pay the last bills in conenction no. [protected] as he is recovering the instruments and confirming disconnections due to interrupted service (I've the receipt of Rs 1300 paid to him).

          However, this never worked, the internet was too slow or frequently disconnecting. When I called Rahul again, he refused to help and told me to call #[protected] and get help from customer care.. The story started again.. and this time I sent emails for conformation on disconnection. This time, I was given multiple request ids everytime I called or dropped email:

          Hi, I am Sachin Sharma. I have a Tikona broadband connection and I am very happy with their services. All these blatant lies about their bad services and all is nothing. I think companies need to play it a bit fair, just because Tikona is providing quality services to small towns and cities like mine, doesn’t mean that other rival companies can just go around spreading rumors. I mean even we need to be connected and why should only the big cities get access to quality internet access. I am glad that Tikona came to Guntur with their amazing services because earlier, all we had was the local ISP’s, which didn’t even have the proper infrastructure. Stop blasting Tikona folks, they are doing a great job.

            I tried to contact you through different channel But now you people forced me to publish it in public foroum
            Your Agent (name not remember but his mobile number is - [protected]) did wrong promise with me. I am using Tikona Internet service since September 2011.I requested to Tikona to disconnect my service immediately on January 21, 2012 but now it is 19 March and they still not disconnected my service in these 2 months.
            Please answer these question :
            1. Why your agent (name not remember but his mobile number is - [protected]) committed that Plan Name: BB449 is available in Rs. 250 / per month ?? and also he committed that if my service will slow then he will give me user ID and password of other customers so I can access Good internet always.
            2..Why my service is continue if I told you to disconnect ?
            3.. I got a mail from Dinesh Kadam Tikona Care where he stated that disconnection will take maximum 45 days , but why your promises is crossing limit ?
            4. Why you people harassing me mentally ?
            5. Why I have to pay bill if I don't want to use your services and already requested for disconnection 2 months before ?
            6. Why not I must break your wireless equipment (which you installed in my house) because of anger and mental harassment by you people ?
            7. How long time you people still need to disconnect my services ?
            8. Why not I must file a case in Consumer Court and appeal for reimbursement ??

            I feel that they have good customer service. There were occassions where I had to escalate the complaints but it was rectified immediately on escalation.

              i took a tikona broadband connection on 25th of dec. 2011. after 2-3 days it started giving some login problems like it takes 15-20 minutes to log me in. when i was tired of this problem, called Tikona Care and requested for disconeection & settle my refund/payments on 13th Jan 12. but those guys closed my request without any action. on 31st Jan 12 they called me for the payment, then i told them the problem and again requested them to disconnect my connection with ref. no. 1-[protected] or just solve the problem and wave of my unused period bill amount and i'll continue with it. but again those guys closed my request without any action and generated 2nd bill ans calling me again and again for the payment. they are saying that if i'll not pay the bill they'll send me the court notice/challan and i'll have to face problem. tell me guys... is it fare????

                Hi,

                I ordered for a Tikona WIFI connection on the December 2011. The Sales Executive who came at my residence offered me a Plan that was not explained to me properly.
                I Paid 1157 as the Booking charge, However when the engineer from the HO came at my residence to install this WIFI connection he demanded for more RS.1500. i was dissatisfied by this and as a result i returned their product.
                I was told that i will be getting the refund amount of RS. 1157 with in 15 Business days, its more than 2 months now but i havnt recieved the payment from Tikona WIFI.
                the Sales Exe. wont answer my calls and the Call center of the Tikona Helpline is unable to help me on this issue.

                I hope this Helps to get my refund.

                    Applied for internet connection on 25the dec and it got installed on 30the decm, and after 2-3 days it stopped working , logged thee complain in tikona customer care .. engg DEEPAK [protected] visited , As per Him theis is a fake connection , No proper network available, frequent disconnection issue will always be theere ..

                    theen i have received n nos of calls from tikona for thee whole jan monthe i asked theem for cancellation but no action has been taken .. theen i have mailed theem also for cancellation and after 3 nos of reminders .. theey replied theat cancellation done on 16the feb ...

                    but still i m getting reminders sms and email for thee bill where as i haven't used thee connection .

