My samsung lcd tv is covered under the extended warranty scheme. The lcd panel was giving problems and the samsung technician adviced replacement of the panel. I registered a claim with the croma extended warranty almost 2 months back now. The complaint no is 62266. Despite numerous calls and visits the claim is still not settled. Each time I call the customer care number I am assured that the complaint will be resolved within 2 days and no one even bothers to call. I have begun to feel that the croma extended warranty scheme is a big scandal and their only aim is to delay the issue till the customer gets tired

I had a very bad experience with the Croma Extended Warranty Center.
1. The staff hung up without resolving the issue (even though they were unable to point out to the exclusion clause in the contract, I agreed to buy it if it was not working). But they would not be willing to send a technician to check if the sensor on the TV was working or not.
2. Refused to process a claim for replacement of a part of Rs.10, 000 on a washing machine was paid by us to the dealer on Croma's recommendation to contact the dealer. The extended warranty covers it, and it has been some time since it was paid.
3. Some of the processes are so bureaucratic they would meet Government standards if not beat them. For example they would like me to provide a photo copy of the invoice to the technician when he comes (on another equipment) along with the complaint number that he provided me on the phone when I was driving (just send the details with the technician I can sign off or send me an SMS); the agents are not well trained or the parameters (the word used by them) are not customer friendly - wanted to know the relationship of the caller to the buyer? Let us wait and see what happens on the one equipment they have decided to send the technician!! I am not expecting much at this point unless they work hard and change my view about a TATA enterprise - they would lose a big croma customer.
I bought a Croma window Ac with two years extended warranty, It has got some problem & stop working. I have called Croma customer care centre after two days they asked me to call extended warranty customer care centre, I called them so many times every time there was a reply that matter has been escalated to the concerns . I am unable to understand attending a service complaint has taken more than 15 days even after that I have been told by customer care that I should approach the Croma store where I have been again told to contact the customer care center.

    Hello,

    Bought a Murphy Richards Microwave from Croma in Nov 2012. The very first day I made microwave popcorn and started seeing flames coming out of the microwave. Called Croma, they said contact Morphy directly (BTW had taken 2 years extended warranty in addition to regular 2 years warranty that comes with this microwave). Calling Morphy Richards a couple of times, they sent one person to take a look at this. He came and told us not to make popcorn in the microwave!! I am talking about microwaveable popcorn!! If you do not make that what the hell is the microwave for?

    So he comes and puts some whitener on the appliance. And this happens the very next day when we were trying to make a papad. Called him again..
    and he comes and does the same thing again. In the meanwhile, Croma fails to do anything. They were like call the company directly.
    Will never ever buy anything from Croma again. If you [censored]ing do now want to provide any after sales service, who wants to buy there?

      I bought a Panasonic Microwave on 31st december 2012 from Croma Sion branch on my Citibank credit card.
      Exchanged old Microwave for Rs 300 and bought extended warranty for 2 years for Rs 419.
      The microwave was dead on arrival and the demo engineer declared that when he came after 2 days of purchase. I had to chase the store for that too.
      Have been complaining over the last 14 days, to call centre to sion store, they said Panasonic hasnt answered them.So they cannot do anything.
      I have not bought it from panasonic so its really not my lookout.
      After promising delivery everyday for the last 10 dyas, he calls up today and says the same oven is not there. So i should come to the store and pick something else I like. That is absurd. I want a full refund immediately. This islousy service from teh Well reputed TATA group.

      Croma — Not a microwave at all

      I have walked into Croma retail shop at Jubilee hils , Hyderabad on 23/01/2010 and asked to explain about Microoven brands ultimatly one sales person Mr. Prashant (502166) has appraised me about their own brand CROMA pretended to be a good product compared to other brands. Unfortunately I have purchased the CROMA brand microvoven vide invoic No.[protected].

      The problem:

      I felt this is not a microoven just a metel box as it never function as per the specifiations povided in the manual given by them.
      I is not even roasting a papad.
      While reheating the foods spills over in the oven iself.
      Food products beome corbon or half cooks.

      I am sharing this expeience to all my Indian brothers and sisters, please do not get cheated by such poducts marketed by CROMA by fixing their brand name sticker on some metal peaces.

      When I have complained thy have send some unskilled man to repair. What he will repair to a metal piece. he answered to our questions "it will be like that only." He has faught with my daughter for her signature on his job card.

