I had a Tikona Wireless Broadband service with Sevice ID [protected]. I discontinued the service on 20th April, 2011. Even after calling the Tikona Customer Support, and sending emails to Tikona billing department multiple times, my security deposit is not refunded yet.

Tikona Internet Services — Refund of security

Hi,

I'm Vatan Kumar, I applied for the Internet connection with Tkona in March 2010 but it was never installed at my home. I paid them 500 rs as a security which they have encashed in July 2010 and now they're not refunding my money back to me despite of my repeated reminders. They're still saying that my connection needs to be disconnected only then they can go ahead with the refund of security.

I'll be really thankful to you if you can look into this and stop this act of misconduct and take an appropriate action against them so that they do-not do anything like this in future.

Tikona broadband/internet service — refund of security

sir, About month before i hsvr applied tikona internet service. engg. from company visited to my home for checking of network and he said network is there. nest day executive visited to me for filling up the form and took rs 881/- as security deposte and said after two days engg. will set up the system at my home. engg came for setup but he said no network available in my area and he went back without setting up. when i asked for security refund than he siad you will get your refund within week. one month is about complete but no refund i got till date after many reminders and compliants.

My issue was as able to use the WIFI services with his own router but suddenly was unable to do so. When checked with the technical team he was told that WIFI is chargeable. Customer was irate as said that its his own router then why shud he pay the charges. Also he infm that the sales exec had given him commitment that the wifi will not be charged.

Resolution: Nilesh has tried to take the technical team online but was unable to do so. Hence, he had escalated the matter to them. Also kept proper follow-up & called the cust back as promised to him. Customer is now able to login through his own Router.

    I must put my complain in cateogary of cheating or frauding.I planed to take tikona connection there employ came to my house show me the demo,get my form filled upwith nesesory document and ask me for inastalation fee and one month advance rental I paid it.Next day I got my loging Id and Password after some day there engener came to my place with modem and all did some thing bud dint compleate my instalation.Now Its more then a month I have complain so many times to there costumer care via phone and Email made my complain to there nodal office but there is no rispnce from there side.I want proper service or my money back.Please take my complain on urgent basis as I am in problem for last one month.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I represent my company called Saksham Systems & Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
      We are using internet services from Tikona Digital Networks Pvt. Ltd. and under their service agreement they agreed to provide us static IP with internet services.
      Being a software service provider, it's very important for us have STATIC IP.
      We have requested for this Static IP on 21st of September '11 but still has not been supplied by them.

      We have requested them for the same 4 times by phone, 2 times by email but nothing comes out from them only one word, "Sir your request will be looked into with in 48 hours". that's it.

      Please look into the matter and suggest us what is next please.

        I was using Tikona Broadband ( Tikona Digital Networks Pvt. Ltd.).

        The complaints are

        a) I was told that the initial amount does not include any installation fee. wheras in my first bill i found Rs. 500/- . Upon complaint NO REVERT

        b) I was told at the time of booking that upon a payment of Rs. 75/- a month, i'll get Wi-Fi connection. This was untrue: Upon complaint NO REVERT.

        c) My password was first blocked without any reason: For getting the new p[assword:Then from last five days i have been continuously following up the matter with the company thru emails/helpline. Unfortunately The consumer support is at pity level none has bothered to revert. On helpline nos. i have been given stupid solutions a) To deactivate DND b) To register my neighbour's no. as registered no. with Tikona. c) To get a new mobile connection. I have been advised to change my mobile no.: as company is unable to send sms on my present mobile). Over one mail they suggested me some other ways to get my own password.. Which also failed . I have not received any communication from Company till date.

        I am now tired following up this issue with Company. For Tikona all there customers are helpless and once the customer has taken the services they may harras him like anything... SHAMELESS ORGANIZATION!!! I can't now count that how many mails, SMS and phone calls i have wasted for this unprofessional service of TIKONA. None from the Nodal or even Appellate authority has reverted on any mail or communication..... Nor any concerned has ever taken any step to resolve the issue at any level.