                    Please help to resolve theis issue as i have paid 1200rs for thee connection and now getting monthely bills also. which is not at all acceptable....i want full reimbursement of thee payment.which i have paid at thee time of taking connection as its not working since i have taken it..

After many mails i had removed the connection and kept aside and i mailed. After some days one of the representative from TIKONE care came colllect the set box of internet and amount also i paid.

                      But after the taken the kit they have again sent me bill i don't no. why this private company like TIKONA will do fraud things.

                      Internet — remove the connection

                      i want to remove my internet connection as i m shifting the place so please do remove the connection as tomorrow i will be shifting the place...i am calling from 3 days customer care but no1 is responding..even for the bill payment they are telling that they will be sending their person and no one turns up...so please remove the internet connection as early as possible...then only i will pay the bill.

                        My name is Lalit Kumar (304, Purwa Shekh Lal, Besides Subhash Nagar, Meerut.) I have applied for Tikona Broadband at my home through employee name, Ashvani. He said that he will apply Tikona 799(unlimited) plan at my home, with the speed of 2mbps till 6gb and after that 1mbps.
                        On the day of applying that plan he gave me MTS Mblaze, and said that Tikona has a tie up with MTS. And said connection's speed matters to
                        you not the connection name. And said it has more speed than the Tikona Network. And on using the MTS Mblaze after 6gb of speed it gaves me 18-20kbps as the direct download speed. He Fraud me in connection plan, company name and didn't even gave the bill for MTS MBlaze.

                          We applied for new connection, we paid 1500rs on[protected] and they told us that in 3 working day you'll get connection but still we didnt get connection,from Tikona guys come but the said extra 750rs, they charging extra money for switch and wire but when we called tikona customer care they said that the cost is included in first subscription charge(or installation charge which is 1500rs).
                          Tikona sales representative Mr. Raju N. P. Sales executive Id[protected] contact no- [protected] resident of bangalore university quarters took extra 1500rs for providing wifi router but he is still not in touch with us and not receiving our calls.

                          if you come across these people please do not take such action of paying any money to them and Tikona official management must take some action against them.

                            I had put a request on Thursday, 16th February 2012 for relocation of installation address. I had put this request through mail, as well as phone (Ref.# [protected]). I was told that this would be done in 3 business working days.

                            After repeated followup phone calls EVERY day, I have seen not even 1% progress or response on this issue. It has now been more than 15 days past the 3rd working day after 16th.

                            This e-mail is not a follow-up of the issue but to mention that since I have not been able to access internet since over 2 weeks now, I will not be paying my pending bill (Jan-Feb) until the following has been agreed upon-

                            1. I shall not be asked to pay Rs.250 for relocation.

                            2. Amount from 22nd February 2012 (day after the 3rd business working day) upto the date the connection gets installed and is working, will be waived off from the subsequent bill.

                            3. The bills generated since the past few months have a pending amount of approximately Rs.400. This amount was waived off somewhere in August-September (the rest was paid and there were actually no dues remaining) but has not been cleared from your billing system. This should be cleared from your system and made Rs.0. I have email records also of the same which I have sent to many Tikona personnel in the past already.

                            Until the above points are not agreed upon, I will not pay the pending bill. I am not sitting here with no work just calling Tikona everyday. This kind of service is not acceptable. I have not been able to access mails or do any work at all because of Tikona. This is worth much more than the compensation I have asked for.

                            You can call me on [protected] or [protected] to discuss the issue. I would speak only to a Senior Executive.

                            Oh and please remind you engineers to install the connection whenever they get free time.