      He never be able to explain and solve the problem. If CROMA do not refund my money (the price I have paid) and take back their product, certainally a case will be filed in consumer court by 20th of April 2010.
      It is shameful on the part of to a Reputed TATA conmapny selling these kind of pretended products.

        I have Purchased LCD from centre Square mall, baroda on 8/1/13. I have clearly informed before purchasing that my basic requirement is USB movie playback. Marketing executive informed me all format will be supported for USB movie play on one of LCS of Panasonic. Now when i install and started only mpeg format is supported not even basic format is supported. Why Marketing executive missell the product even though i informed my basic requirement? Is this the customer service provided by croma store? There are other options also available if marketing executive clearly informed me before than i should have gone for some other product. Request you to guide in said situation.

          I had bought a godrej washing machine from croma on 24/10/12 from ghatkopar croma.(r.city mall) On that day, there was an offer running in the store and I was supposed to receive dinner worth 1990 along with the washing machine. I have been following up since then but no response.croma is blaming godrej since then and we havent recd our dinner. Didn't know what to do next and hence posting this complaint.

            Hi,

            I have ordered "Buffalo HDD 500GB USB 2.0" from cromaretail.com website on December 12th with reference number SLE00127964. The product got delivered after 15th December. I have opened the product and found that product is defective/faulty. I have called customer care immediately and they have informed that a pickup will arranged for the product. In between 17th to 23rd December I have called them 5 times asking about the update on pickup. No one has a clue of what is happening and every time I call the customer care, a default reply "Have emailed delivery item, they will contact you within 24 hours". Finally the day came and on 24th (that's like after 5 - 6 times calling and waiting for 1 week) someone came to pick the product. I have waited for 4 working days i.e. till 28th December and called again asking about the status. Again the same reply from customer support "no update from warehouse of the returned product, Emailed them for the update". Also they have informed me that within 24 hours I will have an update. Today i.e. on 29th I called them again and again the same, no update and they don't even have a clue where the product is at the moment. Its been like 2 weeks now, money has been deducted on the day purchase has been made and still I did not get the product or the money back. Please help me in getting update on the same.

              Hi,

              I have purchased a Dlink 3G WiFi Router on 8th Sep 2012 from Chroma Store situated at Mulund, Mumbai.

              The router stopped functioning from 6th Oct 2012. The product has been given to Chroma Store (same as above) for servicing on 12th Oct 2012

              Till 9th November I have not received any response on the same, so I have given a call to customer support on[protected] to register a complaint. The customer care executive assured me that I will be receiving a call back within 24 hours, but till 26th Nov 2012 I have not received any call from Chroma.

              On 26th Nov 2012, again I have called customer care for registering complaint, but they do not have any update staus of the product. Again I have been told that I will receive a call back in next 24 hours which never happened.

              Till 3rd Dec 2012 no updates from Croma store, (no calls nor any e-mail) so I have informed them that will be lodging a complain in the consumers forum. I have received a call from Croma Retail Store Mulund on the same day and they assured me that they will let me know the status of the product in 24 hours, as it is taking a lot of time they also assured me that they will replace the product with a new one.

              Bottom Line is that I have purchased a product because i was in need for this, but now after purchasing I have used it for 1 month and this is with service center for more than 50 days till today. So this is same as wasted my money without getting any return.

              I have made almost 10 calls to customer care and 5 e-mails but no reply from anyone. I want a brand new router in working condition, compensation Rs. 5000/- for harassing the customer and extended warranted applicable from the date I receive the new product.

                I have purchased the product vide Bill No SLF02A[protected] on 14/11/2012 with the instruction of delivery on 18/11/2012. but it was delivered on 20/11/2012 due to situation beyond control. on that issue i don't have any issue. But the product which i have received was intact but the sony coupon which are to be received with the product of the box haven't received. the pack was intact on the box but the coupon were not there in side the box. 20/11/2012 was the last day of sending SMS to sony for registering. As soon as i received the product I have registered the complaint vide conplaint no 753654 on the toll free no[protected]. but till today i haven't received any reply on the same nor getting any satisfactory answer on that account.

                Please look into the matter that who has taken out the 5 nos coupon's as this kind of behavior is not expected from the Tata Son's Group Company.