        I HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY TIKONA WHERE IN THEY FRAUDULENTLY TOOK CASH INSTEAD OF CHEQUE FOR INSTALLATION PURPOSES AND I DONT WISH TO DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY AND THEY ARE NOT REFUNDING ME .

          Hello Sir,
          This is to bring you notice about the new Internet connection i have taken. I have paid 950 rs as advance payment to take the new broardband connection from a Service Provider called TIKONA. I have paid for the connection on 1st Oct,2011 and till date nothing has been installed and no update on it . When i call call the executive who has taken the money he says my mobile number details are given wrong and simply asks me to call the call center , and when i call the call center they divert me saying only executive can change my number. Today when i tried to call the executive he is asking me to call his boss and check with him. This is really irritating for me to call them so many times without getting any progress on it.
          I would request to take some action against such irresponsible service providers.

          Hi,
          This is Sekhar, account no is:[protected], I have applied for new connection on friday(7/10/11), and the sales team is Thyagu, Vivek, by the time of booking sales team have told with in 24 hours installation will be done, once the account no is generated, the same is confirmed by the customer care dept and even sundays they are working installation would be done, I have got appointment from Thyagu on sunday(9/10/11), and made me wait whole day but he had not come,

          And today(monday) Thyagu is not at all receiving my call, While talking with area manager Nanda Gopal([protected]), He simply saying that may be by the end of tomorrow we may install, even he is not giving any commitment, simply saying that you have to wait for your turn, i (NandaGopal) can not give you any time frame to close the issue,

          Actually I heard about tikona that their service is very poor (customer support and band width), by seeing the guys Vivek and Thyagi, I have taken a chance to go with Tikona, but the thing is I screwed up with no broadBAND connection, the real thing is the manager who is handling the team is really in-appropriate to his position,

          ANY HOW I AM GOING TO CHOOSE (RELIANCE OR PHOTON PLUS) FOR MY WORK, BECAUSE I CAN'T STUCK UP WITH TIKONA FOR THE SAKE OF RS.1000/-, I LIKE TO FORGET MY MONEY, THAT WOULD BE LIKE ALMS FOR COSTLY BEGGAR.

            Dear Mr Jagadish Savadikar,

            Writing to you with reference to my Tikona user id - [protected] ( Devi Prasad Rath )... Please find below the details:-

            - I have applied for Tikona Wifi broadband with Mr Saurabh - Contact no [protected] with plan of 75 rs per month. I have given the document and chq of amount of 3308.
            - The said amount cleared to my tikona account[protected] on 19th sept as the message received from tikona.
            - Than you colleagues came to me for installation. While installation they have come with wire, so I have asked Mr Saurabh I have applied for Wi fi why they are installing wire at my place.
            - Mr Saurabh told me that this is the process. Once it get installed he will apply for the broadbond on my behalf and install it by today. So I have installed the tikona broadbond wire at my place.
            - Till now I have not surfed a single time after installation just with the hope that I will get the wifi connection.
            - I was in constant touch with Mr Saurabh regarding the installaiton of Wifi. He has told me to install the broadbond by today evening. Even in the morning he told me that he coming with the wify to install in my pc. He did not turned up . even he has not picked up my call.....
            - This led me not other way to contact the customer service for the same.
            - Today I called up the custome service and came to know that I have to pay some odd 1000/- rs for installation of wifi at my place.
            - Though i have given request to install the wifi and ready to payment, just think from my side this is again going to take 7 days ahead.
            - When there are already 3308 rs is credited to my account why you can not just install the wifi at my place and recover the amount from my account. Also collect the extra amount, so that I can avail the facility much faster.
            - I am facing this problem only because of Mr Saurabh and his wrong commitment... I think this fault is from Tikona side that they have not provided proper training to the sales team.
            - Because of their fault why should i suffer in getting the service in time.
            - I request you to please take action on Mr Saurabh and avail me the wifi facility As soon as possible.