                              Dear Sir, I am Nagendra Kumar from Ghaziabad. Sir I have subscribed for a Tikona broadband connection on 11 Feb20012 at 10:46 am by online mode on their website www.tikona.in and also made the payment for the above subscription online i.e., on their website (Rs 1157, through my citibank credit card). Sir from thatday till now I have not received any positive response from their side. I have called their customer care several times and they say that there is no record of my subscription, not even my registered mobile no. on the other hand just after placing the order I had got several calls fromtheir executives asking me that I have enquired for a new BB connection, WTF. How can this be possible when they dont have my no. The worst thing is every time I call the CC, I have to explain my issue in detail and at the end they say that they have forwarded my isssue to senior authority. 2 weeks had passed and still they dont have any clue about my order
                              or even payment to them. Sir I forwarding the follow up of this issue along with required attachment (get response page from tikona.in after placing my order) and other details as well. Looking forward for a solution ofmy problem.

                              TIKONA WIBRO — new connection not working

                              TIKONA USER ID [protected] & PASWARD RECEIVED ON 19/0/2010 BUT TILL DATE INTERNET WORKING .I HAVE REGISTER FOR PLAN 49/-PER MONTH 100 MPBS DOWNLOAD FREE.BUT WHILE CONTACT WITH CUSTERMER CARE THEY SAID PLN IS 300/- PER MONTH,I HAVE REQUESTED TO PL CHECK MY PLAN AND SERVICE,AND START INTERNATE IMMIDIATELYC

                              TIKONA WIBRO — Malfunctioning Internet Service

                              I am Krishnan of Triplicane,Chennai. I bought the Tikona WiFi broadband service in mid-January and even though it was it was supposed to a WiFi connection, they only installed the connection through Ethernet Cable, and saying that they will install the WiFi feature in 'a days time', they never did even after innumerable calls to their so-called Customer Care for three months.

                              Even the Ethernet connection was pretty bad and I could only manage a minimal connection speed of 30kbps at best when speed was supposed to be 600kbps. The net connection worked only every now and then and when it did it was never too consistent. Finally the net connection failed altogether as the Tower in my area was removed at the beginning of April and till Mid-may, despite complaints, they never installed the Tower. The guy who comes to collect the bill assured me that the connection would be repaired but it never was. Hence i disconnected the service in May but it seems the only thing these guys care about is collecting money for the one and a half month period in which I had Zero net connection.

                              To my fellow Chennai Residents, I implore you not to waste your time with fraudulent net service as most of your time will be spent in Calling customer care(to no avail) rather than browsing the internet.

                                My sun-in-law Mr. Sagar Jagtap filled application for Tikona Internet service ( Application No : [protected]) on 20/9/11 with deposit of Rs 1000 ( Sales Executive ID :[protected]

                                Tikona person came to his place after two weeks for net connection but they couldn’t manage to connect Internet

                                They told him that there is problem with his Laptop so he check the laptop and call them back for connection (Name of the person is Ayaz -[protected])

                                They kept modem and cables at his place

                                After that he checked his laptop and found that everything was ok with his laptop and since then he had called them for connection but no one has replied.

                                He had also called you customercare serives many times and also visited Tikona office two weeks back (He met Vijay [protected])

                                Vijay told him that he will send someone immediately to fix the problem but that also didn’t happen

                                We are really not happy with Tikona customercare services

                                After that we repeatedly contacting Tikona Customer care Mumbai Nodal Officer, Maharashtra Nodal office Mr. S. Nair the appelate authority. We have provided all
                                detailed which required them time to time. However till day the problem is not solved.

                                They are not replying to our e-mails.

                                  I applied for Tikona broadband before 1 year. They give me trial for broadband and take money 1250 through DD and said that new connection will installed within 4-5 days.Till Now they don't installed new connection. When I asked for refund they did not give me any satisfactory answer.
                                  Many time i contacted with tikona customer care they all just transfering my call from one to another department.


                                  Is there any other way to take my money back. I have all the photocopies of DD and receipt genereted by tikona.