                I am registering this again as I have lost opportunity to participate in the contest to win some good prizes or stuff.

                Please take suitable necessary action in this regards so that customer didn't loose faith in the good Tata Son's Group Company

                  Hi Friends, Please be cautious while shopping on Croma online store. They charge the money from your card and do not provide you the order number. On calling the customer center they keep you giving lame excuses. I am facing this issue. Even after 48 hrs of placing request on their website still waiting for the confirmation email and the order number.

                    I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator FF360L IC375FCGB4 vide invoice No. SLF02A[protected] on[protected]
                    1) Refrigerator delivered was unprofessionally packed & is damaged which I only came to know when Demo & installation was done on[protected] by Engineer from Whirlpool
                    2) Delivery by Croma was done in very unprofessional way-No one called before coming to my place, being festive season no one was at my home - they insisted & delivered at my place with the help of my neighbor in our absence on 12/11/2012 during late evening
                    3) I was also assured that Promotional Gift (1)Adobe Refrigerator Kit & (2)Hand Mixer will be delivered at home along with Refrigerator - but instead of Hand Mixer I received Microwave kit
                    This is the second time I’m been let down by Croma, Earlier I had purchased a blackberry Phone with a gift item-Bluetooth which is useless & never worked properly from the day one

                    Product was delivered damaged & dented was one issue, but not attending to my grievance is a real shame.
                    I never expected this kind of a cold response.

                      Harassment now has a new word "CROMA"

                      I have not yet received the delivery of my products even after booking on November 15. I was assured of delivery in 3-4 days, later when i visited the store they told me due to bandhs etc, products will be delivered by Nov-22. Yesterday I locked a call on customer care, now they say that all the products are in Back Order stage, where as i was informed that only my Panasonic Home Theater was in back order stage, to which I agreed. Complaint no is 757506. No one picks up the phone at the store even after calling them continously.

                      Do let me in such what can I do, if i want to cancel the product then what is the process for the same.

                        I have purchase lg t.V. 12/11/2010 amt. 14600/- With 2yrs extended warranty amt. 1800/- In croma shop, sion koliwada.
                        After 6-8 month t.V. Remote access problem, after reg. Complaint nobody proper response then after 4-5days engi. Will came & check that time he was remove accessing panel & told to my parents & me on phone same problem showing many t.V.'s that was I have change your panel after receiving that part, but till date that person not came I have many times contact to his no. But not ans. After that I ignored that problem coz. T.V. In working condition with remote use.
                        Last month again my t.V. Was totally shutoff. Not showing picture in display only blank screen, I have reg. Complaint in customer care & told that problem, nobody came after 4-5 days. I have again call to customer care no. [protected]
                        that time customer care person (juliet) reg. My complaint no. 61651, after 2-3 days engi. Will came, he checked t.V. & Tell me after change your display kit problem was solve but part was arrange after 7 days.
                        Complaint reg. Date 19/20th oct. 2012 till today nobody came, I have cont. Contact with customer care nobody response only told me I have call you back. That time somebody told me that statements (customer care)
                        somebody give me mr. Hiralal no. He was also give me new person no. Rakesh. Rakesh told me after check ur complaint status I have arrange that part,
                        after 2-3 days nobody response, I have again call to CC person (vilas) total story told to him, he told me I have check & forward mail & reply to rakesh,
                        nobody solve that problem.
                        Dated 07/11/2012 again call to CC (sheetal) told all things she was told me I have mail your liability product amt. 11000/- To croma u have to decide collect that, that time I want to detail about refund that amt. 11000/- Direct collect possible or not? she was not responding.
                        Again same process call to CC (juliet) & told all things she was call give it to mr. Milind kamble as superior person, he was told many things about my t.V. Expenses & about liability amt. & Etc. I have confused coz. Nobody told that terms for purchasing time & some arguments mr. Milind told me if I have solve your t.V. Problem (after 15-20days not confirmed) your t.V. Warranty was finish. I have shocked coz. This person indirectly force me settle claim. He want my email ID & mobile no. I have given that but after that croma person force me about refund amt. 8500/- Before 3 days that amt. 11000/- & This time rs. 8500/- Also shocking thing is against new purchase that claim was tried to settle. My warranty period already extended but not repaired my tv under warranty & also told me after repair your tv warranty was finished. I can't want again faced that fraud shop & persons. Nobody faced that problem. pls. Kindly guide to me. Thanks

                        i bought a microwave from Croma, Indiranagar, blr last sunday and its been 1 week since nobody has turned up for demo, have made several calls with no respite..