            - Though the request should be routed to you after customer care fails, how ever i have not felt the customer care can help me inthis case as per my discussion with the customer care executive today.
            - Please take up the matter at the earliest.
            - Waiting for a positive response from you.

              This is regarding the experience I have received from Tikona's Sales person Mr.Swapnil Amre (cell no: [protected]) who had visited my residence on Saturday Sept 3rd 2011 for the order form collection. As per him, if I pay Rs.1000/- cash the installation would take place on Sunday Sept 4th 2011. Also he committed that the drilling work required to pull the cable inside the house, would be carried out by the ISP without any charges.

              I had paid him the said amount, however there was no one from your company visited for installation on Sunday. Even after making number of calls to follow up with Swapnil, the call was never attended. On Monday Sept 5th, the technician came to install and found there is very weak signal and the device cannot be installed in my window. He was also not equipped with the drilling machine tools that would required to pull the cable inside. He too tried calling Swapnil to talk about his false commitment of free drill work, the calls were not attended. This is very upsetting experience and I would not like to go ahead with Tikona installation. The sales person has given all false talks and never attended a customer after receiving the order. I also got another Sales person's call on Saturday saying the area is not handled by Swapnil and he has poached into his area. That again confirms Swapnil is not doing his job ethically.

              So far one month is over, and I have not heard anything around this issue from anyone at Tikona. This proves that the organization is not serious towards the customers but wants to make money through such a fraud employees.

              Also I had registered a complaint with Tikona (ID - 1-[protected]) to receive the refund of my initial payment (Rs.1000/-) immediately from Tikona. I had also sent email in this regard through the customer login portal of Tikona. However, there is no reply so far. When checked with the customer care, all the replies given are of no use. They dont even understand the concern of the customer. Like a parrot they are just repeating the same lines. When asked to transfer the line to the higher authorities, it is not done. The email sent to the NODAL officer, mumbai is not even replied for more than a month. I am frustrated with this company and not understanding how to get my money back. According to the customer care, the cheque is in process and it would take another 30 days to reach me (effectively 60 days from the complaint date).

              Its like Tikona is taking the customers for granted and keeping all fraud employees to collect customer's money without providing any service.

              I demand my money back as well as an explanation from Tikona for such a pathetic response.

              Its more than a week now but Tikona is still saying they will TRY to resolve this in 24-48 business hours. There was no courtesy from any concern authority to call back and provide correct status. Forget about letting me know about the my money but not even what action are they taking against the fraud sales person is not been communicated to me.

              I still maintain my statement... Pathetic Company, Fraud Sales Team and Useless Customer Service(?).
              Today its 10th Nov 2011 (more than 2 months) and I am still waiting for the refund. Tikona is not at all a trustworthy company to do business. I feel this wait is endless to get any refund from them.

                1.You took the money but nobody turned up for the connection.
                2. I told to your sales person that drop the cheque for clearance only
                after the address proof that I have, is acceptable to your company (
                bank passbook) but he didn't turned up and put drop the cheque for clearance.
                3. After my several followups I got to know that I have provided
                driving license against the address proof document which till date I
                don't possess.
                4.You put the cheque for clearance but nobody turned up for the connection.
                5. Your area manager Mr. Singh and sales person Mr. Vivek sharma
                ignored my calls.
                6.Nobody correctly guided me about procedure for refund of money for
                about 15 days .

                  Hello Sir,
                  I have applied for a tikona broadband service and deposited Rs. 1000 for this. But due to technical reasosns they can't provide me the connection. For last 3 months I have been chasing them for refund of my deposit but they are not getting it refund. Numerousd calls and mails to their customer care,nodal officer and appellete tribunal are of no use. They don't even reply to my mails. Please tell me how to lodge a complain so as to get back my noney.

                  Tikona Wireless Broadband Service — service disconnected still billing going on

                  I have disconnected my Wireless boradband service provided by tikonna, on 20/1/2010, they have already acknowledged this on email and customer call, and instrument and other accessories taken back still tikonna has been sending me bill and harassing me on sms and mobile.