                                  (rediffmail,gmail)no chargeable i[censored] are downloading
                                  somthing(song,vedio,softwere)it is chargeable.I see another your
                                  tikona connection that was everything is chargeable. so I tell your
                                  sells manager MR A MAHAPATRA & sells boy MR ANSAR pleased cancel my
                                  connection on dated 26/04/2011. they tell me your connection is
                                  canceled ,you find your chque 661/- after 7 days.but dated 25/4/2011 to
                                  dated 12/7/2011 your connection is not instal my home&i didn't find my
                                  chque661/-.today i received a chque 109/- from tikona.please tell me
                                  immidetly where is my rest amount552/- .otherwise i will do frodcase &

                                    I am writing this e-mail to you with so much pain/ regret/ disappointment that I choose an Internet provider like Tikona. The way these guys have cheated me and many more customers is really commendable.

                                    I had requested for WIFI connection in May 2011 through customer care and was promised it to be activated in a week’s time. The funny part is no one has turned up yet to give me the WIFI connection. However I have been charged with 75 /- extra per month for WIFI regularly from June 2011 till date. I came to know this cheating story of theirs in the December 2011 and called up to their call center, they said it will be fixed as your WIFI is not activated. After that I have called several times to their call center and once spoke to one of theisr call center supervisor (Miss. Poonam as told to me). She promised me that the same will be fixed in next 48 hours. I have lost all patience and coolness because of this. Every time they people have enough story to tell to the customer. How these guys function really and looks like it’s a baseless organization. Do they have proper equipped individual to work.

                                    Every bill has 75 /- extra for WIFI till date. No action has been taken or will be taken I am sure from their end. Finally I am deciding to take you guys to consumer court for this sort of day light cheating.

                                    Now onwards I have started paying the bill without 75 /- WIFI charge. But I see still the previous bill is getting appended to the bill. And I tried making many calls to the call center for this. I try to explain this to these guys but they hardly understand anything.

                                      MY TIKONA A/C# [protected].

                                      I strongly suggest that Tikona should change it's name to TAKE-NA (Don't take).

                                      It has been a very harassing and painful experience for me to be with Tikona. Almost everyday I have some issue or the other. From 26 Jan onwards the connection is completely down. The 1-[protected] is still unserved and open since Feb. The connection is down ever since. I have raised my concern with [protected]@tikona.in, nodal.[protected]@tikona.in, nagesh.prasad, s.nair. I have requested them to disconnect and give me refund on my initial 1 month deposit. No one is paying any heed to my request. Today I received a call from their team again to pay the bill!!!

                                      I wonder how such service providers are allowed to operate. The consumer feels as if they are among the stray dogs who knows only to bite.

                                      I called up customer care regarding that (kindly refer request no- 1-[protected]) and talked to Mr. Nilesh Borate, found him very satisfactory, infact I wish to appreciate his action in handling customers. He tried all his ways to retain a going customer.
                                      Hi, I am Sachin Sharma. I have a Tikona broadband connection and I am very happy with their services. All these blatant lies about their bad services and all is nothing. I think companies need to play it a bit fair, just because Tikona is providing quality services to small towns and cities like mine, doesn’t mean that other rival companies can just go around spreading rumors. I mean even we need to be connected and why should only the big cities get access to quality internet access. I am glad that Tikona came to Guntur with their amazing services because earlier, all we had was the local ISP’s, which didn’t even have the proper infrastructure. Stop blasting Tikona folks, they are doing a great job.
                                      I am suggesting everyone staying in Ramamurthy Nagar area in bangalore not to take TIKONA broadband connection.
                                      This is the worst service provider I have ever seen...:(
                                      from my personal experience.. I used this service for 3 months and the kind of speed and service I got will not entertain me to use this connection through out my life..

                                      I would like to suggest please check/enquire with your friends before taking TIKONA connection
                                      @sachinsharma1: Dude everybody here on forum in not faking about Tikona. They are saying so because they have faced the problems. And that why you can see that Tikona is replying back to there complaints. Just because you are a satisfied customer, doesn't mean that company is good. Though I appreciate the company's efforts to monitor the public forum and replying back to complaints. (But you know they don't have any other option... :))