                        i dont recommend croma for after sales service...

                          Croma online is a disaster. They accept orders for products which they do not have. Placed order for a Galaxy HDTV adapter on 17th November. The order was placed, while they do not have the product. Now have called up customer support thrice - said first time cancellation confirmation would be sent in half an hour - does not happen - keep on calling, rattle out full details each time - finally they say write to customer support - they should rename it customer harassment. Croma online customer harassment center is what you should look ahead to - be very wary of these guys.

                            I have purchased a croma microwave on full payment from croma store at Mulund, Mumbai on[protected] per invoice no.SLF02A[protected]. The store people assured a confirmed product home delivery on[protected]. Follow up with their customer support around 3.30 PM (since no response from the company till then) assured that the product will be delivered on 16th itself within the next two hours which not happened. Regular follow up with the customer support went futile till this day and the person attending the customer support (and / or people addressing the issue) does not have any attitude (or means) to provide customer support. If a customer insists on current status, some lame excuses are given. They are not equipped to give the status of product / complaint / service. Registering complaints through their website and /or customer support or similar portal is of little use. (They do not provide any complaint registration ID / Number. Attender at customer support will not provide you with any other service provider contact number, even on specific inquiry). Your calls to store no. that may appear in web portal are also diverted to the call Centre number i.e. [protected]. Such non-responsive attitude is never expected from Tata group / subsidiary.

                            I have purchased a croma microwave on full payment from croma store at Mulund, Mumbai on[protected] per invoice no.SLF02A[protected]. The store people assured a confirmed product home delivery on[protected]. Follow up with their customer support around 3.30 PM (since no response from the company till then) assured that the product will be delivered on 16th itself within the next two hours which not happened. Regular follow up with the customer support went futile till this day and the person attending the customer support (and / or people addressing the issue) does not have any attitude (or means) to provide customer support. If a customer insists on current status, some lame excuses are given. They are not equipped to give the status of product / complaint / service. Registering complaints through their website and /or customer support or similar portal is of little use. (They do not provide any complaint registration ID / Number. Attender at customer support will not provide you with any other service provider contact number, even on specific inquiry). Your calls to store no. that may appear in web portal are also diverted to the call Centre number i.e. [protected]. Such non-responsive attitude is never expected from Tata group / subsidiary.

                            This acknowledgement should have to be given at the instant of filing a complaint(This can be given automatically by the server or even by a nursery kid). We are to know what you are doing or done to solve the complaint and a real time tracking status as to what happened. We do not expect any sitting ducks to waste consumer's time. None from your end have the courtesy to update the complainant on the matter. I think this is your extended SerVice.

                              - I booked an washing machine on 11Oct2012.
                              - I was promised delivery on 13Oct2012 betn 12-5pm, waited whole day like fool, took work off for delivery, reniuned my Diwali and my days salary, could not visit my relatives also.
                              - Again i was promised next day on 14Oct, waited whole again like fool, no delivery and not communication from Croma end, untill i followed up..
                              - finally after several calls/escalation, i was promosed on 15oct without fail after 6pm, again confirmed by them delivery will be made by 10pm, i came half day from work, no delivery and no news, my son has fever, I could not take him to doctor, requested my cousin to take, bec waiting for blooding washing machine till 10.30pm.
                              - i want compensation from Croma for mental trauma, service lapse, false commitment and days salary.
                              - I swear on my God, i will never purchase from Croma and will recommend my associates also.

                              Please let me kow if i am egilible for any compensation.