                  Tikona — return of connection deposit

                  Dear sir

                  I am nitin tandon , residing in waghodia road . The Tikona people have come & collected Rs 500 from me for connection , however their services in the start were very poor also the hidden charges for laying down cable were quite high .

                  On understanding the same i requested to return the money ..... till date no response . Offlate i have taken Reliance Netconnect data card which works superb & to all my friends in our new colony i have advised not to allow anyone from Tikona for their unruly behaviour & poor services.

                  Can i understand if by this complaint somebody can help me in retrieving my hard earned money
                  Even we are also facing the same problem, they are not fullfiling their commitments. my acount number is [protected], I am sandip. I called them servral times but they just ingore it by saying some work is going on the site. for last 3 month they saying the same thing.

                  same problem . i asked for settlement of bill for the month of july as i was unable to use for atleast a month due to there technical problems, but they didn't till date, called them several times but to vain, i asked them to dissconnect there services to my surprise it was dissconnnected in hardly 12hrs. convey this this message to some authority as my bill is pending for 2 months which i have used and i want to pay but after settelment for non usage, my user id [protected]

                    Receivng bills even after disconnection request of Internet
                    Hello Sir/madam,

                    I had a Tikona internet connection connected in June 2011. This device used to give some netowrk problems most of the times. So just after a month I gave request to disconnect from their customer care as well as from Email. Accordiing to their policy this device should be disconnected in 7 days after the request and a person should come to take it back.
                    Inspite of many complaints by me nobody came to collect internet device. After a months they are sending bill with 1500 amount. Now they say unless I pay this amount they will not take the device back and I am getting bill every month.

                    My service is currently suspended and still I have to pay the bill. Please help in this. I just want to return their device and be free from the SMS and calls they are doing for paying the bill.

                    Well I am facing the same problem. I discontinued my services due to bad network issues...called the customer care they gave me a cancellation number ...my services are discontinued but i am still getting bills and sms.
                    Fedup of this harrassment...
                    Yes, these people never came for solving the network problems. Now they dont even come for disconecting it.
                    I wonder how much time tikona persons work in a day. When you say 48 hours on phone, you take 2 weeks. I am sick of this 48 hours...
                    Well I guess the only option is to approach the consumer courts and sue this company who seems to be unprofessional and fleecing people...
                    @asper, Do you know how these things are done? Is there any official site to where we can complain.
                    I am also facing the same problem as mentioned above. Very worst connection that I have ever seen.

                      I had paid Tikona for a yearly internet contract on September 03. Their Sales representative came and collected the cheque for Rs7.5K from my house. The same was encashed within 3 days. post which is my long and sorry tale of follow-ups with Tikona for installation of Wifi at home. Needless to say, there was no response...NO REVRTS ABSOLUTELY!! The sales person has changed their number, the office guys and customer care promises resolution within 24hrs...everyday! Still waiting...

                      Post which, out of desperation, I have been calling their customer care, writing to Nodal Officer, Appellate Authority and even MD for refund of the amount they are sitting on....and no result. After 3 consecutive hours of follow-up today with their customer care and speaking to 21 employees who either keep putting you on hold and disconnecting or keep stating that the call has been transferred to the wrong department and needs to be transferred somewhere else (after you have repeated the entire story again and again and again...)!!                       Tikona Digital Networks — No installation and no refund!!!! Horrible Customer service!

                      There are a list of problem that I faced since I applied for the Tikona Wi-Fi network. It is like one of the biggest mistake of my life to choose Tikona as my internet service provider.

                      Problem 1: Connection not installed at place
                      Problem 2: No one care to reply on e-mail send to '[protected]@tikona.in'
                      Problem 3: Paid an amount of Rs 1050 but got the receipt of Rs 1000, when informed via call no satisfactory reply
                      Problem 4: Even nodal office don't reply on e-mail.
                      Problem 5: Give complaint number every time but no solution

                        This is another complaint that I am putting up in the last couple of months. I have been facing connection issues with Tikona broadband every night. I get 'no network access'. If it does get connected by chance, the speed is as low that I cannot surf the web also. This has been happening since the past 3-4 nights. I called the night before but was on hold for almost 20 minutes and then hung up since could not speak to customer care. Yesterday, I spoke to customer care executive and registered a complaint with Mr. Sujay, number mentioned below. He tracked my MAC Address and agreed that the problem was with their modem receiving signal. There was supposed to be an engineer visit today morning. I got no call, and there was no visit. I called Tikona again and they said engineer will come in the evening and replace the modem. I did not get any call again. I called the 3rd time and the Mr. Sanjay from customer care said that engineer cannot come today, and will only come tomorrow.

                        I have a lot of important work pending which I already wasted the last few days on. Today again there is no internet connection. I am mentioning here, straight forward, that I WILL NOT PAY MY BILL FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER until I am given a waiver for the days that my net has not been working. These days will be counted from Saturday, 24th September till my net does not start working. It has already been 4 days now.

                        I will not suggest anyone to go for Tikona Broadband. Every ISP has problems I have seen, but Tikona has the highest in number.

                          My friend has applied for TIKONA (wired) Broadband. The connection was installed nearly a month ago. He is staying in Ravet. Since installation the connection is working for few days only i.e. 10%. he has called many technicians/seniors in Tikona.in. They told that there is problem in the device which is installed on the terrace. But no one is coming to replace the device.

                          At-last my friend is complaining to this forum and within few days to the Ministry of Communication & IT.

                          1. Service very-very poor.
                          2. I appeal to the public; do not g for this brand.

                            Some time they send to me billing date 4th, sometime 3rd, sometime 2nd. Lot of time I complaint just fix this date in 5th, because I am getting salary after 2nd or 3rd, but they never give the response.

                            Reason is that they charge late fine every month Rs. 25, whenever I paid on time or not doesn't matter they charge Rs.25.

                            If I have complaint in customer care as a all proof at least 15 times, they send to me auto generate reply every time. But no body touch to me or not give to me solution.

                              I wanted a new Tikona connection. So, when i contacted the customer care through email with all my details, they replied me their representative will contact me soon. But now 4 days have passed. Nobody contacted me so far at Visakhapatnam. It seems Tikona is not interested in expanding their services. Even for those who have taken connection, Tikona is yet to instal the modem. There is no contact No. for Tikona for any city in India. Only a Toll free No. which will not allow us to talk to them if we want a new connection. So there is no way to talk to anybody from Tikona. Those who have paid for the connection but not received modem should report to Police for cheating the customers. BEWARE OF TIKONA, a cheater.

                              I had a TIKONA Broad Band Connection by the USER NAME Number [protected], i wish to submit a few facts about what had transpired from April – 2014 to the present day.
                              I had requested Mr.Santosh your executive to disconnected TIKONA Account since my house was being dismantled in April – 2014. I was asked for other references and whether i would like to continue the account after i moved to the new location.
                              I replied in negative way to both and asked that the connection be removed immediately. That they would take the away the equipment, also an SMS that my account has be suspended.
                              After few days i was asked to pay rupees 1, 500 since the month of may had entered and since my plan was tri monthly plan. I was threatened that legal proceedings would be initiated against me. I contacted the customer care several times every the executives spoke in Hindi. I requested the person who speaks in Telugu to communicate with me. So far this has not happened.
                              I continued receiving a messages about Rs.1, 500/- that i have to pay. Unable to bear this harassment i decided to make the payment clear the nuisance. Though I did not use the net.
                              I made the payment Rs.1500/- through online on dated . . Immediately the suspended account was activated and now I am asked to pay Rs.1987/- for continuation for a connection to a house that have been dismantled and for a connection whose equipment also I don’t process. I submit that entire process as created a lot of tension and have been harrowing experience. Lack of professionalism and utter this regard for the consumer and his requirements seen to be your hallmark.
                              I request that the correspondence with me about Rs.1987/- be immediately suspended. Feeling which I will have to take appropriate action.