                                I have purchased a Sony LED TV from Croma on 12-Nov-2012. When I was purchasing i was told that the TV will be installed very next day.
                                The next day they delivered the TV but none of the Gift items that they offered. Also, Sony technician is also not came for installation. So I tried to make a call to the Croma Koramangala by dialing the number present on the top of the bill. But this call redirected to Croma customer care center after a long wait with music’s and Croma ads. Finally the person told me to directly go the croma center. I drove to the croma center which is more than 10 KMS from my home and they informed that the technician will be coming on tomorrow (15th-Nov) and they gave another number for contact. I waited the technician until 15th As I couldn’t find the technician. So I tried the new number which they gave and identified that I was once again fooled – the new number also was redirected to customer care center. I awaited around 10 minutes in the line and finally got a customer care executive. He informed me that the technician will be available on 19th – that is after 7 days.
                                In short,
                                1. Croma doesn’t have direct numbers for contacting their showroom. They are making fools to customers.
                                2. Once a customer buy the product from Croma, you wouldn’t get no response from that specific showroom. You can’t reach them by phone.
                                3. In the Croma website, they gave options for giving complaints. But you won’t get any response once you registered a complaint. This option is just for fooling the customers who is planning to buy a product from Croma.

                                Today i tried to make call to Croma Koramangala, Some one took the call and disconnected.
                                When I tried next time, again some one take call and put into music mode for fooling me.

                                I have purchased the TV last monday(12th-Nov-2012). Today is 18-Nov-2012. It is already 6 days passed.

                                  Purchsed Kindle from Croma((Ref. No. SLE[protected] dated Oct 15, 2012)….Despite blabbering about kindle’s availability at their local stores, they don’t have it at any of the 2 stores in Chandigarh, so had to buy online, took them more than a week to send it to me, and I had to fight with Bluedart 3 times before finally i got hold of my kindle. The customer service is weak….infact the girl I talked with didn’t have any idea what is Kindle, so couldn’t get nay help from her. I was not able to buy a printer from them because they were only placing orders for 2 printers at once…that is funny….I would like to give them half star out of 10 for my overall experienec (1/2 out of 10)

                                    I bought the croma split ac 3*CRC0698 invoice no SLF02A[protected]
                                    on 17/02/2012 in croma,crown interior mall in Faridabad.From the 1st day of installation
                                    there is absolutely no cooling,so after complain croma technician said all r fine,but remains no cooling.
                                    Again complaint then they told me ,there is no gas, after fifteen days they fill the gas,then for 15 days
                                    It was fine. again no cool, again complaint,ur service guy said leakage, then its takes a week, then 1
                                    week was ok.then again no cool, complains further again gas filled, after 10 days remain same, then I
                                    told pls replace the AC,but they denied. this happened in 3 months from purchase.and in summer there
                                    is no cooling at all,complaint again and again ur service people came clean the filter and said it is ok
                                    from their measures.after 7th month again gas fill, but problem is remain same.this happened more than
                                    8 times in 8months.even this period there is no power in my home in 2 intervals ,but ur
                                    service guy said the ac is fine for without run the ac.again many times I said to ur service guy pls stay
                                    30minutes and check the cooling,but they never wait more than 5 minutes. so u thing how ur croma
                                    company giving the torture to the customer like me for Purchased ur own company product.Again i
                                    made complain on 03/11/2012 croma store Faridabad,after getting my details he never called me,then I
                                    went 07/11/2012 the same store,again they said we will send the service guy.i told pls replace,but again
                                    they Denied. if they come for service, this is a winter season in delhi NCR, they will say cooling is fine.
                                    so pls u imagine about my condition for a simple ac,how long waste my time ,
                                    money,more electricity charges and patience. so finally I will complaint to CEO croma india ltd,pls take
                                    necessary steps to replace my ac or refund my full money .

                                      i booked an apple online at Croma. After a lot of follow up they said the item is not in stock and will refund my money. They are still not doing it, and holding on to my 65K illegally.

                                        lousy services are being provided....and unfair trade practices/fooling customer in the name of tata( reliable brand ).......a magazine was been published by croma in a weekly newspaper that showed a speaker from intex with it,s components , also mentioned below the image. i purchased a intex speaker which was not provided with the remote, been mentioned in the add and on the box of the product....after my complaining to customer services no. i was told to talk to the store manager about the default. after i went to the manager he told me that there was no remote with this product and return the product because we cannot provide you with the remote as the product was offered in a scheme .....again after i talked to the consumer services senior executive about 6 to 8 times and i was told that you would receive a call from the store within an hour .and they delayed this matter for another 4 -6 days..after calling once more i received a call from the store telling me all the non-sense stuff and telling me to collect it after a day....but when i visited the croma store(mangalam place,rohini,110085,delhi)i was told the person dealing all this was absent that day......and it has been approximately a month. no action has been made...
                                        i hope this matter would be taken care off