                              I have taken tikona brodband connection & i have taken 4 Mbps plan but I gets only 1 Mbps speed after paying 4 Mbps plan charge, Tikona is cheating with us & my advice is not to take tikona.
                              I've stopped using tikona since august 2016 after contacting customer care to deactivate my account. They said they would keep the account on hold and if I don't use internet my account will automatically get deactivated. But that was not the case. I used to get threat calls stating they would file a legal case against me. And today[protected] I got a text that I shared below. Worst broadband experience ever. Let them do whatever they want I am not going to pay even a single penny.

                                This is to apprise you that i applied for a conncetion on 17th of Septemeber with Tikona.in and paid Rs. 1000 towards advance payment in cash but till now no one contacted for the conncetion despite me contacting their customer care twice.



                                Sequence of events:



                                1. 17th of september paid cash to Ajay cell([protected])and ecode[protected]on his request since he mentioned cheque will take minimum 7 days to activate.



                                2. 20th of september called up Ajay and asked the status but he said it is in process and subsequently called ccare to check they confirmed no application or money is deposited and assured me an action on the same.



                                3. Again no call from executive or customer care so called up again on 21st of september Ajay but he did not take the call later again contacted customer care and they confirmed payment but when asked about conncetion no satisfactory answer.



                                4. Again no one contacted so called up on 22nd of september and Ajay surprised that no one contacted me ...again tried ccare number but this time unable to connect,

                                Finally written a mail to share my agony and pain and later they confirmed that they have forwarded the issue to the concenred department.

                                Request a suitable action on the same.

                                I paid the connection amount through cheque on 10th of April 2011 but till now there is no connection is given by your company.
                                from last ten days i complaint against that but there is no reaction from service and costumer care department.

                                Since then I have made several calls but everytime the official says that the field engineer will call me in few minutes.

                                  I have taken connection from Tikona Wireless broadband internet conncetion on 12-Dec-09 and was not satisfied with the services and requested for disconnection of the internet connection and they said that they will disconnect in 3-4 days but till now they have not disconnected the connection and sending the billing every month. When I asked with them they said they will take care but again I am getting the bills to my address. There are not responding at all for disconnection.
                                  I have taken other internet connect from 28-Dec-09 and using that only.

                                    I am extremely unhappy with Tikona services. Upon humble request by Tikona sale engineer I subscribed Tikona newly lunched scheme 30 GB for 30 Months and paid a sum of Rs.3308/- vide cheque no.000025 drawn on Kotak Mahindra Bank. The same was honored on 12.09.11. At the time of making payment I was promised for immediate installation and activation of new connection. But regret to say till date no installation has been done. I have tried reaching Tikona customer care representative / sales engineer but have not got any response. They don’t take my calls. Two days back I was explain that the new modems are OUT OF STOCK since one month. If Tikona do not have requisite hardware then why do they take new orders giving false promises to customers? Today I was explained Tikona Signals are not available in my area.

                                    Prior to this I had surrender one Tikona connection (User ID [protected]) on following counts:

                                    1. I do not get service network coverage.
                                    2. I had complained but no technician has solved the problem.
                                    3. Excess billing and un-appropriate behavior on telephone by tikona customer care representatives on several occasions.
                                    4. Tried to log in for over an hour but was unsuccessful. The following was the error “Authentication Failed. Authentication Time Out. Please Check Your Credentials”

                                    I AM EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH TIKONA SERVICES.

                                    In these circumstances by this letter I hereby call upon you (Tikona) to install and activate new connection at the given address within 24 hours of time or refund to me a sum of Rs.3308/- paid towards new connection immediately.

                                    I have applied for Tikona broadband connection on 28/07/2010 by paying cheque of 500/- INR (Dated 03/09/2010 no. 000045).

                                    Then Tikona officials came to our home and, tried to install network for proper working. But they will unable to establish broadband connection to our home after several visits. At last they denied of the possibility of connection in our building and said that they will refund the money.

                                    Till now we haven't received any money back after several complaints. last two complaints number are 1# ID1-[protected]
                                    And, 2nd complaint number is ID1- [protected].

                                    But, I am still waiting for the payment from company and, they are even not entertaining my phone. This thing have cause us the immense pressure. and loss of valuable time.

                                    Please let me know about the legal processes or what should I do in the future?

                                      Hi Sir,

                                      I am using Tikona broadband connection (Subscriber ID: [protected]) for last 6 months. Last week I have shifted to new rented house which very near to my old rented house (within 100 meters). I raised relocation request on Friday with Tikona and sent email to their customer care with scanned copy of my rental agreement as address proof (Asked by customer care person to do so).

                                      They informed me that the request will be resolved with 24 to 48 hours. Today it is more 5 days but they didn't call me once or resolve my issue. Whenever I am calling them they are just replying within a half an hour you will get a call from Tikona side. But after that no response. Even I have paid all the bills till date within long before the due date.

                                      I have work from home and for that reason I need internet connection at home. For last couple of days I am facing huge difficulties for my work. I am really disappointed by the behavior of the Tikona Broadband Service. The kind of customer care Service they have that is ridiculous.

                                      Now if I am calling, nobody is picking up and the phone ringing again and again.

                                        I Anant Prakash (User Name: [protected]) have been using Tikona for quite a time now.

                                        The service is great however the reps at your customer service #[protected] are really disappointing. Day before yesterday I called to get my plan changed from 849 to 899 due to fluctuating speed issue. I was advised by the rep that I sure can change the plan however as per the companies policy I have to pay the plan difference amount of 50.00Rs, for which I agreed. Yesterday I made that 50.00Rs payment and called up again to activate my new plan. However to my surprise, I was informed that I have to pay some amount of 700+ Rs in order to get it activated. My bill is due next month hence, I don’t think that really makes any sense.

                                        Due to this I asked for a Floor Supervisor named Rahul (best part they don’t even have EINs). Anyways I informed him my problem thinking that he should be able to comfort me and help me out, however he was really aggressive and bluntly stated that he cannot do anything in regards to that. I explained him that previously I changed my plan to 849 from 699 without paying my bill before the due date, but he had an answer for that as well. He stated that Company Policies have changed. Now shouldn’t I be aware of it???? I should leave all my work and keep myself educated about Tikona’s changing policies. I asked him that wasn’t the guy I spoke previously was aware of the change in company’s policy??? Why was I informed that by just paying 50.00Rs my plan will be changed??? For this, all he had to say was that “Sir, I am sorry that you were incorrectly informed”. Wow !!! This is amazing, you give false information to a customer, the supervisor comes online apologizes and things are over. There was no Empathy shown towards the customer. Come on!!! we too run business and would never want to lose even a single customer of ours however the way these guys treat customer seems they really don’t care (however called customer care).

                                        This is really not acceptable. Customers today are well versed with their rights. Hope you guys are aware of Vodafone Issue when they tried to take their customer for granted. All we look for is a good product and a good, polite and comfortable service, which seems to be missing here.

                                        The amount is not an Issue the Issue is honoring what was offered to the Customer. Also, a soothing and comforting voice can take away all the anger from an Irate customer but the way your customer care guys talk it feels more insulting.
                                        I have been using Tikona wireless connection since Jan 10 and till date I haven’t received smooth services. Earlier at least I could somehow use wireless connectivity. But for last 3 weeks I am facing disruption in connectivity and I had called up their customer service department for resolving the issue. Since I was out of station they couldn’t attend it, which is fine. After coming back I again called up their customer service department last week Mon/Tues. I didn’t hear back from anyone until a week. One of their representatives attended on 16/05/10 in the evening and after spending close to 3 hours couldn’t resolve that. Prior to his attending at least I could connect to the internet (although the internet used to get disconnected every now and then) but since then I can’t do anything at all.
                                        I sent them an email regarding this issue but so far they haven't done anything. Everytime I send them a reminder email I get a standard reply saying that theechnical complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department for necessary action and the resolution is in under process
